After several years with an unknown backup dancer, (sorry, Casper Smart ) Lopez was back to dating a dude close to her own level of fame. Of course, the relationship is also more than a little surprising, as A-Rod’s fame comes with a healthy dose of infamy. The guy is widely despised by baseball fans as a result of doping allegations, massive paydays that were rarely justified by his on-field performance, and reports of generally douchey behavior. From a PR standpoint, he has far more to gain from this relationship than J-Lo does. So it’s not surprising that sources close to the couple say there’s a serious power imbalance, and Jen has the upper hand. According to Radar Online, Lopez has issued Rodriguez a lengthy list of demands that he must meet in order for their relationship to continue. “It reads like some kind of style bible,” one insider reveals. “He’s totally under her thumb.” It sounds far-fetched, but if there’s anyone in Hollywood we can imagine issuing a “style bible” to new boyfriends, it’s J-Lo. Despite the demands of the relationship, sources say Alex is happy to be offered the chance to serve as Jen’s arm candy. “He’s very lucky she’s giving him the time of day, given his bad reputation,” one tipster claims. Prior to this relationship, Lopez briefly dated Drake , and the fling apparently taught her some important lessons about the challenges of dating high-profile, successful men. “Jen’s not making the mistakes she made with Drake and Alex is banned from being seen with any other woman under the age of 40,” says the source. The star-studded event — held at a private residence — also included such famous guests as Drake, French Montana, Big Sean, Ashlee Simpson, Evan Ross and Amber Rose. According to a People Magazine insider, the stars “remained playful and affectionate all night,” even “whispering to one another and smooching.” The witness went on to say that their “lip-locking never stopped.” It’s been quite a ride for Gomez and The Weeknd. The former received quite a bit of backlash after first getting together with the latter, considering The Weeknd and Bella Hadid had only recently broken up after a two-year long relationship. Selena and Bella are decent friends and sources have confirmed that Gomez never ran the relationship by her pal. Hadid reportedly found out about the dating situation via the World Wide Web. Ouch, right? Since then, Hadid has stopped following Gomez on Instagram and Selena have been the subject of criticism online. Elsewhere, ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber scoffed at the relationship, allegedly claiming it was a pure PR move meant to boost Selena’s career. It’s been three months since we first learned of the latest Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna breakup , which means it’s just about time for another round of reconciliation rumors. Yes, right on schedule, there’s talk of Rob and Blac patching things up yet again. Normally, we’d dismiss the reports as just the latest tabloid chatter. Surely even Rob in his desperation and Blac in her blind greed couldn’t be so foolish as to get back together for the 47th time, could they? Her response sounded suspiciously like that of a woman justifying her continued involvement in a crappy, unhealthy relationship: “I feel like every person who’s in a long-term relationship, or who is committed to their person, goes through ups and downs,” Blac told the magazine. “Everything isn’t always going to be peaches and cream. If it is, then it’s fake. I’m in it for the long haul.” Considering Blac attacked Rob and had to be physically restrained a few days before Christmas we think it’s safe to say they were pretty far from the peaches and cream stage. So why would these two grownups with a child to raise ( two children, in Blac’s case) put themselves through this again? Well, according to Radar Online, the answer is simple – and painfully obvious. “Blac Chyna got really scared recently after they broke up again because she was afraid that her money was running out,” a source close to Rob and Blac tells the site. Yes, Blac still sees a big old dollar sign in a Dodgers hat when she looks at Rob, and who could blame her? Not only is she set for life if they make it down the aisle, his last name is one of the most widely-recognized on the planet. Happy birthday, Rob Kardashian! Well, happy belated birthday at this point — the guy turned 30 yesterday. Earlier in the day, his family celebrated with their customary social media well wishes . Kris Jenner wrote to her only son that “I love you more than words can say. You have the sweetest soul and the kindest heart, and I am blessed beyond measure to call you my son.” “I am so proud of the man you have become and it brings me so much joy to watch you grow as a brother, son and father. There are so many blessings in this life, but being your mom is one of the greatest.” Khloe Kardashian, his closest sister , wrote “I am incredibly blessed to have a brother like you!” She told Rob that he has “the most unbelievable heart,” and that “seeing you be a daddy has been a blessing to see how she gives you that smile I miss.” “We’ve been by each other’s side for life and that will never stop!” she continued. “This is your year of greatness! It’s shocking to many, but it remains true: Anna Duggar is pregnant with her fifth child with husband Josh Duggar. On Friday night, the controversial couple used their family’s official blog to deliver the following announcement: “For nearly the last two years, we have quietly worked to save our marriage, focus on our children, and rebuild our lives as a family. “Doing so is never easy after a breach of trust.” From there, Josh and Anna focused on the future… and who it will include. “As we continue our journey as a family and rebuild our lives, we are delighted to share with you that we are expecting a new baby boy later this year.” “Beauty comes from ashes and we cannot wait to see and kiss the face of this sweet new boy!” This will be the fifth child for this pair of Duggars, who are already parents to Mackynzie, 7, Michael, 5, Marcus, 3, and Meredith, 19 months. But it’s one that very few fans saw coming. Considering that less than two years ago, Josh was admitting to the world that he molested multiple young girls when he was a teenager, it’s a bit of a shocker. At least two of these victims were his sisters, Jessa and Jill Duggar; Jinger and Joy-Anna are rumored, but not confirmed, to have been victims. A few months after that, Josh confessed that he was addicted to porn and had cheated on Anna after being exposed in the Ashley Madison hacking. Why didn’t Anna divorce him, more than a few fans wondered? Because such an action is antithetical to their religious beliefs. That said, how did the couple move past this scandal and get to a place where they’ll excited to welcome another baby to their already-packed household? It wasn’t easy, that’s for sure. Said saddened parents Jim Bob and Michelle at the time, reeling from the shocking actions of the first of their 19 children: “We pray that in this he comes to complete repentance and sincere change.” “In the meantime, we will be offering our love, care and devoted support to Anna and our grandchildren as she also receives counsel and help for her own heart and future.” “During this time we continue to look to God. He is our rock and comfort. We ask for your continued prayers for our entire family.” From there, in January of 2016, Anna released a statement of her own, speaking out about her experience with Josh in a rare moment of openness. Anna Duggar referred to his rehab stint as “an important step on a long difficult road” to repairing their relationship and added: “Please continue to pray for me, Josh and our children.” In March of last year, Josh quietly finished his six-month stay in the facility and returned to Arkansas, staying under the radar since. Once back home, he continued to receive “professional counseling and focus on rebuilding relationships with his family.” It was then off to marriage counseling in May. “As we enter into a long family weekend together, we want to thank each of you for the prayers, love and encouragement you’ve sent our way,” these Duggars said last year . The couple explained that they had “working with a professional marriage and family counselor to take important steps toward healing” since Josh had left rehab. Josh, now 29, and Anna, 28 continued at the time: “It isn’t easy and some days are very difficult. It is a long road to rebuild trust and a truly healthy relationship. “We are very thankful for God’s forgiveness, grace and help, as it is our strength and guide to rebuilding our lives. “As the future unfolds, we are taking one day at a time and we are grateful for your continued prayers for both of us and our sweet children.” We heard very little from Josh and Anna after that. In September, Josh was seen at a family gathering for a close friend’s birthday, at which he posed for a group picture alongside his wife. Later today, William and Kate are expected to step foot in Paris, as the future king makes his first official visit to the city since Princess Diana passed. It marks yet another major occasion for the couple and the family they represent. The two-day trip is expected to strengthen relations between France and a post-Brexit Britain – and all eyes will clearly be on William’s eyes on Friday and Saturday. Will they be bloodshot?
