‘He will certainly bring his tremendous talent, creativity and relationships to the Oscars,’ Academy Awards president Tom Sherak says By Kara Warner Brian Grazer Photo: MTV News With all the Oscar news making the rounds this week, you would think that the 84th annual Academy Awards were just around the corner. Luckily, we still have more than three months until the live telecast on February 26, and more than a month until nominations are announced. The latest news coming straight from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is that Brett Ratner, who tendered his resignation on Tuesday, has been replaced with producer Brian Grazer , who will co-produce the telecast with industry veteran Don Mischer. “Brian Grazer is a renowned filmmaker who over the past 25 years has produced a diverse and extraordinary body of work,” Academy president Tom Sherak said in a statement posted on Oscars.org . “He will certainly bring his tremendous talent, creativity and relationships to the Oscars.” “I am thrilled to welcome Brian Grazer as my partner and that we will be collaborating to produce an outstanding show,” echoed Mischer in the statement. “It’s very gratifying to be part of a show that honors excellence in the medium to which I have devoted so much of my career,” said Grazer. “Don is a legend, and I am excited to work with him.” Grazer’s credentials seem a good fit for producing Hollywood’s “biggest night.” He’s been nominated four times (for writing “Splash,” and Best Picture nods for “Apollo 13” and “Frost/Nixon.”) and won the Best Picture Oscar in 2001 for “A Beautiful Mind.” Coincidentally, Grazer has worked with recently resigned host, Eddie Murphy , on “The Nutty Professor” and “Tower Heist.” Rumor has it that the Academy and Grazer hope that Murphy will reconsider his decision not to be involved in the program. GLAAD is like the toughest gang out these days. Just ask Brett Ratner , who got so shook wilson after saying “Rehearsal is for f*gs” that he’s now stepping down from producing for the OSCARS!!! According to TMZ reports : Brett Ratner claims he’s officially “resigned” as producer of the 2012 Academy Awards … after dropping the homophobic F-bomb at a media event Sunday night. Ratner — best known for directing the “Rush Hour” movies — was at a fan Q&A session for “Tower Heist” Sunday when he told the crowd, “Rehearsal is for f*gs.” Now, he’s penned an open letter … apologizing for the “hurtful and stupid things I’ve said” … and adding, “Having love in your heart doesn’t count for much if what comes out of your mouth is ugly and bigoted.” Ratner continued, “Being asked to help put on the Oscar show was the proudest moment of my career. But as painful as this may be for me, it would be worse if my association with the show were to be a distraction from the Academy and the high ideals it represents.” Ratner says he’s been in contact with GLAAD — the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation — and he promises he will work to “increase awareness of the important and troubling issues this episode has raised.” “I deeply regret my actions and I am determined to learn from this experience.” Tom Sherak — the President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences — issued a statement saying, “[Brett] did the right thing for the Academy and for himself.” He added, “Words have meaning, and they have consequences. Brett is a good person, but his comments were unacceptable. We all hope this will be an opportunity to raise awareness about the harm that is caused by reckless and insensitive remarks, regardless of the intent.” Watch a video of the incident in question below: Man… that Velvet Mafia is no joke! Every day there are events that I am not invited to…I’m talking around the globe, events I am left out of, because either people don’t know me, or don’t want me, or forget to include me….From birthday parties, to club nights, to even meetings at the bowling alleys…..and the neglect or rejection reminds me of high school and would hurt me if I actually cared to go…I don’t need your stupid parties…especially not celebrity events…cuz free drink and free food with famous twats hasn’t got shit on couch sitting……and here are some pics of the sluts at the Glamour Gala event I wasn’t invited to… Beverly Johnson and her See Through Shirt…..she’s the first black model to ever be on the cover of American Vogue back in 1974, a 60 year old revolutionary showing off her nipples works for me… Alba in what I thought was some latex fetish suit – you know like a little catholic or AMISH or Mormon orhan you can wipe the cum off role play suit – but turned out to be some sequined shit you’d expect to see on a Golden Girl in 89….proving yet again that starting a family makes a bitch really suck…. J.Lo and her Leg trying to be sexy, forgetting she never was sexy…. That dude from Glee How about some Blondie Deborah Harry turned Whitie……for no reason than to post a bad joke… Chelsea Handler in Some Cat Suit…that hugged her vagina and tits like the whore that she is…..or that she was to get to where she is.
You know what I like about Eva Amurri ….That she gets naked in movies….or TV shows…or really whenever people are willing to pay her to help launch her career and separate herself from her famous parents…. She was SKINNY DIPPING IN CALIFORNICATION , she was TOPLESS AND STRIPPING ON CALIFORNICATION and TOPLESS AND STAGE HUMPING ON CALIFORNICATION …But more importantly she’s busty…..and that busty is natural…but even more importantly, her moms is rich, she could easily, easily live off her trust fund, or use her mom’s money to get educated to become a doctor or scientist who cures cancer…but instead she chooses to get naked on TV….amazing…. Here are some of her twitter pics, blurry sure, expect more out of someone like this, definitely, but I’m willing to enjoy what we get…cuz there’s more of her toplessness coming – I feel it in my groin….but that could just be a prostate issue.

‘We were just like, ‘Oh, I don’t know if this is really what I want to do,’ because it’s a lot,’ Clarkson tells MTV News of the night she won ‘Idol.’ By Christina Garibaldi Kelly Clarkson Photo: MTV News It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost 10 years since Kelly Clarkson was crowned the first winner of “American Idol.” Since then, she has become one of the most successful “Idol” alums ever, releasing five albums (her latest, Stronger, landed the #2 spot on the Billboard albums chart ), winning two Grammy Awards and solidifying herself as a pop diva who belts out powerful breakup anthems . Yet, looking back on that night that America voted her the winner, Clarkson recalls her hesitation in becoming the pop star she always imagined herself to be. “Honestly, even the night I won, I remember Justin [Guarini] and I talking. We were just like, ‘Oh, I don’t know if this is really what I want to do,’ because it’s a lot,” Clarkson revealed to MTV News. “But I just really loved singing, and at the end of the day, it’s worth it.” Clarkson has made the most of her time since that night in 2002, but has this journey been exactly how she pictured it? “Actually, this is exactly what I thought it was gonna be like,” Clarkson said. “I never was that kid that was, like, smoke and mirrors. I knew it was going to be hard work, and I knew there’d be a lot of sacrifice.” Even with all her successes over the years, there have been some low points for Clarkson as well. Prior to the release of her third album, My December, it was publicly known she was at odds with her label over the album. But Clarkson said, if given the opportunity, she wouldn’t change anything about that time in her life or her career. “Not even the crappy stuff,” she said. “Because it all builds your character. It molds you, and you go through it for a reason. No, I wouldn’t change anything.” Now, in between her busy work schedule, the “Mr. Know It All” singer still finds time to watch the show that started it all, but she has yet to watch former “Idol” judge Simon Cowell’s new show, “X Factor.” “I watch all of them,” Clarkson said. “I haven’t seen [‘X Factor’] because I’ve been out of the country, but I watch ‘The Voice,’ I watch ‘American Idol’ — I watch all of it.” What do you think of Kelly Clarkson’s latest album? Maybach Music labelmate Meek Mill would also make the lineup, Wale says of ‘doing something for us and our generation.’ By Rob Markman, with reporting by Sway Calloway Wale Photo: Natasha Chandel/ MTV News Having the support of veteran rappers like Jay-Z and Rick Ross has been helpful for Wale throughout his career, but the relative newcomer hopes to one day band with hip-hop’s next generation of MCs in making their own impact. Wale hit the road with J. Cole and Big Sean a few years back, but for his dream concert run the D.C. rapper hopes to gather some of the game’s newest talent to create a tour that rivals the grandiose concerts of yesteryear. “I’ve been talking to a couple of artists about doing something for us and our generation,” Wale revealed when he appeared on this week’s “RapFix Live.” “Something that feels like the Hard Knock Life Tour, something that feels like the Up in Smoke Tour from back in the day.” On the 1999 Hard Knock Life Tour, Jay-Z hit the road with DMX, Method Man, Redman, Ja Rule and his Roc-A-Fella clique. Similarly, Dr. Dre banded with Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube and Warren G for his 2000 Up in Smoke Tour. Those historic runs have been the “Ambition” MC’s inspiration. “My dream tour would be like, me, Cole, Drake, Sean, Meek,” Wale told “RFL” host Sway. “I think that would be dope, something like that; big venues.” On Tuesday Wale released his sophomore album, Ambition, with Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group. Aside from his current single, “Lotus Flower Bomb,” featuring R&B singer Miguel, Wale collaborates with two of his dream tourmates: Big Sean, on the Diplo-produced “Slight Work,” and Meek on the LP’s title track.
