Rapper Rick Ross is reportedly doing just fine at the moment, despite suffering a seizure and losing consciousness during a flight today from Fort Lauderdale to Memphis. An onlooker tells TMZ the artist collapsed soon after take-off, as his entourage leaped out of their seats to tell airplane personnel what was going on. A doctor on board proceeded to administer CPR and the jet made an emergency landing. As he was wheeled off in a gurney, sources say Ross started to come around again. Just a couple hours later, he was Tweeting and even claiming he still planned to perform at the FedEx Forum in Memphis. Rumors of Kate Middleton covering Vogue magazine ran rampant last month, but the photo shoot never materialized. Was Queen Elizabeth II responsible for that? Yes and no. The Queen never said anything, but she didn’t have to. Palace insiders say Kate Middleton knows HM would be far from pleased about the Duchess dressing up in haute couture just so Anna Wintour could cash in. “Kate is keenly conscious that while her new grandmother-in-law may not chide her for appearing on a Vogue cover. But she would definitely not be amused,” said a source. “Her Majesty is a genius at making people squirm with simply a look or a ‘tut, tut.’ ” The royal source went on to add that while Kate Middleton and Prince William are free to be interviewed or photographed by whomever they choose, they are trying to downplay the self-promotion of Kate as a fashion or style icon. “They are flattered by the attention but tat’s not what they are about and they take their royal duties far too seriously to, in one sense, trivialize them,” said the insider. The Casey Anthony and Amanda Knox have obvious parallels. Both are attractive white women accused of murder and acquitted after spending years behind bars – in Knox’s case, she was actually convicted first – and who have become national stories (and eviscerated by Nancy Grace ) for better or worse. One area where they differ – to Casey’s detriment, according to her lawyer Jose Baez – is in the parenting department. Amanda alone has that going for her. Baez says he was happy when the Amanda Knox verdict was overturned and she was freed. Having gone through it with Anthony, it brought back memories. “It was a surreal moment … I remembered being in that situation – a young woman’s life hung in the balance, and in a split second, her life was given back to her.” Baez says he felt Amanda’s family played a key role and they should “be applauded” for sticking with their 24-year-old daughter through the entire process. Contrarily, Casey’s parents George and Cindy Anthony did not support her and “hurt her case.” That was even before their shameless Dr. Phil interview , too. In the end, Baez says they’re just a pair of “all-American girls.” A lot of people would likely choose different words, but we suppose that’s true, if only literally. Nancy Grace doesn’t hold back. The news pundit and Dancing With the Stars competitor was not among the many people lauding the Amanda Knox verdict yesterday. Grace’s thoughts on Knox’s conviction (in the 2007 slaying of Meredith Kercher) being overturned? “I think that it was a miscarriage of justice,” she said. Nancy Grace does not hold back when it comes to her favorite cash cows . “I only hope Ms. Knox makes something of her life because she’s certainly been given a second chance. Very few people are given the chance she has been given.” Knox, a University of Washington student who had been studying in Perugia, Italy, faced a sentence of 26 years in prison after being convicted of murder in 2009. Yesterday, an appeals court overturned the 24-year-old’s conviction. Grace did not directly link the Amanda Knox trial to that of another infamous case in which a young woman, Casey Anthony, was controversially cleared of murder. She didn’t have to. On Friday, Judge Belvin Perry ordered the release of the infamous video of Casey Anthony’s reaction to the news of Caylee Anthony’s body being discovered. It had been sealed throughout the trial because another judge had ruled it to be too inflammatory for a jury . But with the trail over, Perry unsealed the tape. “There is no reasonable expectation of privacy in jail,” he ruled, and with the 25-year-old acquitted of murder, ordered the Casey Anthony jail video released. Dancing With the Stars viewers who tuned in last night probably didn’t do so in hopes of seeing a Nancy Grace nipple slip , but that’s reality TV for you. She was clearly spilling out of her dress, although she sought to downplay it today. The 51-year-old told Us Weekly backstage after Monday’s show: “Tonight, when we were doing our hopscotch portion of our dance, there was a little bit of movement but it did not rise to a wardrobe malfunction.” The buxom Casey Anthony hater showed more than she bargained for. As ABC quickly cut away to a static shot of the audience, Grace readjusted her dress and buried her face in partner Tristan MacManus’ shoulder. “On the European version that would be perfectly fine,” host Tom Bergeron joked. “We took every precaution known to man in this dress right here,” Grace said. “I’m talking industrial size precaution.
