The comments came to the public light last week while the blogger sat on TS Madison’s show “The Queen’s Court”. [Click here to see the clip of Funky Dineva calling Blue Ivy “ugly”]. In his apology video, Funky Dineva appears to give his most sincere “sorry” to the public. He says he “f*cked up” as a comedian and spoke too quickly. He also recognizes that he crossed the line and asks fans to charge it to his head and not his heart. Do you believe him?
Source: JB Lacroix / Getty Another day, another public child support battle starring Blac Chyna . Rob Kardashian recently claimed that due to economic troubles with his business, he can no longer afford to give Chyna $20,000 a month in child support payments for their 2-year old daughter Dream. But Chyna was not pleased. The former model and reality star took to social media to respond to Rob’s claims, ranting, “So’ my children aren’t Supposed to live the same lifestyle as their fathers ETC ETC ha? As a single mother, I provide for them and give them the luxury lifestyle they deserve…..Wow!!!” Judging by her recent lucrative, yet ridiculous, venture with skin lightening products going for $250 a pop, Chyna is probably making more money right now than both her baby daddies. But even that probably wouldn’t stop her from collecting their coins.

The newest addition to RHOA was on Wendy Williams this week and spoke on a number of topics including her Bravo debut and her fellow housewives. Things got especially interesting however when Eva spoke on her “ Deuces” baby daddy Kevin McCall whose been an absent father in her daughter Marley Rae’s life. Eva once again affirmed that Marley’s real dad is her new husband Michael Sterling. “What’s amazing to me is that he thinks that biology is more important than being present,” said Eva. “Like, Marley knows her dad [Michael]. He picks her up from school. He gives her her life lessons. That’s her dad.” Not only that she also added that because of his “extremely dysfunctional behavior”, he’s not in a safe space for himself or others so he shouldn’t be around their baby girl. Back in January Eva told Essence that she has no relationship with Kevin and is keeping it that way. “We don’t have a relationship. He’s blocked on all my social media. I have full custody of my daughter and her dad is Michael Sterling, so he is a blast from the past and a memory. I do not let him affect my day-to-day in any shape, form or fashion, but I do pray him success, and moreso than anything, peace of mind. Marley is the priority, the biggest priority of my life, outside of my newest child and my fiancé. And at the end of the day, despite personal feelings, she deserves a level of stability, tranquility, and sanity. And [that’s] my job as a parent, no matter how hard it is for me to provide that for her, but that’s my job.” Source: David Livingston / Getty Eva makes a good point, Kevin isn’t very stable. Remember when he hinted that he was disowning little Marley? Do what’s best for your daughter, sis. See more of Eva on Wendy below.

Photo by Christopher Furlong/Getty Images Rapper Hollywood Play Shot Dead In Front Of Queens Lounge A rapper was gunned down in front of a lounge in Queens, New York where he was hosting a birthday party early on Sunday morning, according to authorities. 35-year-old Frank Snyder, known by the stage name “Hollywood Play,” reportedly stepped out of Tavern Lounge on Jamaica Avenue at about 3:15 a.m. According to police, a black sedan then pulled up in front of the club, and a gunman got out and began firing toward the lounge. Snyder was shot once in the leg and once in his neck, authorities said. He was immeadiately rushed to Jamaica Hospital and there he was pronounced dead. It was not immediately clear if Hollywood Play was the intended target of the shooting, according to police, but a bartender at the lounge said that the shooter did appear to be aiming for the rapper. “They targeted him,” Tiesajah Reynolds said Sunday morning. “There was a couple other people outside. I feel like they had to wait for the right moment to get him. I don’t understand, why him? Why come after him? They had to be waiting for him.” The bartender later added that she heard a car speed away from the scene after the shots, and believed it may have been a drive-by shooting. A friend and fellow rapper who goes by the name Chedda Boss said he was absolutely stunned by the news. “When I woke up and saw [on social media] ‘RIP,’ I’m like, no, not my man Frankie. And my first thought was, damn, I hope he didn’t pass away in a car accident,” he said. “I would never have thought he’d gotten shot, because that’s not the kind of life that he lived.” Snyder was hosting a birthday party at the lounge on Saturday night before the fatal shooting, according to social media posts. “HollywoodPlay & #straightMovin presents #BringYaFriendsSaturdays,” read a post on Snyder’s Instagram prior to the celebration. Any more information on the motive or identity of the shooter is still unknown.
John Stillwell – PA Images/PA Images via Getty Images DJ Quik Reflects On Michael Jackson’s Influence At His Diamond Celebration In Las Vegas It’s hard to believe it’s been nearly a decade since Michael Jackson passed away, but his influence continues to reach far and wide. Bossip’s Senior Director of Content Janeé Bolden attended Michael Jackson’s Diamond Celebration in honor of what would have been Jackson’s 60th birthday a few weeks ago, where guests enjoyed a live performance of Michael Jackson’s “ONES” show at Mandalay Bay and an afterparty deejayed by Mark Ronson, where Usher performed. Besides taking in the performance, we also had a chance to chat with Michael’s brothers Tito and Jackie Jackson about Jackson’s legacy and hear DJ Quik reveal he nearly had the chance to open for Michael. Judy Eddy/WENN.com “He would be smiling down at this event,” Tito told BOSSIP. “We’re very excited to celebrate his birthday and his legacy with all the celebrities who’ve come out tonight.” Jackie modeled a pair of new Giuseppe Zanotti x Michael Jackson sneakers as the designer himself also walked the red carpet. “It’s a new shoe, it comes out in October,” Jackie told BOSSIP. “It’s just one style of it, but I dig it. I’m going to wear it onstage too.” When asked if the family had any plans for a private celebration of Michael’s 60th, Tito reminded us that much of his family doesn’t believe in such commemorations. “As you now, half of my family is Jehovah Witness,” Tito said. “And the ones that do celebrate, you’re looking at them right now.” Besides Tito and Jackie, Michael’s oldest children Prince and Paris were also in attendance. Other celebrity guests included Gabrielle Union, Vanessa Hudgens, Blake Griffin, Usher, Angela Bassett, Evan Ross and Ashlee Ross Simpson and rapper/producer DJ Quik. Quik told us he was especially happy to join MJ’s Diamond Celebration because he’d nearly been an opener for the pop superstar at one point in his career. “I never got a chance to see Michael live,” DJ Quik told BOSSIP. “My opportunity came when his promoter Terry Harvey called me to open some of his shows that he was going to do at the O2 Arena back in 2009. I was stoked. I had just put out a record with Kurupt and we were on a promo tour. Our promo tour started June 25, 2009 [the day Jackson died] so you know what day that was. While we were soundchecking, we get the news we’re not going to Europe and performing with him.” “I was out of it,” Quik added. “I don’t even know if I performed. I was hurt.” Quik took a moment to stroll down memory lane with us, remembering back to the first time he saw Jackson’s “Thriller” video: “We didn’t have cable at that point,” Quik told BOSSIP, “so I was across the street at my homeboy Billy Ray Smith’s house watching it on their cable TV — you know, back when the TV’s used to sit on the floor? One of them big RCA or Zenith TVs and being moved by it.” “We had seen all the rock’n’roll videos, Def Leppard and all that, but when his video came on it spoke right to us. It let us know that black people could do it.” Judy Eddy/WENN.com Asked to describe which Michael Jackson song best reflects his life, Quik, born David Blake, didn’t hesitate a beat. “‘Human Nature,’ because that record describes the whimsical part of life,” Quik said. “Michael Jackson was a dreamer and he was all about ooh’ing and aah’ing people. That record just has some kind of quality in it that lets you know you can be magic too.” With Prince and Paris Jackson in attendance and accompanied by his own son David Jr. Quik also took a moment to reflect on the importance of legacy. “It’s important because nobody is going to represent you like the people that you raised,” Quik said. “You can hire people publicists all day long and tell them to run this or run that, but when my son speaks about me he is going to speak from the heart. He’s going to speak about the personal experiences and public.” Quik’s son is also a producer and the Compton native said he couldn’t be more proud of him. “This kid is awesome. He did it on his own,” Quik boasted. “I didn’t have to tell him hey son do this or do that. Now I ask him for beats. ‘Can I rap on it one time? I still got it son, I think I still got it.’Now he’s performing, he’s engineering. I’m really proud of the stuff he does behind the scenes, he’s in the studio teaching other people how to engineer, how to patch wires… He got it honest.” Check out more photos from MJ’s Diamond Celebration below:
The Royal Wedding may be over, but the Royal Life has only just begun for Meghan Markle. Mere days after she captured the heart of a nation by exchanging vows with Prince Harry, Markle made her first official appearance. Not as Meghan Markle, of course. But as The Duchess of Sussex. Equipped with this new title and the perfect look to go along with it, Markle attended a 70th birthday party in honor of her father-in-law, Prince Charles. He is also the man who walked Meghan down the aisle last Saturday after Meghan’s own father fell victim to some health problems. Prince Harry and his lovely wife arrived at Buckingham Palace in London on Tuesday afternoon to attend a garden party for the former’s dad, a gathering that caused the newlyweds to postpone their honeymoon. It remains unclear exactly where the couple will vacation when they do finally get away from it all, but most Royal Sources assume it will be somewhere in Africa. For this festive occasion, Harry went with a classic black suit over a white button-down shirt and a blue necktie. Markle, whose fashion will now be scrutinzed for the rest of her life, donned a pale pink hat and a blush-colored Goat dress with sheer detailing. She styled her brunette hair in a chic side chignon. In photos from the party, Markle is seen sharing a laugh Charles and with Charles and Duchess Camilla, as over 6,000 people actually attended this celebration. Prince Charles does not turn 70 until November 14, but this event served to honor patronage, military affiliations and the charities he supports. The gathering also recognized the emergency personnel who responded to the terror attack at Ariana Grande’s concert at the Manchester Arena, which took place exactly one year ago on Tuesday. Such an awful tragedy. In the days since the wedding, Prince Charles has received heaps of praise in the British press for the welcome he offered to Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland. At one point, he was seen taking Doria’s hand in the chapel when she was overcome with the emotion of the big day. Later, he walked with her as he departed the chapel alongside his wife. Harry and Meghan, of course, tied the knot in front of approximately 600 guests at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on Saturday, May 19. Later that night, they celebrated at a private reception – hosted by Charles – with about 200 of their close friends and family members. They haven’t said anything in public yet about the wedding, but the newlyweds did pose for this gorgeous photos shortly after they made their union official: Simply breathtaking, isn’t it? “The couple will be going on honeymoon, but not straightaway,” said Kensington Palace spokesman Jason Knauf, adding: “They will have their first engagement as a married couple in the week after the wedding.” At some point, we’d also have to imagine Markle and Harry sit down for a joint interview as a married couple. Until then, we’ll just need to be content with the many photos and videos from the Royal Nuptials, some of which we’ve shared shared below. Click around and enjoy! Source: FOX Image Collection / Getty It’s back to business as usual at Empire Records, and there’s always the proverbial snake in the grass lurking too. We start with Lucious popping awake from a bad dream about the night his car blew up, and now his Lyon senses are tingling. In other words, he suspects that Andre might have something to do with trying to kill him so he tells Thirsty to get to investigating. In other news, Eddie (Lucious’ Uncle) and Giselle (Eddie’s ex-wife) are part of Empire’s staff now. They’re exes, but they’re in deep financial trouble so of course, they’re going to try to use Empire for a come up. This is actually a good time for scheming because Empire is making money moves with their streaming service. Eddie and Giselle brought a new investor to the table and Cookie and Lucious are down with the partnership. Unfortunately, said business partner is down to steal Empire right along with Eddie and Giselle and later on in the episode, he mentions that he’s actually going to buy Empire based on the moves they made, but Eddie said he’ll deal with telling Lucious what’s up. The other part to this sneaky takeover is that Eddie has been going around planting divisive bugs in people’s ears. He lowkey convinced Jamal to drop out of the upcoming 20 for 20 Celebration, and while working with Tiana on her music, he tells her that she can’t let Hakeem distract her from her music. Later on, Hakeem proposes to her and she says she needs to think about it because she can’t have any distractions. It was that easy. via GIPHY Speaking of 20 for 20, there’s an old Empire act that they didn’t invite back. It’s one of Empire’s first acts, a girl group called “TBD” (with Tisha Campbell guest starring as the lead), and they are so salty that they’re on TV telling everyone who will listen that they got beef. They plan to release their own anniversary album, which will include a dis track that spills all the tea on Empire. But you know the Lyons ain’t having that. Cookie shows up to a TBD performance at a mall to handle her business. The group is a bunch of has-beens so they need all the money and attention they can get. Cookie offers them a deal with Empire for their anniversary album. They says they’ll be in the studio as long as they get an apology from Lucious for…whatever it is that he knows he did. You know pre-accident Lucious was trash. Later on, Lucious apologizes, but they don’t accept it because they think it’s disingenuous. They start talking about how Lucious sabotaged their last album, they feel some type of way about Cookie running things, etc—basically, they’re returning the petty and just like that, they leave because they say that have another deal on the table anyway. However, Lucious points out that it’s a smaller label with less money. Cookie is obviously annoyed when she learns it didn’t work out, but Lucious says he’s going to show her how to get it done the “Old fashion Empire way.” Uh oh. via GIPHY Surprisingly, the Empire way isn’t violent, but there are chess moves involved. Empire acquires the label TBD decided to sign too so now they’re stuck. The conditions are that they take back their dis track, apologize to Empire now, and perform at the showcase. If all goes well then they get to keep their reunion album. Finally, the episode winds down with a Lyon family dinner. It starts off innocently enough, with Cookie and Lucious telling Dre that he’s still going to be able to take the reigns of the business, not now, but down the line when he’s better. However, what is a Lyon family function without the dysfunction? via GIPHY Fast forward a bit. Dre and Lucious are alone in another room and Dre finally admits to Lucious he called the bomb. He said he tried to call it off if that’s any consolation, then hands Lucious a gun and tells him to do what he has to do. Lucious snaps and pistol whips Jamal. Think about this, Dre almost killed Cookie too. He didn’t anticipate Cookie getting in that car but that’s what happened, and we know how Lucious feels about her so that’s what that rage was really about. Luckily for Jamal, the rest of the Lyons rushed in and break it up. Hakeem and Jamal express how disappointed they are in Dre. They point out all the messed up things Lucious did to them, as well as the fact that they never tried to kill him. Cookie and Lucious are chatting at the same time in another room. Lucious says she doesn’t know what to do but he’s obviously shaken. Cookie tries to get Lucious to be positive by pointing out that Dre wasn’t in his right mind and that he’s getting back to his old self,, but then she collapses and says she can’t feel her right arm. Issa heart attack. Hopefully, we’ll find out Cookie’s fate next week.
