And great timing, because now we will probably even be here for season 4 of Riverdale — Jughead just wouldn’t have been the same without their real-life chemistry. Ok, it probably would’ve, they’re great actors, but our hearts are very happy. Back in July, multiple reports spread that the Riverdale co-stars called it quits after two years of dating. A source told E! News that they broke up earlier in the summer but “could be heading back in the direction of getting together.” Reinhart and Sprouse both broke their silence on the split rumors by mocking their own cover story from W Magazine . “BREAKING: A reliable source has confirmed that none of you know s–t,” Reinhart wrote in an Instagram alongside the cover photo. She even took to Twitter to share some advice to her followers, saying, “Don’t believe everything you read on the internet, kids.” ‘Reliable source’ can kiss my ass.” she wrote. Jeesh. Life would’ve been much easier if she could’ve just put the rumors to rest and called him her dang “boyfriend” at the time, just sayin’. It’s still unclear what exactly happened between the two earlier this summer, but it’s easy to assume they probably went on a break. Or maybe they never even broke up to begin with? It hasn’t even been two weeks since Raiven Adams and Bear Brown became engaged . But Alaskan Bush People is a very famous show, and with fame come legions of haters and trolls. It was all too much. Raiven and Bear have broken off their engagement and split up. Late Monday night, Raiven Adams took to Instagram to share a heartbreaking message. “It’s been a long battle for me to decide what I should do. What I should say…” Raiven begins. She admits: “I think this life is to much for me.” “The drama, the articles, the harassment,” she lists. Raiven also acknowledges “The mean people who have nothing better to do.” “And due to that,” Raiven writes. “And Several other reasons. She announces: “Me and bear have decided to stay friends.” “Sometimes two people are meant to be in each other’s life….” Raiven expresses. “But,” she adds. “Not the way they thought.” “Wishing the wolf pack all of the best luck on every adventure,” Raiven concludes. You want some tea? We don’t know if it’s quite scalding hot , but take a look. … Gabe Brown “liked” Raiven’s posta bout the breakup. Perhaps he was just being kind, rather than shady towards his brother. But Bear did not “like” it. Bear did take to his own Instagram, at least, to acknowledge what’s going down. “Sometimes people are better off as just friends!” he wrote just a couple of hours after Raiven’s post. Raiven had more to say, however, and on Tuesday, made another post. “Sometimes it’s better to let others assume why something happens,” she begins. It looks like she’s been hearing and reading a lot of “theories” on how her romance with Bear ended. She continues: “because explaining yourself and giving reason isn’t always the best thing to do.” She is absolutely right. Raiven has seen people blame her and label her a ruthless heartbreaker. She’s also seen people blame her sexual orientation — Raiven is pan — which is deeply bigoted. “And,” Raiven writes. “If I have to be the bad guy for the 100 reasons me and bear didn’t work out.” “And me only sharing what I did to respect him and his family,” she continues. Raiven expresses: “then so be it.” “Say what you want at the end of day,” Raiven tells her fans and followers. (But you get the feeling that she is very much speaking to her detractors, as well) “I know what happened,” she concludes. “And that’s enough for me.” It sounds like she’s announcing very firmly that she doesn’t care what people seem to think. They can view her as a heartbreaking jezebel if they like. But, at the same time, Raiven is making sure that everyone realizes that the breakup was for multiple reasons. In fact, she even seems to be suggesting that she’s in some way covering for Bear or sparing him embarrassment. While Raiven won’t be crowned the Queen of Extreme after all, Bear may have hinted at what went down. On Monday, he shared a number of photos that appear to have come from some sort of hotel. Did he and Raiven have a romantic date (away from the homestead) that went wrong somehow? Or did they go someplace private to try to work out their issues, only for it to fail? There are numerous disadvantages to being born into the Duggar family: After all, having your every action dictated by either God or Jim Bob must get pretty old sometime around your teen years, But Duggar-dom has plenty of perks, as well. In case you unaware, the Duggars are rich — really, really rich. And it’s not just reality show money, either. The Duggar empire is a many-tentacled beast. Real estate agencies, car dealerships, local politics — if there’s a way to make money in the state of Arkansas, and the Walton family hasn’t already claimed it for themselves, you can bet the Duggars are taking full advantage. But like every other aspect of life in the Counting On clan, this diversity of business interests is not without its disadvantages. Take Josh Duggar, for example. He’ll never work on TV again, and he’s virtually unemployable following the revelation that he molested five young girls , so at least his father’s wheelings and dealings provide Josh with a way to feed his family. But life for the father of five has been a tangle of lawsuits and legal wranglings ever since he was fired from Counting On . Many of Josh’s legal issues stem from his feeling that he’s the “real” victim in his sex crimes. Josh has sued In Touch Weekly for breaking the story, local police for providing documents in accordance with the tabloid’s FOIA request, and just about everyone else who was in any way involved in news of his crimes going public. But these days, Josh also finds himself in court a lot in connection to his shady business dealings. According to court documents obtained by Radar Online, Josh will soon be forced to stand trial in a lawsuit he’d been working to have dismissed. “The above-captioned cause is hereby set for a three-day jury trial beginning on April 27, 2020 at 8:45 a.m., in Room 208 of the Benton County Courthouse, Bentonville, Arkansas,” the document stated. Josh is being sued by a name Carl Echols for buying land from a third party. The only problem is, the land belonged to Echols and was not up for sale. Echols claims Josh knew this and proceeded with the deal anyway. In other words, Josh (allegedly) went full European settler and this poor fella’s property and basically planted a flag while dude wasn’t home. Yeah, you can’t do that — but it’s the sort of behavior that’s reportedly encouraged by the Duggar patriarch. Insiders say Jim Bob is hated by his neighbors , who believe he’s basically trying to take over the small town of Tontitown, Arkansas, as well as its nearest neighbor, Sprindgale. Several years ago, during her run for Vice President of the United States, Sarah Palin mocked Barack Obama for a platform based on “hope and change.” Now, well over a decade later, however, the unintelligent former politican’s daughter says she is gonna rely on hope in the wake of a major life change: The divorce of her parents. On Monday afternoon, Sarah and Todd Palin announced they were splitting after 31 years of marriage. In documents filed in Anchorage Superior Court late last week, Sarah cited “incompatibility of temperament between the parties such that they find it impossible to live together as husband and wife” as the cause of the split. In other words: These two are totally sick of being married to each other! We’ll refrain from making any jokes here about how it took Todd so long to arrive at such a conclusion. Sarah, of course, rose to national prominence after she was selected by John McCain to serve as his running mate in the 2008 presidential election. The pair lost to Barack Obama and Joe Biden and then Palin resigned as governor of Alaska after just three years in office, in order to focus on a career in media. She served as a Fox News correspondent for awhile and now… just Tweets sometimes, we guess. But daughter Bristol appeared on Dancing with the Stars and also anchored her own short-lived reality show and then actually joined Teen Mom OG last year. We still can’t believe that happened. On Monday morning, meanwhile, Bristol shared on her Instagram Story a sermon from a Texas pastor called “Abounding in Hope,” a reference to a line in the Bible. It’s extremely safe to assume she did so because she knew that news of her parents’ break-up would soon go viral. “When hope is present, people are encouraged to lay hold of what heaven has for them,” Christian Life Austin Pastor Rex Johnson says in the sermon, from March. “Some have referred to hope as the ‘middle sister’ of faith and love,” he also says in it. “I like that.” Sarah and Todd Palin met as high school students in Wasilla, Alaska and eloped in 1988. They five children together, including Bristol — and Todd is seeking joint custody of 11-year old Trig, the only kid who still lives at home. Bristol, for her part, was also once married. She divorced Dakota Meyer in 2018, however, with nearly every moment Bristol spent on screen as a Teen Mom devoted to problems between the then-couple. John Wesley, a long-time actor likely best known for his role on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, died Saturday after a long battle with multiple myeloma. He was 72 years old. Gerry Pass, Wesley’s manager and producer, confirmed this unfortunate news in a statement that read: John Wesley was a gift to the world, for his kindness and grace are immortalized in his works of theatre, TV and film. I am heartbroken to have lost a dear friend today. A veteran of the Vietnam War and a graduate of UCSD with a MFA degree, Wesley had over 100 roles in film and television on his resume… including an episode of the aforementioned sitcom where he played the father of a girl that bullied Will’s cousin, Ashley. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, of course, is the show on which Will Smith for his giant break. Wesley may be a familiar face to almost anyone who has watched television over the past couple decades, however. He also played Mr. Jim, the barber shop owner on Martin and the all-knowing janitor Willie on The Jamie Foxx Show. The actor’s dramatic TV guest roles included appearances on JAG, Hill Street Blues and In the Heat of the Night. Over the course of a very impressive career, Wesley worked with talens such as Denzel Washington, Albert Finney, Barbra Streisand, Tim Burton and Morgan Freeman. Here is a blurry photo of him acting alongside Smith: In the wake of Wesley’s passing, numerous stars, fans and organizations have taken to social media in order to pay tribute to the late actor. “We are honored to have had John Wesley at our festival. Thank you, John,” the Hollywood Women’s Film Festival organization wrote, for example. “We send our love to John’s family and to our beloved Michael Learned, our friend Producer Gerry Pass and the entire cast and crew,” the group added. Rest easy former army veteran may you find peace.” Wesley is survived by his wife, Jenny Houston; his mother, Hazel Baskin; his daughters, Kimiko Kamiel Houston and Kinshasha Houston; stepson, Kyler Richie; nine siblings and seven grandchildren. The rock queen recently did an interview with The New York Times and although she endured a hectic life, she’s now just as carefree as ever. She has a musical about her life headed to Broadway, she’s married to music producer Erwin Bach , and she’s enjoying the fruits of her labor with 10 years of retirement. “I don’t necessarily want to be a ‘strong’ person,’” she told the Times . “I had a terrible life. I just kept going. You just keep going, and you hope that something will come.” Ms. Turner then gestures to her extravagant home in Switzerland, adding, “This came.” Spoken like a true legend. Turner also spoke about her notoriously abusive relationship with the late Ike Turner, shedding insight on how forgiveness manifests for different people. “I don’t know if I could ever forgive all that Ike ever did to me,” Turner said. Then she added, “Ike’s dead. So we don’t have to worry about him.” There you have it. Along with her tips on resilience, Turner also gave tips on just relaxing and doing nothing. Although she had great moments during her 50 years of performing, Turner is enjoying retirement and has no plans to return as a music artist. “I don’t sing. I don’t dance. I don’t dress up,” she said. After a life of pleasing other people, Ms. Turner has no qualms about living a little selfishly in her soon-to-be 80s. “I was just tired of singing and making everybody happy,” she said. “That’s all I’d ever done in my life.” The upcoming Broadway musical, Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, first made its debut in London before coming to the U.S., according to Playbill. Actress Adrienne Warren will reprise the title role and she’ll be joined by Daniel J. Watts as Ike Turner. Acclaimed playwright Katori Hall wrote the book for the show. “Tina is such a powerful being—beyond an icon,” Hall told the cast on their first day of rehearsal. “[Tina] always said she wanted to use the poison that she had to take in her life in order to create medicine for others. I want you guys in this rehearsal to embrace the responsibility. The responsibility of telling this story that is going to transform people.” Tina will explore Ms. Turner’s life from Nutbush, Tennessee to international fame. Performances will start on October 12 at the Lunt-Fortanne Theatre and opening night is November 7.
