Image via Getty Atlanta Decriminalized Marijuana Last week the weed smokers in city of Atlanta collectively puffed, puffed and passed as it was announced that the City Council had approved a measure to decriminalized possession of marijuana up to an ounce. Early this morning, those same smokers coughed up a lung when they read their Twitter timelines: Had Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed betrayed his blunt-smokin’ constituents???? No. According to the AJC , an unidentified staffer misread an email and posted a hasty tweet.
