The holiday season got the best of us a little. With much last-minute shopping and so many year-end compilations on our plates, we totally forgot to wish Brad Pitt a happy birthday Saturday. Angelina Jolie’s partner shares his with Katie Holmes and Christina Aguilera , both of whom we gave shout-outs to. Now let’s give Brad his due. THG would like to wish the actor a happy 47th birthday. For weeks now, we knew that Vanessa Hudgens would be turning 22 years old today. We just never thought she’d be doing so alone. Indeed, Hudgens and Zac Efron shocked all of Hollywood yesterday when news of their split went public. All sources indicate the break-up is amicable, but send Vanessa an extra birthday wish or two today if you can. Hudgens does have a reason to smile. Hank Baskett IV turns a year old today, and the little guy really needs your best wishes. This is a toddler whose dad continues to be cut by professional football teams and whose mother is so desperate for attention that she’ll mislead the public about a miscarriage . Pretty tragic stuff. Hank, of course, is just the innocent, adorable bystander in all of this. He’s not even aware of how his mother is exploiting him on tabloid covers such as the ones shown here. He probably thinks the cameramen are his relatives. Poor guy. Happy birthday, buddy.

She tried playing coy for awhile, referring to rumors of her pregnancy as hilarious , but the money is finally right time has finally come for Kim Zolciak to come clean: she’s knocked up! “I was surprised,” Zolciak tells the latest issue of Life & Style , referring to the Kroy Biermann-sponsored bun in her oven. “While it wasn’t planned, God clearly has a bigger and better plan for us and we’re excited.” Zolciak says she was “appalled and disgusted” when ex-girlfriend Tracy Young went public with this news, even claiming Kim had broken up with Kroy and asked Tracy co-raise the child with her. But now Zolciak – who has two daughters from a previous marriage – is over it. “I’m the happiest I’ve ever been,” she says.

Miley Cyrus celebrated her 18th birthday a couple days early last night. First, the singer performed “Love and Forgiveness” at the American Music Awards . Then, she rented out Los Angeles nightclub Trousdale and threw herself a party, surrounded by friends (Demi Moore, Rumer Willis, AJ Michalka) and family members (mother Tish). Click on the following photos from the event for a closer look at each: Cyrus turns 18 tomorrow, but she received the best birthday present of all from rumored boyfriend Avan Jogia around 2 a.m. this morning. We regret missing Pratt’s actual birthday, Saturday, but must pay tribute today just the same. After all he’s brought to our lives, it was simply not negotiable. Here’s a brief Spencer Pratt career retrospective. 2005: Served as manager/publicist/agent/stylist for BFF Brody Jenner. 2006: Began dating Heidi Montag, resulting in big ratings for The Hills and the end of Montag’s relationship with Lauren Conrad for unknown reasons. 2007: Announced, then ended engagement to Heidi Montag ; Became whore for the celebrity gossip industry with weekly staged beach photo shoots. 2008: Fake-married Heidi in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; Filmed hilariously bad Heidi Montag “music” videos; Introduced world to sister Stephanie Pratt. 2009: Married Heidi for real in Pasadena; Starred on I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here ; Launched rap career; Pimped Heidi out to Playboy; Pretended to get a vasectomy; Feuded publicly and on Twitter with many stars. 2010: Encouraged mass quantities of Heidi Montag plastic surgery ; Was dropped from The Hills with no explanation; Was served with divorce papers by Montag; Became increasingly erratic and possibly homeless. Lindsay Lohan: What an Inspiration

Troubled star Lindsay Lohan is reportedly becoming a mentor to some of the younger girls she’s in rehab with. Is this the definition of irony or what? The female patients at the UCLA Medical Center have really struck a chord with Lohan, who is “passionate” about mentoring them however she can. Sources within the facility where she’s being treated say Lindsay has taken a genuine liking to the girls, writing inspirational notes and giving advice. Whether they should take it is another story. REHAB COUNSELOR : Lindsay Lohan is playing the role. As for life in rehab, 1 source close to Linds describes it as “full-on Girl, Interrupted ” and according to TMZ, there is no special treatment for Lohan this time around – if anything, nurses are being harder on her to prove otherwise. For instance, the 24-year-old doesn’t have a window in her room and she can’t even change the channels on her TV herself because it’s behind glass. We can hear Dina Lohan whining already.
