Source: David Livingston / Getty Matt Barnes Takes Gloria Govan To Court For Violating Restraining Order Things between Matt Barnes and Gloria Govan are U-G-L-Y and there is no need for an alibi as their dislike for one another is not obfuscated in any way, shape, or form. Despite a judge placing Govan under a restraining order, it doesn’t appear that Gloria has much respect for the order. According to The Blast, Matt Barnes is asking that his ex-wife be arrested for blatantly violating the ruling. Lawyers representing both sides took to court on Wednesday to make their case. Barnes’ lawyer stated that Gloria has made unlawful contact with the children 59 times via texts, FaceTimes and a football game appearance since she was banned from their presence. Matt also claims that Gloria is using a tracking app to keep tabs on the kids’ location. Inexplicable, Gloria’s lawyer argued that none of these things necessary constitute a violation of the judge’s order and wants the charges dismissed. Not sure how that works, but good luck with that. Seems like Gloria just needs to accept the fact that she played herself and needs to appear sane and non-hostile in order to potentially have the chance to regain some custody of her children. Source: Dave Kotinsky / Getty Wendy Williams Thanks Fans For Concern Following Weird Behavior If you’ve been watching The Wendy Williams Show recently, you’d know she fractured her arm and missed some shows earlier this week. Trying to power through, Wendy made it to work for the rest of the week after resting on Monday–but many fans noticed that the host was acting really odd during Hot Topics. So odd, in fact, that Wendy’s Youtube channel never uploaded the footage like they usually do. Some of the behavior that has fans concerned–including Williams slurring her words, looking confused, and not being able to properly get her words out–is present in her interview with The Love, which you can watch here. The questionable behavior got fans worried, thinking back to the time that Wendy fainted live on air after behaving in a similar way. The host even brought out a chair for her to sit in while she did “Ask Wendy” with her audience members, raising suspicions that she couldn’t even stand up. I hope @WendyWilliams will be able to really take a break and work on her health over the break. Williams took to Instagram to post both a thank you and an apology to fans: Wendy attributes her slurred speech and slowed reaction time to pain medication for her arm fracture, which she said she’s never taken in her life. She goes on to say that she appreciates everyone’s genuine concern and promises a “better Wendy in 2019.” Feel better, Wendy!
After this season’s debacle, The Voice fans are saying that enough is enough. It’s time for Adam Levine to leave The Voice and never return, longtime fans of the reality singing competition say. The final straw was when he sold out a member of his own team in favor for another. That doesn’t sit well with anyone. DeAndre Nico didn’t make it to the final eight semi-finalists on Season 15 of The Voice . It wasn’t a lack of talent. It wasn’t a lack of effort. If you ask The Voice fans, they’ll tell you that it’s because his coach, Adam Levine, summarily threw him under the bus. When Nico was sick with laryngitis, his own coach urged fans to vote for his other team member instead of for him. While viewers have nothing against 14-year-old Reagan Strange, they can’t help but feel like this was a betrayal. And they’d like to see Levine booted from the show. Adam Levine has tried to smooth ruffled feathers by putting his controversial promotion of Reagan behind him. “It was a strange week, but it’s over now,” Levine said. Levine then tried to affirm: “DeAndre’s my boy.” “I love him,” the Maroon 5 singer insisted. “We talked.” Talking might make Levine feel better, but it doesn’t change what the entire viewing audience saw him do. People definitely asked DeAndre Nico what he thought about being summarily dismissed to give Reagan Strange a boost. “It was just weird because I just felt like, not being rude, I just felt like he sold me out, you know?” Nico said. Yes, we know. “And I just don’t respect it,” Nico admitted. “Just being honest.” That is very reasonable. “We did our job, sick or not,” Nico pointed out. “I just got over laryngitis, and when I came back, I still sang,” Nico continued. He made it clear that nothing held him back from performing. Nico added: “It wasn’t none of that anxiety or none of that stuff.” “I know she’s a little kid, but it’s like man, you could have put in some words for me at all,” Nico lamented. “Like something, something.” He’s right. And audiences see things the same way. The Voice fans took to Twitter to express their disgust with Levine’s behavior. “Do y’all think it’s poetic justice that Adam Levine is a spectator for #VoiceFinale?” one asks. “Is it his fault,” the tweet continues. “Or just the way the cookie crumbled??” “I’ve been boycotting The Voice but I’m watching the finals tonight,” tweets another. “Is anyone surprised that Adam Levine has no one in the finals?” the boycotter asks. “You think that indicates that he’s not a good coach?” they conclude. “Just sayin’…” “I still think, even after all the drama has passed, that Adam should leave The Voice,” yet another fan suggests “The sour taste still hasn’t gone away,” they tweet, referring to Levine’s treatment of Nico. “A great replacement would be Keith Urban,” they claim. “If we could ever get him off tour.” Some would say that adding Keith Urban to a show that already has Blake Shelton would be at least one too many white country dudes. Others would say that it could be the perfect excuse to give Blake the boot. On Wednesday (Dec. 19), the sanctified couple took to Facebook to post a video politely calling out the media for “clowning” them, clarifying who the album is for and what it’s really about. In short, Mr. Mann is clear: This is for folks who “simply want some booty.” “So they talking about like ‘church,’ it’s for Christian people. This is for people who simply wanna get some booty,” he says, pounding his fist on the table. Tamela interjects, providing a more softer perspective,: “This is a love album…” But David isn’t having it: “It’s for when you want get booty…if you married, tear it up. Do what you do.” “But if…some people aren’t married and be tearing it up…saints are tearing it up and they not married,” Tamela reminds him. “Well, we’re not talking to y’all,” he replied looking into the camera, but he clarifies that “the album is not just for Christian couples. Source: Mihajlo Maricic / EyeEm / Getty Mother Shoots Daughter For Calling Police On Her During Dispute A mother in Washington state fatally shot her 14-year-old daughter as the teenager was calling 911 for help, according to authorities. The girl was on the phone with a dispatcher on Tuesday night when the operator reportedly heard someone say the words “you called 911” and “blow your head off,” according to the police report obtained by ABC News . After that, the operator heard a loud bang and some screams that indicated someone had died. The daughter, identified by KIRO 7 as Natalie Gulizia, was shot in the head by mother Svetlana Laurel, according to the Renton Police Department. The slaying took place at the Renton home of Laurel’s former husband Michael Gulizia, who had custody of Natalie. Michael Gulizia had returned to the home with his daughter to find his ex-wife, who had tied up their 12-year-old son. Natalie then went upstairs to try to call for help, but was still being followed by her mother. Michael Gulizia told police he heard “the sound of a single gunshot” upstairs, according to KOMO News. Investigators say that Laurel went back downstairs and tried to shoot her ex-husband. “The gun failed to fire, with Svetlana struggling to clear the malfunction in the pistol,” read court documents. Michael Gulizia then “rammed Svetlana into the wall with his shoulder, and was able to grab the pistol.” Michael Gulizia held his ex-wife until police arrived on the scene. Natalie’s body was found upstairs. Svetlana Laurel has been charged with first-degree murder.
