Megan Fox Must Be Pregnant of the Day

Maybe it is herpes. Maybe it is suicide thanks to her career being over. Or maybe it’s the next best thing to an STD that sticks with you for life that isn’t deadly, but might as well be cuz your life is pretty much over once it’s too late to get a Third Trimester abortion….cuz shit is illegal in America and you don’t trust the medical system in China…. And here’s Megan Fox in pregnant chick pants with a fatter ass that even the security guard was confused about now that she doesn’t have to work anymore cuz she’s recently married to a man with 90210 residual checks because no one wants a kid out of wedlock, except maybe the black chick down the hall, but that bitch is just seriously fertile… That’s not to say she is pregnant, but it is to say it wouldn’t be that much of a stretch since she’s got pretty much nothing else going on and the timing would make sense…ya heard Megan Fox Lawyers who have nothing better to do that to sue me for saying she’s pregnant, since there aren’t many contracts to read… Pics via Fame

Virginia Madsen on Scoundrels, Her Most Disappointing ’60s Experience and Her Lust For ‘Real Men’

After earning an Oscar nomination as the sultry object of a wine aficionado’s affection in Sideways , Virginia Madsen realized that there still weren’t many good film roles left for actresses. That’s why the 80’s sex symbol made the transition from the multiplex to mainstream television, and in her second-ever regular role on a network series, Madsen is tackling one of the biggest challenges of her career: balancing her well-honed dramatic talents while discovering comedy. The satisfying role is courtesy of ABC’ s summer dramedy Scoundrels , where Madsen stars as a headstrong mother of four who is determined to give her family an honest life after her husband (David James Elliott) is sentenced to prison. Last week, Madsen phoned Movieline to explain why actresses are fleeing to television, the time her brain literally exploded, and her secret to great onscreen (and offscreen) chemistry.

Lil Wayne Sentenced To Three Years’ Probation In Arizona Case

Rapper, who is currently serving a yearlong jail term in a separate case, was arrested in 2008 for drugs and a gun on his tour bus. By Jayson Rodriguez Lil Wayne Photo: Bryan Bedder/ Getty Images Lil Wayne was formally sentenced by an Arizona judge to three years’ probation Wednesday (June 30) stemming from a 2008 arrest, when authorities discovered drugs, drug paraphernalia and a firearm aboard the rapper’s tour bus. Wayne is set to begin his probation once he finishes his current yearlong jail term in New York, which was the result of a separate incident. According to Reuters, Wayne appeared before the judge via a video monitor and pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a dangerous drug. Last week, the rapper also made a video-aided court appearance and struck a deal with prosecutors in exchange for leniency in his sentencing. In January 2008, the rapper was charged with felony possession of a narcotic drug for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, misconduct involving weapons and possession of drug paraphernalia after U.S. Border Patrol officials pulled over his tour bus when alerted by drug-sniffing dogs. Marijuana, cocaine and ecstasy, in addition to a registered .40-caliber gun, were all found in the vehicle. The additional charges against Wayne, however, were dropped. Lil Wayne is roughly halfway through his one-year prison term at Rikers Island. The rapper was sentenced in that case to one year in prison after reaching a plea deal for attempted gun possession stemming from a 2007 arrest. James Tilson, who represented Lil Wayne during his Yuma, Arizona, case, told Reuters he was pleased by the verdict, which will allow his client to avoid any jail time. “We’re quite glad that we were able to wrap everything up,” Tilson said. “It’s a favorable plea agreement that will allow Mr. Carter to pursue his career.” Related Photos Lil Wayne Heads To Rikers Island Related Artists Lil Wayne

How Did Eminem’s Recovery Have Such A Big Debut?

Rapper’s more mature style appears to have appealed to wide audience, experts say. By Gil Kaufman Eminem’s Recovery Photo: Interscope At this point, we’re used to Eminem debuting at #1 . After all, he’s done it six times in a row, including two records that sold more than 1 million copies in their first week on the charts. But following last year’s comeback album, Relapse, which sold nearly 2 million copies despite Em admitting that it was not his finest hour , it wasn’t a lock that Recovery would be greeted with the same instant success as the Detroit rapper’s previous work. There were the fans who were turned off by the weird accents he adopted on Relapse, the dark, gory vibe of the campaign promoting that album and the overall grim nature of the music, not to mention the lack of a breakout, signature hit. And while Relapse did very solid business its first week out, with sales topping 608,000, even some experts were surprised when Recovery snagged the year’s highest debut to date , with sales of 741,000 after initial projections had it in the 500,00-600,000 range. In a music industry starved for hits, Recovery became only the third album since 2008 to debut with more than 700,000 copies sold. So how did Eminem do it again? Chalk it up to a killer first single, some clever promotional gimmicks, more visibility for the rapper and a mature attitude that may have broadened his fanbase after a dozen years in the game. “I think for him, [ Relapse ] didn’t connect with his fans the way he wanted it to, so he wasn’t happy with that,” Eminem’s manager, Paul Rosenberg, told The Detroit News on Tuesday. ” Recovery offers more of an emotional connection for listeners. … I think Em made the kind of album that people were waiting for with Recovery. ” From a jokey viral campaign featuring the ShamWow guy appearances on “The Soup,” “The Late Show With David Letterman,” the BET Awards and “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” and a one-page profile in the New York Times Sunday magazine , in which he came out in favor of gay marriage, Eminem has done more press and appearances in the past month for the new album than he did for almost the entire Relapse cycle. The heightened exposure from the typically reclusive rapper has clearly helped keep his name in the news and might have boosted sales. “We sold a ton more of it than the last time,” said Carl Mello, director of purchasing for the 28-store Newbury Comics chain of record stores. “Which is always a surprise in these days, with trends being the way they are.” Mello chalked the big first week up to more crossover airplay and the album’s first single, “Not Afraid,” which he thinks brought more people into the store to buy the album. “On the last one, he would have a single and it would go top five and then disappear. On this one, they actually played it on the radio and there was definitely some anticipation for it.” Mello said the album did much better than he expected in the Newbury stores and had the kind of crossover appeal the rapper hasn’t shown since his heyday in the early 2000s. The album didn’t appear to be affected by leaking two weeks early and, as the News noted, it was the first of Em’s records not to announce itself with a pop-culture-skewering first single like “My Name Is,” “The Real Slim Shady,” “Just Lose It” and “We Made You.” As he typically does, Em offered cryptic details at first about the disc, tweeting in mid-April that he’d tossed the planned Relapse 2 album to work on a new disc. “Not Afraid” hit radio two weeks later and debuted at #1, and within weeks, the album’s cover leaked out , generating more buzz. The grimier “Won’t Back Down” leaked out earlier this month and was used in commercials for the shooter video game “Call of Duty: Black Ops,” and the second official single, the Rihanna-assisted ballad “Love the Way You Lie,” has already hit #1 on the iTunes singles chart, with a video on the way. By going with the pensive, midtempo “Not Afraid” — a serious-minded track in which Marshall Mathers, now 37, ponders his recent problems and tries to connect with fans who have also lived through hard times — as the first single, Entertainment Weekly correspondent Simon Vozick-Levinson said the rapper was signaling he’d turned a corner. While the CD was expected to be big, at a time when even some major career stars are struggling to follow up hit albums (Christina Aguilera, John Mayer, Miley Cyrus), the more robust promotional push and the crucial first single are major factors. “When he put out the last album, people were just getting used to him being back after four or five years away, and he didn’t do many interviews or appearances,” Vozick-Levinson said. “But now he’s out front, doing late-night talk shows and reminding people that he has a new album. He’s put the work in, and it’s paid off. “But he also picked the right first single,” he added. “Last time he came back with singles that didn’t connect with people, and there was no clear idea of why he was back and what he was doing with his career. ‘Not Afraid’ was a smart choice, because it had the message that he’s older and wiser, that he’s grown up with his audience and he’s more mature than in the past.” And while he’s not sure the rest of the album lives up to that standard, Vozick-Levinson said the song clearly connected with Em’s audience, and the not-so-hidden double meaning of the album title was perfect for these tenuous times. “He sent a message that he’s connected with the audience in the way it is packaged too. Recovery has a double meaning about his own sobriety and his own recovery and also about the economic climate. People want to believe in the idea of things getting better and making a fresh start.” Eschewing the traditional violent, sophomoric between-song skits, tapping major stars like Pink and Rihanna and opening up his stable of producers after years of relying on mentor Dr. Dre has also helped Eminem connect to a new generation of hip-hop fans who are used to hearing MCs like Drake and B.o.B chant and sing their choruses in between bars. Though he can’t singlehandedly save the music biz, Vozick-Levinson said what’s good for Eminem is ultimately good for an industry struggling to turn around a nearly decade-long slide in album sales. “You can’t transfer his success to other artists, because he’s always been so unique,” he said. “But it’s good news for the industry that something like this can still happen and blockbuster sales and career artists still exist.” Were you surprised by Eminem’s blockbuster debut? Breitbart Offers $100k For JournoList Archives, Libs Cry ‘Digital McCarthyism’

Andrew Breitbart has arrived at a simply remedy to at least some of the problems that ail contemporary journalism: cold, hard cash. Yesterday he offered $100,000 to anyone who will supply him with the full archive of JournoList, the email listserve that brought down Dave Weigel . “$100,000 is not a lot to spend on the Holy Grail of media bias when there is a country to save, ” Breitbart wrote yesterday. Americans “deserve to know who was colluding against them,” he added, “so that in the future they can better understand how the once-objective media has come to be so corrupted and despised.” And there’s the rub: Breitbart is attempting to out liberal journalists as just that: liberal. His tactics and his objectives have been dubbed by some on the left as ” digital McCarthyism ,” in the words of Michael Roston, “in which any of us could become the next Dave Weigel based not on the public output of our journalism, but based on our private sentiments.” Roston seems less upset about Breitbart’s $100,000 offer than he is about the notion that JournoList emails would be leaked at all. Ezra Klein echoed this misguided outrage when he dubbed the Weigel controversy ” dedicated character assassination .” Let’s be clear: Weigel resigned, he was not fired. Maybe he thought he would no longer be able to cover conservatives effectively after earning their disdain (rightfully, in my mind). Or maybe the Post felt that he had violated their professional standards, and encouraged him to leave. Those were both internal decisions — there was no McCarthyite witch hunt. Indeed, you’ll be hard-pressed to find conservatives who called for Weigel’s resignation, and some of his most vehement defenders were on the right . The outrage over Weigel’s statements was less directed at his personal political views, than at the Post’s decision to hire him to cover the right. As I have written , the issue for most conservatives is not Weigel’s lack of objectivity, but rather the Post’s lack of balance. Weigel was not a counterweight to Ezra Klein. Not even close. There is, however, a group of journalists griping about Weigel’s lack of objectivity, and using it as an occasion to decry the ascendency of opinion journalism. Of the ongoing battle between the self-proclaimed “objective” journalists and opinion reporters such as Klein and Weigel, Ned Resnikoff writes at Salon, It’s not hard to see the implications of this argument for journalism in general. Weigelgate has instigated a long-overdue fight within the bowels of a major newspaper over the relative merits of traditional, self-consciously impartial reporting and opinionated coverage. It’s an old skirmish, but not one that has ever been fought with this level of intensity, before such a wide audience. And perhaps now that it’s out in the open, we can expose the misguided, antiquated ideology its supporters have dubbed “objective journalism” for what it really is. Because, make no mistake, it is an ideology — one predicated on the notion that human beings can educate one another on complex, hotly contested issues without using any sort of subjective or ideology-based language or ordering principle. Maybe this isn’t an unreasonable argument to make a priori, but by now, experience should have taught us that the opposite is true. Human language is too complex, too subjective, and too ambiguous to express non-mathematical propositions in wholly mathematical, objective terms. Human perception is too impressionable and susceptible to self-editing for it to capture, much less perfectly reproduce, a completely unslanted cluster of objective facts. And when journalists behave as if these things are untrue, it distorts their coverage in curious, frequently unacknowledged ways… The solution is to follow the example set by Weigel, Klein, Sargent and countless others: acknowledge your own biases. Disclose them to your audience. Never shy away from advancing an argument that is open to contradictory interpretation, but be prepared to defend it and, when necessary, admit error and adjust your beliefs accordingly. Roston and others on the left have dubbed “McCarthyism” Breitbart’s offer, and the potential that other “objective” journalists could have their biases exposed to the world. But that label seems to assume that a journalist who is outed as a liberal faces any meaningful threat to his or her career. That notion is nothing short of silly. Weigel did not leave the post because he is a liberal. And conservatives did not force him out. Think about those two assertions for a minute. Do some commentators actually believe that a blogger’s lefty views could get him fired from one of the most liberal papers in the nation? Do they actually believe that righty commentators have any say in or sway over the Post’s employment decisions? Did Weigel’s statements offend a great number of conservatives? Absolutely. But since when is offending conservatives a fireable offense at the paper that helped bring down Nixon? This is the same paper that employed extremely liberal reporters such as Carl Bernstein and Dana Milbank. Bernstein is venerated, and Milbank was made a columnist. Liberalism is hardly taboo at the Post. Roston is terribly concerned that “any of us could become the next Dave Weigel based not on the public output of our journalism, but based on our private sentiments.” But that is just the problem, as Breitbart and so many others see it: the 20th century model of journalism promotes a mythical separation between a reporter’s work and his or her private sentiments. As explained above, it is near impossible to avoid injecting one’s own biases into that reporting. Are there journalists who manage it? Of course. But a journalistic model that assumes reporters can do what few actually manage — remain objective, that is — is a dysfunctional model. Decades of stilted journalism have demonstrated that fact. Breitbart is simply exposing that model for the sham that it is.

Megan Fox And Brian Austin Green’s Romance: A Look Back

The actors were married in a secret wedding last week in Hawaii. By Jocelyn Vena Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox Photo: Steve Granitz/ Getty Images Back in 2004, a little-known actress named Megan Fox met former teen heartthrob Brian Austin Green on the set of the sitcom “Hope & Faith,” where they were both guest-starring. It was the start of a love affair that resulted in a secret wedding last Thursday in Hawaii. After dating for two years, despite a 12-year age difference, the pair got engaged in November 2006 . They lived together, along with a potbellied pig, dogs, two cats, two birds and a squirrel. In 2008, Green told TV Guide that they had to make room in their busy work schedules to focus on their relationship. At the time, Fox was an up-and-coming sex symbol and the female lead in “Transformers,” while Green was busy working on the TV series “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.” “We’ve lived together for three years. We have tattoos of each other’s names,” he said in an interview, adding that he also wouldn’t mind having children with his lady. “I would love more kids. Right now, our biggest problem is rescuing pets from pet stores.” Despite a brief breakup in early 2009, the pair got back together and rekindled their flame later that year. Fox would continue to be busy with her career, working on flicks like “Jonah Hex” and “Jennifer’s Body” and continuing to say outlandish things in interviews. She also made sure to talk about her preference for older men like Green. She once noted that she loves Green because “he’s a man. He has an ego.” Shortly after Fox left the “Transformers” franchise and just before the release of “Jonah Hex,” she and Green announced that they had gotten engaged again on June 1 in Hawaii. And while Fox would insist that it was “really not a re-engagement” because their 2006 commitment still held, she did throw off the press by noting hat it would be “years” before she walked down the aisle with Green. “I’m going to be 44 when I get married!” Apparently in Fox’s world, “years” is really only a matter of weeks, and “44” means 24. While we don’t know much about the wedding other than it took place at the Four Seasons Resort on Hawaii’s Big Island and only about half a dozen people were in attendance. It is the first marriage for both. Green has an 8-year-old son, Kassius, from a previous relationship with actress Vanessa Marcil. Kassius gave away his dad at the wedding. If you were as famous as Megan and Brian, would you have a secret wedding or a huge, publicized bash? Talk about it in the comments. Related Photos Love Birds: Megan Fox And Brian Austin Green

Britney Spears’ Next Album Will Be ‘Hard-Hitting,’ Danja Says

The producer reveals he’s in pre-production on pop star’s LP; Darkchild also teases Gaga-esque ‘hits’ for Spears, in new online video. By James Dinh Britney Spears Photo: Jeremy Cowart/ WireImage Britney Spears has kept quiet since wrapping up her Circus Tour, a 97-date extravaganza that took her around the world last year. But according to some of the producers helping to prep her next album, it won’t be long before we hear from the pop star again. In fact, a musical storm is brewing, and producer/songwriter Danja told Rap-Up TV of what to expect from Spears’ next project. “We’re getting things together,” Danja revealed. The pair have collaborated on Spears’ last two LPs, and Danja is the man responsible for giving Brit her comeback single “Gimme More.” “I’ve actually been doing tracks that I love, and I can’t wait to go into full production mode, but more or so [we’re in] pre-production than anything,” he said. Asked what direction the pop princess’ material will take, the producer said it was hard to tell; things tended to be unpredictable in the studio. “We can start one way and end up a totally different way, I really don’t know,” Danja told Rap-Up TV. “I’m definitely gonna do my part and try to make it hard-hitting, uptempo, high-energy. That’s what I think we need and that’s what I’m gonna shoot for.” While Danja has worked with the likes of Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado, the producer revealed that the chemistry between him and Spears is “so easy and fun.” “It’s one of the easiest — probably the easiest — sessions I’ve had in my career, so I’m looking forward to getting back in,” he gushed. And after all the commotion that erupted after Spears’ demo version of Lady Gaga’s “Telephone” leaked online, it’s maybe not surprising that Darkchild is also onboard for the singer’s next album. Daily Kos Whacks ‘Eight Most Irritating Conservative Celebrities,’ Demeans Them as No-Talent ‘Rejects’

The conservative newspaper recently made a list of the “Eight Most Irritating Liberal Celebrities.” They were in order, from the top: Roger Ebert, Rosie O’Donnell, Michael Moore, Joy Behar, Janeane Garofalo, Al Gore, Matt Damon, and Robert Redford. Gore’s not quite a match, since he’s not an entertainer. You wouldn’t call his doom-laden slide-show documentary “entertainment.” This list inspired “King One Eye” at the Daily Kos to match that effort with “The Eight More Irritating Conservative Celebrities.” The writer, Mark Howard, also cross-posted at his vicious media-criticism website called News Corpse , where he posts with the byline of “Mark.” He suggested conservative celebrities are all unemployed, no-talent losers: “They ought to think twice before provoking a “Battle of the Irritating Stars.” when they have a far more annoying roster of vexatious celebrities. And it is notable that most of their idols are rejects who have no current career opportunities save for appearances on Fox News and at Tea Parties.” The list: Ben Stein This hybrid actor/pundit’s career was literally built on his being irritating (Bueller?). In the years following that electrifying debut, Stein escalated the breadth of his annoying personality to embrace a free market fantasy that revealed the shallowness of his reputed expertise in economics. Throw in a heap of sexism and a willingness to whore himself out as a spokesperson for disreputable credit schemes and you have a recipe for chronic distemper. Mel Gibson Gibson demonstrated his theatrical gifts early in his career. His roles in “The Year of Living Dangerously” and “Mad Max” proved he could tackle depth, action, and humor. Unfortunately, his filmography after that became an almost non-stop succession of vengeance, violence, and scenery chomping as a stand-in for emoting. But what’s worse was his submersion into cultist Christianity and anti-Antisemitism. Nothing is quite as irritating as overt hate-speech. Chuck Norris Having to watch this no-talent hack embarrass himself through his atrocious movies is bad enough. But having to endure him on the campaign trail is just cruel. His lame attempts to portray Mike Huckabee as a superhero fell as flat as the notion of himself still claiming that mantle despite his advanced age and decrepitude. Stephen Baldwin What can I say? Baldwin was never not irritating. He built on that reputation by starring in unreality shows and begging for donations to “restore” himself from bankruptcy. Clearly Stephen’s brothers hogged all the talent in the family and selfishly left him a miserable loser and a wretched failure. Come to think of it, he may be more pathetic than irritating. Jon Voight This one-hit wonder has managed to keep his name in the papers by having a very public feud with his more famous (and more talented) daughter, Angelina Jolie, and by drinking the Glenn Beck Kool-Aid by the gallon. With a prominent ignorance of history and government, Voight still mouths off about socialist conspiracies and Constitutional abuses that exist only his Beck-infected brain. Dennis Miller One of the saddest stories in the entertainment world is the tale of the once promising newcomer who winds up a pathetic has-been and resorts to desperately grasping for attention by any means he can muster. Even if it means becoming a toady for the likes of Bill O’Reilly and dressing up as a born again neo-con. Miller’s new persona is devoutly conservative, but he retains his penchant for indecipherably obscure references. Listening to him like sitting through a Xenophanic allocution on Byzantine incandescence. Ted Nugent Approaching the nadir of irritatability is the Motor City Jackass himself. Nugent has become a cartoonish proponent of guns and animal massacre. His rants against government spending and social welfare are high decibel testimonials to selfishness and coldhearted disinterest in anyone less fortunate than he is. During the 2008 campaign Nugent brandished machine guns on stage and made obscene threats directed at Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and other Democrats. His behavior crossed the line from irritating to abusive, hostile, and unconscionably grotesque. He concluded with video of former Saturday Night Live star Victoria Jackson . Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Oprah Top Forbes 2010 Celebrity Power List

James Cameron, Sandra Bullock, Britney and Madonna also named most powerful celebs of 2010. By Gil Kaufman Lady Gaga Photo: Noel Vasquez/ Getty Images Lady Gaga has won a lot of accolades during the past year and met some pretty impressive dignitaries , but crashing the Forbes magazine annual World’s Most Powerful Celebrities list puts her in some truly rarified company. The singer, who launched her latest iteration of her never-ending Monster Ball Tour in Montreal on Monday night, debuts on the list this year at #4. She landed there thanks to high marks for her Web visibility (#1 on the list) and a $62 million haul between June 2009 and June 2010, $31 million of which came from touring (after a gross of $95 million), with much of the rest courtesy of deals with Virgin Mobile, Polaroid, Monster Cable and MAC. Gaga joins a top 10 that is dominated by women, including the once-again #1, Oprah Winfrey, who retook her top rank thanks to $315 million in earnings after ceding it last year to Angelina Jolie (now #18). The list ranks celebs based on earnings over the previous 12 months, as well as visibility in print, TV, radio, online and social media. Beyonc
