A week after the stunning death of Harry Anderson , we can now say with certainty why the actor passed away. As previously reported, the beloved Night Court star and talented musician passed away at his home in North Carolina last Monday morning. The sad news was confirmed by Anderson’s son, with authorities at the time saying no foul play was suspected. Now, however, TMZ has obtained the star’s official death certificate, which confirms the following: Anderson died of a stroke he seems to have suffered the night before his body was found; might have been triggered by the flu and a specific type of heart disease, this document states. To be specific, TMZ reports that Anderson’s primary cause of death was a “cardioembolic cerebrovascular accident.” This is a stroke that is almost always caused by the heart pumping unwanted materials into the brain’s circulation Anderson was sadly dead when paramedics arrived at his home early last week in response to his wife’s 911 call. She told the operator on this call that her husband’s body was cold and that he was unresponsive to CPR. She also mentioned that Anderson had suffered a series of strokes earlier this year, something we were unaware of when we first alerted readers to his passing. Anderson was a three-time Emmy nominee for his role on Night Court, on which he portrayed Judge Harry Stone. The sitcom aired on NBC from 1984 to 1992 and was an early anchor of the network’s Must See TV Thursday night lineup. The actor also memorably showed off his magic skills on Cheers as the recurring conman Harry “The Hat” Gittes, too. After Night Court wrapped up, Anderson nabbed the lead role in Dave’s World, a CBS sitcom based on the work of columnist Dave Barry. It ran for four seasons. Anderson also made eight appearances on Saturday Night Live and on 30 Rock’s Night Court reunion episode in 2008. His last role as an actor was in 2014’s A Matter of Faith. Anderson is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Morgan, and their two kids. Shortly after his death, co-stars and other entertainers jumped on social media to express their condolences. “I interviewed Harry Anderson when I was 15 years old and he was so kind, and frank and hilarious. The interview is in my book Sick In The Head. He was a one of a kind talent who made millions so happy,” director Judd Apatow wrote, for example, adding: “The last time Harry Anderson played Comedy Magic Club, I opened for him. I was asked because I was a big fan. It was a dream come true. I was just there last night and talked about how wonderful his magic was. If you’re not familiar, google him. He was just wonderful. RIP.” Here’s a look at what others had to say: View Slideshow: Harry Anderson: Mourned, Remembered by Hollywood Stars

Earlier this month, Kanye West returned to Twitter . And he’s already getting himself into trouble. If he were just feuding, that would be fine. But instead, he’s making paranoid political statements and seeming to endorse conspiracy theories. Fans worry that he’s unhinged. And, apparently, so does his wife, Kim Kardashian. Honestly, it sounds like Kim’s frustration with Kanye is the most relatable that she has ever been. RadarOnline reports that Kim finds Kanye’s erratic tweets as exasperating as the rest of us do. Their source says: “Kim wants Kanye to shut the f–k up.” That is what the young people would call a big mood . “And she hates the fact that he is rambling all this nonsense on Twitter.” It makes him look unstable. It makes Kim seem nuts for staying with him. And it reflects poorly on the entire family. As you can see, Kanye’s activity on Twitter has people who care about him worried. Some of his paranoid ramblings have even attracted the unenviable attention of the likes of Roseanne Barr. Speaking of inauspicious company, Kanye tweeted nine videos, back to back, of Scott Adams, the creator of Dilbert comics. Adams was once known as a guy who wrote comics about white collar office work. He has since become known for his eccentric or even bizarre political statements. He has a tendency to jump between candidate endorsements and sometimes to state bizarre reasons for doing so. In 2016, he endorsed Hillary Clinton because he “feared for his life,” he endorsed Trump because he admired the man’s “persuasion skills,” and ultimately endorsed Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson. One can see why he and Kanye seem to be a good fit. The source continues to describe Kim’s views of Kanye’s social media antics. “She has begged him to end it before it is too late and he refuses.” He could alienate a lot of people. People expect him to be impulsive, but endorsing conspiracy theories is something else. “Which is only making her so much more upset.” Of course. “She and her family feel like he is coming unhinged again.” Famously, Kanye had a breakdown in late 2016. It, too, was preceded by him making impulsive, outlandish statements. “And that he may be going through another mental meltdown.” That is what a lot of his fans fear, too. Apparently, Kanye “has been acting aloof and delusional lately.” When someone suddenly fixates on conspiracy theories, it could be an academic curiosity. But it can also be a huge red flag that something is wrong. “He is spending more and more time away from Kim and she fears the worst.” Even for a reality star, she’s checking her social media a lot. “Kim feels like she has to constantly check his feed now because no one knows what he is going to do or say next.” So Kanye’s in the same boat as Trump in that respect. “It’s a ticking time bomb.” Kanye confessed to an opioid addiction , but that would not necessarily explain she he thinks that black people protesting for their own rights and lives are “mental slaves.” And what Kanye mistakes for “thought police” are actually just people who think that his opinions suck. Kanye can find plenty of people who love the things that he’s spouting off. What has people worried is that he doesn’t seem to have a filter — even for Kanye — holding him back from tweeting these things that he knows won’t be well-received by his fans, friends, or family. Zero impulse-control (again, even by Kanye standards) could very well be a sign that he is having another breakdown. Endorsing conspiracy theorists and terrible pundits? Well, that might just be a sign of a crappy person. View Slideshow: Kanye West Returns to Twitter, Appears to Shade Tristan Thompson

Rachel Lindsay was The Bachelorette ‘s first black leading lady. A lot of people were troubled that it took until Season 13 for that to happen. Now, Rachel is engaged, but she’s not optimistic about the chances of seeing another black Bachelorette in the near future. Why? Because, well, the viewers are racist. Speaking to Us Weekly , Rachel Lindsay shares her doubts about the next black Bachelorette lead . “I don’t think Bachelor Nation is ready for the diversity of a lead … an African American lead.” That is … so heartbreaking to hear. Rachel does clarify that she thinks that there will be leads of color in the future, but she says: “I think there’ll be an [African American] man before there’ll be another woman.” That is, unfortunately, what happens in a culture where white (among other things) is treated as “default.” Her fiancee, Bryan Abasolo, adds: “I think there definitely needs to be more diversity on the show.” That is something that a number of fans have called four. The surplus of Laurens on the last season of The Bachelor really illustrated how homogenous the casts can be. Bryan says: “Whether America is ready for it, that’s yet to be seen.” Rachel interjects, saying that she has more concerns about the franchise’s fanbase than she does about overall American culture. “It’s not America; it’s Bachelor Nation.” Rachel explains that, even if Arie’s brutal breakup had never happened, whoever would have been the lead in Becca Kufrin’s stead would not have been black. “I don’t think that there would have been two black Bachelorettes in a row.” And she can point to exactly why. “I just don’t think the nation … I mean look at the ratings from the season.” Her season’s ratings, she says, were “significantly lower than Jojo’s.” That is heartbreaking. Rachel says that she didn’t see racist trolling against her on social media … which is totally believable, if she has never once checked her mentions from people she doesn’t already follow. Bryan admits that he “definitely saw it.” “There was a lot of backlash in terms of race for her, and I think she handled herself with such grace and elegance and pride.” Remember, there was even a racist guy on her season — though not for long. “I think she represented the African American community beautifully.” That she did. Racial representation is not and has never been a strong suit of The Bachelor. Are so many members of the Bachelor Nation truly so very racist that they just won’t tune in to watch a black woman find love? We’d love to believe that there’s another culprit. But Rachel brings up a great point. And something has to change. For that matter, many in the Bachelor Nation have wanted diversity in other ways. A Bachelor or Bachelorette. A trans Bachelor or Bachelorette. And let’s not forget that racial diversity isn’t limited to the African American community. Representation is important. As expected, last night’s Teen Mom OG reunion show was loaded with drama, much of it having to do with ongoing questions about Ryan Edwards’ sobriety. But while Ryan’s situation may have dominated the tabloid headlines in recent weeks, he’s certainly not the only member of the TMOG cast to grapple with personal demons this season. Catelyn Lowell checked into rehab three times over the course of the past year. Unlike Ryan, however, her primary battle was not with substances but with mental illness. Lowell opened up about experiencing suicidal thoughts prior to seeking treatment in November, and during her interview with Dr. Drew that aired last night, she revealed that her situation has improved dramatically in recent months. “If I don’t go somewhere else today, I’m going to off myself and life would be 10 times better,” Catelynn said, recalling her lowest point. “I could picture myself driving into an electrical pole off the road, praying it would kill me. But I wouldn’t do it because I had my kid in the backseat.” These days, Catelynn says, her life is not without its struggles, but changes in her diagnosis ( Lowell suffers from PTSD ) and her medications have left her feeling that she’s equipped to handle the ups and downs. Lowell also says she’s quit pot for good after being advised that the use of recreational drugs might have exacerbated her condition in the past. For his part, Tyler said he still smokes occasionally but was quick to add that he never gets high in his wife’s presence. “I don’t smoke around her,” Tyler told Dr. Drew. Lowell stated in several recent interviews that Tyler has been endlessly supportive throughout her recent struggles. The segment ended with more good news for the Baltierra clan, as Tyler’s troubled father, Butch Baltierra , joined the proceedings via Skype and informed the audience that he’s been sober ever since completing rehab back in November. It was a bittersweet interview, with Lowell addressing the subject of her miscarriage and fighting tears while discussing the “emotional year” that threatened to tear her family apart. But Catelynn and Tyler survived, in part thanks to their love for one another. Yes, Ryan’s recent bad behavior may make for more scandalous television, but thankfully TMOG viewers seem more interested in celebrating the casts’ successes than in gawking at their misfortunes. Watch Teen Mom OG online for more on Catelynn’s courageous struggle. View Slideshow: Catelynn Lowell Checks into Rehab AGAIN: What Happened?!
