Sinead O’Connor is not interested in meeting up with Miley Cyrus. But she may want to sue the singer. The Unexpected Feud Heard ‘Round the World took a new twist today, as O’Connor responded to Miley’s request for a meet up with a third open letter – and her first threat of legal action. Miley Cyrus to Sinead O’Connor: Let’s Meet! “I have no interest whatsoever in meeting you,” Sinead wrote on Facebook, after Cyrus half-heartedly extended an invitation in an attempt to settle a dispute that began when O’Connor warned Cyrus of prostitution in the music business. O’Connor then continued, referencing Miley’s Tweeted outing of her history of mental illness : “You had plenty of time yesterday to abuse Amanda Bynes .. an entirely innocent party.. and myself.. who also did nothing to deserve your abuse.. along with every other sufferer of mental health problems and every person who suffered abuse at the hands of priests.” And the “Nothing Compares 2 U” artist was far from done. She brought up Miley’s latest Terry Richardson spread, which features Cyrus exposing her nipples and humping an aluminum can, while demanding an apology. “You can take five minutes today between g- string f***in’ changes to publicly apologise and remove your abusive tweets. If you do not then you don’t give a sh** who you mock and what damage you do by being so ignorant. Miley Cyrus-Sinead O’Connor Feud When you publicly apologise to Amanda and myself and all mental health sufferers as well as all who were abused by priests that will end the matter as far as I am concerned.” What if Miley does not apologize? “What you did yesterday was designed to damage me and my career and has caused me enormous distress and harassment and has potential to damage my career, since you deliberately gave the impression those tweets of mine were not two years old but reflect my current condition. “If you cannot apologize I will have no choice but to bring legal proceedings against you since it is extremely hard to be given work when people think one is suffering from mental illness.” O’Connor also blasted Miley as “behaving in an anti-female capacity” and said she’ll visit the young star when she ends up in a “psych ward or rehab.” So… yeah.
