Netflix Has A Hip-Hop Competition Show On The Way With Cardi B, Chance The Rapper, & T.I.

Read the original:

Source: Christian Weber courtesy of GQ / Christian Weber courtesy of GQ Singing competition shows, like American Idol and The Voice , have bee around for decades–and they’ve supplied some of industry’s most successful talent throughout the years. Despite singers like Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood being discovered on television and making a name for themselves, we haven’t gotten to see that same process happen within hip-hop….well, not yet at least. VH1 did take a stab at making a similar hip-hop competition show with  The-Dream , Rick Ross , and Lenny S. just last year, though it didn’t quite produce any long-lasting stars like we might have hoped. But if anyone can save the day, it’s Netflix–and they’re coming through to create a brand new hip-hop competition series titled Rhythm + Flow . The popular streaming service has landed an interesting trio of talent to judge for the show: Cardi B , Chance the Rapper , and T.I.   Rhythm + Flow is going to be a ten-part hip-hop talent search set to debut in 2019. This upcoming project has an impressive musical pedigree from the hosts alone,  but on top of the upfront talent, the show is also hailing from John Legend and his Get Lifted Film Co. Not only can we expect to see some new breakout talent on the series, but there’s bound to be some absolutely hilarious moments as well. Cardi B is obviously no stranger to reality television; her absolutely insane rise to fame makes a lot of us forget that it’s only been 2 years since she appeared on VH1’s  Love & Hip Hop: New York . Chance the Rapper has also been expanding his portfolio beyond just rapping recently, starring in 2018 horror-comedy  Slice  and hosting an episode of  Saturday Night Live . As for T.I., we all know that he is a reality fixture of his own–appearing in a variety of vehicles across the Viacom platforms, including his own series with his family T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle on VH1. Rhythm + Flow  comes to Netflix from executive producers John Legend, Jeff Gaspin, Jesse Collins, Nikki Boella, Jeff Pollack, Mike Jackson, and Ty Stiklorius. The series intends to find and foster undiscovered hip-hop talent across multiple cities. Cardi B, Chance the Rapper, and T.I. will serve as the three main judges, though additional artists and industry personalities will be announced in the run-up to the premiere. Is this new show something you can get behind, or are you totally over competition shows?

Irina Shayk Fucks the Floor of the Day

I have a hard time believing that this is what Irina Shayk looks like when she wakes up. She looks pretty fucking airbrushed, like she was starring in some Russian mail order bride catalog she avoided starring in when she secured Ronaldo the Rapist and played his beard until getting knocked up by Brad Cooper… She is an immigrant, from Russian, moving in on your turf, stealing your men and your jobs, killing your America, but destroying the values the country was built on, by being a communist, making communist babies, like some kind of sleeper cell…..attack from WITHIN… I do think she’s still one of the hottest and I appreciate her fucking the floor like she was a cam girl sex worker…even though she’s too high end of that shit… I do not know what magazine this is for, but I like it…Nothing like a good old fashioned spread leg humping the air photoshopped mom who is still a whore… JOIN THE NEWSLETTER YOU ASSHOLES! Kailyn Lowry to Jenelle Evans: God, You’re Homophobic!

This not exactly just in: Kailyn Lowry will not be inviting Jenelle Evans over for Christmas this year. Or any year after this, either, we can safely say. The Teen Mom stars have gone back and forth on Twitter over the topic of Kailyn's sexuality, with Jenelle making what certainly seems like a very insensitive and inappropriate comment. That's so unlike her, right?!? Scroll down to see what we mean and to take a side in this ongoing feud… 1. Kailyn and Jenelle Were Once Close Friends It’s true! We actually documented a little while ago how their friendship turned into a rivalry . 2. Happier Times… Heck, Kailyn once helped Jenelle post bond and get out of jail. But the relationship appeared to sour for good when Evans told the world Lowry was pregnant with her third child… before Kailyn wanted that news out there. 3. I’m Coming for You, Kailyn… In early October, sort of out of nowhere, Jenelle addressed Kailyn on social media, asked why Lowry is always talking about her kids (Editor’s Note: She’s not) and made it clear that she was prepared to go after her former friend online. 4. The Attack Commences “I really hope you’re reconnecting with your mom because you f-cking need it,” Evans ranted at Lowry shortly afterward, adding: “You need someone to love you so you can stop fantasizing about other’s lives and putting others down because you don’t have the life you want. Sorry. Hope you find some peace and happiness.” 5. Whatever, Jenelle… “I’m flattered she’s so bothered by me,” Lowry said to Radar Online in response. “She’s gotta calm down. Out of everyone she’s only bothered by me… and I’m not even writing about her.” 6. Passive Aggressive Shade Thrown Considering Jenelle started going off on her around the same time as allegations of domestic abuse against David Eason, Lowry added in this Radar Online chat: “Jenelle only makes a big deal about me when something else is going on underneath it all.” View Slideshow

Briana DeJesus: Jenelle Evans Will NEVER Get Along With Kailyn Lowry! [Exclusive]

Briana DeJesus is like lightning in a bottle. DeJesus breathed new life into the aging Teen Mom 2 franchise when she joined the cast in 2017, an effect that MTV has been unable to reproduce on Teen Mom OG . The reason, of course, is that Bristol Palin and Cheyenne Floyd are not Briana DeJesus. Briana knows how to stir the pot and spill the tea like any good reality star should. In fact, as she proved in a recent exclusive interview with The Hollywood Gossip , the mother of two can deliver the drama even when the cameras aren't rolling. Take a look: 1. Briana Drama Briana spoke exclusively with The Hollywood Gossip this week, and she had much to say about her kids, her new relationship, and her famously volatile co-stars. 2. A Frightening Incident The health and well-being of Briana’s youngest daughter has been a subject of concern for fans ever since little Stella was rushed to a hospital in August. 3. On the Mend Fortunately, the 17-month-old is recovering nicely following a bout with septic arthritis. 4. Making Progress “Stella is definitely ok,” Briana tells THG, adding that her eldest daughter, Nova, loves taking care of her little sis. 5. Team Effort “She gets the common cold here and there but for the most part she’s back to her normal self and nova loves taking care of Stella and making sure she’s OK,” Dejesus adds. 6. Heating Up Back in September, Briana revealed that she’s dating a New York native named Johnny Rodriguez. View Slideshow

Flawless! Michelle Obama Slays In Dior For December’s ELLE Cover

Source: Tom Williams / Getty Former First Lady Michelle Obama is serving up a serious lewk on the December issue of ELLE Magazine ! Rocking a Dior Poplin shirt, pleated-voile skirt and leather corset, our #ForeverFLOTUS looks like a stunning queen. Just take a look for yourself: Amazing! The Harvard and Princeton educated lawyer was interviewed by none other than iconic journalist and talk show host Oprah Winfrey . In a deeply personal and enlightening interview, the two discussed a range of topics including her memoir, overcoming her marriage issues with counseling and how Donald Trump’s birther conspiracies impacted her family. When asked was she scared about sharing so much of her personal life with the public, Mrs. Obama surprisingly replied that she wasn’t. “Actually, no, because here’s the thing that I realized: People always ask me, ‘Why is it that you’re so authentic?’ ‘How is it that people connect to you?” And I think it starts because I like me. I like my story and all the bumps and bruises. That’s what makes me uniquely me.: Adding, “So I’ve always been open with my staff, with young people, with my friends. And the other thing, Oprah: I know that whether we like it or not, Barack and I are role models.”   On how she had to learn to love differently to keep her marriage intact: “I had to learn to love differently, I feel vulnerable all the time, and I had to learn how to express that to my husband, to tap into those parts of me that missed him — and the sadness that came from that — so that he could understand. He didn’t understand distance in the same way. You know, he grew up without his mother in his life for most of his years, and he knew his mother loved him dearly, right? I always thought love was up close. Love is the dinner table, love is consistency, it is presence. So I had to share my vulnerability and also learn to love differently. It was an important part of my journey of becoming. Understanding how to become us…I share this because I know that people look to me and Barack as the ideal relationship. I know there’s #RelationshipGoals out there. But whoa, people, slow down — marriage is hard!” On Trump’s dangerous rhetoric about former President Obama: “Because I don’t think he knew what he was doing. For him it was a game. But the threats that you face as the commander in chief are real. And your children are at risk. In order for my children to have a normal life, even though they had security, they were in the world in a way that we weren’t. To think that some crazed person might be ginned up to think my husband was a threat to the country’s security; and to know that my children, every day, had to go to a school, and soccer games, parties, and travel; to think that this person would not take into account that this was not a game—that’s something that I want the country to understand. I want the country to take this in, in a way I didn’t say out loud, but I am saying now. It was reckless, it put my family in danger, and it wasn’t true. And he knew it wasn’t true.”   On no longer living in the White House and the simple freedoms that come with that: So here I am in my new home, just me and Bo and Sunny, and I do a simple thing. I go downstairs and open the cabinet in my own kitchen—which you don’t do in the White House because there’s always somebody there going, ‘Let me get that. What do you want? What do you need?’—and I made myself toast. Cheese toast. Then I took my toast and I walked out into my backyard. I sat on the stoop, and there were dogs barking in the distance, and I realized Bo and Sunny had really never heard neighbor dogs.   On holding up Barack and combatting the pressures that came with the being the first Black family in the White House: “Trying to be the calm in his swerve. You know, when the leaves are blowing and the wind is rough, being a steady trunk in his life. Family dinners. That was one of the things I brought into the White House—that strict code of, You gotta catch up with us, dude. This is when we’re having dinner. Yes, you’re president, but you can bring your butt from the Oval Office and sit down and talk to your children. Because children bring solace. They let you turn your sights off the issues of the day and focus on saving the tigers. That was one of Malia’s primary goals; she advocated throughout his presidency to make sure the tigers were saved. And hearing about what happened with what school friend. Immersing yourself in the reality and the beauty of your children and your family. Plus, on the East Wing side, our motto was, we have to do everything excellently. If we do something—because the First Lady doesn’t  have  to do anything.”   On the importance of remaining optimistic in these tumultuous times: “Yes. We have to feel that optimism. For the kids. We’re setting the table for them, and we can’t hand them crap. We have to hand them hope. Progress isn’t made through fear. We’re experiencing that right now. Fear is the coward’s way of leadership. But kids are born into this world with a sense of hope and optimism. No matter where they’re from. Or how tough their stories are. They think they can be anything because we tell them that. So we have a responsibility to be optimistic. And to operate in the world in that way.” Just amazing and inspiring! Read the ELLE cover article in its entirety here .
