Breaking News– Model and Actress Kim Porter has died at the age of 47. She was known for her 13 year relationship with hip hop mogul Diddy. They shared 3 children together, twins Jessie James and D’Lila and Christian Combs. Diddy’s Rep confirmed that she has passed away saying “Sadly, I can confirm the passing of Kim Porter. I ask that you give the families privacy at this time.” TMZ is reporting that Kim had been suffering from flu-like or possibly pneumonia. She had reportedly been fighting this illness the last several weeks. Other sources told TMZ that Kim contacted her doctor yesterday saying she wasn’t feeling any better. Since the news of her death several celebrities have took to social media to post about Kim and send condolences.

Savenok / Getty Snoop Dogg To Receieve Star On Hollywood Walk Of Fame Snoop Dogg is finally getting his just due as one of the most unique, famous, and successful people that Hollyweird has ever laid eyes on. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Snoopy D-O-double-G will be receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on this coming Monday, November 19. His star will be the 2651st monument and will lay literally right in front of Jimmy Kimmel Live! studios. “Snoop Dogg is one of those people who can do anything. He raps, he acts, he hosts a television show, he cooks, and helps community kids with his philanthropic work,” said Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. “He is a man of the ages and we welcome him to our Hollywood Walk of Fame.” Jimmy will be on hand to honor the Doggfather along with his legendary producer Dr. Dre and another icon in Qunicy Jones. Sounds like it’s going to be one helluva ceremony. Someone better keep an eye on Quincy when he gets on the mic. Ain’t no telling what past secrets he’s liable to divulge about some party he and Snoop went to back in the day. We’re just sayin’… Congrats to Snoop! He’s the kush-scented Black excellence that we all deserve.

Surrogacy has been life-changing for many women whose path to become a mother was not as simple as getting pregnant on their own. This includes several high-profile celebrities like Kim Kardashian West and Gabrielle Union , who have been open and honest about their journey to motherhood through the surrogacy process, however many still don’t seem to know exactly what having a surrogate actually means. If you look at the comments underneath photos of celebrities who have used a surrogate to expand their families, you’ll see a host of trolls commenters who ask very insensitive, rude and downright ignorant questions about how a child can belong to a mother who did not actually carry her. Although a quick Google search could easily give you all the answers you need on the subject, but, the Internet. In an effort to educate, we’ve compiled everything you need to know about the process that has helped many women around the world fulfill their dream of becoming a mother. First off, it’s important to know that there are two types of surrogacy, gestational and traditional. Traditional surrogacy uses natural insemination and the eggs of the surrogate mother to successfully conceive, this is the option most women choose who no longer have viable eggs to use. A traditional surrogate is the baby’s biological mother because it was her egg that was fertilized by the father’s sperm, however donor sperm can also be used. Gestational surrogacy is done through IVF (in vitro fertilization) or intrauterine insemination and the eggs and/or sperm are taken from both the intended parents, or from a donor in the cases where using the eggs and sperm of the intended parents is not a viable option. Source: Mike Coppola / Getty For example, Kim Kardashian West and husband Kanye West welcomed their daughter Chicago earlier this year via gestational surrogate and they used Kim’s eggs and Kanye’s sperm to place inside their surrogate. This means that the child is 100% biologically theirs and shares no DNA with their surrogate. As a result of the actual genetic ties to the child, gestational surrogacy has become more common than traditional surrogacy. About 750 babies are born each year using gestational surrogacy and the process is less complex legally in the U.S. since both parents have genetic ties. As the process of utilizing a surrogate grows, the numbers are increasing. According to a 2016 report, there are more than 35,000 families using surrogacy out of the 80 million people who are affected by infertility. Once you’ve decided that surrogacy is the right route for you to take to expand your family, you then need to know how to choose the surrogate. As WebMD reports , you need to make sure your surrogate meets these requirements: (1) Is at least 21 years old, (2) Has already given birth to at least one healthy baby so she understands firsthand the medical risks of pregnancy and childbirth and the emotional issues of bonding with a newborn, (3) Has passed a psychological screening by a mental health professional to uncover any issues with giving up the baby after birth and (4) Signs a contract about her role and responsibilities in the pregnancy, such as prenatal care and agreeing to give you the baby after birth. Earlier this week, Gabrielle Union announced that she and husband Dwayne Wade welcomed a baby girl via surrogate, but many fans were puzzled about why she was seen wearing a hospital gown and lying in a hospital bed if she had given birth. Well, that process is known as “skin-to-skin” contact and it involves a newborn being placed directly on top on the intended mother for an immediate bonding experience. Since the baby was inside someone else for 9 months, it’s crucial that once born, the baby immediately forms the initial bond with the intended parents. On her long-running reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians , Kim Kardashian West featured her surrogate in an episode and she discussed the importance of skin-to-skin contact with the whole family. Now, it’s easy to get totally wrapped up in bringing a new bundle of joy into the world, but you also need to be aware of the legal issues and other formal procedures. Surrogacy laws related to parentage vary depending on the state. In states where surrogacy is not supported, intended parents must go through the adoption process to gain legal custody of the child once it’s born. By contrast, states where surrogacy is legal, intended parents are asked to file a pre-birth order known as a “declaration of parentage”. This document allows the intended parents to take home the child after birth and be declared on paper as the legal parents. It’s also stressed that couples have lawyers in place to review all documents, contracts and agreements, to avoid any incidents that may occur. Finally, the cost should definitely be considered because it is not cheap. Surrogacy in the U.S. can cost anywhere between $100,000 to $250,000, depending on the history of the agency used and other unknown costs, such as high-risk pregnancies, bed rest compensation and neonatal care. These costs include fees for the surrogate, agency, laboratory, medicines and hospital bills. The road to motherhood is different for everyone and if you opt to use surrogacy as your method then you should never let the uninformed opinions of others ruin the process of becoming a mother. If you choose to share your journey that’s fine, but you also have the right to keep things private. Here’s hoping that as more people become educated on exactly what surrogacy is, the ignorant comments will fall by the wayside. Will she stay or will she go? That is the question that has been following around Lisa Vanderpump for weeks. There was talk in late September that Vanderpump is no longer having fun as a cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills… … and Lisa Rinna told Us Weekly that the veteran Bravo star simply vanished for long periods of time during filming of the latest season. This has all led to speculation about Vanderpump’s future on the series, especially in the wake of her brother’s tragic passing. (As previously detailed, Mark Vanderpump died of a suspected drug overdose in May. He was 59 years old.) Might she actually leave the franchise? Despite all the money it has made for her and all the name recognition it has helped her achieve? We now have an answer — and that answer is yes . According to a network insider, per Radar Online, the drama between Lisa and the other ladies , specifically former best friends Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley, have become “too much” for Vanderpump to deal with. This may not have been the case in the past. But combine Mark’s passing with the many other projects that consume her time and Vanderpump is ready to leave the Housewives behind. “She was dealing with grief, filming Vanderpump Rules, opening [new restaurant] TomTom and running the Vanderpump Dog Foundation,” explains this Radar inside, adding: “She was not equipped to handle Housewives, even before the drama happened.” For those unfamiliar with the drama being referenced above: A source has said that Vanderpump got into a major argument with Kemsley after the latter adopted a puppy from Vanderpump Dogs — only to then drop it off at a shelter after the canine “nipped” at her young kids. Lisa stopped filming episodes of The Real Housewives soon after this went down, although Tom Schwartz told Us Weekly that his friend just needed a “mini sabbatical” after the death of her brother. Vanderpump has mostly mourned this loss in private, although she did issue a simple statement on Instagram shortly after Mark died. It read: “It’s been a devastating couple of weeks… one day at a time… I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all your love and support. Love Lisa xo.” Radar, however, writes that Vanderpump’s absence from shooting isn’t just some little break. It’s a full-fledged break- up . “She has no plans to return to the show,” the insider tells this website. “But who knows what the future holds.” Lisa, though, WILL return to Vanderpump Rules in the future and she also just announced a partnership with Caesars Palace to open Vanderpump Cocktail Garden in Las Vegas next year. Money can’t buy you class, but some help and some hard work can get you your sobriety — and a comeback. After missing last season’s reunion while in rehab , Luann is back. Not only is she filming scenes for the new season, she’s celebrating 100 days of being sober. Luann de Lesseps is back at it! By it, we mean filming . She is still very much not drinking, thankfully. TMZ reports that Countess Luann recently celebrated 100 days of sobriety. As of Wednesday, November 14, it has been 121 days since we reported that she was returning to rehab. (It may be that her celebration wasn’t so recent, or it may be that she’s not counting her time in rehab where there’s no temptation) According to TMZ , her extended sobriety has resulted in a “domino effect” across multiple areas of her personal life. And that positive spin has also extended to her professional life. Luann has returned as a Full Housewife for the new season of The Real Housewives of New York City . (We know that it was always expected, but there were people who thought that she’d quit or even get fired not so long ago) In fact, TMZ reports that the Countess is already filming scenes for the new season. After she missed the reunion taping last July, she had to play catch-up with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live . Recovering from a relapse can be rough, but hopefully, she won’t have to miss any filming this year. She’s definitley closing 2018 on a more positive beat than she did the year before. It’s been almost 11 months since Luann’s arrest in Florida in late 2017. At the time, what could have been an awkward incident — or, at worst, a trespassing charge — turned into a scandal. Luann apparently resisted arrest and even kicked an officer. It’s an understatement to say that she was under the influence of alcohol at the time. Though some have cynically suggested that she cleaned up her act as a ploy to avoid prison time, the arrest was a real wakeup call for Luann. Luann entered rehab and returned to her life. Everything seemed to go well for her … until this summer. After receiving some upsetting news — that her ex was suing her — she ended up relapsing. As is so often the case for people who abuse any kind of substance, she used the alcohol to self-medicate. Luann drank an unbelievable amount at that time and realized that she had let her guard down. So she returned to rehab, even though it mean missing the reunion special. Her health was worth it. Now, Luann has been sober for months. And she aims to stay that way. Some went so far as to suggest that Luann would no longer be “interesting” as a Housewife if she isn’t drinking. That is ridiculous, of course. Not everyone “needs” to drink in order to be fun or interesting. Without alcohol, Luann is healthier and happier and able to be more present. Good for her. The Real Housewives of Atlanta is back for Season 11. Unfortunately, ratings at the season premiere are lower than they’ve been in several years. Meanwhile, former Housewife Kenya Moore welcomed her first child … and she can’t help but smile. If you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online , you know that the show has been going on as before. Kandi and Porsha are struggling to approximate friendship after previously feuding. NeNe is grappling with Gregg’s cancer battle. But Kenya Moore is missing. She’s no longer on the show. In real life, however, she recently gave birth to a precious preemie baby, Brooklyn Doris Daly. And on Sunday, Kenya shared this precious photo for the world to see: Kenya hasn’t shown her adorable baby’s face yet, but a precious baby hand is more than enough to tide over her fans. Following being diagnosed with preeclampsia, which caused her feet to swell, Kenya was given a C-section . Kenya, though certainly not old by any reasonable metric, is considered “old” for pregnancy, so she always knew that there would be risks. Fortunately, it seems that the C-section was a success. Kenya is recovering, and was even feeling healthy enough to go on a Target run (in a motorized scooter, to be clear). And at 5 pounds and 12 ounces, baby Brooklyn was technically within the “normal” range for baby weights, if very close to the low end of the spectrum. But one person did not find Kenya’s sweet mother-daughter hand photo endearing in the least. “I can’t wit the calculations on Sunday’s,” NeNe Leakes wrote on Instagram. She tagged her vague post: “#thethirstisreal #weseeyou #wacks–t” The implication that NeNe seemed to be making was that Kenya timed her photo in a shady manner. Perhaps, for example, Kenya showed off her baby’s hand to distract fans from her former show. Or maybe she did it to remind Bravo of the kind of content that they’re missing out on since she’s no longer on the show. Whatever it is that NeNe believes that Kenya is up to … it’s unclear why NeNe felt the need to comment. Some might suspect that NeNe is feeling insecure because of what some tabloids have described as a “ratings crash.” The season premiere of The Real Housewives of Atlanta brought in 1.93 million viewers. That made it the lowest rated season opener since Season 5. That said, relatively low ratings for a premiere aren’t necessarily a huge crash. it’s not good news, but they had about the same number of viewers as recently as April 1 of 2018. Bravo may be concerned, but we can’t imagine that they’re panicking. That said, NeNe may be worried — because she’s the show’s highest paid star. That said, some people can’t help but connect the dots. Kenya’s firing was certainly the biggest change between last season and this season. Now, Kenya has everything she wanted — a loving husband and a precious newborn baby. In the mean time, The Real Housewives of Atlanta has taken a downward turn from being Bravo’s highest rated show. It may not have been Kenya’s choice to go overboard, but it’s looking like she may have jumped ship at a smart time. Or maybe people are less interested now that she’s off the show. Not every Real Housewives series is going to last or click with all viewers. But we don’t think that it’s time to start singing RHOA ‘s funeral dirge just yet. This season’s ratings may pick up. Hollywood lost a legend this week. As previously reported, Stan Lee died at the age of 95 . It didn't take long after this news broke for scores of tributes to come flooding in for the co-creator of Marvel, someone responsible for entertaining and educating millions upon millions of comic book fans. Many of these tributes, especially from celebrites, included a photo of the person making the tribute and Lee. Together. It was often a selfie. What's the big deal? Isn't this a typical move in the social media age? Yes, and Hammer is here to explain why it's the wrong move — while many others are here to disagree with him… 1. The Tweet That Started It All “So touched by all of the celebrities posting pictures of themselves with Stan Lee… no better way to commemorate an absolute legend than putting up a picture of yourself,” wrote Hammer. 2.
