Lex McAllister, Former Bachelor Contestant, Dead of Apparent Suicide

Lex McAllister, a contestant on season 14 of The Bachelor – has been found dead. According to TMZ, authorities believe that McAllister took her own life by overdosing on prescription medications. Lex’s family says she suffered from bipolar disorder and depression throughout her life. Early reports indicate that a 911 call was received on Saturday afternoon after McAllister was found unconscious in her home. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where her condition quickly stabilized. Sadly, McAllister reportedly took an unexpected turn for the worse on Sunday, when her organs began to shut down. On Monday, her family made the difficult decision to remove her from life support, and she passed away on Tuesday afternoon. McAllister was featured on one of the show’s most popular seasons, in which Jake Pavelka  served in the title role. Shockingly, she is not the first season 14 cast member to take her own life, as fellow contestant  Gia Allemand committed suicide  in 2013. Following Allemand’s death, Pavelka spoke openly of his shock and grief. There’s no word on whether or not he’s been informed of McAllister’s passing. A successful career woman, McAllister’s Twitter page describes her as a “business development expert, franchise consultant and entrepreneur.” Her family has requested privacy during this difficult time. Manny Pacquiao Says Gay People Are Worse Than Animals Boxing star Manny Pacquiao apologized today for stating that gay relationships were as “worse than animals” but stands by his opposition to same-sex marriage according to ESPN reports: Fellow Filipino celebrities were among those criticizing his remarks, made when a TV network asked candidates about their views on same-sex marriage. “It’s just common sense,” Pacquiao said in the remarks posted online by the TV5 network. “Have you seen any animal having male-to-male or female-to-female relations?” Animals, he said, were better because they recognize gender differences, and “if you have male-to-male or female-to-female [relationships], then people are worse than animals.” Among those who reacted strongly was popular gay comedian and TV host Jose Marie Viceral, known as Vice Ganda. Vice Ganda tweeted that lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders are humans, not animals. He said that they’re not saints but that they’ll pray for the boxer, who is widely acclaimed for bringing his country honors. Vice Ganda posted a picture of Pope Francis, suggesting that even the beloved leader of the Roman Catholic church does not condemn gays. Kanye West is going off the rails, Kim Kardashian is reportedly talking to divorce lawyers.  It's a mess.  Things are messy. The public is used to celebrities going on Twitter rants, and the latest is no exception. West sounded absolutely crackers yesterday on the social media network, sending out tweet after tweet about needing money to make more music, and begging Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg for a loan. ” I write this to you my brothers while still 53 million dollars in personal debt… Please pray we overcome… This is my true heart…”  “Mark Zuckerberg I know it’s your bday but can you please call me by 2mrw… “I don’t have enough resources to create what I really can… Mark, I am publicly asking you for help…” West's co-writer Rhymefest, made it known that he believes West needs to take a time-out. When an Australian fan tweeted, “I wish @RHYMEFEST was co-writer of #KanyeWest 's Twitter & media statements. Worked with the music, should work with the other stuff, right?,” the rapper and songwriter responded: “My brother needs help , in the form of counseling. Spiritual & mental. He should step away from the public & yesmen & heal,” and later added “his mind and spirit isn't right.” Radar Online believes that Kardashian is contemplating divorce, interpreting her latest Instagram video, featuring the mom-of-two rolling around on a bed of roses as “icy.” “Hard to love a girl like me,” Nina Simone sang as Kardashian giggled into a flower. “I don’t blame you much for wanting to be free.” This doesn't look like a woman upset over her broken marriage.  It looks like Kardashian is, yet again, showing off her “artsy” side.

Antonin Scalia Dies; Supreme Court Justice Was 79

Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia was reportedly found dead in his room at a luxury resort in West Texas this morning. He was 79 years old. Law enforcement officials report that Scalia appears to have died from natural causes. Sources close to the situation say that Scalia was vacationing at the resort with a large group of friends. When he did not appear at breakfast this morning, a hotel employee entered his room and found that he had passed away during the night. The Supreme Court’s longest-serving justice, Scalia was appointed to his post by President Ronald Reagan in 1986. He was the Court’s first Italian-American justice. Texas Governor Ted Abbott issued the following statement about Scalia just moments ago: “ He was the solid rock who turned away so many attempts to depart from and distort the Constitution. His fierce loyalty to the Constitution set an unmatched example, not just for judges and lawyers, but for all Americans. “We mourn his passing, and we pray that his successor on the Supreme Court will take his place as a champion for the written Constitution and the Rule of Law. ” Texas senator and current presidential hopeful Ted Cruz issued a statement calling Scalia “one of the greatest Justices in history.” Scalia is survived by his wife of 56 years and his nine children. Bill Murray SNAPS, Throws Fans’ Cell Phones Off the Roof!!

Bill Murray is adored the world over as a comedic legend and loveable curmudgeon, but we know of three fans who are likely not amused by his recent behavior. While attending a party at a Carmel, Calif. restaurant thrown by Justin Timberlake, Murray reportedly snapped when fans began taking photos of him with their cell phones, according to Gossip Cop. Fed up with the invasion of privacy, the actor grabbed the phones and chucked them off the restaurant’s second floor rooftop.  This sounds exactly like something his prima donna character in Groundhog Day might do. But we haven’t heard news of a sequel. Police arrived shortly after hearing about the incident, but Murray had already left the restaurant. However, a police spokeswoman confirmed that two of the phones were damaged, and that the movie star agreed to pay for them. It’s no secret that the highest price of fame is privacy and we’ve seen celebs go off on paparazzi many times. However, it’s rare that we see one actually lash out at fans. We’re not sure what got Mr. Bill so fired up last night. Surely he’s used to fans snapping photos of him, and he reportedly did very well in the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am golf tournament that day. The star played alongside other stars like Timberlake, Ray Romano, Andy Garcia and Kenny G in the tournament. Murray isn’t really a total stranger to kooky behavior, but next time we hope he sticks to photobombing engagement pics and bad dancing to Lil Jon . Pauley Perrette: I Was Attacked By a Homeless Guy! AGAIN!

Most people know Pauley Perrette as the goth forensic scientist Abby Sciuto on NCIS. Officers of the LAPD, however, are getting to know her as the woman who keeps randomly getting attacked by homeless people. Back in November,  Perrette claimed she was assaulted outside her house by a homeless man who was later arrested based on her description. Now, the 46-year-old actress has taken to Twitter to share yet another lengthy account of a bizarre run-in: Perrette says it all started when she was stopped in traffic and spotted a homeless man asking drivers for change. “He came to my window, to take my dollar. I said God Bless You,” Perrette wrote. “He grabbed my wrist and put his whole inside my car. “He was in my car and I was scared. I looked at my dashboard and first said, ‘I rebuke you satan (sic) in the name of Jesus Christ.” Perrette says the man then asked for the time, she replied, “It’s 5:37,” and he walked away. She also suggested that there were several witnesses who could have intervened, but chose not to. Pauley adds that she had a taser and tactical knife in her car, but chose not to use them. Not surprisingly, Perrette’s story has been met with a fair amount of skepticism online, as violent attacks from homeless men and women are statistically quite rare, and both of Pauley’s stories feature some downright bizarre details. Of course, we have no way of knowing if the incident actually went down as she described it, so we’ll just advise the actress to invest in a can of mace and play it as safe as possible going forward.
