Source: Stefanie Keenan / Getty The Two Parties Seemingly Formed A Relationship That Is Now Being Disputed It appears Fiji Water was getting extra comfortable with their new viral sensation Kelleth Cuthbert, a.k.a. Fiji Water Girl and now she’s suing them dry. Cuthbert was catapulted to fame at this year’s Gold Globe Awards when her good looks and flawless water bottle posing made it’s way into celebrity pictures. Her photobomb status was cemented in awards show history , and Fiji water had a new face to make their product go viral. However, Fiji Water allegedly went too far when they started using life-sized cut-outs of Cuthbert’s image in stores. According to TMZ , Cuthbert is suing Fiji for creating cutouts of her at the Golden Globes without her permission, one of which, ironically, photobombed John Legend at an L.A. grocery store. Cuthbert, whose real name is Kelly Steinbach, said Fiji tried to coax her into signing away her rights. Though she did a mock video with the company, Cuthbert said she never actually inked a real deal, and it was all for show. Steinbach says the cardboard cutouts of herself started showing up around L.A., including the one involving John Legend. She said her viral moment generated up to $12 million in brand exposure, and now she wants in on the cash. Fiji is calling BS though. A rep told TMZ , “This lawsuit is frivolous and entirely without merit. After the Golden Globes social media moment, we negotiated a generous agreement with Ms. Cuthbert that she blatantly violated. We are confident that we will prevail in court. Throughout our history, we have had a sterling reputation working with talent.” Eesh. When friends become enemies. There’s no word on the exact amount Cuthbert is asking for. But hey, you can’t be mad at her for trying to get her paper.

Earlier this week, the rapper announced that he is embarking on the a tour beginning in March, which will also feature his “friends” MIKE, BbyMutha, Na-Kel Smith, LIV.E and Black Noi$e. In addition to the exciting tour announcement, Thebe also released a short film titled  Nowhere Nobody , directed by Naima Ramos-Chapman and Terence Nance. Uum…Okay: Polar Vortex Video Challenges Have People Experimenting In Freezing Weather

Source: Wojtek Zagorski / Getty The polar vortex has been quite offensive these past couple of days. As of Thursday, it’s already taken over a number of states in the U.S. with the Midwest being hit the hardest. According to ABC 6 , some states in this area are experiencing temperatures in the negative 30s, and if you add wind chills to the mix, states like Illinois have experienced weather that feels like negative 57 degrees . According to The New York Times ,  eight weather-related deaths have already been recorded in the Midwest while the east coast isn’t that much safer with cities like New York experiencing single digit temperatures. But despite all this, folks will still find a way to capture the madness on camera. You can blame it on snowed-in boredom or you can blame it on plain curiosity. But whatever the reasoning, people are playing in the snow in the most bizarre and hilarious ways. First, a few people are putting their dogs on the line to test the weather. Some pet owners have been letting their canines out into the cold just to find out if they’d be thrilled for a walk. For many, the answer was a hard no. One Twitter user posted a video of herself soaking a T-shirt then sticking it outside in the cold. The results were a clothing item that could stand on its own after just a little over an hour outside. It’s no joke out here. One of the most viral videos, however, is a challenge that carried over from previous years. People have been boiling water and throwing it into the freezing air, creating a snow-making affect. Peep the slow motion spectacle below.   According to Wired , because the water is so hot, it has enough energy to transition from liquid to gas quickly. When the hot water is projected into the cold air, a few things happen. First, the hot water is making water vapor thanks to evaporation. Second, the water is breaking into smaller blobs of water as it moves through the air. Both the evaporation and smaller blobs cause the water to cool off quickly. In addition to this, the cold air can’t hold a lot of water vapor (which is why the air is much drier in the winter), so the water vapor doesn’t stay in the air, but it condenses out. Viola. Instant snow. People across social media have been trying their luck at the phenomenon whether it be -10 degrees temperatures or -20 degrees  outside. Whatever the case might be, make sure to stay warm and stay safe. The polar vortex will still disrespect you and your entire video.

With this information in mind, it’s pretty safe to assume Bey feels her best when she’s vegan–so why wouldn’t she want all of her fans to feel their best, too? That along with the obvious fact that going vegan is best for all our little animal friends and the planet makes for a pretty good case, but a lot of people still don’t have the discipline or the desire to completely give up meat and all other animal products. Well, Beyoncé has a solution for that: because if anything can make us all go vegan, it’s the promise of some free Jay Z and Beyoncé tickets.  Mrs. Knowles-Carter took to Instagram and posted a picture of her “Greenprint,” which is basically what she does in order to reduce her carbon emissions. For Bey, this means eating a plant-based breakfast and also doing “meatless Mondays”.  Other options on the  Greenprint website  include eating plant-based meals at work, eating two plant-based meals a day, and eating plant-based meals only throughout the week. Like I mentioned before–Beyoncé promoting her healthy lifestyle is great…but what fans are most intrigued by is the caption for this instagram post. The star wrote, “Click the link in my bio for a chance to win tickets to any JAY and/or my shows for life.” You read that right.  Free tickets to any Beyoncé and/or Jay-Z concert FOR. LIFE. Lady Gaga: Tearful Testimony In Kesha Rape Lawsuit Revealed

Back in 2016,  Kesha alleged that she had been raped by Dr. Luke, an A-list music producer who has worked with just about every big name in pop over the course of his career. The allegations never resulted in any criminal charges, but Kesha’s lawsuit against Luke and his subsequent countersuit have led to countless headlines and many hours of sworn testimony. At least two of Luke’s other high-profile collaborators have provided depositions thus far. Back in November, testimony from Katy Perry revealed that while she sympathized with Kesha, she denied the singer’s claims that she had also been raped by Luke . Documents that were unsealed that same week revealed that Lady Gaga provided emotional support to Kesha as she grappled with the decision to go public with her allegations. Gaga’s testimony was made public this week, and while the singer says she was never assaulted by Luke, her sympathy for her fellow abuse survivor is obvious. Before she began her testimony, Gaga’s lawyer revealed that whole episode “has proved to be a trigger event” for her. “[S]he has experienced in the past few hours some PTSD reactions which is causing some trauma and emotional reactivity,” he said. “So she is crying now the record will reflect.” From there, Gaga recounted meeting with Kesha not long after Luke’s alleged attack. “What we discussed was what I recall was her immense sadness and depression and fear,” Gaga recalled. “She was visibly very different than when I had seen her before, and — but I can’t say specifically what exactly we spoke about. I just recall that it was emotional, and I wanted to be there for her.” Gaga went on to reveal what Kesha later told her about the assault. “She told me that he used power and manipulation in some fashion or some type of verbiage,” Gaga recalled. “I am not repeating exactly the words that came out of her mouth, but that he used power and manipulation to control her, and that she had been given a happy pill, that he offered her something and that she took it, and that she woke up and didn’t remember, and that’s what she told me.” Asked if she felt that Kesha’s claims would damage Luke’s reputation, Gaga aptly pointed out that there are bigger things at stake here than one man’s reputation: “Reputation, if you are asking about his reputation in the world, I don’t feel at liberty to speak for the entire world,” the singer stated. “So if you are asking what my view is of his reputation, I made my view of him and his reputation when I saw her in that back room. That was an image that — of something that happened to me, and I felt and knew in my heart that she was telling the truth, and I believe her.” Asked why Kesha would come forward after initially remaining quiet about the alleged assault, Gaga became irate:  “And when this happens in this industry, it is kept extremely secret, and it is compounded by contracts and manipulative power scenarios that actually include this very situation that we are all in right now,” she told the court. “Why on earth would this girl tell the entire world that this happened? Why on earth? Do you know what it’s like for survivors? Colton Underwood Shares Epic Throwback Photo: This is Why I Was a Virgin!

As he’s made clear many times over the past several months, Colton Underwood has never come inside of a woman. But the current star of The Bachelor just made it very clear on Instagram: He has come very far over the years! On Wednesday night, Underwood surprised his 1.1 million followers by sharing a photo of himself from his high school prom, juxtaposed with a photo of himself from a recent night out. As you can see above, Underwood used to be a tad bit awkward back in the day. And that’s probably being generous. “It’s crazy what a tailor and some confidence can do for a person,” Colton penned as a caption to the images, the second of which we’ve posted below. Quite a change, right? Underwood, as you’ve very likely heard, is a virgin. Well, he was a virgin back when that first picture above was snapped — and he stayed that way for many years. However, based on a handful of The Bachelor spoilers we’ve heard about, read and then published, he may have finally gotten it on inside of a Fantasy Suite this season. Speaking to Jimmy Kimmel a little while ago, Underwood said the following about spending an unknown period of time alone with a suitor and, presumably, under the sheets. “I will say the Fantasy Suite was the most pivotal week of my journey…yes I made it to that week,” he tells the talk show host in the following clip: Colton Underwood Strongly Hints That He Busted Inaugural Nut in Fantasy Suite Based on our scouring of the Internet, Underwood actually realizes who he wants to marry immediately after this Fantasy Suite encounter — which is why we really think he’s no longer a virgin. Colton, meanwhile, previously opened up about his transformation from awkward high school student to professional football player, telling The LadyGang podcast that he was referred to as the “ugly duckling” in during his teenage years. “I had curly hair, braces, pimples, you talk about going through puberty and the worst things that go with it, I had it, for sure,” he said. “And then I had a bottom retainer so my lisp was really bad. I still have a minor one when I get really excited.” We feel you, man. High school sort of sucks for this reason. Underwood also told People Magazine last month that it’s taken a long time for him to simply accept himself. “For a long time I was just a football player, but I want people to see me for who I am,” he said of appearing on The Bachelor, adding: “I’m not this perfect dude. I have mistakes and I have flaws but I’m going to grow and get better from it.” As for his persona? NYC Public Housing Residents Prep Rent Strike Amidst Brutal Heating Conditions

Now, plans to go on rent strike are swiftly approaching, according to New York Daily News. Many NYCHA residents are spending their time at home in freezing temperatures as a polar vortex makes it’s way across the U.S. “It’s a disaster,” said 76-year-old Bertha Spivey, a resident of NYCHA’s Soundview Houses in the Bronx. “You can’t take showers or do dishes. We have no heat or hot water. If one goes, both go. It happens every winter for last four years.” Spivey’s neighbor Rachel Jean, 40, said she had to boil water to make it hot and bring some heat into her apartment. “We’re bathing with it,” Jean said. “When the water does come on it’s brown and then it shuts off. I have six kids. We’re just waiting for them to do something.” Tenants at the Queensbridge Houses in Long Island City are tired of waiting for the government to do something. Certain residents have already started laying the groundwork for a major rent strike, which could force NYCHA to make long-neglected repairs. Almost 70 people assembled at the Queensbridge complex on Monday where they received advice from housing advocates and lawyers. Back in 2013, tenants of NYCHA’s Lexington Houses in East Harlem threatened the city with a rent strike after having no gas for more than two weeks. NYCHA made the repairs 24 hours later. “I’m 100% behind a rent strike,” said Brooklyn City Councilman Rafael Espinal Jr. , a candidate for public advocate, who showed up at the rent strike strategy session. “If you’re not getting adequate service you have every right to withhold your rent until the work is done.” A NYCHA spokesman said repair crews arrived at various sites on Wednesday to restore heat. The agency also activated its situation room in Long Island City, Queens to prepare for dangerously low temperatures. Meanwhile, City Hall is trying to convince federal housing officials and a federal judge that NYC is capable of running its own housing system without any takeover from the Trump administration. Last fall, U.S. District Judge William Pauley rejected a settlement between the city and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), saying the federal government was neglecting its responsibilities to NYCHA. Both sides have since been discussing ways to address the various issues NYCHA residents face, including heating problems, mold and dangerous levels of lead. HUD secretary Ben Carson is set to appear in New York on Thursday to make a “huge & historic announcement that will be great news for the residents of @NYCHA,” according to a tweet from Lynne Patton, the head of HUD’s federal housing programs in New Jersey and New York. We’ll find out if they make impactful moves. Or else… They better gear up for that strike.

Jenni Farley Explodes at Roger Mathews, Accuses Husband of Abuse

Jenni Farley has gone off on Roger Mathews. The Jersey Shore star has shared a lengthy, emotional, candid and disturbing letter in which she claims her estranged husband abused her in a variety of verbal and physical ways. This letter comes about six weeks after Farley and Mathews got into such a confrontation that police were called and a restraining order was granted against the latter. Three Months Later… … Farley was granted a order of protection against Mathews after some sort of major fight that ended with the cops talking to both parties. 5. Mathews Then Laid Into Farley He recorded multiple Instagram videos in the wake of their split, blasting Farley while telling his side of the story. “My wife, earlier tonight, we had a disagreement because she’s leaving again tomorrow for work and promised my daughter that she would be hanging out with her all day, whereas my daughter has the flu,” he explained in one of them. 6. Meghan Markle: Forcing Harry to Choose Between Her and His Family?

If you’ve been paying attention to the British tabloid press (our condolences) and its coverage of Meghan Markle, then you’re familiar with this very tired refrain: Meghan is the Diva Duchess ; she’s too American; she’s breaching royal protocol left and right; Kate Middleton is leading the rebellion against her, and so forth … Given Meghan’s status as a “non-traditional” royal (make of that loaded and oft-used phrase what you will), some criticism from the press was to be expected. But for some reason, in recent weeks, outlets like The Sun have really stepped up their anti-Meg trash talk. Part of the reason for that, of course, is the highly-publicized Meghan vs. Kate feud . That conflict has proven popular for at least two reasons: 1. It sells papers (which is a very old-fashioned way of saying it makes for very clickable headlines). 2. The British press recently decided to stop criticizing Kate’s every move, and this situation gives them an opportunity to make things up to their new bestie. The latest anti-Meghan invective alleges that Meghan is interfering with Harry’s loyalty to his family. Specifically, she apparently stands accused of preventing him from upholding his royal duties. Yes, we’ve already been told that Meghan and Kate’s feud is affecting Harry and William’s relationship , now Meg is apparently standing between Harry and the country he holds so dear (insert a million eye-roll emojis). And what indication do we have of this subtle act of treason? Well, it turns out pregnant Meg doesn’t feel like getting drunk with the press. As is customary, numerous reporters and photographers followed Meg and Harry on their recent tour of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and Tonga. However, the couple broke with tradition by failing to host regular cocktail hours for the press. “They basically blanked the media on this tour, which is very short-sighted,” Duncan Larcombe, former royal correspondent for The Sun , tells Page Six . Larcombe goes on to allege that Meg has changed Harry for the worse: “All of Harry’s staff have always thought he was fantastic, but the two of them [together] are high maintenance,” he told the tabloid. “What people love about Harry is that he wears his heart on his sleeve,” Larcombe added. “He’s down to earth, a normal guy trapped in the royal world, and he doesn’t take himself very seriously.
