Kourtney Kardashian Just Got Fired on Keeping Up with the Kardashians

Keeping Up with the Kardashians is about to bring the drama on Season 17. More than ever, it seems. E! has released an extended look at upcoming episodes of this long-running reality show, revealing various scenes and spoilers that have left viewers stunned and confused. Starting with this question: HAS TRISTAN THOMPSON PROPOSED TO KHLOE KARDASHIAN? According to Khloe, she has continually received lavish gifts from her awful ex-boyfriend and baby daddy. Specifically, the NBA star has given Kardashian a “pink diamond,” as teased in this intriguing video. “It looks fully like an engagement ring,” Scott Disick says while observing the piece of bling. “No! No,” the Revenge Body star yells in response. Now, to be clear, we never see Tristan giving Khloe any of these items… so it's very possible this is all just concocted nonsense. But it's also possible Tristan thinks he can win Khloe back . Elsewhere,  Kim and Kourtney Kardashian clash hard over a “Candyland”-themed party. We wish we were making that up, but it's true. After the Poosh.com founder calls her sister “the biggest f-cking evil person on the planet,” Kim replied by “firing” the oldest Kardashian, and claiming  that she means it. “We're firing Kourtney! She's out,” Mrs. Kanye West declares. Kim is referring just to the planning of this party, of course, but Kourtney later makes it clear that she'd be fine if the entire show simply ended right now. “I don't know why we can't all just respect each other,” Kourtney notes in a voice over at one point. And it seems that Kris Jenner agrees. She expressed some disappointment and even disdain in the preview, castigating her kids for their behavior. “I feel like the really funny side of you guys outweighed the mean side. And I feel like it's gotten a little Mean Girls,” Kris warns in this footage, adding: “As much as I love you, you fight a lot dirtier than you used to.” After all these years on the air, it seems like something is missing. Either that, or the scripts are just pretty terrible at this point in the program's very long run. “You guys gotta get back to the fact that we're just family,” Jenner concludes. Felicity Huffman Begins 14-Day Prison Sentence

From Desperate Housewife to Anxious Inmate! Last month, actress Felicity Huffman was sentenced to 14 days in prison for her involvement in the now-infamous college admissions bribery scandal. Today, the 56-year-old actress turned herself over to authorities to begin her two-week sting behind bars. In a way, the sentence is the sort of compromise that satisfies no one. Prosecutors initially pushed for a much harsher sentence of four months for Huffman. Her lawyers were able to whittle that recommendation down to one month, and in the end, the judge in her case dealt out a shockingly light slap-on-the-wrist sentence of just four months. The decision left Huffman in tears in the courtroom, but also led to widespread outrage among the many who (rightly) believe Huffman was a beneficiary of white privilege. In short, she’ll suffer the indignity of spending two weeks in a county-orange jumpsuit, but the consensus will remain that she got away with it and never paid her debt to society. Huffman’s sentence is a very short one — but in all likelihood, her reputation and career prospects are irreparably ruined. Huffman will serve her time in a detention center just outside of San Francisco — and her team is already spinning this into a case of her bravely facing her punishment. You know, the punishment she desperately tried to wriggle out of. “Ms. Huffman is prepared to serve the term of imprisonment Judge Talwani ordered as one part of the punishment she imposed for Ms. Huffman’s actions,” Huffman’s representative said in a prepared statement released today, “She will begin serving the remainder of the sentence Judge Talwani imposed — one year of supervised release, with conditions including 250 hours of community service — when she is released.” Huffman was convicted of paying a fraudulent proctor to help her daughter cheat on the SATs, thus ensuring admission to the college of her choice. Fifty other parents were ensnared in the FBI’s Operation Varsity Blues sting operation, but along with fellow actress Lori Loughlin, Felicity became one of the two faces of the college admissions bribery scandal. Unlike Huffman, Loughlin did not accept a plea deal, and is now gearing up to fight the charges against her in criminal court. She stands accused of doling out $500,000 in bribes in order to ensure her two daughters’ admission to USC. At this point, it seems highly unlikely that Loughlin will avoid prison time. “I don’t think I’d be giving away any state secrets by saying we would probably ask for a higher sentence for her than we did for Felicity Huffman,” U.S. Attorney Andrew Lelling of the District of Massachusetts told NBC News today. California Leads The Charge By Signing A Bill Into Law Preventing The Sales And Production Of Fur

Source: Estrop / Getty Governor Gavin Newsom made history by signing into law a bill that bans the production and sales of all new fur products in California. California is the first state in the nation to pass such a ban. Assembly Bill 44 went into effect on October 12 th . The bill applies to all new clothing, handbags, shoes, and any wearable item that is made with fur. Last year, San Francisco was the first major city to go fur free , so it’s no surprise to see California continuing to lead the charge. What does this mean? This means that consumers (and sellers) will receive a civil penalty if they are caught buying or selling these new products. Used fur, leather, shearling, cowhide and taxidermy are excluded from the bill. Furthermore, any fur products used by Native American tribes or for religious purposes are not included in the ban. Those that are caught breaking this new law will face a civil penalty. According to the Humane Society, the fur industry causes the suffering and death of more than 100 million animals worldwide and animals on fur factory farms are forced to live in cramped, wire bottom cages, deprived of the ability to engage in natural behaviors, before being killed by gassing or electrocution. Kitty Block, CEO and President of the Humane Society of United States remarked via press release, “The signing of AB 44 underscores the point that today’s consumers simply don’t want wild animals to suffer extreme pain and fear for sake of fashion.” Many high end brands including Versace, Michael Kors, and Gucci have vowed not to use real fur in their collections. This is not the only animal friendly law that Newsom signed into effect. Under another piece of legislation tigers and elephants won’t be allowed to be used in circuses. Another bill protects horses from being slaughtered while an additional piece of legislation now protects bobcats from being trapped and killed. Tracy Reiman, Executive Vice President of PETA praised the moment calling it “historic” for animals “including those who have been whipped into performing in circuses or skinned alive for their fur or skin.” She also added, “PETA is proud to have worked with compassionate legislators to push these lifesaving laws forward.” Block added via statement, “More cities and states are expected to follow California’s lead, and the few brands and retailers that still sell fur will no doubt take a closer look at innovative alternatives that don’t involve animal cruelty.” Beauties, would you want your state to sign into law a fur ban? As the face of GQ’s November edition P is attempting to change the macho narrative. Dubbed the “New Masculinity Issue” the Virginia native is pictured sporting a Moncler 1 sleeveless poncho that hangs to the floor giving the look a ball gown vibe. In the story the In My Mind author explains his stance on what the definition of being manly is. “Some of my old songs, I would never write or sing today. I get embarrassed by some of that stuff. It just took a lot of time and growth to get to that place,” he revealed. “‘Blurred Lines’ opened me up. I didn’t get it at first…lyrically,I was like, What are you talking about?… And then I realized that there are men who use that same language when taking advantage of a woman, and it doesn’t matter that that’s not my behavior. Amy Duggar Returns Home With Baby Boy Amid Family Feud Rumors

Last week, Amy Duggar welcomed her first child — a bouncing baby boy named Daxton. Obviously, there’s no way to gauge this sort of thing, but the arrival of little Dax seemed to elicit more excitement than the usual Duggar birth. Perhaps it was the fact that at 32, Amy is considerably older than most new moms in her family. Maybe it’s a testament to Amy’s popularity with fans, many of whom admire her stubborn individualism in the face of intense pressure to conform to her uncle’s ultra-conservative views. Whatever the case, the denizens of Duggar Nation are psyched about baby Dax. And Amy is more than happy to oblige them with regular updates about her brand new bundle of joy: Over the weekend, Amy posted a photo of Dax’s long-awaited homecoming. (As many fans commenters pointed out, it appears that Amy spent 4-5 days in the hospital, which means either there were some mild complications, or she has really great health insurance.) Naturally, she documented the occasion for her 400,000 Instagram followers. “Headed home!!! King: Party of 3!” Amy captioned the pic. “Our son has his own IG account! We wanted to grab it before it wasn’t available for when he’s older!” she added. Yes, Dax has his own Instagram page already. We’d make fun, but like gender reveal parties, infant IGs are probably a trend that’s already becoming the norm, if it hasn’t already. “Can you believe I was sideways in mommy’s stomach and now I’m here!?! Let’s go home! In time to see my first Razorback game!” Amy (we assume) captioned the first photo from Dax’s page (below). Daddy Dillon King posted the same pic, with a caption reading: “[Daxton] and I are ready for the @razorbackfb game tonight! [Amy] we just have to get him into his #arkansasrazorbacks gear!”  As with all things Duggar, the whole thing seems wholesome enough, but there are rumors of something seriously unpleasant lurking just beneath the surface. As we reported last week, Jill Duggar is the only member of her family to visit Amy thus far. The other Duggars have a pretty good excuse for not dropping by, as they’ve been visiting Jinger in Los Angeles . Still, their absence has raised a lot of questions about the new mom’s standing with the rest of her family. Conflicts between Amy and Jim Bob Duggar have made tabloid headlines several times over the years. Now, many believe that the rumors of a reconciliation were bogus, and JB still does not approve of his niece’s lifestyle. In recent months, there have been reports that Jill is not on good terms with the rest of their family. The situation has led to a fan theory that she’s joined forces with her outcast cousin in a sort of rebel alliance. EST On NBC The creator behind the TV shows “Chicago Med,” Chicago Fire” and Chicago P.D.” said this week’s crossover episodes have a “really scary” storyline that could happen in real life. “One Chicago” creator Dick Wolf said Wednesday night’s three-hour event about a flesh-eating virus plaguing the Windy City would shock viewers because it’s a crisis that’s within the realm of possibility. “It’s basically the same primal fear as “Jaws” or “The Birds” – it’s nature run amok,” Wolf said. “It’s scary.” Wolf said flesh-eating bacteria are in nature and recalled last summer’s spate of cases involving people who caught it after swimming at the beach. Source: NBC / Getty The executive producer also revealed his own brush with superbugs: last year he said doctors swabbed a spot he thought was infected for strep and MRSA viruses. “I said I haven’t been in a hospital,” Wolf told BOSSIP. (The doctor) “said, ‘It’s out.’” This week’s episode sees the casts of “One Chicago” franchises “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago P.D.,” and “Chicago Med” join forces to save the city from the potential pandemic. “All I can say is stay tuned,” Wolf added. “There’s really good stuff coming up. The crossover, I think, will scare a lot of people.” Wolf, whose other primetime series “Law & Order: SVU” is the longest-running TV show in U.S. history, also revealed what he believes has helped his shows’ longevity: “The writing,” he said. “It’s always the writing.”

Jinger Duggar: Did She Tone Down Her "Rebellious" Look For Her Parents’ Visit?

Of all the Duggar children, no one has blazed their own trail quite like Jinger. Jinger first earned the “rebel” label when she began wearing pants, a violation of the strict Duggar dress code , which requires women to wear long skirts at all times. (Jinger committed her first act of sartorial defiance only after she was married and only with her husband’s permission, but hey — given her parents’ famously low tolerance for non-conformity, that pair of Levi’s must have felt as dangerous as any mohawk.) Since then, Jinger has broken with the Duggar belief system in a number of subtle, but significant ways. For starters, she married a man her father openly disapproved of. After her wedding, Jinger waited more than a year to get pregnant — a customary practice in most parts of the world, but the stuff of scandal in a community in which girls are taught from a young age that procreation is their primary reason for being. Most recently, Jinger moved to Los Angeles with her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, and her daughter, Felicity. Even though the family relocated so that Jeremy could attend a divinity school in the area, Jinger’s parents reportedly disapproved. In fact, the move prompted rumors that Jinger had been disowned by her parents . Last week, however, something remarkable happened. With no advanced notice, Jim Bob and Michelle — along with 16 of their children — made the trip out west and visited Jinger in LA for the first time. Some flew, some drove RVs, and Jinger was reportedly overjoyed to see her parents and all but two of her siblings. (Jill and Joy-Anna were unable to make the trip for reasons that remain unclear.) Obviously, Jinger did not have to do any traveling, and she wasn’t able to accommodate dozens of guests in her home. (It’s unclear how many Duggar children and in-laws made the journey.) But that doesn’t mean nothing was required of her. According to a new report from Radar Online, Jinger made a major concession to her parents’ belief system and re-adopted the Duggar dress code during their visit. “Just last week Jinger was wearing ripped jeans, and before that, short shorts,” an insider tells the site. “The moment her parents come to town she goes back to wearing dresses,” Yes, we suppose it’s easy to be a rebel when your parents are 1,500 miles away, but a bit more difficult when they’re staying at the Marriott down the street. It’s unclear if Jim Bob and Michelle requested this favor of Jinger, or if she simply chose to surprise them with her return to “modest attire.” Some folks are taking this as a sign that Jinger really was disowned by her parents and is currently working hard to get back into their good graces. That’s a bit of a stretch. But whatever the case, it seems Jinger is still very much concerned with remaining on Jim Bob’s good side. Avery Mills Defends Omar Albakour in Unhinged Video: He’s NOT Controlling!

Monday night will show part one of the 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way Tell All special . Avery Mills is getting ahead of whatever is about to air by offering a vigorous, if somewhat unhinged, defense of her husband, Omar Albakour. Is she right? Is she a little bonkers? It's possible that both are true. Take a look: “Okay,” Avery begins a series of Instagram Story videos. “I do have to say something.” “I don't usually respond to any comments,” she admits. “But I hate when people say Omar is controlling.” “I'm sorry,” Avery says sarcastically. “But Omar asking me not to dance in the streets because it's not normal is  not  being controlling.” “To be honest,” she continues. “People have their preferences. If he doesn't want me dancing in the streets …” She then zooms in on her face, saying to trust her, that, they “do enough dancing at home.” “For two,” Avery continues in a subsequent video shared to her Instagram Story. “For someone to say that Omar does not love me,” she insists. “Does not know Omar.” Avery expresses: “He is the most loving person, ever.” She then suggests that she may be able to zero in on exactly what makes some viewers so suspicious of Omar. “Yeah,” she admits. “He's shy.” “He's shy when he's getting recorded for international TV shows,” Avery points out. “I bet a lot of people would be more shy, too,” she predicts. But Avery has moe to say than just defending Omar's demeanor and what some saw as controlling behavior. She also takes the opportunity to sing her man's praises. “You know,” she says. “Get you a man who sings … to you.” Avery also recommends a man “that plays with your hair any time.” “That spoils you,” she continues. “With love, with, you know, anything that you want.” “Get you someone who will protect you at all costs,” Avery suggests. “And maybe,” she says up close to the camera. “You'll know how much Omar loves me.” “And last but not least,” Avery concludes. “If you don't like me,” she says, while facing off screen. “Then that's a personal problem.” Throughout the entire video, she is going out of her way to emote more than necessary. For dramatic effect, she moves the camera close to and away from her face at odd moments. The effect of her Instagram Stories, whether you agree with her message or not, is unlikely to impress. If you're wondering why Avery comes across as a little batty and immature here, keep in mind that she's, well, 19. Maybe 20. And while she's certainly not too young to choose her religious faith, her age has brought up other concerns. She may be an adult, but how young is too young to get married? Most people feel that 19 qualifies. That said, some critics of her romance with Omar have less to do with maturity concerns and more to do with straight-up Islamophobia. Fans of the couple will be pleased to know that it appears that the two are still married. We'll know more on Monday night's Tell All, Part 1.

Joe Giudice to Teresa: Do NOT Come to Italy!

Well, it finally happened. After months of appealing his deportation ruling, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star  Joe Giudice has been shipped off to Italy . Insiders say Joe plans to continue fighting for his right to live in America, but from now on, he’ll be waging that battle from his new home in Naples. Joe doesn’t speak Italian, and doesn’t know anyone in Italy, so it won’t be easy for him to build a new life for himself in the country of his birth. Fortunately, he won’t be undertaking the task entirely on his own. Joe was met in Italy by his mother and brother, who set up a home for him in preparation for his arrival. Throughout the ordeal of his imprisonment and subsequent detainment by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Joe repeatedly stated that the worst part was being separated from his four daughters. So he must have been overjoyed by the news that the girls will be visiting him in Naples. Gia announced the visit on Instagram over the weekend. The 18-year-old college student (above) posted this photo of Joe and his brother (below), along with a caption reading: “So happy your together right now.. enjoy see you in a few weeks daddy.” And it seems the girls won’t be making their transcontinental journey alone. Insiders say Teresa Giudice will be traveling to Italy  in the very near future – but it seems she’s not motivated purely by her love for Joe. According to a new report from Radar Online, Teresa will receive a massive bonus from Bravo for going to Naples and filming for TV. That’s right, she’s driven strongly by the appeal of the almighty dollar. Gotta reunite on The Real Housewives of New Jersey with Joe! The trip across the Atlantic has the potential to be intensely awkward for a number of reasons, if you stop and think about it. For starters, it’s been made clear that  Teresa still plans to divorce Joe  and has already been dating a much younger man named Blake Schreck. On top of that, it seems that both Joe and his family would prefer that Teresa simply stay home in the Garden State. “Joe’s mom and brother have told him that Teresa should not be allowed to see him in Italy,” one insider tells Radar. “They have talked to him about the cheating claims, and how she hasn’t respected him at all since he was locked up,” the insider adds. Apparently, Joe’s mother and brother basically held an anti-Teresa intervention, and it’s beginning to have the desired effect on Joe: “Joe’s mom and brother have hammered him on his terrible relationship with his wife,” the celebrity gossip site’s insider claims. “They do not like Teresa at all, and they don’t think she should come to Italy when she hardly ever went to prison to see him.” It’s hard to believe that Joe would still want Teresa to visit him overseas now that she’s got one foot out the door.
