Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell: It’s Over!

After nearly a year and a half together, The Bachelor ‘s Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell have broken up, according to a reliable source. Them. “It is with heavy hearts that we announce our decision to go our separate ways,” the couple said in a statement just moments ago. “We feel fortunate for all the time that we had together, and we will remain friends with much love and respect for one another.” “We wish nothing but the best for each other, and ask for your support and understanding at this time,”   Ben and Lauren said . And so it goes. Another Bachelor franchise couple bites the dust … raise your hand if you’re surprised. Anyone? Hello? No? The couple’s season, in which she outlasted JoJo Fletcher (who went on to be The Bachelorette ) premiered in January 2016. Higgins, 29, proposed to Bushnell, 27, after telling Fletcher, 26, that he was in love with her as well on her Fantasy Suite date. Despite that controversy, the engaged couple weathered the PR storm and seemed genuinely happy … for awhile, at least. Bushnell moved to Higgins’ hometown of Denver, where she said “post-filming was more of an emotional roller coaster than the show.” “I fall more in love with Ben every day and it’s hard to separate what happened long ago and my current feelings,” she said. “It’s confusing.” “It does wear on me. It hurts,” she added, describing how she would watch The Bachelor online and see him profess his love. To JoJo. “It’s like, why did I have to go through that hurt? It’s already a few months of confusion and tears and then to have to deal with it again.” “It’s hard.”  Higgins added that “it hasn’t always been easy,” but said that “it’s added a whole new level to our relationship,” for what that’s worth. “[The Bachelor] led me to this woman who I love deeply,” Higgins said of Bushnell. “She’s the only woman I’ll love from now on.” So much for that. Six months later, Higgins and Bushnell returned to TV for the hilariously titled Freeform reality show Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After? Turns out that question mark was prescient. Ahead of the premiere, the two revealed they were undergoing couples counseling at church. “We’re not the perfect couple. Far from it” Higgins said, but again he insisted, “we are trying really hard and we love each other a lot.” “We’ve gotten in arguments like any other couple, but about some things that other couples wouldn’t have to fight about,” Lauren said. “Like the fact that we met when he was dating other women. You can say that’s what I signed up for, but it’s still real life and it’s still hard.” In the end, overcoming trust issues is a challenge for couples under the best of circumstances … and these circumstances were not the best. “For a long time, I was really angry for being blindsided,” said Bushnell. “And that resentment and anger affected our relationship.” “Much longer than it should have.” The two always maintained they were “not in any rush” to tie the knot, which many observers also interpreted as something of a red flag. Lauren explained that as such: “We’re both ready to get married, but we haven’t set a date because we want to make sure we’re not doing it for anyone but ourselves.” “We just want to do it on our own terms,” Ben said. “I just want to look over at Lauren and know that she is completely filled with joy.” View Slideshow: The Bachelor and Bachelorette Couples: Are They Still Together? “Love is what life is all about.” And yet the rumors persisted … and yet her went out of his way to deny a recent report from Us Weekly via an oft-overused phrase. Higgins wrote on Instagram, alongside a picture of his arms around Bushnell, in response to the tabloid reporting that they broke up: “No need to respond often to rumors or ‘fake news’ but the feeling I have in this picture is the same feeling I have for this girl today.” “We have entered into a world where rumors will exist, we know, but … I am still extremely lucky to be able to share life with her and be by her side.” No official word on why they split, nor do we expect it, but we wish both parties the best in what must be an excruciatingly hard time. Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna: It’s Over! Again! Maybe for Good This Time!

In news that is just about as stunning as Donald Trump blasting the media as being fake and terrible and biased, Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna have broken up. Yes, again. Will the break-up stick this time around? There’s no way to possibly answer that question, because any answer would imply that you believe this romance was ever real to begin with. But let’s just go ahead and play along with what the reality stars want us to think, okay? Here we go… What drove Blac Chyna and Rob apart in this latest case? No media outlet can say for certain, but an insider tells People Magazine that the romantic dissolution isn’t new. “They split a while ago. The wedding plans are off,” a source close to Kardashian tells this publication, adding: “They are both trying to be mature about it. It was less dramatic this time.” This would at least explain why Blac Chyna was spotted out with a random Patriots fan earlier this month. It would also explain why Chyna shared a bunch of cute pictures of her and her kids a couple weeks ago, with Rob notoriously absent from the images. The stars went public with their relationship in January 2016. The stunning romance didn’t just take the public surprise, but also members of Rob’s family, consider Chyna has long feuded with Kylie Jenner due to her relationship with Tyga. (Tyga is the father of Blac Chyna’s son, King Cairo.) Chyna is also good friends with Amber Rose, an ex-girlfriend of Kanye West, who is now married to Rob’s sister Kim Kardashian. It’s all very confusing, we know. Few took the pair seriously, assuming they were only appearing together for publicity, but then Rob proposed to Chyna in April 2016, and, a month later, they announced they were expecting their first child. The two welcomed their daughter in November.  She’s really cute: But the two fought as much as they made out, actually starring in an E! reality series that basically just featured one monumental argument after another. The last time we reported on their alleged break-up was in early January… so it’s been over a month of quiet, assumed bliss between the tandem. That may be a new record! “Rob thinks it’s the right decision,” a source tells Us Weekly of this split. “Chyna has disappeared for days at a time without communicating or providing any updates. This won’t end well.” A second insiders says confirms to this tabloid that the two have been at odds since late December. At that time, Chyna grabbed all of her belongings , cleaned out the nursery and left with their baby girl. Or so the stars wanted us to believe… mere days later, Rob was the one apologizing and they were posing together on New Year’s Eve. We know there’s a baby girl now at the center of all this madness and we would love it if she were raised in a stable-two parent household of course. Jemima Kirke and Michael Mosberg: It’s Over!

Jemima Kirke and Michael Mosberg are no longer together .  Girls star, Jemima allegedly parted ways with her husband during the summer of 2016.  Well, we sure hope it was around that time because that’s when Mosberg was spotted on Raya. Yes, Raya is the Tinder of the celebrity world. The pair married in 2009 and share two children — daughter Rafaella, 6, and son Memphis, 4.  Jemima and Michael tied the knot and met under the most uncertain of circumstances.  They met in rehab after Jemima was taken in at the conclusion of a three-day bender. In an interview with The Telegraph last year, Jemima opened up about her stint in rehab and that she did not feel like she was an addict.  “I don’t believe that everyone who has an alcohol problem or a drug problem is an alcoholic or an addict. There is such a thing as a problem and not a “condition”, and I think that is what I had.” “People can drink and use drugs circumstantially, and people can change and outgrow behaviors.” In that same interview, Kirke also revealed that she had started drinking again, socially.   “Mike was nervous at first. He said, ‘Look, I would never tell you what to do; you are an adult — just don’t f–k it up.’ He had every right to be scared, he knew my story,” she revealed. “But I was a different person back then. I was in my early 20s. Kailyn Lowry: Javi Marroquin Was a BIG Mistake!

Kailyn Lowry isn’t exactly the pinnacle of stable … and when you combine her antics with Teen Mom, you have a veritable Sharknado of fuss and circumstance.  As her book, Hustle and Heart , is nearly ready for release, we’re getting all sorts of juicy tidbits and online drama, because what else would you expect?  She began one of her latest Twitter tirades talking about – what else? – relationships.  Kailyn said, “People don’t value relationships anymore.” “Everyone wants instant gratification & are constantly looking for the next best thing,” she continued.  “It’s a revolving door of people because as soon as there is one issue someone wants out of the entire relationship,” she explained, which makes us wonder if it’s she – or Javi – who is the one who has successions of people lining up to date one of the two. Somehow, we’re doubting this.  When she was criticized for her own decision to leave her marriage to Marroquin , Kailyn fired back with heavy ammunition, passive-aggressively putting the blame on Javi’s behavior.  “I walked away from something that was toxic,” she retorted. “A bad example for my children. There is a difference.” Sure, but when you just might be the toxic one, it’s high time to do some serious soul-searching to see if you, yourself, are the best example for your children.  She wasn’t done there, though.  “Sure,” she tweeted, “I’ve made mistakes in my relationships. But I know when things can be fixed & healthy. What I walked away from couldn’t be.”  From there, the crazy spun out of control, as it normally does when Lowry embarks on her manic Twitter episodes.  “Sometimes it’s better to love for a distance,” she continued.  “Guess I need to be a little more girly.”  “Never wanted to be the person who gives more than she gets,” Kailyn admitted.  Yesterday, Kailyn was “trying not to worry about things” that she can’t control.  What’s next, bathroom updates?  Poop photos?  She concluded, “You can tell me 100 times, or show me once.”  How about just not, you know, showing us at all?  Nobody cares about your book, Kailyn.  Nobody cares about your estranged relationship with Javi Marroquin.  Just go back to being your regular ol’ Teen Mom crazy mode , and let the fans and the haters do the work.  All right? Mariah Carey and James Packer: What Happened (in Greece)?!?

Multiple outlets can now confirm what The Hollywood Gossip reported a few hours ago: It is all over for Mariah Carey and James Packer . According to various reports, the billionaire businessman ended his engagement to the flighty and iconic singer a couple of weeks ago. But WHY?!? The answer does not appear to be obvious. Woman’s Day quoted a source who blamed Packer’s “reservations about Mariah’s new reality TV show,” which does seem to jibe with the fact that Packer is a private individual. He made his fortune in the casino business and has no interest in the spotlight. How on Earth did he therefore fall for an artist who is practically as well known for being a spoiled, attention-obsessed diva as she is for her incredible voice? Who can say? The heart wants what it wants. Or at least it wanted what it wanted . But TMZ reports something very different. According to that typically-reliable celebrity gossip site, Carey and Packer haven’t seen each other or had any contact at all in over a month. Their major issue stems from something that happened on boar a yacht while they vacationed in Greece, something that entails Packer having done “something really bad” involving Carey’s assistant. How is THAT for vague intrigue?!? The obvious answer here for that “bad” thing would be cheating, but then you would assume TMZ would come out and report that, right? Maybe there was a verbal or even physical confrontation of some kind? The insiders would not elaborate, but TMZ says some kind incident did, in fact, take place and it prompted Mariah to bail on the vacation and go back to Los Angeles. Interesting, no? Mariah’s World Trailer: Bring on the Puppies! According to People Magazine, though, the breakup was related to a difference in personalities and lifestyles. “James is all about business and making money,” a source told that publication,, adding that Packer maybe wealthy… but he’s also somewhat reserved. “Some of Mariah’s eccentric ways, especially her spending habits, caused drama. James is the most generous person ever, but he definitely doesn’t agree with senseless spending,” this insider said. Another source confirms the rumor that Mariah’s reality show (previewed above) turned Packer off. Big time. “James is very private, and doesn’t need the media to be successful,” this person says. “He doesn’t want to be a part of Mariah’s reality show.” We do now wonder how the breakup will impact the reality show, considering some of it has been filmed already and some of it centered on Carey making wedding plans. Wilmer Valderrama and Minka Kelly: It’s Over! Again!

It seems like was just last week that we reported Wilmer Valderrama and Minka Kelly were back together  and officially in a relationship. Oh, wait … That was just last week. Yes, we think it’s safe to assume that Minka’s douche detection equipment is much more powerful than Demi Lovato’s, as sources say the model has kicked Wilmer to the curb after just a few days of dating. In fairness, Minka and Wilmer dated back in 2012, so she had some warning that the douche-nado was headed her way. So she loses some points for taking Wilmer back in the first place… …but she quickly redeemed herself by kicking his ass to the curb. “They stopped dating,” a source confirmed to Us Weekly today. Since Us was the tabloid that revealed these two are dating in the first place, it’s safe to assume they know what they’re talking about. On the surface, it looks like a “friends with benefits,” fling-type situation, but the insiders seem to believe there was more going on. One source claims the couple actually got back together several weeks before we previously thought. The insider says the Minka-Wilmer reunion actually lasted about a month before it imploded, presumably over a fight about who has the quirkier first name. The reconciliation came just a few months after Wilmer and Demi Lovato broke up after six years of on-again, off-again dating. We’re guessing Demi was more than a little surprised by how quickly Wilmer moved on. Sadly, we weren’t exactly shocked. Wilmer has a reputation for living his life like he’s taking his cues from an unused Entourage script. We’re guessing after he broke up with Demi, the Turtle in Wilmer’s life twisted a couple doobs and discouraged him from calling up his ex, but Wilmer did it anyway, because while he’s totes a chillaxed bro, he’s kind of a romantic too, ya know? Sad news out of Hollywood today, as TMZ is reporting that Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart have broken up . In other news: Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart were apparently still dating. The reports that the couple is dunzo come on the heels of rumors that Lopez is pregnant at the age of 47 . We think it’s safe to say you can add this to the pile of evidence that those rumors are bogus. There’s no word on why Lopez and Smart called it quits, but insiders say it was Lopez who pulled the plug on the relationship. The couple first started dating way back in October of 2011… But it’s anyone’s guess as to how many times they split up and got back together. Part of the reason for that is that Jen and Casper intentionally sent mixed messages about the status of their relationship. Insiders say Lopez and Smart faked a breakup in 2014 because they were sick of the public scrutiny of their relationship. From the start, the pairing was a subject of public fascination … and a fair amount of puzzlement. At 29, Smart is 18 years Lopez’s junior and was a struggling professional backup dancer when they met. Not what you expect from a woman who previously dated men as successful as Diddy and Ben Affleck, but as several fans pointed out over the years, male celebrities date and marry young, attractive nobodies all the time. So we’re not throwing shade over the age difference, but we’re still pretty happy to see these two go their separate ways. There were multiple signs that the relationship was less than stable, not the least of which were the multiple breakups (fake and otherwise). We don’t know if J-Lo called things off face-to-face or if she just ghosted Casper, but either way, it was probably a smart move. We’ll show ourselves out.

Hailey Baldwin Hurls Shade at Justin Bieber: What Did She Say?

Perhaps Justin Bieber should have seen this coming. Perhaps he should have known that bragging about his new girlfriend would royally piss off two of his ex -girlfriends. Over the weekend, Bieber went very public with Sofia Richie. He and the 17-year old shared a number of photos together from their trip to Tokyo, where Bieber is currently on tour and where Richie is clearly enjoying the company of the artist. Look. Here’s an example of one: Based on how intimate Bieber and Richie seemed, along with the heart emojis used in some captions, it’s pretty clear the two are dating. And this was made even more clear after Bieber took issue with fans giving Richie a hard time . In response to their online vitriol, Justin wrote the following message yesterday on Instagram: “I’m gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don’t stop the hate this is getting out of hand. “If you guys are really fans you wouldn’t be so mean to people that I like.” It seemed like a fair point at the time, like Bieber was trying to just stand up for his gal pal. But Selena Gomez didn’t see it that way. In a comment she left on Bieber’s Instagram page, Selena basically told her famous ex to keep his private life private… or else shut up about the consequences. “If you can’t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol – it should be special between you two only,” Selena allegedly wrote, adding: “Don’t be mad at your fans. They love you.” We say she  allegedly wrote this because it was not a message straight from Selena’s official account. It’s possible that someone used Photoshop to make it look as if Gomez was taking Bieber to task. But then another screen-capture of Bieber’s account revealed a response from the singer, who appeared to fire back at Gomez by writing: “It’s funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way. Sad. All love.” After Gomez responded to this comment by writing that Bieber cheated on her “multiple times,” Bieber strongly implied that Gomez cheated on him … with Zayn Malik ! This has all become a giant mess, made all the more confusing because it’s all based on Instagram comments. No one is 100% certain that either Selena or Justin wrote any of these messages. But Hailey Baldwin has decided to chime in anyway. The model ( who dated Biebs earlier this year , although she downplayed the relationship at the time) took to her own Instagram account on Sunday night to warn people not to “misplace blame.” Was this message written in support of Selena? “We’ve all had our fair share of things we’ve done, both good and bad. What makes the present so powerful is when we take complete responsibility for our actions, we allow ourselves self-growth,” the cryptic message reads. “Misplacing the blame onto someone else isn’t going to get you to the next stage in life. so try not to manipulate a situation to make yourself look better.” Baldwin concludes: “No matter how much better off someone may seem, we are all humanly flawed in our own ways, but also share the same endless potential to be better than we used to be.” According to People Magazine, Baldwin’s friends believe Richie made Bieber unfollow her on Instagram. As a result, Baldwin is “super upset,” an insider tells the publication.
