The singer sat down with “The Breakfast Club,” and touched on everything from her new music to why she continuously stays booked. But, it all popped off after host Charlemagne Tha God asked if the two will put their pettiness aside to reconcile. “On this show, this very show, I was watching like everybody else and I was devastated,” Braxton said referring to a previous “Breakfast Club” interview where Wright stated that her and Braxton weren’t really that close. “We have a mutual friend which is Tiny, and Tamar and I became friends because of Tiny. Everyone needs to pay attention because one day we might look back at this moment as a pivotal moment when the federal government reinvigorated a campaign against Black protesters and activists . According to ForeignPolicy , the FBI’s counterterrorism unit is warning that “black identity extremists” are a major threat to law enforcement officers. They even have a cute acronym for “these types” of people, BIE. Peep the langage used here: “The FBI assesses it is very likely Black Identity Extremist (BIE) perceptions of police brutality against African Americans spurred an increase in premeditated, retaliatory lethal violence against law enforcement and will very likely serve as justification for such violence,” “Perceptions”. PERCEPTIONS. “Perceptions of police brutality against African Americans”…ain’t no “perceptions”, b!tc#! We KNOW the police whoop our azzes just for living. Our collective response to the police shooting death of Michael Brown in Ferguson is the catalyst for the Black boogie men who are taking aim at cops if you let them tell it: “The FBI assesses it is very likely incidents of alleged police abuse against African Americans since then have continued to feed the resurgence in ideologically motivated, violent criminal activity within the BIE movement,” Again, “alleged”. Pay. Attention. The feds are labeling Black folks who are angry at systemic racism as domestic terrorists. Something that the President didn’t do when addressing the tiki-torchers in Charlottesville. You know what America does when they perceive a group of people to be terrorists…at least when they’re Black or brown. Guess they don’t see neo-Nazis and alt-right azzholes in that same light. Imagine that.

In fact some, believe that Harry and Meghan are already engaged and simply have yet to make a formal announcement. So what’s the holdup? Well, it’s important to remember that this is a royal engagement we’re talking about, and while it’s unlikely that Harry will ever take the throne, his marriage is still a matter of interest across the British empire. As a result, Meghan and Harry can’t just post a ring selfie on Facebook and call it a day. Several higher-ups need to sign off on the coupling before any sort of announcement can be made. And as candidates for royal marriage go, Meghan is a bit of a divisive one. To be clear, if there’s any hesitance from Harry’s family, it’s almost certainly not due to Meghan as a person. By all accounts she’s been well received by Harry’s father and brother, as well as by Kate Middleton and the Queen. (Sure, there are those rumors that Camilla Parker Bowles doesn’t like Meghan , but who the hell cares what she thinks, anyway?) There are three main issues that might give royal authorities pause when it comes to signing off on a marriage between Harry and Meghan. For starters, Meghan is American. For royal history buffs the situation might bring to mind that of Wallis Simpson and King Edward VIII. Edward was forced to abdicate the throne in order to marry his American wife in 1936. In that case, however, the issue wasn’t so much that Simpson was American, as there are no clear rules against Royals getting hitched to foreigners. No, the reason Edward was forced to step down was the fact that Simpson was a divorcee … as is Meghan. Markle married Trevor Engelson in 2013, and the actor has already been a bit of a thorn in the royals’ side. Fans of Netflix’s The Crown are likely already familiar with the royal family’s policy on marrying divorcees: It’s strictly forbidden. The show portrays the romance between Princess Margaret, sister of Queen Elizabeth II, and Captain Peter Townsend, a pilot whom she was not allowed to marry because he had been divorced. Recent letters from the time reveal that the Queen would have allowed the marriage if Margaret were willing to give up her rights to succession of the throne. Of course, that was a different time and given a chance to make that decision again, the Queen would probably choose differently. And she’ll likely get a chance to do exactly that in the case of Harry and Meghan. The only other matter that stands in Meghan and Harry’s way–or that would have at one time, anyway–is the fact that Meghan is Catholic. Fortunately, the rule forbidding members of the royal family from marrying Catholics was lifted by the Queen in 2013. The reality star has shared a new Instagram message and photo in which she praises The Big Man Upstairs and, as some may interpret it, confirms that she’s with child. Along with the heart-themed picture above, Khloe wrote the following late this week: Lord, Thank You for giving me the health and strength I need to overcome every stronghold in my life and for loving me unconditionally in the times that I may fail you. Amen Khloe has always been among the more open and honest members of her family. She’s discussed her difficulties conceiving in the past and also been candid about her struggles with weight gain. But this post still represents something new. We can’t think of the last time Khloe cited religion and/or God in such an overt manner. It’s therefore hard not to imagine that this is a veiled reference to the fact that Kardashian is pregnant with her first baby . It would certainly make sense for Khloe to express gratitude toward God under such a circumstance. Not only did she try and fail to get pregnant for many years while married to Lamar Odom… she then had to deal with his drug abuse and infidelity and the couple’s subsequent divorce. Meanwhile, sister Kim Kardashian was happily married with two kids. Kendall Jenner was a successful model, Kylie Jenner (who is also somehow pregnant) started a wildly successful beauty empire. All the while, Khloe was doing just fine for herself, of course. But she may very well have wondered when she would catch her major break. It’s clearly now come in the form of a loyal boyfriend named Tristan Thompson and a tiny boy or a girl in her womb.
