She got into an epic argument with his brother, who was with them on their engagement trip, and a shocking video clip of it has made it way online. Her fiancé’s friends Candace and Patrick flew in from Kentucky and met them there,” her friend told Radar. “They’re married. Nathan was in the military with Patrick.” This being Jenelle Evans , though, drama soon followed. “Jenelle found out that Nathan had paid for their tickets … It was like a free vacation for their friends,” says the source … and the gift didn’t cease there. Well, it finally happened: TMZ is reporting that Nick Cannon filed for divorce from Mariah Carey last month in Los Angeles County court. Carey and Cannon separated back in August following six years of marriage. The cause for their split remains unknown, but several sources have reported that Cannon cheated on Carey on more than one occasion. Insiders claim that Cannon filed papers on December 12. The exact terms of the divorce are not known, but it is believed that Nick and Mariah are ending their marriage amicably and sharing custody of their twins, Morrocan and Monroe. The timing of Cannon’s filing is interesting for a number of reasons. Just days before the legal wheels began to turn, Mariah was three hours late for a taping of the NBC Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting. Sources stated that Mariah blew off the taping because she was deeply involved in discussions with her lawyers regarding her divorce. In addition, Mariah just inked a deal for a lucrative Vegas residency that will make the iconic songstress richer than ever. Did she hold off on signing the papers until her divorce went through?
