After a year back together, the actress and baseball star have ended their romance. “They broke up recently,” a source close to the Yankee slugger said. Their romance was marked by beach getaways, working out and the occasional douche-tastic sighting . But their careers were too big an obstacle. “She’s very busy with her career,” the source says of Bad Teacher actress Diaz, 39. As for A-Rod? “He’s had injuries and wants to focus on his game.” “They’re both dedicated and they’re both professionals.” Fair enough.
