Since moving to L.A., Jinger Duggar has undergone such a radical and joyous transformation that fans hope that Jana will be inspired to break free . But while Jeremy Vuolo is responsible for “allowing” Jinger to break so many family rules, she may have gone too far even for him. After she was spotted wearing some very short shorts, is her husband embarrassed to be seen with her? One of the perks of being given to a husband and therefore no longer being Jim Bob’s property means that the Duggar girls live under new rules. Jeremy Vuolo is a fervently devout Christian — in addition to being a reality star, he’s also a pastor. He has allowed her to wear pants. But even fans who cheered Jinger’s wearing of normal clothes were surprised to hear that she was spotted out in public wearing shorts. These weren’t the sorts of athletic shorts that drape to someone’s knees. They came to mid-thigh at the furthest. That may be normal for, you know, human society, but for the Duggar fertility cult, that makes her a regular Jezebel. But what does Jeremy think? Jeremy Vuolo shared with his fans and followers that he had taken some guy friends to his favorite pizza place in L.A. He posed along with the guys — and of course, his adorable little baby, Felicity. It wasn’t just that Jinger didn’t show up in the photo that raised the eyebrows of fans. Look at the way that the pic of Jeremy is cropped, cutting off an arm. After so many carefully framed and curated photos from the Vuolos, it looks suspiciously like someone was cut out of the frame. Was Jinger there in her short shorts? Did Jeremy scrub her from the pic because she went too far? Jinger has truly undergone a radical transformation since she and Jeremy moved to L.A. She wears pants. She wears sleeveless tops. She even dyed her hair blonde. And while she looks beautiful, the experience was jarring fo ra lot of fans. It seems that physical distance from Jim Bob and the Duggar world has let her feel free to stretch her legs — and bare them. Would her own family even recognize the person she’s become? Probably, but they very likely do not approve. Jinger “gets away” with all of these changes because she’s married to Jeremy. As we mentioned, he is a pastor, and he has strong opinions about Christian theology that differ from those of Jim Bob. He has stated in the past that he doesn’t believe that Jesus granted Christians salvation simply to forbid them from wearing pants. That’s a good line — and a simple but easily understandable expression of why he believes that over-the-top modesty theology is flawed. We have to believe that he doesn’t really care about the shorts. If anything, maybe Jinger cropped herself out for the sake of her family. A lot of ans have been holding out hope that Jinger’s move to a diverse, vibrant city will help her take larger steps away from the Duggars. It’s not that people don’t want her to love and talk to her siblings. It’s just that, well, her whole family is in a secretive, abusive cult and that’s not good for anyone. Nobody’s demanding that she give up her personal religious beliefs, just shed the trappings of her family’s diehard fundamentalism. Jinger has taken great steps in that direction. Well, that didn’t take long. Just weeks after she caught Javi Marroquin cheating on her in her own home, Lauren Comeau seems ready to forgive and forget. Earlier this month, we reported that Lauren had moved back in with Javi . (Understandably, she retreated to her home state of Maine after catching her fiance banging one of his CrossFit students in their bathroom.) Now, the couple has taken another step toward reconciliation by making their relationship Instagram official. Javi posted the pic below on Instagram this week. At first glance, it may seem to be nothing more than a precious moment featuring his 1-year-old son witn Lauren. But on closer inspection, you’ll notice that those are Lauren’s hands helping little Eli with his first steps. Javi captioned the pic, “Cherish these moments.” Clearly, he believes there are some moments in life during which relationship strife and other stressors must be set aside so that one can be fully present in the moment. Javi probably takes a similar view of illicit bathroom assignations, but that’s a conversation for another time. Anyway, as much as Teen Mom 2 fans might have preferred that Javi finally be held accountable for his actions, it seems he’s been let off the hook yet again. “Lauren is back home,” a source confirmed to Radar. “They are trying to work on things.” Judging by her Instrgam page, it seems that Lauren has been back in Dover for at least two weeks, meaning she was very quick to give Javi a second chance. However, many fans have pointed out that she’s still not wearing her engagement ring, as evidenced by the photo above. Obviously, this is not the first time that Marroquin has been unfaithful. He allegedly cheated on Kailyn Lowry numerous times during their brief marriage. And yet, the father of two keeps worming his way back into the good graces of the women in his life. How is this possible? Well, it seems the phenomenon is at least partially due to the fact that Javi has mastered the art of the schmaltzy, melodramatic apology. “Lauren, I’m sorry for my mistakes, I’m sorry I broke your heart, I’m sorry I disrespected you,” he wrote in an open letter posted to his Instagram page shortly after his latest cheating scandal went public. “I’m sorry I took you for granted. I could say sorry for a million other things but I’m sorry will never be enough,” Marroquin continued. “I will do everything in my power to become a better man and hopefully one day you can forgive me,” he added. “I’ll do anything to have you home.” Some would argue that he should have worked on that “becoming a better man” business after the last time he got caught cheating, but we digress. Elsewhere in the letter, Javi turned his attention to his two young sons: “I failed you as a father and failed at my attempt to show you both what it is to be a man,” he wrote. “I promise you both my actions will not reflect on how you will treat women, let alone the one you love.” It may not seem like Javi has been the greatest role model to his sons, but he may be useful as an example of what not to do: Don’t cheat on your fiance; don’t make private matters public, and — most importantly — never get into CrossFit. Source: Earl Gibson III / Getty On Monday, The Washington Post reported that the Women’s March cut ties with three of its founding members — Tamika Mallory, Bob Bland, and Linda Sarsour — and replaced them by electing three new members of the board as directors. That information, however, was not accurate. NewsOne recently obtained the Women’s March by-laws and they show that Bland, Mallory and Sarsour were serving two-year terms as directors. Those terms have expired, which means, by rule, at least three new directors had to be elected. However, according to the by-laws, one of those directors must be one of the co-chairs of the 2017 Women’s March on Washington and the “director shall be nominated by the Founding Co-Chairs Committee.” This is why Carmen Perez , the fourth founding member who is also on the new board, maintains her position since she was one of the co-chairs of the 2017 march. According to the by-laws, “Any director may resign at any time by giving written notice to a Co-President or Secretary of the Corporation.” The by-laws also state that “Any director may be removed, with cause, by a vote of a majority of the members or by a vote of a majority of the entire Board.” Contrary to mainstream reporting , Mallory, Bland and Sarsour did not step down or cut ties with the Women’s March because of past controversy such as the anti-Semitism accusations aimed at the group. Instead their terms as directors merely expired and they are liable to return to official positions in the future. Though past controversies could have been brought up when discussing transitions, there is no proof so far that this is the case. According to the by-laws, “the directors shall be elected every two years at a meeting of members, and each shall continue in office until her or his successor shall have been duly elected and qualified, or until her or his death, resignation or removal.” Meanwhile, the new 17-member board is made up of diverse activists, including a former legislator, a transgender organizer, two religious leaders and a member of the Oglala tribe of the Lakota nation. The founding board members spent a little over two years finding new members who can serve on the board for the next two years. They recruited a committee to help select the applications after an open call was announced in March. According to CBS Sports , Kaepernick’s agent has contacted various teams this week in hopes of landing a quarterback position for his client. However, the teams aren’t biting. ESPN commentator Stephen A. Smith says that Kaepernick’s camp has reached out to the Steelers. “Essentially, they’re not interested,” Smith said this week. Smith further explained that Kaepernick’s camp “contacted the Jets, no word on them yet. They’ve contacted the Saints. They didn’t get their phone calls returned.” To make matters worse, all three of these teams have added a quarterback since Tuesday morning. The Saints signed J.T. Barrett to their practice squad and he’ll be their No. 3 player behind Teddy Bridgewater and Taysom Hill. The Steelers added Paxton Lynch to their practice squad on Tuesday and the Jets reportedly signed David Fales on Wednesday. According to Smith, Kaepernick didn’t even want to be a starting quarterback. The sports commentator says he spoke with Kaepernick’s girlfriend, Nessa Diab , last week. According to Smith, Diab told him that Kaep would be open to a backup job. “One of the things that Nessa Diab told me last week when she and I met, she said, ‘Colin Kaepernick trains five days a week, every day, all five days, at 5 a.m.,’” Smith said. “‘Working out a minimum of three hours a day, if not longer. He’s ready to go. He wants to be back in the NFL and it doesn’t have to be as a starting quarterback. It could be as a backup quarterback.’” Yet, NFL teams still seem to be staying clear of Kaepernick. This says a lot if Kaep is willing to be backup because it’s most likely he’ll be playing for backup money, which wouldn’t be a major money risk to the team that signs him. A lot of quarterbacks from major teams have also been facing injuries, so there’s usually a need for replacements. In just two weeks, Ben Roethlisberger, Drew Brees and Nick Foles have experienced serious injuries. Cam Newton also might miss a game in Week 3 due to a foot situation, and Sam Darnold is projected to miss multiple games due to mononucleosis. Meanwhile, Kaep has been ready to play. His practice videos that he posts on Instagram should serve as proof. But, per usual, the NFL still seems to be turning their back.
Bachelor in Paradise Season 6 is officially in the books. But while the book has been closed on the latest run of this ABC franchise, a brand new chapter has been opened for two couples from the show. We’ve already documented what transpired between Demi Burnett and Kristian Haggerty (SPOILER ALERT: They’re engaged!), and now we’re here with romantic update on another pairing. Let’s delve into Chris Bukowski and Katie Morton , shall we? On last night’s finale, Chris acknowledged the “hard” road down which he and Katie have gone… but also praised Morton for all the positive ways in which she’s influenced him. He then said he yearned to make the show’s end the best moment of their lives — so he got down on one knee — as Katie broke down in tears — and proposed. And she said yes! Hooray, right? Viewers first met Chris on season 8 of The Bachelorette , which aired in 2012. He was 25 years old at the time and Emily Maynard eliminated him after their hometown date. After appearing on Bachelor Pad season 3, Chris attempted to crash season 10 of The Bachelorette. It was pretty darn awkward adter Andi Dorfman opted not to let him join the program. He later attempted to find love on seasons 1 and 2 of Bachelor in Paradise before announcing his “retirement.” The guy has been around ABC a lot . Katie, meanwhile, was a contestant on Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor just a few months ago; she was sent home during week 6 of season 23. So that brings us up to their present and Tuesday night’s reunion special… Morton sitting opposite Chris Harrison WITHOUT an engagement ring on her finger. Uh-oh , guys. “We’re still engaged,” she assured viewers on the reunion, explaining in further detail: “I just put in so much effort every day and I love him so much, but I put in so much that my tank empties and if I’m not getting it filled, I break down. “It’s just the whole time at the beach he would tell others that he loves me and the only way I knew Chris loves me is the way he tells everyone else, not the way he shows me. “I love him, but I can’t speak as to how he makes me feel and the things he said and the things he did seemed so different.” That isn’t exactly a glowing endorsement of Bukowski or their relationship. What does this mean for their future? “I fell in love with potential that may never come to fruition, but I’m just praying it does,” Morton said. Again: this doesn’t sound very encouraging. Why doesn’t she just pull the plug on their engagement? “I don’t want to end things,” she said. “I’m just conflicted. I want it to get better but I want him to want it to be better.” Enter Chris, who came out on stage and tried to explain his side of things. “We take things day by day, and I think we do get better every day,” he said. “It’s a rollercoaster. Earlier this month, Kylie Jenner appeared on the cover of Playboy . Obviously, as a new mom and the world’s youngest “self-made” billionaire , Kylie could have discussed any number of topics in the interview that accompanied her racy pictorial. And while she touched on subjects like her booming cosmetics line and her love for her young daughter, there was one topic that dominated the discussion: Kylie’s love for Travis Scott — who also snapped some of the pics that appeared in her spread — seemed to be at the forefront of the 22-year-old’s mind. So it was that much more of a shock this week when fans noticed a subtle indication that Kylie and Travis may have called it quits on Jenner’s Instagram page. At first glance, it may seem that there’s nothing out of the ordinary about this selfie Kylie posed for in her walk-in closet. After all, Kylie posts selfies like it’s her job — which, in a sense, it is. But eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice that Kylizzle had made a minor change chat could have major implications. If you look at the dresser behind Kylie, you’ll see that it’s completely bare on top. Now, compare it to this photo that was snapped in the same spot just 6 weeks ago: That’s a framed photo of Kylie and Travis that seems to have disappeared. And that was no temporary piece of decor, either. The photo appeared in the background of a number of selfies, stretching back for several months. And the fact that it’s mysteriously disappeared has fans thinking Kylie is trying to send a subtle message to the public. Also raising eyebrows is Kylie’s caption for the pic, which reads, “Ain’t a game, boy.” One of Kylie’s best friends, Yris Palmer, further stirred the pot by commenting, “Made for one player.” Now, Kylie and Travis breakup rumors seem to surface at the rate of about one per month. The couple’s most severe rough patch occurred when Travis was allegedly caught cheating while on tour earlier this year. But it certainly wasn’t the last time that these two appeared to be on the verge of calling it quits. So is this just another case of the rumor mill running amok, or is there really trouble in paradise? It may be quite some time before we know for sure. 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? stars Nicole Nafziger and Azan Tefou have weathered wild rumors about each other and their relationship. This time, it’s a little more serious, because Nicole and Azan really will not be returning to next season of Happily Ever After? And fans are now confronting her about the rumor that she was fired from the show after laying hands on Azan. Rumors exist, especially if you’re a reality star — no matter how much or little of yourself you share with the world. Sometimes, these rumors take the form of widely circulated reports that ultimately don’t pan out and are debunked. Other times, it’s a wild claim passed around in a whisper. This is one of those times. 90 Day Fiance fans were actually claiming that Nicole and Azan are through with 90 Day Fiance … because of an incident when they finally met up. The claim is that Nicole became violent with Azan, and TLC pulled the plug on their 15 minutes of fame. Multiple people brought this up in the comments under a gorgeous selfie of Nicole’s we’re sorry to say. “Is it true that you and Azan won’t be on TLC anymore because you were physically violent with him?” one impertinent fan asked. “No,” Nicole replied, with more patience than most of us would have shown. She did clarify that part of that rumor, at least, is true — they’re off the show. “We aren’t going to be on another season,” she explains. “Because we chose not to go on again right now.” Obviously, it’s wise to not always take a reality star’s reply to this sort of question at face value. A domestic abuser is rarely going to fess up to it at all, especially on Instagram. And plenty of reality stars have announced that they’ve lost interest in stardom when really they’ve just been let go from the cast. But Nicole is dramatic enough to be asked back to the show. And we definitely believe that she wasn’t fired for abusing Azan. It’s kind of hard to get violent with your fiance when there’s a whole ocean between you. She hasn’t seen him in person in a while. Fans have worried about Nicole for years, given that she keeps clinging to a long-term relationship that appears from the outside to be in limbo. A lot of people think that it’s just thirst that keeps her waiting even as he drags his feet. (Case in point, look at the photo of Azan above; plenty of Americans would let him string them along for the chance at intimate video chats) Others think that she’s “desperate” for a man and willing to cling to the “illusion” of Azan rather than look for a husband closer to home. These rumors range from concerned to deeply unkind, but fan opinions have never swayed her. Nicole has explained that she’s not bothered by what outside perspectives assume about her relationship. Despite every setback, she remains committed to her relationship with Azan and to their eventual marriage and lives in the US. Honestly? No matter how the romance began, it seems clear that Nicole and Azan love each other. The question, however, is whether — after canceled vacations and unexplained trip delays — love is enough anymore. Should either of them be putting their lives on hold if it means pining across an ocean instead of being together? But Nicole is no more bothered by doubts than she is by wild claims about her “firing” from the show. Real talk? She’s been posting for months about how she feels kind of “over it” when it comes to reality television. She recently shared an update of her back to work at Starbucks — which means that she sounds serious about living her normal life. If you’re a Counting On fan, then you’re probably aware that we’re in the midst of a full-blown Duggar baby boom . Of course, the expectant mom who’s received the least attention from the more famous branch of the family is the so-called “rebel Duggar,” cousin Amy. (Yes, at this point the “rebel” label has been applied to several members of the clan, but Amy was the OG defiant one.) In case you were unaware, Amy is pregnant with her first child , and she’s clearly overjoyed. She might not be receiving quite the same level of recognition as some of her baby bump-sporting cousins, but we’re sure that’s perfectly fine by Amy. Rumors that the 32-year-old has been cut off by the rest of the clan have been disproven (despite reports to the contrary, several Duggar daughters attended Amy’s baby shower ), and she seems to be having a lot of fun sharing pregnancy updates with her devoted fan base. Earlier this week Amy posed for the final photoshoot of her pregnancy (she’s due in October), and as you can see from the pic above, she got a little creative with the imagery. “Each week the belly gets bigger, the wait gets shorter but the love grows so much stronger for you baby boy!” Amy captioned the photo. “#milkbathphotography What a fun / relaxing photo shoot My skin was soo soft too… extra bonus!” she added. Milk bath photos are fairly common among expectant moms, and you don’t need a degree in semiotics to understand the symbolism. In most cases, the subject of the photo is nude, but Amy chose to remain fully-clothed, which is obviously her prerogative. But as with pretty much everything involving the Duggars, someone just had to complain in the comments section: “Oh God… This isn’t a real milk bath pic… You have to be naked but of course the Duggars would disown you if you did that,” one follower wrote. Never one to shy away from a conflict, Amy was quick to clap back: “I can do whatever I want, I am my own person. My last name is King last time I checked,” she wrote. “I didn’t want to be naked. I love the classiness of this shot instead! I love how @samanthat.photography styled it!” It seems to us that Amy made her stance pretty clear: She chose not to pose nude, but that’s not because of Jim Bob’s influence, or because she shares the ultra-conservative views on sex She wore clothes for the pic simply because she felt like wearing clothes for the pic. But as OK! magazine points out, one fan felt the need to further defend Amy by expanding on her comments: “Just because Amy dresses a little different than her cousin’s doesn’t mean she wants to be naked for the Internet to see. My goodness,” the commenter wrote . “Also she is a grown woman who makes her own decisions.” The Duggar defender continued from there, writing: “Everyone has there own beliefs in modesty. Even the Duggar girls dress how they want. Some wear pants and some wear dresses and skirts. “They are all adults and should live as adults. They all have love for the Lord and that’s all that matter.” We don’t know if the girls and women of the Duggar clan have quite as much freedom as this person claims, but the important thing is that Amy does — and she’s taking full advantage of it.
