Justin Bieber is out of jail and riding high. The singer, who was arrested on a variety of charges this morning (DUI, driving with an expired license, resisting arrested) made his $2,500 bail this afternoon and was released from a Miami jail. He received raucous cheers and applause on his way out, as you can see/hear in this video, which includes footage of Bieber sitting on top of a black SUV: Justin Bieber Leaves Jail, Sits on Top of SUV Bieber looked to be in good spirits upon exiting the facility, which is a major change for how he appeared in court this morning during an embarrassing bail hearing . Celebrities have been piling on Bieber all day (Seth Rogen says he’s a “piece of sh-t”), while fans have been reading the official account of what went down around 4 a.m. According to police records, Justin was pulled over for drag racing while going about 20 miles an hour over the speed limit and while sitting next to model Chantel Jeffries . “What the f-ck did I do? Why did you stop me?” Justin asked cops when they approached his vehicle. At a press conference a few hours later, Miami Beach Police Chief Raymond Martinez said Bieber was “not cooperating with the officer’s instructions,” citing as an example the artist’s refusal to place his hands on the car. “At first, he was a little belligerent, using some choice words questioning why he was being stopped and why the officer was even questioning him,” Martinez said. Justin reportedly took issue with being searched (“I ain’t got no f-cking weapons,” the arresting officer quoted Bieber as saying.) and “made some statements that he had consumed some alcohol, and that he had been smoking marijuana and consumed some prescription medication,” according to Martinez. A TMZ report alleges Bieber told authorities the medication including Xanax and that his mother supplied him with the pills. The arrest report (above) describes Bieber as having a “flushed face, bloodshot eyes, and the odor of alcohol on his breath.” He registered .04 on a field sobriety test and will likely have his license suspended. So there’s some good news to come out of this, at least. For those in Bieber’s neighborhood at least. But this arrest is the culmination of a scandalous couple weeks for Bieber. He’s under investigation for pelting his neighbor’s home with eggs … was seen urinating his initials in the snow… and shelled out 75K at a Miami strip club. Justin wrote on Instagram a couple days ago that he ain’t worried about nothin … but perhaps it’s time for him to start worrying about many, many things.

Like daughter, sadly, like mother. A week after Ke$ha checked into a rehab facility outside of Chicago to deal with an eating disorder, the singer’s mother has gone ahead and followed suit. Pebe Sebert tells People that she is entering the same program as her daughter, telling the magazine today: “I’m checking myself into Timberline Knolls today for post-traumatic stress disorder, at Ke$ha’s urging.” Sebert has been vocal over the past few days about the role music producer Dr. Luke played in her daughter’s struggles , dating back to when he referred to Ke$ha as a “refrigerator” on the set of a music video in 2011. “This whole Dr. Luke thing has almost torn our family apart and taken over my life, and Ke$ha wants me to heal along with her,” Sebert said in her statement. Ke$ha entered rehab on January 3, admitting she is “seeking treatment for my eating disorder … to learn to love myself again. Exactly as I am.” We wish mother and daughter the best of luck.
