The Real Housewives of New Jersey try to “Sit Down and Man Up” before the big trip to Napa. Will any of it help them avoid complete and utter disaster? Let’s recap all of the planning meetings of a vacation destined for failure in our THG +/- review. Teresa’s brand just continues to grow. She’s got the books. Now she’s planning on a line of Teresa aprons, her own specialty Bellini and maybe even T’s pasta. Where will it end? This all may be Teresa’s dream but Joe can’t keep his nose out of the middle of it. Minus 10 when he can’t let Teresa get a word in edgewise during her meeting at the winery.

Kate Gosselin Misses Her Old Life, Show

Kate Gosselin’s missing the bygone era when she was a reality TV star traveling the world with her brood, according to a recent Twitter missive. So much so, she even watches old episodes of the old days … we can’t decide if that’s sweetly nostalgic or just sad. The mother of eight Tweeted: “Wow. We all agreed: we miss our show & the adventures and huge opportunities to help and entertain 🙂 others! Why am I watching and crying??!” “We are watching the St Jude’s episode… I am crying… Happy and sad tears… Old episodes of Jon & Kate +8 warms our hearts…” Kate later added. Gosselin’s popularity, once in the celebrity gossip stratosphere, plummeted to the point that a cruise featuring her was axed due to lack of interest. Kate now blogs for the random online site Coupon Cabin dot com. On the plus side, she’s made peace with her ex, and Jon Gosselin even sent her a long-overdue apology for the way he’s behaved over the years. It’s a big night for The Real Housewives of New Jersey and their families as they do “The Jersey Side Step” right out of the state. Can Melissa play to a crowd? Will the Manzo boys stay sober long enough to get some work done? We recap it all in this week’s THG +/- review. We start off small with Kathy heading over to an ice cream store in Paterson to ask them to taste her cookies but she complains when Rich takes over. Minus 8 . If she really didn’t want him to interfere she should have left him at home.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey Recap: Uncivil Unions

This week’s episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, “Uncivil Union,” had nothing to do with the upcoming gay wedding and everything to do with the family drama between friends and siblings … what else is new. We break down all the crass comments and wardrobe disasters in THG’s +/- recap! Caroline’s brother Jaime is getting married to his partner Rich at their place in Chicago which looks like a cross between a Swiss chalet and a miniature golf course. I can’t say I’ve ever seen anything like it but Plus 20 to the happy couple. Too bad the rest of their family and friends can’t follow their example. The dress code for the big day consists of floral prints and pastels and an emphasis on hats for the ladies. Plus 10 because who hasn’t wanted an excuse to wear one of those ridiculous looking English hats.

Let’s assess all the cussing, name calling, and backstabbing in THG +/- review! It looks like no one has talked much since Teresa Guidice’s infamous cookbook came out. Between the digs about her being as Italian as the Olive Garden and rehashing her son’s brilliant idea for a strip car wash, Caroline Manzo is still pretty ticked off.

Khloe Kardashian to PETA: See Ya!

Prepare yourselves for tragic news Khloe Kardashian, readers: you will never see her naked body on a billboard ever again. The reality star announced on her blog yesterday that she was disassociating herself from PETA, following the reveal that the woman behind her sister’s flour bombing last Thursday was Christina Cho , a well-known activist from that organization. “I’ve been a vocal supporter of PETA for a long time but I have also been very vocal about anti-bullying, so this was a huge disappointment for me,” Khloe wrote . “I am absolutely disgusted by their behavior. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and opinions – I personally don’t wear fur but that doesn’t mean I am going to force my views on anyone else, ESPECIALLY by violating them. “I am a very proud sister right now, because Kim handled last week’s incident like a champ. She got cleaned up and was back out there in a matter of minutes. Go Kimmie!” Khloe, of course, posted nude for PETA in December 2008. Millions of people agreed to stop wearing fur if she promised never to do so again.

Teresa Giudice Previews Hurt, Shock to Come on The Real Housewives of New Jersey

The new season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey premieres on April 22, and it will be filled with calm, rational discussions around the dinner table, each week ending in a group hug and a reminder of just why these women are such close friends. JUST KIDDING! Upcoming episodes will be chock full of drama, fighting and “a lot of hurtful and shocking moments,” says Teresa Giudice. The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 4 Preview Always at the center of the action, Giudice tells People she’s “still saddened by what transpired,” a lot of which had to do with sister-in-law Melissa Gorga . “Melissa and I are family and we have our ups and downs just like any family. That is life,” says Giudice , who Gorga believes tried to expose her past as a stripper last year, a past Gorga denies. Teresa adds that her feuds with Jacqueline Laurita and Caroline Manzo will reach a boiling point on season four, as those two “change when the cameras are rolling.” How does Giudice explain her own behavior on the show? I live by a strong set of morals and family values and if I am being attacked I will stick up for myself,” she says. “I am a strong woman and it is important for me to defend my character if it is being assassinated. It was a very difficult to go through and especially hurtful when family is involved.”

Dina Manzo Defends Teresa Giudice, Tells The Truth!

On part two of The Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion special , Caroline Manzo went off on Teresa Giudice for a number of reasons. Among them: Caroline blames her castmate for the disintegrated relationship she has with her sister, Dina. How does Dina feel about this publicized mess? In a new blog entry titled blog post labeled “The Truth!,” this former Real Housewife writes that she wants to “put all this to rest,” and starts by addressing critics: “Just so you know I’ve been offered a SERIOUS amount of money to sell this to many outlets BUT I chose to do it for free here. So all of you who have something to say can shove it.” Alright then. Glad that’s cleared up. But what about Dina’s take on Teresa’s recent behavior, which includes a diss of Caroline in her latest cookbook? “Was it necessary for her to write that stuff in her book? Probably not, but I don’t think it was written with malice either,” Dina said. “So there you have it, Teresa had nothing to do with me staying away from everyone, I even stayed away from her too.” So why did Dina stay away from cast members? “I really wanted to walk away from all of the toxic behavior,” she writes. “I was not into ganging up on anyone… I guess some of the Housewives may have taken that as I think I’m better than them… that couldn’t be further from the truth.” Finally, in relation to her feud with Caroline, Dina is vague: “Feelings did get hurt. I won’t get into them because I have no desire to rehash the past that can only hurt my parents whom I adore… There is no side here, this is a private matter…” Then, of course, Dina closed by plugging Dina’s Party on HGTV.

Dina Manzo Refuses to Take Sides

Teresa Giudice and Caroline Manzo went at it Sunday night, as part of the totally unscripted Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion special . But Dina Manzo – who quit the show two years ago, but remains pals with Teresa and sisters with Caroline – wants to make one thing clear: she has nothing to do with this feud, writing on her Facebook page yesterday: “I’m not involved in their drama, I removed myself from all of that a long time ago but somehow still get dragged in.” But, hey, will Dina piggyback on it and create some headlines for herself anyway? Of course! Somehow claiming she had “no idea” of the “discord” between her sibling and Teresa until “very recently,” Dina tells Us Weekly she’s trying to remain rivalry-free: “I am at a very good place in my life with my foundation, Project Ladybug, helping so many children with cancer and my new show Dina’s Party on HGTV.” Dina simply wishes “all of the girls peace and happiness in their lives” and says of her tiff with Caroline: “To quote a favorite saying of mine, ‘This too shall pass.'” Wow. Did she just make that up? Profound stuff.
