First, the singer unveiled the cover art for her upcoming album, “Confident.” It’s featured above and we understand if you may require a few moments hours to stare, fellas. Demi is looking good! Then, Lovato went ahead and announced that the album will be released in October, whetting the appetites of fans who can’t wait to hear new music from the superstar. So that’s two surprises. The rest all came courtesy of Demi’s famous friends, who used their own Twitter accounts to list the name of each track on Lovato’s upcoming album. Celebrities such as Wilmer Valderrama, Nick Jonas, Iggy Azalea and Kim Kardashian all shared one song title each until followers got a glimpse at all 13 track names. Pretty creative, right? Virginia, and the nation as a whole, are in a state of mourning today after WDBJ7 reporter Alison Parker and WDBJ7 photographer Adam Ward were killed while conducting a live interview around 6:45 a.m. today. Vester Flanagan , a disgruntled former employee at the station, is believed to have pulled the trigger before turning a gun on himself. Caitlyn Jenner Halloween Costume Hits Retailers A new costume has hit stores, emulating Caitlyn Jenner’s coming out cover of Vanity Fair. Naturally, people are calling it both transphobic and hilarious. Via NBCnews : It’s nowhere near October, but one ensemble is already on track to be named the most controversial Halloween costume of 2015. Social media users were out in full force on Monday criticizing several Halloween retailers for offering a Caitlyn Jenner costume reminiscent of the former-athlete’s Vanity Fair cover earlier this year. While Jenner’s supporters condemned the costume as “transphobic” and “disgusting” on Twitter, Spirit Halloween, a retailer that carries the costume, defended the getup. “At Spirit Halloween, we create a wide range of costumes that are often based upon celebrities, public figures, heroes and superheroes,” said Lisa Barr, senior director of marking at Spirit Halloween. “We feel that Caitlyn Jenner is all of the above and that she should be celebrated. The Caitlyn Jenner costume reflects just that.” Despite the company’s stated intentions, transgender activists are lashing out. After the stunning events of last week, the drama picked up with a vengeance once more on Bachelor in Paradise Season 2 Episode 7 Sunday. Heading into the rose ceremony, Tanner’s rose went to Jade Roper, while Kirk’s went to Carly, Joshua’s to Tenley, and Jared gave his to Ashley I. It came down to JJ and his choice of Megan, with whom he’d gone on a nice date, and Juelia, third wheel of Joe Bailey and Samantha Steffen . Or … his third option, Ashley Salter. She got the rose! Then to further play the hero, JJ peaced out of the show to pursue a girl back home instead. With JJ out, Juelia’s last home was Dan … who chose Amber, sending Juelia and Clare home in the process. Juelia cried … right into Mikey’s arms. Those two had flirted before, but when Juelia gave her rose to Joe, Mikey was sent packing – regrettably, in light of Joe being the worst person ever . Jon Stewart made his first television appearance since leaving The Daily Show on Sunday night, hosting SummerSlam from Brooklyn. It was something he did: Stewart ran into the ring during the John Cena-Seth Rollins match… grabbed a chair… and leveled Cena with it! Seriously! Jon Stewart turned heel at SummerSlam, helping supposed rival Rollings win the U.S. Title, causing the arena to erupt and coming closer to breaking the Internet than any Kim Kardashian nude photo ever could. Elsewhere during an unforgettable evening of WWE action: Sheamus defeated Randy Orton via a pair of Brogue Kicks. The New Day knocked off Prime Time Players, Los Matadores and Lucha Dragons to become WWE Tag Team Champions. Rusev and Dolph Ziggler ended in a double count out, which sucked. But also in Lana and Summer Rae rolling around in fighting, which sucked a lot less. Stephen Amell and Neville defeaued Stardust and King Barrett after the actor hyped Arrow Season 4 backstage… and then soared through the air off the top turnbuckle, becoming maybe the most impressive celebrity to ever hit the squared circle. Ryback defeated The Miz and The Big Show in a pretty quick triple threat match. No heel turn by either Dean Ambrose or Roman Reigns in their match against Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper, just a basic victory by the former tandem. Team PCB knocked off Team Bella and Team BAD in a Divas match. Kevin Owens used the Pop Up Powerbomb to defeat Cesara in a great match. The Undertaker got some Wrestlemania revenge by beating Brock Lesnar, but only after the timekeeper inadvertently rang the bell, thinking ‘Taker had tapped out. Former NFL cheerleader Molly Shattuck must spend 48 weekends in a work-release program as part of her sentence for raping a 15-year-old boy. She will serve out that time in a work-release detention center in Delaware; Shattuck, 48, was sentenced today for committing the sexual offense. Shattuck apologized after pleading guilty in June to one count of fourth-degree rape, an offense that could have carried a maximum of 15 years. “I was the adult, and I’m sorry,” Shattuck said through years. “I never should have had the conversation with someone else’s son and I’m sorry.” “I will spend the rest of my life making this right.” Shattuck was arrested back in November 2014 on charges of third-degree rape, unlawful sexual contact and giving alcohol to minors. A plea deal later reduced the charge to a less serious offense. Police said she performed oral sex on the boy, last Labor Day weekend. Shattuck, according to court records, had connected with the boy through her teenage son , the same age as him, and via social media. Over the summer, police said in affidavits, Shattuck and the boy exchanged sexualized texts and emails, and met in parked cars. The mother and father of the victim asked Superior Court Judge E. Scott Bradley to sentence Shattuck to more than just probation. Bradley sentenced Shattuck to two years of level 3 probation, however, meaning 48 weeks of work-release and $10,650 in restitution. Shattuck must register in Delaware as a Tier II sex offender, and not contact anyone younger than 18 other than her own children. “The competing interests in this case are very difficult to weigh,” Bradley said, explaining his decision to hand down that punishment.
You might not know the name Sam Rader, but you there’s a very good chance that you’re familiar with his work. Earlier this month, Rader “surprised” his wife Nia with news of her pregnancy , a feat he achieved by stealing her urine from a toilet. (It gets weirder.) Video of Nia’s reaction went viral, but just days later, the couple claimed to have suffered a miscarriage , and they shared the news online in a heartbreaking follow-up clip that’s amassed millions of view on YouTube. Since the two videos took Sam and Nia from little-known religious vloggers to bankable viral sensations overnight, many vocally wondered if the whole thing had been nothing more than a publicity stunt. But rather than angrily put their accusers in their place, Sam and Nia issued a confusing statement explaining that the pregnancy had been staged…by God. Back in May, the Josh Duggar molestation scandal rocked the world of reality television by shattering the image of one of its most beloved families. The 19 Kids and Counting clan was still reeling from the shock of that scandal when it was revealed this week that Josh cheated on his wife with the help of the adultery-facilitating website, Ashley Madison. Parents Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar have issued a statement addressing Josh’s latest indiscretions, but insiders say that may be the last we’ll hear from the family for a very long time: “We’re all hunkered down over here,” a family insider tells People magazine. “It’s just a mess, it’s a whole mess. We don’t even know what the truth is anymore. It’s insane.” “I would assume [Josh] feels like his life is ruined. It will be such a steep and practically impossible climb to come back from this.” The insider adds that the family is living in complete isolation at their compound in Arkansas, afraid to even go outside for fear of being photographed by lurking paparazzi.
