Kelly was just denied bond in his Illinois child porn and sex abuse case, and things aren’t looking much better in his simultaneous federal racketeering case. The U.S. Attorney’s Office has asked a judge to deny the disgraced singer bail indefinitely to ensure that he shows up for his trial in Brooklyn, according to court papers obtained by BOSSIP. In a letter to the judge, Richard P. Donoghue, the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, said that Kelly was a major flight risk who was too dangerous to be in public. Donoghue was especially concerned that if he made bail, he’d try to intimidate witnesses in the case. Source: E. JASON WAMBSGANS / Getty He pointed to Kelly’s 2008 state child abuse case and said the “Pied Piper” bribed his alleged victim’s family with $2 million in exchange for her not testifying against him. The prosecutor said Kelly also forced alleged victims to sign documents with false, yet damaging information and threatened to expose the info if they went public. The feds allege that for more than 20 years, Kelly was the head of a criminal enterprise that funneled young girls from around the country to him to be sexually assaulted. Besides racketeering, Kelly was indicted on charges of violating the Mann Act, kidnapping and forced labor. Kelly is expected to be arraigned on those charges in September.

When the world learned that Jenelle Evans had regained custody of her kids , the most common reactions among longtime Teen Mom 2 viewers were as follows: Shock Disgust. Many theorized that it wouldn’t be long before Jenelle and husband David Eason reminded the world of why they were deemed unfit parents in the first place. And many of those skeptics felt they were proven right when Jenelle posted a photo of herself with son Kaiser on Monday. Not just any photo, mind you. In it, mother and son are taking a dip in the backyard pool, though it looks like Kaiser may not be totally thrilled with this. More than a few people online wondered if he wanted to be there at all … or whether he was in grave danger. Look: Evans deleted the pic almost immediately after her Instagram comments section erupted with negative feedback. Some felt that the Teen Mom 2 terror was coercing her son into engaging in an activity that he wasn’t enjoying. That’s the best-case scenario. Others took their accusations a step further and alleged that Jenelle was holding the poor boy underwater. Why? So that she might snap a photo proving how much “fun” he’s having since being returned to his mother? We honestly have no idea, but people weren’t happy and they let her know about it and then some. “Kaiser looks so grumpy he doesn’t look happy,” wrote one Instagram user, stating the obvious. Of course, that was pretty mild compared to what some of Jenelle Evans’ followers had to say. And it was probably the direct allegations of abuse that led the Carolina Hurricane to take the post down. Among those who were unhappy that she regained custody of her kids was Kaiser’s father, Nathan Griffith. Nathan was reportedly an “absolute wreck” after the court’s decision was handed down in Jenelle’s favor. Jenelle’s mother, Barbara Evans, still has custody of her oldest grandchild, 9-year-old Jace, as she always has. Two-year-old Ensley has been removed from her care and returned to the Easons, per the judge’s decision. “The Columbus County judge did a great injustice to these children,” the elder Evans said at the time. “Jace was very upset and didn’t want to go so I didn’t send him back.” Jenelle, of course, was overjoyed by the decision, and she’s repeatedly broadcasted her giddy glee on social media: “I am ecstatic to regain custody of my kids back!” she told People magazine last week after the stunning reversal. “Throughout this long process and final decision, I am excited to be moving forward and continuing to show America I’m a good parent.” Yeah … Many have argued that she’s proven the opposite in the short time that the kids have been back in her care. Whatever the case, the days since the judge’s controversial dismissal have certainly been eventful. Following a police report indicating that she faked the murder of her pet dog as part of a publicity stunt, Jenelle tried to clear the air. This is where Shekinah mentions to Kendra, Sierra, and Bambi that Karlie Redd, read her lie detector test results and it turned out that Pooh lied. Kendra points out that Karlie has a lot of tricks up her sleeves so the papers could have been falsified. However, the general consensus is that Karlie’s results are right and that Pooh is the liar. Next, they get on the topic of Kendra and Koc. Kendra mentions that she moved out of Joc’s house because they’re broken up, but in the same breath, she admits that she misses him. That is enough to put the battery in Shekinah’s back. She wants to be the one to get them back together. Let the scheming begin. Let’s fast forward to Mimi’s girlfriend, Ty and Stevie J. Basically, Ty goes behind Mimi’s back and meets up with Stevie to try to put their issues aside. Remember, Stevie keeps posting shady comments on Ty’s social media, which she and Mimi are not thrilled about. Ty wants to get on the same page with Stevie for Eva’s sake. We all know that trying to have this convo with Stevie is dumb because it just ends up with him being childish. In an interesting twist of things, they end up playing ball. If Stevie wins, Ty wears a mini skirt (it figures), if she wins, he’ll apologize. Ty spanks him, of course. But we know Stevie ain’t about to deliver a sincere apology. Scrapp DeLeon and his business partner are opening up a restaurant and they invite Che Mack, Joc, Che, Scrappy, and Kirk to taste test. But the real point of this scene is for scrappy to reveal to Joc that he heard Kendra saying that she missed Jasiel. We see where this is going so let’s fast forward some more. Now we’re at an “early opening party” for Frost Bistro, Kirk and Rasheeda’s new restaurant. It is here that Shekinah runs into Joc. She feels guilty about Joc and Kendra breaking up because she played a part in the gossip that led to their demise. She apologizes to Joc again but then they devise a plan to get Joc and Kendra together again. Now we’re back with Mimi and Ty, kicking it at home. This is supposed to be their last night together before Ty goes to Vegas for work. Ty explains her previous meeting with Stevie and that he’s coming to their house in a few. Stevie arrives with his wife, Faith Evans, and all four of them sit down and attempt to chat. Stevie offers another non-apology for yet another shady post since the basketball game. Faith even agrees that Stevie tried it, but she married him. This conversation ends with Mimi and Stevie verbally sparring with each other, again. Faith just ends dragging Stevie out of there. Finally, the episode winds down back on Joc’s situation. He shows up to a party where she is, professes his love for her and then proposes. This is enough for Kendra do let go of her anger. She said yes. She claims to now understand that Jacil is for her and he’s ready to be her husband. Then we end the episode with Joc talking about how he’s happy he got Kendra back and how it’s time to trim the fat at the beauty shop so he doesn’t deal with this type of drama again, and then goes the montage with everyone talking about their goals, dreams, etc, summarizing the season. We’ll see them all for the reunion, which will probably be dramaful (yes, dramaful), just the way we like it.
