Source: John Sciulli / Getty Terrence Howard Engaged To Mira Pak Terrence Howard and his ex-wife have reconciled. The “Empire” star proposed to Mira Pak on Christmas Day at Crustacean Beverly Hills. The couple quietly divorced three years ago but they’ve clearly been on the mend. Terrence proposed to Mira with a 7-carat Ben Baller designed ring. “We have an idea of how long we think life is, but we do know how short it can be,” said Howard said in a video he posted on hs Instagram. “It took me 45 years to find you, my love. It took me 45 years to find you. But now that I have you in my 50th year, I will spend the rest of eternity at your side. And I pray that everybody finds that one that will complete them for all eternity because it means everything. I love you.” Congrats to the happy couple!

Last night’s episode picks up with a reminder that Cyn Santana’s and Joe Budden’s romantic getaway was not the fix they thought it would be. Joe has a problem with Cyn because he feels like he’s the only one who cleans around the house. Meanwhile, Cyn is kicking it with her sisters at the house (as Joe cleans) trying to get them to do her dirty work—no pun intended—by questioning Joe about when he plans to propose. Joe Budden says he will propose when he’s ready but wants Cyn to take some of her “wifely duties around the house seriously.” Cyn knows who he is so, whatevs. Let’s fast forward a bit. Kimbella and Juju link up for a kiki, and Juju once again tries to convince Kimbella to put her differences aside with Yandy since she’s about to be going through a similar situation. Kimbella is fronting like she doesn’t want to but we know she will. Later on, Mendeecees calls Yandy from prison to tell her that he spoke to Juelz Santana and doesn’t like the situation between Yandy and Kimbella and that they should talk. Yandy isn’t really into it but we know she’s going to try, begrudgingly, of course. MariahLynn is back, talking about how she’s serious about her career and committed to not acting like a wild cassowary for the sake of pursuing her dreams and all the mouths she has to feed (her mom, sisters, and nephew). She meets up with Cyn and Nya Lee where they all wax poetic about their grind and their goals. Cyn even says she’s back in the music game and she has been asking Joe to write her a song for over a year but it hasn’t come to fruition yet. However, he did encourage her to take vocal lessons, which she obliges. But then MariahLynn informs her that Joe posted a video online where he filmed all her junk and complained about her not cleaning up. Cyn wasn’t aware of this, but she is now. So, Cyn meets up with Joe later on for a nice meal and to call him out about making her look crazy. He tells her to get up and clean. She says she doesn’t have time due to the baby and then Joe brings up the fact that he has been asking her to get a nanny for a while because they need the help. Her response is, “Where am I supposed to find a nanny I can trust?” as if they don’t have money and resources enough to hire a professional. She basically gets defensive and he’s coming across as condescending which makes Cyn even more upset, and that’s that. Problem not solved. Where’s Dr. Jeff Gardere when you need him? Next, Safaree and Jaquae come face to face again at a showcase after MariahLynn performs, and manage to squash their situation. Then Nya Lee gets a moment to address a problem she has with DJ Self. She says Self never put her on to any of his platforms and that she looked up to him as a brother so how could he diss her like that. Meanwhile, Self is looking like: Because they’re not that close in his mind. Basically, Nya feels ignored and entitled. Self says she could have come to him in private since she felt they were “so close.” Nya gets mad then goes all the way in with the theatrics. She is trying to get that intro credit love next season! Jonathan’s father recently passed which made him all soft and pink and missing all his friends he fell out with. So, he texts Cyn, Yandy, Juju, and Kimbella to meet up with him. Juju is super confused given that they’re still not quite on good terms. This is about Jonathan trying to reconcile with people who he feels it’s worth saving the relationship since life is short and all that jazz. Kimbella hasn’t arrived by the time Jonathan starts talking about how he has been misusing anxiety pills by mixing them with alcohol and how that has affected his behavior negatively. He goes on to apologize for wilding out on them and expresses that he misses his friends. Juju says she’s ready to forgive and move and then Kimbella comes through. Jonathan apologizes to her too and goes over the spiel again. Kimbella is willing to forgive him while Yandy is just sitting there looking like something stinks the entire time. Once Kimbella and Jonathan get settled, Juju says it’s time for them to address the elephant in the room. Yandy gets all triggered and stank and replies, “Like the elephant can address it herself.” She pulls Kimbella to the side because she doesn’t want to do this in front of them even though they’ll be able to hear the conversation. They start talking at each other again about who did what and who is talking to who the rudest, etc. Eventually, Yandy brings it down a bit and actually tries to offer Kimbella support but Kimbella says she doesn’t want it and maintains that Yandy is fake. In Kimbella’s world, Yandy likes to be a social media friend, meaning that she’ll post pictures and captions on social about how she loves them and wishes them well but won’t actually be there. So, that’s that. They don’t move past anything and Kimbella sashes away with an attitude. They’ll probably be beating this horse again and again. Caryn Chandler knows what you’re saying about her. She’s well aware of all the chatter out there on the Internet. And the long-time girlfriend of Little People, Big World star Matt Roloff is here with a rather interesting response to it all. Just prior to Christmas, Chandler shared the above picture on her Instagram account. It features her and Roloff looking all cute and cozy during an evening out and it included a caption that read: “Matt & I grabbed a bite tonight and tried to plan for Christmas eve/day.” This one snapshot and this one sentence generated quite a bit of buzz, however. Followers speculated as to whether a certain question had been popped, with one individual asking simple, Marriage ? This isn’t the first time such a question has been posited online, but it was the first time we can recal that either Caryn or Matt actually responded to the inquiry. “Not yet,” Chandler wrote back, fueling the impending engagement rumor even more. After all… not YET pretty much says it all, doesn’t it? Not long before Chandler published this image, Roloff shared one of his own alongside his significant other – and, once again, folks responding with questions over this relationship status. Caryn and Matt have been an item for well over a year and even recently purchased a house together in Arizona. It’s natural that fans would be curious if a wedding is in the cards. Less natural, unfortunately, is the reception Chandler has received from many critics across the Internet. She worked as a manager at Roloff Farms for many years and knew Matt’s ex-wife, Amy Roloff, very well. For this reason, the romance between her and Matt has faced a bit of scrutiny… even as Amy has moved on with Chris Marek and no bad blood exists between the exes. This hasn’t prevented total strangers on the World Wide Web from blaming Caryn for the downfall of the Roloff marriage, as evidenced by some of the very harsh things said about her here: It’s all very silly and a whole lot disturbing, however. Matt and Amy have been separated for close to three years now. They enjoued 27 years of marriage and have four kids together and continue to star side-by-side on Little People, Big World and almost never say a single negative word about each other. ‘Tis the season to be VERY merry if you’re Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner. On the latest edition of their podcast, the former Married at First Sight couple announced that they’ll soon be adding another limb to their family tree. Yup: Otis is pregnant!!!!!!!!!!! “We are expanding the family! Jamie and I are now pregnant and we’re going to be parents of two,” Doug told listeners this week, adding in excitement: “Something we’ve been trying for a little while now has finally come to fruition and I can’t wait to meet our little baby boy.” Jamie jumped in at this point and said that Doug hopes it’s a boy — so we can’t say for certain whether the twosome has learned the gender just yet. Otis also mocked her husband a bit by adding: “I love that you said Jamie and Doug are pregnant. I’m pretty sure there’s only one of us pregnant.” The pair is already parents to 16-month-old daughter, Henley Grace. Back in July of 2016. they went public with the horrific news that Otis had suffered a miscarriage . “Our Baby Hehner was just too beautiful for earth,” Otis said at the time, adding: “I love him so much – ALWAYS will – and can’t wait to meet him in heaven one day. Please pray for us.” Otis and Hehner named this lost child Johnathan and honored him a year after his death by planting a tree in his honor. “I will forever be thankful & I’ll never forget the countless Frans [friends and fans] – and even strangers – who reached out to me to offer love & support,” Jamie wrote in July of 2017. It was heartbreaking stuff, and Johnathan will never be replaced of course, but thankfully Jamie and Doug have other blessings to now be thankful for. Bird Box is a post apocalyptic thriller that begins when a mysterious force threatens civilization. The force, if you look at it, causes you to not only do bodily harm to yourself but pushes you to kill yourself. Mallory, played by Sandra Bullock, connects with a group of people with the desire to survive. Eventually, Mallory must use her instincts to keep her and her children alive with the help of a box of birds. Mallory and the children are blindfolded for the majority of the film and have to figure out how to navigate the world without the ability to see. Safaree surprised his girlfriend Erica Mena on Christmas Eve with an elaborate proposal. Sources tell TMZ hat Safaree proposed with 20,000 rose petals and 200 candles while 112 sang “Cupid” and “Crazy Over You” with a live band in Erica’s living room. Safaree’s sister also posted a video of the romantic moment and added that Safaree had been planning the proposal for two months. TMZ adds that the ring that was personally designed by Safaree and Trax NYC and costs $175,00. It also features 14 carats in platinum. Safaree and Erica first went public in November. Back in 2017 while they were on VH1’s “Scared Famous” Safaree was clearly smitten with Erica and said he wanted her to have his babies. Do we smell another “Love & Hip Hop” wedding special??? Last week, David Beador accused Shannon of being a drunk who couldn’t take care of their three teenage daughters. He based his court filing on statements that she had made on the The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion special. Now, Shannon is firing back with a court filing of her own. She says that David is just bitter. In court documents obtained by Us Weekly , Shannon Beador is firing back at David’s claims that she’s too drunk to care for their teen daughters. “I am informed and believe — based on his communication with me (and sometimes his refusal to communicate),” Shannon begins. She continues: “that the Respondent is deeply angry with me.” That happens a lot in contentious divorces, and the Beador split is definitely that. (Remember when David had the water shut off at her house, where his own daughters live? Yeah) “And,” Shannon says, David “was looking to hurt and embarrass me.” “His Request for Order was apparently designed to attract media attention and assert control,” Shannon speculates. Celebrity divorces are tricky, not only because of the finances involved, but because filings are often made public. That can really change someone’s agenda if either party is feeling petty. “The term to which Respondent refers (and mischaracterizes), ‘self-medicate,’ was used during a frank conversation,” Shannon says. She was talking “about the breakdown of our marriage and the issues precipitating it.” Shannon then provides context: “The conversation was filmed for the television show of which I have been a cast member for five years.” “At no time did I use the term ‘self-medicating’ or say that I was abusing alcohol,” Shannon points out. She then points out that reality television is not a documentary or a confession. The filing says: “Respondent is basing his request on a moment of a TV show that has been edited for entertainment purposes.” A court could conceivably subpoena raw, unedited footage from a reality series. This would make sense, especially for a reality show about families, if the court suspects that cameras have evidence of wrongdoing. But what airs on Bravo is almost never going to meet courtroom standards for evidence. Shannon makes it clear that she is not claiming to be perfect. “In real life,” Shannon says. “I have admitted to making a handful of poor choices in the last year-and-a-half.” Real life should not be conflated with her show. “But I have taken responsibility for my mistakes,” she asserts. “And discussed them with our children, their therapist, and my therapist.” Shannon adds: “The same cannot be said about the Respondent’s accountability.” Ultimately, Shannon says that she does not consent to David’s demand that she abstain from any alcohol while her children are present. But Shannon suggests a parental order of her own. Her filing reads: “(a) neither parent shall engage in any behavior that is detrimental to the children,” It continues: “(b) each party shall supervise the children appropriately when they are in his/her care.” Finally: “And (c) each party shall co-parent cooperatively and communicate respectfully with the other at all time.” We suggest that she not hold her breath for David to agree to that. M adam C.J. Walker is one of the most influential Black business owners in history and now a home that she once lived in will possibly be transformed into a hub for entrepreneurship. According to Lo Hud , billionaire Richelieu Dennis , who owns Sundial Brands and Essence, plans on turning her Irvington, New York Villa Lewaro mansion into an incubator space for women of color. As a Liberian immigrant who came from humble beginnings, he sees a lot of parallels between he and Walker’s story and believes that the incubator will be a way to pay homage to the woman who was our country’s first Black woman self-made millionaire. “The Dennis family wants to make sure that Madam Walker’s legacy continues not only through the hair care products but also through this beautiful home that was intended by Madam Walker as a place that would inspire others,” Walker’s great-great-granddaughter A’Lelia Bundles told the news outlet. “They embody it themselves and they understand why it is important for other people to be able to share the vibrations that come from that house.” The home was constructed 100 years ago by Black architect Vertner Tandy . In it “The King” brings out booties, stripper poles and fast cars for a 9-minute visual that includes songs from Vol. 1. As previously reported The Dream denied rumors to Ebro Darden of Beats 1 on Apple Music that he dropped three albums because he was afraid of “slippage” but because he wanted to drop some “crack.” “I just think that in the beginning nobody told me how to do Love Hate, nobody told me how to do Love vs. Money, but as success grows more people come in,” said The Dream. “As it gets bigger then it turns from one to two voices to the third voice to now you have a room of forty people saying, “This is how we’re going to roll out. We’re going to go talk to these people.” But at the same time, you lose a part of what made it what it is, you know? And that part was waking up all feeling deciding to do something, not looking at the industry, not worrying about like oh, am I going to go number one? Is it going to fall to number ten?
