After seeing Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter pile on the PDA at the 2019 VMAs, the world knew that they were still going strong. But what looks like a rebound fling between friends could easily fall apart, right? According to this report, Miley and Kaitlynn don’t have any regrets about their breakups or about getting together. They’ve even moved in together. People spoke to an inside source close to Miley Cyrus to ask about her ongoing relationship with Kaitlynn Carter. “They live together and are very happy,” the insider affirms about Miley and Kaitlynn. The source went on to reveal that “Miley is doing great.” Yes, her relationship with Liam Hemsworth lasted for over a decade, but that’s not holding her back from finding her happiness. “She is moving on,” the insider reports. Miley’s marriage came to an end with a public divorce and then she got into a very public relationship with Kaitlynn. “She seems to have no regrets,” the source assesses. That is wonderful to hear. According to the insider: “She loves being with Kaitlynn.” That much has been very apparent, but that is wonderufl to hear. “Miley is very close with Kaitlynn,” another insider recently told People in a previous report. “It’s romantic, but also a friendship,” the source pointed out. Of course. They were friends before any of this happened. All of the best relationships are like that. “They are both going through similar stuff right now,” the insider acknowledged. Both recently and very publicly split from very serious, committed relationships with handsome men from famous families. “And,” the source concluded, the two of them “are bonding over it.” Officially, Miley and Liam just grew apart and realized that marriage wasn’t right for them, and all of that jazz. You know, the usual publicist default explanation for any split. But Miley’s lyrics at her VMAs performance appeared to throw shade at Liam Hemsworth . At one point, a tweak to the normal lyrics made it appear that she thinks that she’s grown as a person, but he hasn’t. At another point, the lyrics make reference to her not needing “whiskey and pills,” giving the appearance of credence to rumors that Liam’s substance use contributed to the divorce. Interestingly, viewers of The Hills: New Beginnings recently got a hint about Kaitlynn and Brody Jenner’s romantic and sexual past. A recent episode discussed a rumor that the two had been polyamorous in the past, having one or more partners join them. (Or, at least, perhaps being in an open relationship) Some fans have speculated that Miley and Kaitlynn may have hooked up prior to either split — not cheating , but doing so with the consent of their respective partners. If so, that would be great — but not the cause of their breakups. But if that shot-in-the-dark theory is correct, it could explain why the two friends knew right away that they’d be great together as a couple. We have very sad news to report from the world of reality television: Haley Smith, a former American Idol hopeful who advanced to Hollywood back in 2012, was killed this past Saturday morning in Maine after she was involved in a one-vehicle motorcycle crash. The singer was 27 years old. According to authorities, per TMZ, the fatal accident took place in the town of Millinocket. The police say that Smith seemingly failed to make a sharp turn along a residential road that turned into a highway in certain sections. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Smith’s father, Mike, told the aforementioned outlet that his daughter was riding on this country road and her family believes a deer could have caused the crash. Mike also implied Haley was a strong motorcycle driver and doubted that she simply lost control of her bike, for whatever that is worth. It has also been confirmed that the crash occurred around 2 a.m. As for her stint on American Idol? Smith auditioned for the competition in Colorado. She only advanced to the second Hollywood round, yet impressed judges Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler with her folksy version of Chaka Khan’s “Tell Me Something Good.” The Aerosmith frontman said at the time it was an honor to hear Smith sing, adding that she was out of his “era” with her look and sound. “I love your voice so much. You’re right out of my era and I’m honored to be hear listening to your voice,” he said to be exact. The singing competition is heading into its 18th season (its third on ABC) and is scheduled to premiere in 2020. Smith is one of a handful of former American Idol contestants to have passed away since appearing on the series. Paula Goodspeed was the first death to hit close to American Idol when the Season 5 hopeful died from an apparent drug overdose in 2008. In July 2009, Alexis Cohen was killed by a hit-and-run driver in New Jersey. In August 2014, Season 7 finalist Michael Johns passed away due to complications of an undiagnosed heart condition called dilated cardiomyopathy. A few months later, fellow Season 7 competitor Joanne Borgella died from cancer. Then, in May 5, 2016, 36-year-old American Idol Season 2 finalist Rickey Smith was killed by a drunk driver. Tamra Judge has a few things to say about Bethenny Frankel’s recent announcement. The long-time Real Housewives of New York City cast member confirmed two weeks ago that she’s leaving the franchise which made her famous, prompting Judge to react in a way that can be summed up as follows: LOLOLOLOL! With Season 12 of this beloved series nearing production, Frankel told Variety in late August that she was finished with the program in part, she explained, because she wanted to spend more time with daughter Bryn. Here is a portion of Bethenny’s statement on the topic: I have decided to leave the Housewives’franchise to explore my next chapter. It’s time to move on and focus on my daughter, my philanthropy and my production partnership with Mark Burnett, producing and starring in shows which represent a shift in the conversation for women. With the changes in modern culture, I want to highlight the strength, confidence and unstoppable power that women have….I am excited for my future. The best is yet to come. Seems simple and straightforward enough, right? Nope, not according to Judge. In an interview with E!’s The Daily Pop, Judges scoffed at the notion that any star walks away from these Bravo shows for reasons having to do with their families. We’ll let her explain why. “I hate when a housewife either gets fired or says she quits… When they go on record [and] say, ‘I just need to spend time with my kids,’” Judge told the E! show, adding: “[I’m] just like, ‘Really? Because you weren’t spending time because we work three hours a day?’” We gotta admit: that’s a rather great burn and self-own. One must appreciate it any time a reality star admits that he or she barely really works. The Real Housewives of Orange County star didn’t merely trash Bethenny, either. She went on to broadly cite all Housewives who have walked away under the guise of “spending quality time with children” or who have alleged that “the drama is just too much for me” or “I can’t stand the toxic environment.” Judge thinks all these excuses are total and complete BS. According E! host Carissa Culiner, Tamra went on to clarify during the interview that she “just hate[s] it when people aren’t honest about the way they’re leaving the show.” It sounds to us like Judge believes women only leave these shows due to contractual disputes. And sources have actually indicated that Bethenny did want more money from producers for Season 12. She allegedly had a salary figure in mind… executives didn’t meet it… and she then left, with her head held high and many other opportunities available for her to succeed elsewhere. Is this really all that different from what Frankel said in her departure statement? No. But would The Real Housewives be a hit if stars didn’t slam each other at every opporunity? Also no. It’s been a few months since we last heard from Thomas Markle. In case you were wondering, however, the bitter father of Meghan did not exactly change his angry tune during this mini media hiatus. He still wants to know if he’ll ever meet his grandson , Archie — and he still thinks the Duchess of Sussex totally sucks for keeping the lad away from his grandpa. Speaking to The Mail on Sunday — for the first time since Meghan Markle gave birth — Thomas reiterated several points he’s made before, telling the outlet: He is yet to meet Archie. Meghan won’t return his calls. And this whole situation just stinks, you guys! “I would like them to send me a picture of Archie so I can frame it on my wall beside the one of Meghan,” Thomas said, referring to a photo of himself and his daughter together at a football game. “Isn’t that what any grandfather would want? I’d love to know if he’s got the famous Markle nose,” he added. Thomas, of course, has been estranged from his famous daughter for decades. He’s been living a reclusive existence in Mexico for years, yet he made headlines early last year after confessing that he accepted money from the paparazzi in exchange for letting them take pictures of him. Thomas then suffered some health problems and did not attend the Royal Wedding in May of 2018. Markle now claims that neither Meghan nor Prince Harry reached out to him in the hospital and “never once has Meghan ever asked me how I’m doing. Not then, not since.” He also told the Mail on Sunday that he has apologized many times for staging the photos in the manner described above — and most recently sent Meghan a card for her 38th birthday. The response? Crickets. “I sent her a card via her financial adviser in L.A. but received no acknowledgment,” he told the publication. “I have no idea if she got it.” Thomas has said on numerous occasions that he just wants to be a small part of Meghan’s life, but that the Royal Beauty refuses to give him the proverbial, or actual, time of day. “There was never any problem between Meghan and me until recently,” he continued in this interview, adding: “I’ve stayed quiet because Meghan was pregnant with Archie but I’m speaking out now because they and their PR people are continuing to ghost me out of her life.” Does he hope to someday see and interact with his is grandson? D’uh! “Of course, I’m disappointed not to see Archie,” he continued. “I had hoped becoming a mother would mellow Meghan and she would reach out.” Meghan and Harry are both well-known for their humanitarian efforts. They’re considered an especially charitable and giving couple, but Thomas thinks the twosome have failed to live up to this billing. “Everyone raves about how gracious and wonderful they are, but they are not wonderful to their own family. That’s hypocritical,” he said simply. “You can’t portray yourself as being charitable and bringing people together and then ghost your own father and your entire family. Amber Portwood has spoken out for the first time since her arrest for domestic assault on July 5. Like, truly for the first time, we mean. Yes, the troubled Teen Mom OG star has shared the occasional cryptic social media post . But she hasn't directly addressed what went down between her and Andrew Glennon (and their young son, James) during an incident that led to her being charged with THREE felonies. Most specifically, she hasn't directly addressed the accusation that she attacked Glennon and James with a machete… … until now. As part of a Teen Mom reunion special that aired on September 3, Amber spoke to Dr. Drew Pinsky about this arrest and this allegation. Here is what she said: 1. Let’s Go Over the Arrest Again, Shall We? Glennon texted 911 early on the morning of July 5 and told the operator that he thought Portwood really might kill him or little James, who was around 14 months old at the time. 2. Portwood Was Then Arrested The reality TV star was subsequently charged with domestic battery, criminal recklessness committed with a deadly weapon and domestic battery committed in the presence of a child less than 16 years old, per court documents obtained various outlets. 3. What Did She Do? This is the main question, right? Amber has admitted to throwing a shoe at Glennon, but told the police that it barely grazed him. 4. Did She Threaten Suicide? Yes, Glennon has said. He told authorities that Amber actually swallowed a number of Klonopin pills, only to later throw them back up. 5. Amber Has Denied This Claim Not personally. We haven’t heard her say it. But sources have indicated that Portwood denies the suicide/pill allegation. 6. Okay. Now Let’s Discuss the Machete. When Rebecca Crews learned that her husband Terry Crews had been unfaithful, she didn’t find out in some salacious manner. Her story begins the way that many stories of this nature begin: with women’s intuition. “I didn’t have pictures. I didn’t have some skeezer calling me,” the mother of five shared. “It was purely this internal knowledge that we were disconnected.” During season three of OWN’s “Black Love” series, the former reality stars get extremely vulnerable with viewers as they discuss Terry’s addiction to pornography and adulterous affair — something the actor broke down and confessed to his wife after two decades of marriage. Can we start again?’” a teary-eyed Terry recalls in one episode. “But she said don’t come home.” It was a difficult decision that led to a trial separation, but it was one of the best decision’s Rebecca has ever made. “I wasn’t having no parts of reconciliation until my husband came home from rehab,” Rebecca told MadameNoire. Though he was in recovery for addiction to pornography, Rebecca believes that her husband also struggled with another form of addiction. “There is an addiction to the thrill of doing something that is forbidden. Some people are insecure and they want other people to desire them,” she said. “They have this validation issue and there was some of that with my spouse.” When Terry returned from rehab, he was like a different person — much to the astonishment of his wife of twenty-two years. “He was very humble, broken, apologetic,” said Rebecca, “He really had the desire to try and be a better person. He just blew me away with his sincere, religious attempts to prove to me that he was a better person and was going to stay a better person, that he was going to fight this demon with everything in him.” Though the former cosmetologist admits that it took her years to fully trust her husband again, his fervent dedication to the process of getting well eventually won her over. “That’s all that you can ask of somebody is that they choose to get better for themselves. You are then the beneficiary of that,” the Michigan native shared. “There’s no remedy for a guy who doesn’t want to change — except to exit. That can be hard to believe when they are really showing you, ‘We don’t matter enough for me to be different.” While her story had a happy ending, the Michigan native cautioned women against leaving their partners simply to get a reaction out of them. “You have to mean it. It’s not like ‘Oh, I’m going to pretend I’m throwing him out and I’ll see if it acts right after that.’ No, you’ve got to be ready to go alone,” Rebecca advised. “For some reason, I had hit that breaking point and the breaking point for me was 22 years in. I had no idea that my husband would turn his life around, but I had to make the choice that was best for me. And I say that I lucked out because he turned out to be one of the better ones because he shifted his perspective.” Terry’s stint in rehab did not just breathe new life to his dying marriage, it freed him from the shackles of emotional bondage otherwise known as being a Black man in America. “No one tells a little Black boy he can just fall apart and cry,” said Rebecca. “I never saw that man cry. I lost a baby. 6 month pregnant and he didn’t cry. He didn’t cry and I was like, ‘There’s something wrong with you.’” The recovery process, however, caused the floodgates to open. “While he was going through recovery, he cried almost every day,” the former reality television personality shared. “Many men are out of touch with their emotions. They’re not even wondering ‘Why am I doing this?’ That’s something my husband said that he had as an awakening during rehab that he had been kind of walking through life relatively asleep at the wheel, just allowing himself to be pushed and pulled by circumstances and impulsive behavior and never questioning why. As those things began to manifest through the therapy, he cried. He cried all the time.” It’s never easy being the partner of an addict and Rebecca believes that in some ways, she unknowingly enabled Terry in his addiction. “There’s a degree of blindness to the fact that you’re dealing with an addiction. You’re just asking yourself, ‘Why do they act like that? Why do they act like that?’” she shared. “There was a time when Terry was — and I believe this was a reflection of his addiction — he would be irresponsible with our money. I struggled all the time when I had to make calls to one of our creditors, basically pleading for time because he had done something dumb with the money.” She went on: “I remember thinking, stupidly, at the time, that I wasn’t enabling and that I was just keeping things cool so that I didn’t end up getting put out. But looking back, I wish I had let him suffer the consequences of that decision. But because we were all riding on that boat, I think that unwittingly, I was responsible for letting it continue because I didn’t see an alternative other than packing my kids and getting out.” Hindsight, of course, is 20/20 and knowing what she now knows, Rebecca advises anyone dealing with an addicted loved one to allow them to face the music sooner rather than later. “With an addict, I just have to say, the sooner you can put your foot down with them, the sooner you can have peace. And that’s one of the hardest things for us as loving spouses to do is to put that foot and don’t move it,” she said. “Do not tolerate behavior that puts you at ease for the moment but then leaves you in the lurch in the long run.” She adds that this doesn’t mean that you immediately move to divorce; however, things will not change until difficult decisions are made. “If you’re not going to be present, then maybe you should go. If you’re not going to be responsible, we can’t be together. And that doesn’t mean that you go file your papers. The singer wrote approximately 1,000 words on such topics as: His past drug use. How he struggled with such massive wealth and fame at a young age. What it was like to grow up with two young parents. How his marriage to Hailey Baldwin has basically saved his life. Began Bieber in this emotional post: It’s hard to get out of bed in the morning with the right attitude when you are overwhelmed with your life your past, job, responsibilities, emotions, your family, finances, your relationships. When it feels like there’s trouble after trouble after trouble. You start foreseeing the day through lenses of ‘dread’ and anticipate another bad day. A cycle of feeling disappointment after disappointment. Sometimes it can even get to the point where you don’t even want to live anymore. This is heavy stuff, folks. This past May, Bieber wrote at length about his battle with anxiety . He’s very clearly been trying to evolve as a person for a long time now. In this new message, which has obviously gone extremelt viral, the 25-year-old explains that he constantly felt “unfulfilled” despite his nearly unparalleled levels of succeess. He goes on to discuss the pressure felt by child stars, writing how this his entire world “was flipped on its head” at a young age. Here’s more from Justin on the topic: I went from a 13 year old boy from a small town to being praised left and right by the world with millions saying how much they loved me and how great I was. Everyone did everything for me so I never even learned the fundamentals of responsibility. By this point I was 18 with no skills in the real world, with millions of dollars and access to whatever I wanted. This is a very scary concept for anyone. By 20 I made every bad decision you could have thought and went from one of the most loved and adored people in the world to the most ridiculed, judged and hated person in the world! Bieber doesn’t hold back anything here, either. He gets as candid as he’s ever been before. At one point, Bieber addresses his drug use, stating that he he started doing “pretty heavy drugs” at age 19 and “abused all of my relationships.” He also says that he thinks the reason so many artists have turned to drugs is “due to not being able to manage the huge ups and downs that come with being an entertainer.” Another section: I became resentful, disrespectful to women, and angry. I became distant to everyone who loved me, and I was hiding behind, a shell of a person that i had become. I felt like i could never turn it around,” he wrote before reflecting on his relationship with wife Hailey Baldwin Justin continues, trying to take responsibility for many of his former misdeeds: It’s taken me years to bounce back from all of these terrible decisions, fix broken relationships, and change relationship habits.
