Khloe Kardashian remains at Lamar Odom’s bedside as reports surface that the two are not legally divorced and she is making his medical decisions. Moreover, she stands to inherit a large portion of his estate if he passes away, as the ailing basketball star did not have a will, and the law is the law. Insiders say rumors of Khloe feuding with Liza Morales over Lamar’s estate are false, and that she is by his side only because she cares about him. The feeling was/is mutual, as Lamar has not let their divorce get in the way of his feelings, as he never took steps to disinherit her from his fortune. Khloe and Lamar had a prenup, separating her money from his. In some cases, prenups state that a spouse is disinherited from the other spouse. Not the case with these two. With no will, under California law, if he were to die, Kardashian would be entitled to 1/3 of the 35-year-old’s personal fortune. His kids with Liza Morales would get the remaining 2/3. Khloe doesn’t need, care about or want the money, but if this sad story were to end tragically, the reality star would inherit it just the same. Odom also has several life insurance trusts, making both Khloe and his kids with Liz beneficiaries. We just hope this is all a moot point. The amazing news is that there has been a ray of hope. Lamar is not out of the woods yet, but he is doing better. Many predicted he’d be brain dead after his overdose, but his heart is doing better and Odom is off life support and breathing on his own.
