Celebrate Your Uniqueness By Buying the Same Glee-Shirts As Your Classmates! At Macy’s!

Why let your freak flag fly when you can buy an official Glee T-shirt or hoodie (priced from $19.99-$34.99) at Macy’s with your friends? The partnership between the retail giant and Fox launches this weekend in over 600 stores with Glee -themed window displays. Even though the cast of the Emmy-nominated hit was banned from the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade last year, cast members Kevin McHale, Heather Morris and Jenna Ushkowitz will be on hand Aug. 21 at the Beverly Center location to sign your new apparel. Matthew Morrison’s relatively low-paying contract probably does not stipulate shopping-mall appearances. [ NYT ]

Snooki and the Situation Pull Ahead in Jersey Shore Salary Game

Two Jersey Shore cast members are going rogue after their united strike for a pay raise. Snooki, a.k.a. Schnickers, a.k.a. America’s Schneetheart, a.k.a. a talking McNugget from an ’80s McDonald’s commercial , has struck a deal to be paid “substantially more money than before” for the next Jersey Shore half-season. Her co-star, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, is rumored to receive between $27,500 and $45,000 in his special exclusive deal with MTV. That’s a lot of money to work at a t-shirt shop and point at your abdomen. [ TMZ ]

Jersey Shore Pay Raises Secured

All eight boardwalk brawlers on Jersey Shore — from The Situation to Sammi — are reported to earn close to $30,000 an episode for the filming of season “2.5,” which is set to begin shooting this week. The cast members secured the raise after they went on strike yesterday , but honestly, the big bucks should go to the best parts of the show: DJ Pauly D, JWOWW, and the “grenades.” [ THR ]

Stephanie Pratt on Her ‘Real Love,’ Speidi’s Separation and Life After The Hills

Like many reality stars these days, Stephanie Pratt has fought to overcome her own demons. After years of shoplifting, bulimia and substance addiction — some of which was chronicled on MTV’ s The Hills — Stephanie assumed responsibility for her dependencies and became sober. It was a sophisticated journey for a cast member on a reality show that specializes in glamorous simplification — picture-perfect 20-something cast members, glistening shots of the L.A. cityscape and conversations that rarely delve into complex designer names, let alone emotions. But as The Hills winds down its final season, Stephanie — who became a lead cast member this year — has emerged as of one of the show’s most integral and reliable characters. Last week, Stephanie phoned Movieline to discuss the career detour that took her to The Hills , the one cast member she trusts for advice and her strained relationship with her brother.

3 Better Ideas for an LGBT-Based Reality Series Than Logo’s ‘Gay Housewives’

The cast members of Logo’s upcoming “Gay Housewives” series (first called Kept , now called The A List ) comprise a lame procession of models and other, model-shaped people. Former Lance Bass paramour Reichen Lehmkuhl was no more intriguing in 2005 than he is now, and regrettably, the onetime Amazing Race winner is the biggest name slated for the new series. Boring! In 2010, it’s bizarre that a legitimate LGBT -based non-competition reality series has yet to emerge. We’ve thought of three shows we’d love to see in primetime, the kinds of shows that could educate and scintillate.

Cops Beef Up Protection for ‘Jersey Shore’ Crew

Sammi Giancola, Jersey Shore Getting Sued (Again)

The fist-pumping Jersey Shore cast members are under fire again for putting said fists where they don’t belong. Two South Florida attorneys are filing assault charges – not against one of the dudes, but against Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola. No wonder MTV is replacing the cast. The 22-year-old star reportedly got into a fight while at Club Dream on South Beach on May 8. Kristin DeMinco was the woman on the receiving end. DeMinco’s attorneys say she was assaulted and punched twice in the face by Giancola while in the club. “She saw me talking to him,” Deminco said. “Asked why I was talking to her boyfriend. She was jealous I guess that I was talking to him. I was like, you can calm down … we are just talking.” She cleans up nice, but Sammi’s got a temper! Look, you don’t want to even be accused of hitting on Ronnie Magro . “I wasn’t trying to hit on him,” she maintains. “She exchanged bad words at me. I exchanged some bad words back. She hit me twice in the face.” Then the Guidos/ettes who gained reality TV fame in Seaside Heights, N.J., supposedly took part in another fight, getting ’em kicked out of the club. They lawsuit is the latest in what has become a trend of Jersey Shore cast members getting into physical altercations for increased television ratings. Just last week, a New Jersey judge agreed to hear a lawsuit claiming Jersey Shore producers encouraged cast members to provoke fights for publicity. Detestable and possibly criminal? Sure. But entertaining stuff. Season Two premieres July 29! Let the fights and Jersey Shore quotes commence!
