Paige VanZant is fucking awesome…. She is an ass kicker, strong fucking bitch who can kill me, which is hot in and of itself, but there’s something sweet and cute about her.. So I am all for her working the instagram feed the way she should…in provocative poses, teasing us, because when a woman is an athlete, with credibility, her being slutty on the instagram is clearly just for fun, it’s not a huge part of her job, and that makes it more sincere, lest forced, and hot. She’s just out here doing this cuz she likes it, cuz she can, and if you don’t like it, she’ll just choke you the fuck out…. I do not watch the UFC. I don’t do marital arts or appreciate the skill. The idea of man on man in underwear grinding down is a little too fucking queer for me. Bria Myles recently traded in long hair for a bald do and it had us thinking about getting a cropped cut! We caught up with CASSIUS Editor, Stephanie Long , who has been rocking a short haircut for about almost a year now. However, this isn’t the first time she’s had short hair. She explained, “In 2009, back when I was still relaxing my hair, I had cut it pretty short a’ la Rihanna in the ‘Take a Bow’ video. Before that, I had the ‘Umbrella’ bob.” Long is one to experiment with her hair and after having “locs for a hot second in 2017 and not really feeling it,” she was “ready to take the plunge.” The change in her tresses led her to feel like she really came into herself and she “felt so beautiful.” She added it was “one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for myself.” Yes, it’s true, short hair is easier to manage. Stephanie shared her routine with Hello Beautiful , “I’m able to just get up in the morning, shower, throw on a cute outfit with some brows and a bold lip and I’m out the door.” She relishes in the thought, “No more wash days, no more pineappling my hair to preserve a twistout, no more hiding from rain or humidity.” If there is one difficult moment, she explained it’s the “awkward stage between really needing a cut and actually getting one is a bit annoying.” Nevertheless, even in her “rough” moments, she still gets tons of compliments on her look. She found a great barber through trial and error, “I did my googles, tried one barber that was okay but that I wasn’t fully satisfied with. Then I kept looking online and eventually found the one I’ve been going to since late September 2018.” For New York girls, she shared the wealth, “His name is Tim Lord and he’s at Adrian Fanus Grooming in Bed-Stuy! It’s only mid-July, but all over the country, school districts are shortening breaks in favor of longer school years. And so, in some areas of the South (Where their summer breaks tend to start and end earlier.), it’s already back-to-school season. Most kids are probably pretty bummed about starting school in mid-July — but we’re guessing Kaiser Griffith and Maryssa Eason are pretty okay with it. Yes, it’s hard to believe he’s growing up so fast, but little Kaiser began kindergarten this week. Jenelle posted photos of Kai’s first day of kindergarten and Maryssa’s first day of 7th grade on her Instagram page this week. “#FirstDayOfSchool,” she captioned the pics. “These kiddos are getting so big, so fast!” Jenelle continued, adding the hashtags, “#BittersweetMoments #Motivated and #SchoolDays.” Some fans were taken aback that Jenelle’s kids start school so early in the summer. Others, of course, are still in shock that she was able to regain custody of Kaiser and Maryssa . Yes, as we’re sure you know, Evans lost custody of three of her kids following a CPS investigation back in May. The shocking decision to dismiss the case did not go over well on social media — which is no great surprise, what with the kids being returned to a home with a psychopath who’s known to shoot and kill beloved pets during his infamous temper tantrums. Jenelle’s comments section is a curated space these days, with the disgraced former reality star devoting a lot of time to deleting negative comments. But clearly, she didn’t catch them all — or consider the fact that folks on other social media platforms can still discuss her pics with impunity. “Ummm I thought you coparented with everyone fine? Where is his Father & WTF kind of school/parents would let this guy around their kids?” asked Twitter user @anon_mafioso, remarking on Nathan Griffith’s absence from the photos “You should be thankful you even get to see those kids,” Instagrammer shesworthwords commented. That one pretty much sums up the general feeling toward Jenelle getting her children back. She made it clear from the start that she considers herself the victim of an appalling injustice and feels that her kids were taken from her as the result of a smear campaign coordinated by the media and her family. This, obviously, is batsh-t thinking, but it’s what we’ve come to expect from Jenelle. We just hope that she occasionally takes some time out from her self-pity to consider the fact that is indeed quite lucky to have her kids returned to her — and she should do everything in her power to provide a safe and stable environment for them, so that they need not be uprooted again. When R. Kelly was arrested on sex trafficking charges last week, many — likely including the singer himself — assumed that he would be released within hours. After all, Kelly has proven surprisingly adept at evading authorities over the years, and he’s remained a free man despite dozens of allegations against him over the course of two decades. But a full week after he was taken into custody, Kelly remains behind bars. A judge denied him bail at a hearing on Tuesday, so it looks like he’ll remain locked up at least until his trial. And as is so often the case with rich and powerful men who lead lives of crime, the possibility of being locked up for a very long time didn’t seem real to Kelly until he actually spent some time behind bars. Now, it’s all hitting home for the 52-year-old, and it seems he’s very aware that prison isn’t a very pleasant place for convicted sex offenders. According to a new report from TMZ, Kelly is being kept in solitary confinement at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Chicago. And the surprising thing is, he prefers it that way. Kelly’s attorney, Nicole Blank Becker, tells TMZ that the R&B legend feels that his life would be in danger in the general prison population. And he must really be afraid of getting snuffed out because life in the hole sounds like a nightmare experience. Whereas the gen. pop. inmates have access to the phone whenever they want, Kelly has just 15 minutes a month to speak with family and friends on the outside. On top of that, he receives no TV or internet access. Kelly is almost entirely illiterate, which further complicates his situation, as even minor tasks like choosing items from the commissary list are nearly impossible for the singer. And so, Kelly and his lawyers are at odds over his situation. They feel it’s unsafe for him to remain in solitary; he feels it would be unsafe for him to live among the general population. It’s possible that in this case, he knows something they don’t. TMZ reports that Kelly has little to no support among his fellow inmates, which is not surprising. He’s locked up in his native Chicago, and given the number of accusers he’s amassed over the years, it seems almost impossible none of them have any association with one of the prisoners. Meanwhile, the case against Kelly seems to get stronger by the day. Prosecutors claim they’re in possession of a tape that shows Kelly engaging in sex acts with multiple minors . Hannah Brown agreed to become The Bachelorette in order to find a husband. (Has she done so? Visit our section of The Bachelorette spoilers to find out!) Instead, however, she finds herself right smack dab in the middle of a never-ending controversy over her sex life. Simply put, this is not what the reality star expected… and she still doesn’t comprehend how it has happened. “I sit with people who know me the most and think, ‘How have I become the sex girl?’” Brown asks in a new interview with People Magazine. She’s referring to the debate that has sprang up over her willingness to talk about her Christian faith — and also her willingness to kiss a bunch of guys. This debate has only intensified over the past several days after loser contestant Luke Parker tried to guilt trip Hannah for having the gall to visit the Fantasy Suite with a pair of suitors. And to have herself a bit of fun in there, if you know what we mean. “Like, I had only kissed five guys and I had sex with my two long relationship boyfriends,” Brown tells People , revealing her very personal number and adding: “College was the first time. It wasn’t like I was what anybody would call ‘promiscuous.’ And then now I’ve been slut-shamed for it.” Brown added that this slut-shaming started way when she was seen “making out” with the “same three or four guys” on The Bachelorette. But isn’t that sort of the entire point of this franchise? “It’s just not okay because this show is about trying to find a husband and a part of a relationship, a marriage, is physical intimacy,” she says. “And if I want to make out with a guy, I’m going to make out with them.” Yes! D’uh! As she very well should be, as a single woman interacting with single men in a flirty and fun fashion. All of this unfortunate nonsense hit a fever pitch on Monday night’s episode when Brown and Parker engaged in a heated argument about sex and religion; it concluded with Brown flipping off Parker after she gave him the boot. “I just want to make sure that you’re not going to be sexually intimate with the other relationships here,” Luke lectured Hannah on air, continuing as follows: “I totally have all the trust in the world in you, but at the same time, I just want to make sure we’re on the same page. “Like, if you told me you’re going to have sex or you had sex with one or multiple of these guys, I would be wanting to go home, 100 percent.” Welp, Hannah did have sex with one or multiple of those guys… so she sent Luke home! Source: Peter Cade / Getty Instagram Might Be Getting Rid Of Their Public Like Count Sometime Soon Some of us like to act like we don’t care about Instagram likes–and some of us actually, really don’t care. But others have built entire careers off the number of likes they can pull in per picture, so there’s definitely something important about the number under that little heart icon on all of our pictures. While the number of people who double tap certain photos seems pretty arbitrary, a lot of people are starting to think more and more that the attention we pay to social media can be harmful to our self-esteem, mental health, and other factors in our real life. That’s why Instagram could be getting rid of this feature for good. Instagram is expanding its test of a feature that hides their public “like” counts. The test began in Canada in back in April, and, starting on Wednesday, the test expanded to Ireland, Italy, Japan, Brazil, Australia, and New Zealand. At this point, this is still just an experiment, and Instagram hasn’t said whether or not the feature will come to the US–but this gradual implementation into different areas could be the platform’s way of introducing a really big change. As for the tests going down in these 7 countries, Instagram users can opt out of the test, but it’s on by default. “Likes” aren’t shown in any public part of the app, including on public-facing grids or on the main feed, but the person who posted an image can still see the “like” count privately. After the initial idea was announced, Elle ran a story titled “Instagram Is Experimenting With Hiding Likes, Which Would Make It Much Harder to Be an Influencer,” which points out that brands care a lot more about hiring influencers with high engagement rates (a high percentage of likes compared to their follower count) on their posts than they do about how many followers someone has. On the contrary, marketing blogger Charles Tumotto Jackson argued that influencers would be fine — probably just pivoting to a higher reliance on Instagram Stories. That’s where they can use the swipe-up feature to link directly to purchasing pages, and “everything becomes measurable and even more transparent than it used to be.” Plus, like mentioned above, the influencers themselves can still see how many likes are being brought in, which is something they can show to a brand just like the back-end analytics already provides–proving once more that their business and livelihood probably won’t be affected by this change as much as people think. All children are a blessing. We’re not here to argue this point. But some men and women are simply incompatible and, yes, even dangerous together and they really should not share any kids. Yes, we’re looking at you when making this statement, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Jen Harley. The on-again/off-again/on-again/off-again/holy-crap-are-they-really-on-again?!? couple is already parents to an adorable daughter named Ariana. She was born in April of 2018 and her parents have spent every other week since fighting, arguing and alleging that the other assaulting him or her. We’re barely even exaggerating here. And yet… Ronnie just admitted that he and Harley remain a couple and MTV viewers watched in shock on Thursday night when Ronnie dropped a different kind of bombshell: He said Harley might be pregnant again. On the latest installment of this revived reality series, the group took a trip to Lake George, New York in order to help Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino get his mind off his recent jail sentencing. And this mission was quickly accomplished once everyone was sitting around a bonfire and Ronnie said his sperm may have fertilized Jen’s egg for the second time. “You might be pregnant?” replied Jenni “JWOWW” Farley. “Shut the f-ck up. Ronaldo, are you serious?” “Maybe,” he responded. “She’s late. … She wants to take [a pregnancy test] now, but I told her to wait. I want to be there when she does it.” “My mind is blown right now,” Mike confessed. Vinny Guadagnino, meamwhile, won the night with the best reaction, offering his friend some life advice while also asking the question on everyone’s minds: Pull the f-ck out. What the f-ck is wrong with you? Ronnie didn’t let these responses get him down, however. Yes, he and Jen have had their problems — and then some. It was only a few months ago that Ronnie claimed Jen assaulted him with an ashtray and Jen claimed Ronnie ransacked her Las Vegas apartment. However, “I love being a father,” he said on air last night, adding of the possibility that Harley is expecting again: “I mean, I did it once. Second time will be the same thing, if not better.” Continued the muscular veteran MTV personality: “I’m excited about it, you know. “I would rather have another child with Jen than have another child with another woman. Why would I want to have three baby moms? It’s like, let’s have kids, get one baby’s mom, and that’s what it is.” In their interviews with producers, though, other cast members weren’t quite so optimistic about the situation. Remember, they think Jen totally sucks . “It’s definitely crazy to think Jen’s pregnant again, because we just never know where they are in their relationship – if they’re happy, if they’re fighting, if she’s dragging him with a car,” said Snooki. “I just want them to be good before they bring another baby into the world.” Farley echoed this sentiment: “I feel like they need about five years of therapy before another child. It’s my opinion, I’m allowed to have it. But apparently, they’re fine. As he’s sitting there with another black eye.” And Pauly D? Let’s have your thoughts… “Like, what the f-ck, dude? You haven’t learned yet? “Their relationship is a roller coaster. The last thing they need to do is have another baby. This either means he’s at a healthier place than ever before… or that Harley drove him to seek professional help and his pals are right, she’s a very bad influence on him. In the end, the question of Jen’s pregnancy was not resolved on the episode. But it was filmed months ago and there’s been no talk of her being with child since, so it’s safe to assume this was a false, very scary alarm. After all, Ortiz-Magro talked to Us Weekly just a few days ago and said his relationship with Jen is actually great, never bringing up an impending baby. “Things are good and I think it’s because I made a change and I stopped doing the same thing over and over again,” he told this tabloid, concluding: “I started just focusing on myself and stopped worrying about what other people wanted from me, and what I want for myself.
