Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban Welcome Baby Girl!

Something you didn’t hear about at the Golden Globes was Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban welcoming a baby girl named Faith, just born via surrogate. Born to a surrogate December 28 at Nashville’s Centennial Women’s Hospital, Faith Margaret Kidman Urban is Keith and Nicole’s biological daughter. She joins the couple’s first daughter, 2-year-old Sunday Rose. Congratulations to the happy, growing family! “Our family is truly blessed, and so thankful, to have been given the gift of baby Faith Margaret,” Kidman and Urban said . “No words can adequately convey the incredible gratitude we feel for everyone who was so supportive throughout this process.” “In particular, our gestational carrier.” The couple tied the knot in 2006. Kidman is also mom to adopted daughter Isabella, 18, and son Connor, 15, from her previous marriage to Tom Cruise.

That was fast. Just days after Owen Wilson announced he and girlfriend Jade Duell were expecting a child, the latter has already given birth to a baby boy. The blessed event took place this afternoon in Hawaii. Says a source close to the actor: He “has been doing research and learning as much as he can. He’s super into it and asks a lot of questions to make sure he knows what’s going on every step of the way.”

Alicia Silverstone is no longer clueless about how to make a baby. The actress is pregnant! The 34-year old actress and Christopher Jarecki will become parents for the first time this year, echoing Silverstone’s sentiments from last April: “I’ve been wanting to have a baby since I was 2 years old. I’m destined to be a mother.” The couple got married in June 2005 in Lake Tahoe after eight years together and we’re so happy for them.

It’s a question all fathers have asked themselves: How much should I charge a network for featuring my son on a reality TV show? For Scott Disick, that answer is reportedly $5,000. For producers of Kourtney & Kim Take New York , which debuts January 23 on E!, their response is: HA! $mile, $on! Sources close to the show say E! offered $1,000/episode in exchange for Mason to appear on the upcoming spin-off, but Disick “played hardball” and “bungled negotiations, so you won’t see Mason at all.” Scott’s greed, of course, will likely benefit to Mason in the long run. But, don’t worry folks, there are still more Kardashian-related programs on the way. Khloe and Lamar Odom have signed on for a new reality show . Thank goodness .

Demi Lovato spent Christmas with her family. The troubled singer, who was stuck inside an Illinois treatment center for Thanksgiving, was granted a half-day reprieve from the facility on Saturday. Sources say she saw a movie with her mother, step-father and two sisters. “She is doing good and is in good spirits,” an insider says of Demi’s overall progress. “She is committed to the program… She will stay as long as the doctor’s tell her she needs to stay.” Last week, Lovato settled with Alex Welch , the back-up dancer she punched prior to admitting she needed help.

It’s a Boy for Elton John and David Furnish!

Elton John and David Furnish are the excited new parents of a baby boy. Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John was born on Christmas Day to a surrogate in California. He weighted weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces. “We are overwhelmed with happiness and joy at this very special moment,” John and Furnish said in a statement. “Zachary is healthy and doing really well, and we are very proud and happy parents.” John and Furnish married in 2005 after 12 years as a couple. This is the first child for each.

Bristol Palin to Enroll at Arizona State?

Dancing With the Stars finalist / abstinence advocate / Facebook fiend Bristol Palin just bought a house and says that she may enroll in college nearby. The location of said property: Maricopa, Arizona. The $172,000 Arizona home Bristol Palin just paid for in cash has five bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 3,900 square feet. The price? $172,000. Quite a deal. SUN DEVIL : Is Bristol heading to ASU? [Photo: Pacific Coast News] So far, no word on which school the 20-year-old will be attending, but the home is just miles from Arizona State University’s school of broadcasting. Bristol has expressed an interest in broadcasting public speaking. Another fun fact: ASU declined to give Barack Obama an honorary degree in May. He gave the commencement speech, but officials deemed that he, the President of the U.S., hadn’t done enough in his career to warrant the honor. Sounds like a good fit for Bristol. Sarah Palin ? So proud.
