The 53-year-old actress appeared on The TODAY Show today to reveal that she’s pre-diabetic. The “How To Get Away With Murder” star told TODAY that the disease runs in her family and she’s speaking out for a valiant reason. Viola spoke out alongside her sisters Dianne Davis Wright and Deloris Grant to discuss the disease and “A Touch of Sugar,” a Merck documentary funded by the pharma company about diabetes health care. OK, so this is super awkward. Let’s just get that out of the way. We’re talking about a Teen Mom cast member with a new tattoo though, so you can always pretty much assume that it’s not going to be great. Just consider all the other tattoos these people have gotten over the years. Amber Portwood’s giant tattoo of baby Leah that covers an entire side of her torso, Jenelle Evans’ “YOLO” chest tattoo and that great big leopard … It’s just never good. But this time around, we’re talking about Tyler Baltierra’s brand new ink dedicated to his brand new daughter, precious little Vaeda . And boy, is it a doozy. So, OK, we all know Tyler has a thing for Batman, right? That’s why he chose to get this placed on his arm: Yes, that’s Batman holding a naked baby with Vaeda’s name underneath. It’s sure is something. A lot of people had a lot of things to say about this, so much that Tyler actually deleted this photo from his Instagram. So instead, let’s just check out what the fine Teen Mom fans over at Reddit had to say about this whole thing. “Typical Tyler,” one user commented. “The tattoo for his daughter is 90% about his Batman/hero complex and 10% about Vaeda.” Many people agreed that it seems like Tyler is Batman here, which is … a lot. Others — lots and lots of others — couldn’t get over the fact that Batman’s head looks exactly like a penis. “This is a dick,” one of those people explained. “This picture is of a dick. There’s even an opening for the urethra, and the line for the start of the head. Everything.” It’s just odd, because as some pointed out, he definitely has the money for a good tattoo. As one person said, He makes more than enough money to travel around the country and get amazing tattoo work …. but he gets dick headed Batman lmao Tyler come on bro why.” A more exasperated Teen Mom fan wrote “FFS Tyler. Stop with the bargain basement Batman tattoos. You aren’t Batman.” “With your money you could afford a decent tattoo artist too, yet here we are, staring at BatPenis and another kids name blended into it to justify it. Christ.” Because remember, he has a Batman tattoo for Nova, too. We’ll share one more comment, this one that reads “So Tyler the creative poet/fashion designer/interior decorator couldn’t think of a single damn thing to put on his body permanently other than his kid’s name under a penis head Batman picture he found on the internet?” That’s right — his tattoo isn’t an original drawing by his tattoo artist or anything, but an image created by an artist on Photoshop a few years ago. John Singleton Reportedly In A Coma After Suffering “Major Stroke”

Source: NBC / Getty O n April 17, director John Singleton suffered a stroke after returning from a trip in Costa Rica. At the time, it was reported that it was a mild stroke and that the flight back may have triggered it. “On Wednesday, April 17, our beloved son/father, John Singleton, suffered a stroke while at the hospital. John is currently in the ICU and under great medical care,” said Singleton’s family said in a statement to ET . “We ask that privacy be given to him and our family at this time and appreciate all of the prayers that have been pouring in from his fans, friends and colleagues. Thank you, The Singleton Family.” However, things are reportedly much worse than what was originally reported. According to TMZ , Singleton actually suffered a major stroke and is currently in a coma. TMZ got a hold of some legal documents that show that Singleton’s mother, Shelia Ward, is asking to be appointed to be his temporary conservator. Singleton was allegedly involved in several business projects and was prepared to sign “a lucrative settlement agreement,” and his mother wants to handle those affairs while Singleton is hospitalized. According to Yahoo , “a physician submitted a declaration, saying John Singleton was suffering from “major impairment to motor skills and psychological functions, including his ability to ‘reason logically.’” Singleton is a legendary film director, screenwriter and producer who is famously known for directing  Boys n the Hood , which gained him a nomination for Best Director at the Academy Awards — making him both the first black man and the youngest ever to receive that nomination. Singleton also directed classics like Poetic Justice, Higher Learning, Baby Boy and 2 Fast 2 Furious. He also wrote all mentioned except 2 Fast, 2 Furious. Singleton has also been an advocate for black voices in media, criticizing Hollywood for not letting black men and women direct black-themed films.

Based on their public appearance today and the looks on their faces while they talked and posed in front of photographers, Kate Middleton and Prince Harry have only one thing to say in response to this question: WHAT FEUD?!? On Thursday, Middleton stepped out to honor all Australian and New Zealand veterans during the annual Anzac Day Service of Commemoration and Thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey. This was the the same spot at which she and Prince William got married nearly eight years ago and this was an appearance Royal followers expected the Duchess to make. But many were taken by surprise when Harry joined his sister-in-law for the important occasion. Explained the official Instagram account for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, writing as a caption to a photo of Harry in attendance at this gathering: ANZAC Day has been observed annually in London since King George V attended a service at Westminster Abbey, and more than 2,000 Australian and New Zealand troops marched through the streets. Members of The Royal Family have continued to honour the servicemen and women globally, and today HRH The Duke of Cambridge also paid his respects at @AucklandMuseum. The Duke of Cambridge is visiting The Commonwealth country on behalf of The Queen to pay tribute to those killed in the Christchurch attacks earlier this year. This is great and everything, but we know what most celebrity gossip followers are thinking and wondering about… … and it’s not how special these veterans are, despite such a classification clearly holding true. Over the past several months, an endless array of outlets have alleged that Middleton is feuding with Meghan Markle — or that Harry is feudiing with Prince Harry. Are either of these rumors true? We may never know, but Kensington Palace is undoubtedly aware of the chatter, making it seem as if these photos were staged with the intent of putting such rivalry talk to rest. Beyoncé Dad Developing Destiny’s Child Musical

Reportedly, Mathew Knowles is developing a musical based on the story of Destiny’s Child. “I want to pull back the curtain,” Knowles said in a statement , as reported by Deadline . “I feel it’s time to give the world an opportunity to hear, see and feel the victories and failures that I’ve had as a husband, father and manager who risked everything in pursuit of fulfilling dreams – those of mine and others.” Per Knowles, the production will be titled Survivor: The Destiny’s Child Musical . He also plans for the musical to premiere in Houston in 2020 before going on to Broadway and London’s West End, and a world tour. Knowles plans to bring his “vision to life” with writer, producer, and director Je’Caryous Johnson. Added Johnson, “I am ecstatic to be working with Mr. Knowles on the development of  Survivor: The Destiny’s Child Musical, ” says Johnson. “It is a unique and inspiring story that will fearlessly tackle hard truths, while bringing both vindication and healing to all who lived it. It’s fair, it’s real and it’s an absolute honor to know that Mr. Knowles trusts me to pen and produce such an iconic piece of American history.” For now, don’t expect Beyoncé to be involved since she hasn’t worked with her father in years. — Photo: Getty

David and Shannon Beador: Messy Divorce Finalized at Last?!?

The bitter divorce between Shannon Beador and David has gone on and on and is finally winding to a close. Though David recently tried to squeeze Shannon for money in order to reduce what he has to pay, the two appeared in court together. This time, it was to officially end their marriage after 17 long years. RadarOnline reports that The Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador and her estranged ex David Beador appeared in court together. On Monday, April 22, the acrimonious exes appeared in court. But even before their hearing began, the two appeared to be in conflict. Apparently they were both seen in heated negotiations alongside their attorneys as they ironed out details of the case. And then, of course, they entered the courtroom. The goal of appearing before the judge was to finalize their divorce after more than a year of contentious court battles. We do not yet know how Monday’s hearing went. Maybe they somehow managed to get it all out of their systems and reach an accord before they walked throught he courtroom doors. But … their history of relentless squabbling does make that seem less than likely. We’ll find out soon enough, we suppose. These two have been arguing about what most divorcing couples argue about: money and custody. He also tried to make the court force Shannon to never touch a drop of alcohol during visits with her kids, a ploy which got shot down by a judge. David has pleaded with the court to believe him when he says that he doesn’t have enough funds to keep paying Shannon. The $22,500 that he pays each month is both spousal support for Shannon and child support for their three teenage daughters. He was so angry when the payments were first ordered that he (reportedly) cut off the water to Shannon’s home, where his own daughters live. But now he may get his wish. See, David has insisted that he doesn’t make enough to keep paying Shannon like this. So far, that hasn’t flown. We last heard that the court’s forensic accountant says that his business is complicated, but that if support goes down, it will be by a small degree. On the other hand, Shannon is reportedly making bank. David claims that she’s raking in something to the tune of $900,000 for her role on The Real Housewives of Orange County . (For the record, from what we can tell from court documents, she makes under $600,000 per recent season, which is still a massive income ) If they dotted every I and crossed every T in finalizing their divorce on Monday, which we doubt … … Shannon spent nearly a year embroiled in a second lawsuit. She and Tamra Judge were being sued to the tune of $1 million by Jim Bellino. Yes, the ex-husband of Jesus Jugs had accused the pair of maliciously defaming him by, get this, saying unkind things about his business on a podcast. Well, Shannon won her part of that suit, and the judge ordered Jim to pay Shannon back for all of her attorney fees and court costs.
