The altercation between the cop and the teen twin sisters were caught on video. Reportedly, Nyasia and Kyasia Sorrells said they were getting pizza on Thursday across from Orange High School when Officer Hanifah Davis tried to clear the corner. Video was spread of Davis talking to Kyasia Sorrells and then telling Nyasia Sorrells to back up. When Nyasia Sorrells approaches, Davis grabs her by the hair and both girls end up on the ground with Davis on top of them. The forces this cop is using is ridiculous. Take a close look. The school board staff member you see in the video who tried to intervene was ticketed. The twins face obstruction and resisting arrest charges; one of them also was charged with aggravated assault. Hundreds of students who attend high school with the young ladies marched to the police station Friday morning, chanting “We want justice! The protest and video evidence helped bring some justice to the situation. Democratic Orange Mayor Dwayne Warren says the office on video, Hanifah Davis ,has been suspended pending an investigation. Officials said that the officer was also facing another, routine, investigation after he drew his service weapon. SMH.
Well, it’s official. Yesterday’s Electoral College vote confirmed that Donald Trump will be the 45th President of the United States, to the delight of alt-righters and doomsday preppers alike. To most who followed the Hamilton Electors movement, the news didn’t come as a shock. It was more like an aftershock that followed the Richter-shattering Big One that happened back in November. Trump’s election was a stunner not only because every pundit and prognosticator led Dems to believe they should pick up a bottle of champagne on their way home from the polls, but also because Trump survived numerous scandals that would’ve sunk any other campaign in the history of American presidential politics. Trump voters didn’t seem bothered when he boasted about sexual assault or asked Russia to launch a cyber-attack against America, but how would they have reacted to video of Trump hurling out racial slurs? Well, thanks to Tom Arnold, we may never know. Arnold was a contestant on the Celebrity Apprentice, and like several others involved with the show , he claims to be in possession of shocking videotapes that show Trump exhibiting the kind of behavior that only Trump could get away with. “I have the outtakes to The Apprentice where he says every bad thing ever, every offensive, racist thing ever,” Arnold says. “It was him sitting in that chair saying the N-word, saying the C-word, calling his son a retard, just being so mean to his own children,” Uhhhh … so why in the hell didn’t he share this footage with the general public? Arnold offers this baffling explanation: “I’ll tell you why. Because when people sent it to me, it was funny. Hundreds of people have seen these. It was sort of a Christmas video they put together.” “He wasn’t going to be President of the United States. “It was him sitting in that chair saying the N-word, saying the C-word, calling his son a retard, just being so mean to his own children.” Clearly, Tom has a different opinion of what’s funny than the rest of the world, which goes a long way toward explaining his comedy career. Sadly, the revelation that Trump casually drops racial slurs and is brutally mean to his own children probably wouldn’t have had much of an impact on the election. However, Arnold’s reasoning in not releasing the video is another example of the weird double standard that allowed Trump to get elected. There may be no candidate in history who spent as much time living as publicly as Donald Trump did. None of that time was devoted to public service of any find, but for nearly 40 years, Trump successfully sought out the spotlight, and he used his platform to put his misogyny and bigotry on display. Legendary actress Mia Farrow has lost her son, Thaddeus. The 27-year-old was found in his car on September 21st in Connecticut with grave injuries. According to the Hartford Courant , police arrived at the scene around 12:45 p.m. local time, but Thaddeus was pronounced dead at 2:30 p.m. at Danbury Hospital Details on the death were not available as of press time, but police confirm that no criminal activity was involved. Mia adopted Thaddeus in 1994. The boy was wheelchair-bound at the time after contracting polio in Calcutta, India. Before being adopted, Thaddeus was abandoned at a railway station. In order to survive, he crawled on his hands a “stubs of legs” to beg others for food, according to a 2013 Vanity Fair profile on Mia Farrow’s family. When he was put in an orphanage, Thaddeus wa “chained to a post, and kids would throw rocks at him to prompt the mannish growls he made.” Mia herself suffered from polio as a child. “I perhaps am more motivated than most people because I had polio myself and it was a real struggle to come through it, and what I saw will never leave me – in the hospitals and in the public wards for contagious diseases,” Farrow told the New York Post in 2000. “Perhaps even more so because I have a son who is only 12 years old and who is paralyzed from the waist down because of polio.” Over the years, however, Thaddeus’ health improved, and he was eventually was able walk on his own with the help of braces. “It was scary to be brought to a world of people whose language I did not understand, with different skin colors,” Thaddeus told VF. “The fact that everyone loved me was a new experience, overwhelming at first.” Thaddeus was one of 14 of Mia’s children, 10 of which were adopted. Unfortunately, he is the third adopted child in the family. to pass away. His siblings, Tam and Lark passed away in 2000 and 2008 respectively. Mia adopted Thaddeus two years after splitting up with Woody Allen. Allen had an affair with the couple’s adopted daughter, Soon-Yi, whom he married in 1997. Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney were first on his list and it was pretty bad. “No more houses, no more babies coming from the girl who didn’t know she was pregnant, but was slamming beers all day long,” Saran said on Snapchat.
