Source: NBC / Getty Luke Perry Cremated And Ashes Spread On Farm Luke Perry ‘s sudden stroke and death at age 52 was shocking to say the least and we’re sure that his family and friends are still reeling from the loss. According to TMZ , Luke wanted to be cremated upon death and his loved ones came together to make it happen. For the past 20 years or so Luke has resided on the 380-acre property in the city of Vanleer, TN and his remains were scattered about the land. As for Luke’s connection to the farm … he bought it in 1995 during the ‘90210’ run. He had just starred in the movie “8 Seconds” where he played a young rodeo champ and developed an interest in cattle raising. That’s when he purchased the farm. Luke’s death certificate shows that his body was transported to Dickson, TN which is only about 13 miles from Vanleer. A private ceremony for friends and family will be held in a few weeks. Rest in peace, Luke Perry.
By now, we’re sure you’ve heard reports about the ongoing feud between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton . Kate and Meg have not addressed the rumors publicly because they’re both royals and grown-ass women, but the British tabloid press has been treating this thing like the Kennedy assassination combined with the Kim Kardashian sex tape. To be clear, we’re not saying the feud reports are completely fabricated. At one point, Kensington Palace issued a statement on the situation, and the virtually-unprecedented move serves as a pretty clear indication that there was some tension between the two at one point. But to be fair, Kate and Meghan find themselves in a position few us could fathom. Imagine if your in-laws were also your co-workers and all of your interactions were scrutinized by the global media. Now you’re getting an idea of the sort of pressure Meghan and Kate are under. Accounts vary with regard to how and when and why the feud began, but as far as we can tell, the duchesses’ relationship exists somewhere on the spectrum between best friends and mortal enemies. And that’s just fine. In the interest of ensuring the situation doesn’t get any worse, Kate and Meg have now decided to put some physical distance between them, and we think the arrangement will benefit everyone involved, particularly as Meghan’s due date approaches. Meghan and Harry have already moved to Frogmore Cottage , which will serve as their residence for the foreseeable future. Now, they’re taking things one step further by breaking up the “court” they shared with Kate and William at Kensington Palace. According to a new report from People magazine, Meghan and Harry will now perform their professional duties in a separate office located at Buckingham Palace. “This long-planned move will ensure that permanent support arrangements for The Duke and Duchess’s work are in place as they start their family and move to their official residence at Frogmore Cottage,” a statement from the palace reads. Naturally, the tabloids are favoring the hot-take approach to this story and portraying it as a calculated power move on Meghan’s part, an attempt to get closer to the Queen. But in all likelihood, she and Kate are both strong personalities who prefer their own space. Perhaps if they were men, they’d be applauded for their ambition. The Houston singer is refusing to hand over documents and private texts between her husband Jay-Z and mother Tina Lawson that the wedding planner believe would help her case. The Blast reports : According to documents obtained by The Blast, Veronica Morales has requested a list of documents and communications from Beyoncé in their trademark battle. Morales wants Beyoncé to turn over all documents showing any evidence she planned to actually use the trademark “Blue Ivy” (since Morales doesn’t believe the singer ever planned to use it) and any samples of her intent to use the name. Morales is also seeking all communications with Jay-Z relating to their 2016 trademark application, any communications of her or Jay-Z knowing about “Blue Ivy” before their daughter was born in February 2012, and any records of convos with Bey and her mother about the mark. Beyoncé has thus far refused to hand over the documents and is demanding a protective order be entered which would prohibit Morales or her legal team from leaking the confidential information. From Jersey Joe to Italian Inmate, the transformation is nearly complete for Joe Giudice. Much to the chagrin of his four daughters. And the apparent delight of his really terrible wife. On Thursday morning, Joe Giudice was released from Allenwood Low Federal Correctional Institution in Pennsylvania after serving his time behind bars for his role in a bankruptcy scheme several years ago. The development was confirmed by his attorney, James Leonard Jr., via the following statement: “Mr. Giudice has finished serving his federal prison sentence and was transferred early this morning from the Bureau of Prisons to a facility in western Pennsylvania which houses immigration detainees. “His lawyers and his family are hopeful that justice will prevail and Mr. Guidice will return home to his wife and four daughters who love him and miss him.” This seems very unlikely to happen, however. Joe is currently in the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). He’s set to be transferred to an immigration detention center, where he will await a ruling about his possible deportation to his native Italy. Back in October, a judge decreed that Joe had lost his right to remain in the United States because he committed a felony as a non-U.S. citizen. As difficult as it may to believe, Joe never bothered to become a citizen, despite having resided in America since his youth. His fate now rest in an appeal that has been filed by his legal team. “We are optimistic that once his appeal is heard, he will receive the appropriate relief and will be able to come home and remain there with his family,” the Giudice family lawyer said in a statement last week, concluding at this time: “They love him, they support him and they miss him tremendously.” This last part is true for Joe’s kids, at least. His daughters have made emotional pleas for their dad to remain in their native country… but Teresa hasn’t sounded quite as passionate. The couple has been married for 19 years, yet Teresa isn’t even considering the notion of moving to Italy with Joe. “I mean, unless my kids say, ‘Mommy, I want to move to Italy,'” she told Andy Cohen last week. She then elaborated, in rather cold fashion: “It’s like starting a whole new life. And they’ve been through so much already. So, I mean, I’m not doing a long-distance relationship. I’m just not doing it. I want somebody with me every day. “I know exactly what happens, I’m sure he’ll be with other women. It happens. We do the long-distance thing? It’s not going to work. I’ll be like, ‘Bye bye.'” Bye bye . Those are the harsh words Teresa has on the subject of leaving her husband, which has earned her the ire of some social media users and co-stars. There’s been chatter that Teresa has met with a divorce attorney already, along with Bravo producers as she pitches them a spinoff about her oh-so-challenging life as a new single mother. But those negotiations may need to be put on hold while Joe’s future is decided. He could remain in ICE custody for up to a year while his appeal process plays out. “Joe isn’t going to go down without a fight and is going to appeal the decision,” a source told Us Weekly in October ahead of Giudice’s appeal filing. “This isn’t over, not by a long shot.” Which is really too bad. Yes, despite the fact that the royal family has managed to keep Meghan Markle’s due date under wraps, all signs indicate that the Duchess of Sussex has entered final preparation mode. We’re referring to Meghan’s wicked half-sister, Samantha Markle, and her father, Thomas Markle, who’s either just as bad as Samantha or another victim of manipulative machinations. Whatever the case, it seems Meghan is eager to make peace with her two douchiest relatives before the baby arrives. “Meghan’s family is well aware that she has always been busy and have always supported her efforts in the past, despite it leaving her little time to spend with them,” a source close to the situation tells the Daily Mail. “Her royal duties have kept her incredibly busy and she takes her new responsibilities very seriously.” Yes, despite the fact that Meghan’s family is objectively awful , and Samantha has made it her express goal to humiliate and destroy her sister, the duchess has decided to be the bigger person and accept some of the blame for their beef. It’s that not a prime example of character befitting a royal, we don’t know what is. The insider goes on to say that Meghan believes (or at least pretends to believe) that the media is partly to blame for Samantha and Thomas’ actions, as the two of them crumbled under the pressure of global scrutiny. “Meghan understands the pressures of intense media scrutiny and she is saddened by what her family have had to endure,” the insider tells the Mail. (This justification doesn’t really hold up when you consider the extent to which Thomas and Samantha have courted media attention, but hey, Meg’s probably just saying what she needs to say to bring her family back together.) “She plans to extend an olive branch to the family and invite them to visit after the baby is born – her sister [Samantha] included,” the source says. “Meghan hopes and prays that the baby will bring her family back together.” Frankly, we’re of the opinion that Samantha doesn’t deserve a second chance, particularly as it seems she’s been engaging in this sort of petty, malicious behavior her entire life. The future newlyweds are paired in a home with their loved ones and Tracy McMillan, a relationship expert who challenges the couples to find middle ground before their wedding day. You may know Tracy through her work. She penned a viral article seven years ago titled “Why You’re Not Married” that solidified her as an expert. We caught up with Tracy ahead of the premiere and she gave us some insight, tips and advice on relationships. HelloBeautiful: Tell us about Family Or Fiancé? Tracy McMillan: These couples are amazing and you may not relate to every couple’s journey, but you’re going to relate to somebody in that family because you’ve been on one side of this before. TM: I meet with them every morning and I give them things to do that first of all are going to help. One of the things that we do quite often on the show is play 20 questions. he family members will write down the questions that they want to know the answers to and then the other person has to answer it. And it’s anything from ‘have you been faithful’ to ‘what would you do if the baby mama came for some child support and that part of that was your money?’ HB: What can the everyday couple do as an exercise? TM: We’ll have the mom and the new daughter-in-law cook a meal together. When you have to cooperate with somebody, you find out really quickly whether that person is kind of really openhearted toward you or is this just like a lot of power struggle? HB: Which family member is the most problematic? TM: Mama is the most committed to a point of view. She’s the least likely to just go, ‘okay, it’s fine.’ She’s not just going to go along with something. She has a strong feeling, she becomes mama bear. You know? So it’s not that she’s a problematic, it’s that she her feelings on the strongest, she got the biggest investment. HB: You went viral for your piece “Why You’re Not Married,” what was the story about? TM: Marriage is a spiritual path and if your focus is on getting something you want or you’re going to get a big wedding or you’re going to get a white dress and like marriage isn’t really going to change your life, you’re just going to be you at twice as much laundry in that it’s really about giving and receiving love. Why should I have these problems? This is a place where you practice loving. It’s not a place where you go to feel good and get what you want. That’s not why that other person is in that relationship to give you what you want and make you feel good. So a lot of times when people, when it stops feeling good after like the first nine months or a year, then like, yeah, I don’t think this is working. In fact, it’s, it’s working to grow you up that cause that’s what it, that’s what a relationship is all about. It’s about growing as a human. HB: What advice do you give couples coming off the honeymoon phase? TM: The thing about coming out of the honeymoon phase is first of all, to know when you’re in one and that it’s going to end. So even when you’re in it, you got to know it’s going to end. So when it ends, it’s like coming up and moving. So I brought out the airport and so it’s not like, oh shit, what just happened? It’s more like, I know it’s going to be a very different pace than this first part. It’s not going to be as easy. Relationships bring up every unresolved thing. And that starts to happen right after the honeymoon phase. So whatever you’ve got going on, whatever you brought in from childhood, it’s going to get triggered, it’s going to get triggered and then you’re going to get to deal with that. Over Detained Black Man Cleaning Yard We just wanna live our life, aye-aye, aye-aye, aye-aye… Last week we reported on an incident in Boulder, Colorado where police pulled their guns and detained Black Naropa University student Zayd Atkinson for…picking up trash off his lawn. Today, we get word via DailyCamera that the March for Boulder Police Oversight took place yesterday in which angry community made demands for more transparency in the department. Protesters posted up in front of the Boulder Police Department and made their voice heard. Nami Thompson, who does public policy for the Colorado Public Health Association and helped organize the march, asked attendees to email Boulder City Council and Police Chief Greg Testa with two requests: remove rifles from all police cars and allow people to submit anonymous complaints to the department. “When you’re young and you think of police, you think of justice,” Thompson said to the crowd in front of the police station. “But with Boulder police, it’s about justification.” Bars. Thompson also called to fix all the “broken” body cameras that never seen to be operating when controversial arrests or physical force is used. In addition to demanding that a civilian oversight committee be formed so that the community can police the police. Darren O’Conner, who is part of the Boulder Chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People or NAACP, said that police shouldn’t be policing themselves. “Internal affairs is too internal,” O’Conner said, referencing the police department that handles internal investigations into police conduct or complaints. “(…) These are friends overseeing friends.” At this point, police officers simply cannot be trusted to be honest and forthright without some serious Big Brothering.
