While promoting his new memoir “I Can’t Make This Up: Life Lessons,” the comedian told “The Breakfast Club” that he had to get help to curb his temper.
We don’t know your name, Instagram user @a_body_positive_jazzy. But we’d like to give you a standing ovation. Late last week, this aspiring plus-size model shared a photo of herself in a bikini. She’s walking along the beach in the image, holding hands with her very good looking husband and laughing the laugh of someone who is both comfortable and in love. With both herself and the well-defined man at her side. In a lengthy caption written below the romantic snapshot, Jazzy (we’re just gonna call her Jazzy from now on, okay?) gushed over her husband and used their relationship as a way to shoot down all haters, shamers and critics. “Over the years this man has loved every curve, every roll, and every stretch mark on my body. I never understood why,” Jazzy wrote, asking: “How could he love something that isn’t ‘perfect?'” Her husband was “born fit,” Jazzy writes. She readily admits that she was not. “I don’t have a flat stomach, I jiggle when I walk. Hell, if I run up the stairs too fast my body claps (lmao)! “But now I see I do have the ‘perfect’ body.'” Every roll, every curve, and every stretch mark is put on me just perfect to make both of us happy! I love my body, and I finally see why he does too.” Pretty amazing, huh? Awfully inspiring, isn’t it? The photo has been Liked over 60,000 times on Instagram and the positive comments have been rolling in for days. “Love this!! You are beautiful!!! My husband is the same loves every inch of me. And you are in inspiration to myself and so many others,” Instagram user mostly.mom wrote. Added another individual: “Such a beautiful story and beautiful woman. This helps me love my body more.” Jazzy describes herself as a body-positive advocate and acknowledged that a few hateful comments have been sprinkled in with the helpful ones. One user slammed her as a “fat” woman who was promoting being physically unfit, for example. But she responded to this accusation by sharing the following picture… … and writing the following caption to it: To all the haters out there that have been talking about me as if I’m just fat, unhealthy, and not doing nothing about it! Even though I owe you NO type of explanation! I wanted to share with y’all proof that I do go to they gym and I am very healthy!!! Now to the men and women that are body positive along side of me, just because we love our bodies doesn’t mean we can’t take care of our bodies! Loving yourself does not mean that you just let yourself go. When you love yourself truly you want to take care of your body. Good eating habits and exercise are key to staying healthy and hey if that results in weight loss that’s ok and if it doesn’t that’s ok too. But we don’t mind it so much when their “parenting fails” are more run-of-the-mill, you know? Reality personality and noted baby fever experiencer Chelsea Houska has been taking to Twitter to share some of her mistakes. Her most recent “parenting fail” that she’s shared on Twitter is mostly just about a … let’s call it a “chemical interaction.” No, not the dangerous kind. Just messy . “Fresh spray tan + drooling baby = disaster” Babies are so adorable, but they sure do produce a lot of what we’ll tastefully refer to as “substances.” Honestly, drool is the least offensive of those. Honestly, that’s a tip to young moms. You might know to not go out in the rain with fresh spray tan, but you might not think fo the effect that your baby could have. Just a few weeks earlier, she’d shared another of her “parenting fails,” though this time she wasn’t the one most impacted. “Starting this morning off with a mom fail. Totally slept through my alarm and Aubree is late for school. Is it summer vacation yet?!” First of all, sleeping through your alarm is the most normal thing in the world. It sucks when you’re a student, it’s worse when it makes you late for work, but it’s extra bad when you’re a parent letting down your kid. Anybody can sleep through an alarm, and if it’s the parent’s fault that the kid’s late, your kid really doesn’t have anything to worry about unless it’s happening all of the time. It’s worth noting that they make all sorts of creative alarms now that make oversleeping next to impossible. Like, mats that let out wailing noises until you stand on them with both feet. It’s a little extra , as the youths say, but it could be worth it if it’s a recurring problem. There’s a popular Tumblr post in which the blogger muses about why there’s no show call “Teen Dad” or “16 & Got A Girl Pregnant.” The blogger then concludes that a show about a teenage boy sitting around playing video games and hanging out with his friends wouldn’t really hook viewers. It’s the sad reality that childcare is too often left to women, even when they themselves aren’t yet adults. It’s even sadder when you realize that so many teenage mothers are impregnated by not-so-teen fathers. Gross. Getty Image Local Philly Reporter Spits On Comedy Club Manager, Says She Was “Drugged” After Getting FIRED A Philadelphia news reporter is trying to explain herself after acting a damn fool on camera, going to jail and coming out unemployed. Colleen Campbelll was caught on video displaying bizarre behavior outside of a Philadelphia comedy club called Helium. From the video, the 28-year-old seems to have had some trouble with someone inside and was asked to step out. That’s when she started to go off on an officer outside, spewing curse words and daring him to do something. It then looks like she attempted to spit on someone’s face. Thats when the officer had enough and placed her under arrest. According to phillymag.com , Campbell assaulted the officer once again, after the camera cut off. Below is the clip of Colleen Campbell that was viewed over a million times. Wil Sylvince, who shot the clip says: About last night: this very obnoxious lady, who wasn’t drunk (nor high I think) was disturbing the show with her “loud whispering”. After 3 warnings and other customers were complaining she was asked to leave. When she got kicked out she assaulted (kicking, punching, and eye poking) 3 of the employees in bar area right outside the showroom and then outside she mock spit in the mangers face when a cop came. People are pretty shocked by it. CC: That’s not me or how I talk or act or anything at all. I don’t know what to do. I feel ruined and embarrassed for me and my family. PM: I saw your Facebook post where you raised the possibility of having been drugged. Were they able to do any tests to see what might have been in your system? CC: No. The police told me that it would slow the process. But at the police station, they had trouble taking my blood pressure. It was so high. I was worked up. PM: Why would it have slowed the process? CC: The nurse [at the police station] said if I send you to the hospital it will really delay everything. I just wanted to get out of there. I was really worried about my job. She gave me something similar to a Benadryl. Then later I woke up and had a panic attack. I never thought to get any test done. PM: Why do you think you were drugged? CC: Everything was foggy. I do remember coming in to Helium. I do remember getting into an altercation there, but I don’t remember what it was about. I only had two drinks at Helium. PM: On Facebook, you said you’d had one drink. Were you drinking prior to the two drinks at Helium? CC: Yes, I was working at Devil’s Den. I bartend there. And then we went to Cantina for a margarita, and I had two shots. But that was an hour before. Then we went to Helium, waited in line, got our drinks. I don’t even remember going out to the lobby. I do remember getting into the cop car. PM: Is there anything you’d like to say to the cop and the other people you acted out against in that video? CC: I feel awful. That’s not me or how I speak or how I talk or how I was raised. I had to delete all my social media, because I’m getting threats. PM: Given that you had at least five drinks, do you think it’s possible that your body was just reacting to the alcohol in your bloodstream? I really don’t know. I don’t know what to think. I know my limits. I’m a bartender. I didn’t feel wasted walking in. Damn, she was gone! Do you think she’ll be getting her job back??
