What does Ryan Gosling like to do late at night? Drive around the City of Angels, obviously. Apologies to any of you ladies out there hoping we were going in a different direction with that one. Our friends at Reel Movie News attended the premiere of Gosling’s Drive (in theaters Sept. 16) at the Los Angeles Film Festival Friday night. RMN spoke with Ryan and co-star Christina Hendricks on the red carpet about their project, in which a Hollywood stunt driver gets into trouble after becoming part of a heist gone terribly wrong. Doug Hutchison Marries Courtney Alexis Stodden, Couple Embraces Mammoth Age Difference

Doug Hutchison is a veteran actor best known for roles in The Green Mile , Lost and 24 . He is 51 years old. Courtney Alexis Stodden is an aspiring country singer. She is 16 years old. Over the weekend, the couple got married in Las Vegas. Doug Hutchison is seen here in Punisher: War Zone . Many likely believe he should be starring in Pedophile: Gross Zone . Based on Nevada law, one of Stodden’s parents had to sign off on the union, as the pair acknowledged its age difference via the following statement: “We’re aware that our vast age difference is extremely controversial. Paris Hilton and Cy Waits Break Up!

Paris Hilton and Cy Waits have called it quits. Recent rumors that they hit the skids look like they were correct. After a year together, the ho-tel heiress and Vegas nightclub owner are done. “They are broken up,” a pal of Paris’ says. “It’s sad, she cares about him a lot and thinks he’s a great guy but they really hit a rough patch .” The reality star and Waits met and stepped out in late spring 2010, shortly after her final breakup from former Hills star Doug Reinhardt. They had a blast. He even saved her life . But they grew apart . Explains the friend: “No drama, it’s amicable, but things didn’t work out.” Cy, who has a daughter in elementary school, “found it difficult to live his life with her in the spotlight and that’s what caused their split.” With him based in Vegas and Paris in L.A., and entrenched in their own lives, they simply lost the spark in recent months and called it quits. Sad, but hopefully for the best.

Steve Nash: Dating Brittany Richardson, Tolerant of Openly Gay Teammates

Two-time NBA MVP Steve Nash is in the news for two reasons today. First, the recently-divorced star was spotted with a woman believed to be girlfriend Brittany Richardson at Game 2 of the NBA Finals last night. Nash was bombarded by texts after ABC showed him on TV, to which he responded on Twitter : “How can I watch the game when I just got a thousand texts for being on tv?! Been there before people. #kindofabigdeal” Steve and Brittany watch the Mavericks’ 95-93 win over the Heat . Nash and his wife divorced in November – the day after their third child was born – and he and Brittany Richardson have reportedly been dating since. Meanwhile, the Suns point guard Steve Nash made news by telling the New York Times that he does not think an NBA player admitting to being gay would be a “big issue” and that it would be “ surprisingly accepted .” Here’s what Nash had to say about it … Asked by the Times if the NBA is ready for an openly gay player, Nash responded, “If a player in the locker room came out, it would come and go quickly, too. I really don’t think it’s a big issue anymore.” “I think it would be surprisingly accepted, and a shorter shelf life than maybe we would imagine. I think the time has come when it should happen soon.” “I think it will be something that won’t take on this life of its own. It won’t be the O. J. trial.” The issue of homosexuality in sports was brought back to the forefront when Rick Welts, the CEO of the Suns, came out earlier this month. Nash’s remarks echo recent comments by Charles Barkley, who suggested pro athletes may be more accepting in such a scenario than you think. “It bothers me when I hear these reporters and jocks get on TV and say, ‘Oh, no guy can come out in a team sport. Guys would go crazy,’” he said. “First of all, quit telling me what I think. I’d rather have a gay guy who can play than a straight guy who can’t play.”

Amy Smart won’t need to do any home repairs for the rest of her life. That’s because the actress got engaged this week to HGTV star Carter Oosterhouse. Smart made the announcement, which she deemed “new” and “exciting,” at the Earth Lovers in Celebration of Earth Day event in New York on Thursday. The couple met in November of last year and a pal says they instantly had something in common: affection for the environment. “He’s an eco-carpenter; Amy drives a hybrid and is the greenest girl I know,” says the friend. “They are perfect for each other.” [Photo: WENN.com]

Lauren Conrad’s ex-boyfriend, Stephen Colletti, is dating Chelsea Kane, the Disney and Dancing with the Stars cutie, according to new reports. “We were set up on a blind date by my manager,” Kane says. It turns out the dancer has been a fan of Colletti, who now stars on One Tree Hill , since his days with LC on MTV’s reality hit Laguna Beach . “She tore his photo out of a magazine to show friends!” says a friend , presumably meaning back then, and not like last week. Cute stuff! In other DWTS news, Kendra Wilkinson has been feeling so degraded and sad lately, while Kirstie Alley is allegedly a control freak. Good to know, Us! All three ladies are still in the running in this wide open season. Hines Ward, Ralph Macchio, Chris Jericho and Romeo round out the remaining field. Who do you think win Dancing With the Stars?

Carrie Underwood on Marriage: A Challenge!

The famously private Carrie Underwood opens up about her marriage to NHL player Mike Fisher in the new issue of Us . Not sure how they got her to agree to that. Perhaps to clear the air about their marriage being on the rocks? It’s been reported several times, and while she says it’s not true, maybe the rumor got to her. The American Idol winner does admit that it’s been a challenge … After nine months as long-distance newlyweds, Fisher was traded from Ottawa to Nashville in February. Carrie Underwood has been giddy ever since. “It was like, he’s coming to live with me! I can go to work, he can go to work, and we can both come home, and we’ll be together,” she gushed to Us . But rooming together in her gated Brentwood, Tennessee, development, though joyous, has led to some growing pains and difficulties as well. “To be honest, on our days off, we just hang out. Just learning how to live together has been fun and frustrating and everything in between.” They watch TV and read the Bible, says a source, who adds, “They’re not into partying.” As for kids, she’s in no hurry: “We have plenty of time!”

Rapper Kanye West has been spotted getting his flirt on with Victoria’s Secret and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue beauty Kate Upton recently. The star was caught sneaking in the back door at the Victoria’s Secret VIP Swim event at Club L in L.A. and sitting with the ridiculously hot Upton. Seriously, she’s out of this world like Kanye and Katy Perry’s “E.T.” video . A New York Post source said that the two were flirting and left hand in hand through the back door to avoid celebrity gossip attention. Interesting … Sort of hating Kanye West right now, guys? Same here .

Stop the presses. Kim Kardashian , the Armenian princess of Calabasas, may be moving to the Big Apple. The reason is simple: Kris Humphries is there. It’s not a done deal yet, but she’s talking about it. With Kourtney & Kim Take New York wrapped for the season, her “work” is mostly based in L.A. Still, the allure of her man may draw her back east … Kris Humphries grabs rebounds for the New Jersey Nets with proficiency, much like Kim grabs $10K for shilling for various products on Twitter. It’s a good fit . Apparently, she’s still given this some thought , telling sources: “We have the store in New York so it’s obvious that a place in New York would be the next step.” LOL. Sure thing, Kim. You didn’t even visit the place ON YOUR REALITY SHOW. How much time do you expect us to believe you spend there on a routine basis? Anyway, that doesn’t matter. Michael Buble: Robbed During His Own Wedding!

While Michael Buble was marrying Luisana Loreley Lopilato de la Torre last Thursday, a bunch of thieves were breaking into his home in Argentina. What a d!ck move, although you have to give them credit for planning in an odd way. You know no one’s gonna be there then. Just saying. Michael and Luisana were staying at a resort outside Buenos Aires during the break-in. It’s unclear what exactly the thieves made off with. Michael Buble married someone even hotter than he is! After learning about it, Luisana, an actress in her native country, said, “I will not let this ruin the happiest day of my life.” Good attitude. After all, they’re really rich and married to equally hot people. Holla.
