Because her parents hail from Honduras, and because she has an IQ over 13, one would think America Ferrera would have some very mean things to say about Donald Trump. This is a man, after all, who recently said immigrants are coming to this country to do drugs and to rape our citizens . But Ferrera has taken a different approach when considering Trump’s recent words and actions… and it’s pretty darn awesome. “Dear Donald,” Ferrera wrote as a piece for HuffPost Latino Voices, addressing Trump directly. “You’ve said some pretty offensive things about Latino immigrants recently, and I think they’re worth addressing. Because, you know, this is the United States of America, where I have the right to speak up even if I’m not a billionaire. Isn’t that awesome?” So… did Ferrera go on to slam Trump the way so many celebrities ( such as Cher ) have before her? Nope. She went on to thank Trump for basically taking himself out of the Presidential running in 2016. “Remarks like yours will serve brilliantly to energize Latino voters and increase turnout on election day against you and any other candidate who runs on a platform of hateful rhetoric,” the actress explained. “You are running for President in a country where the Latino population grew by over 49 percent from 2000-2012, while the rest of the country grew by 5.8 percent.” Whoa there, America. Take it easy. Donald Trump is not one to fully grasp the concept of numbers, unless they serve his own narrative. In case he doesn’t understand her point, however, Ferrera went on to make it very clear: “I hope by now you understand that without the Latino vote, there is no chance of you ever winning this election.” Sadly, of course, Trump is currently running second among all Republican hopefuls. It’s not completely out of the realm of possibility that he wins the Republication nomination at least. Which may be the most depressing thing we’ve ever written. Ferrera then wrapped up her speech by quoting Trump’s own words back to him: “No, Mr. Trump, you may not reduce us to drug dealers and rapists. We are moms and dads, sons and daughters. We are valedictorians and honor students. We are college graduates, bankers, police officers, entertainers, teachers, journalists, politicians and we are the future of America.” In light of his immigration comments, Trump has been fired by Macy’s and has had his relationship with NBC severed by the network . When the cast of Saved By the Bell reunited on The Tonight Show back in February, the sight of a very-pregnant Tiffani Thiessen as head cheerleader Kelly Kapowski drew a lot of laughs. Now, that same Bayside bump has resulted in a second bundle of joy for Thiessen and husband Brady Smith. Thiessen shared the photo on the right on Instagram today. She captioned the pic, “Yesterday Harper got a little brother! We are so excited to welcome Holt Fisher Smith. Our perfect sweet little man.” Thiessen and Smith welcomed daughter Harper back in 2010. In the years since, Tiffani has enjoyed a career revival, and we’re not just talking about the renewed nostalgic interest in the show that made her famous. Thiessen was a regular on USA’s White Collar, and she currently hosts Dinner at Tiffani’s on the Cooking Channel. In fact, more than 20 years after the show went off the air, things are going pretty well for the entire cast of Saved By the Bell! Sure, Dustin Diamond is going to jail for stabbing a guy and Lark Voorhies just married a homeless gang member , but…Okay, things are going well for most of the cast. And hey, judging by current trends, Netflix should be announcing a reboot entitled Saved By the Bell…Again! any day now, so they have that to look forward to. In the meantime, congrats to Tiffani and Brady!

By now you’ve probably heard more than a few wacky rumors regarding Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s divorce . There’s been the run-of-the-mill Ben drinks and gambles too much stuff, but there are also some more out-there theories for the tin foil hat crowd. For example, have you heard the one about how Matt Damon drove Jen and Ben apart ? Yup, that’s something people are actually saying. There’s been so much absurd chatter surrounding the end of this marriage that we can’t even pass it all along. (Trust us, most of it isn’t worth your time.) But every once in a while, a gem comes along that’s simply too good to ignore, such as the ridiculous claim made today by the (n)ever-reliable UK tabloid the Sun. Apparently, an insider tells the Sun that Ben has remained friends with Jennifer Lopez in the years since they dated, and Jen 2 (Garner) was initially cool with it. But after Affleck was spotted getting flirty with Lopez at the Oscars , Garner did some digging and discovered that the exes had been spending more time together than she realized. Needless to say, Garner was pissed, and the ensuing argument led to the silent treatment, which was followed by divorce. The Sun even goes so far as to claim that the Bennifer 2.0 breakup is just the first step in Affleck and Lopez getting back together. “Everyone is talking about J-Lo and Ben and saying it’s inevitable they will get together again at some point,” says the insider. “We call them the Richard Burton and Liz Taylor of Hollywood.” Wouldn’t Richard Burton and Liz Taylor be the Richard Burton and Liz Taylor of Hollywood? Anyway, we highly doubt a Lopez-Affleck reunion is in the cards (if for not other reason than J-Lo is already in a serious relationship). As you probably know, in the 24 hours since the world learned that Ben Affleck and Jennifer garner are getting divorced , there’s been no shortage of rumors regarding what exactly tore the couple apart. We’ll probably never know exactly why Ben and Jen split , but all fingers seem to be pointing to Ben as the party responsible. One source claims Ben neglected Jen to focus on his career , but all other insiders who have spoken out say that the problem was basically that Ben was a 42-year-old frat boy. He was a married father of three, yet by all accounts he lived his life like a really depressing episode of Entourage. We don’t know for sure if Ben cheated with Emily Ratajkowski or if his drinking and gambling were as out of hand as several sources have claimed, but apparently whatever bad behavior he was engaging became too much of a strain for Jen to bear. “Ben was essentially her fourth child, and she resented it,” an anonymous source claims. “There was constant pressure on Jen, that she admittedly put on herself, to make sure Ben was on track, not partying or drinking too much. “There were always constant reminders Jen had to give Ben about their kids’ school activities, sports, and their social obligations. “Jen was always taking care of Ben’s needs, and she was the strong one in the relationship. Along the way, Jen realized this, and her needs weren’t being met…Jen is looking forward to the future, and having some much-needed time to herself without worrying about Ben.” Hopefully, for the sake of the celebrity gossip world, this means that Ben being unleashed will result in a binge of boozing, black jacking, and banging the entire cast of the “Blurred Lines” video.
