Serious Pimp is slapping Sitch with a lawsuit claiming the reality star made a deal to promote its t-shirts on the show, Facebook, Twitter and various other places. According to the lawsuit, Mike Sorrentino and his brother had the right to approve the t-shirt designs, but never said yay or nay. They just disappeared, allegedly. With the $25,000 advance he got. Serious Pimp planned on co-partnering with The Situation to make a bundle on the shirts, so they want that advance back as well as compensation for lost profit. Ashton Kutcher took to the stage today at the Television Critics Association winter press tour and made it rather clear he hopes to return to Two and a Half Men next season. On a one-year “test” deal,” the actor said he’s looking at this summer as a “hiatus” because he wants to appear in more atrociously unfunny episodes of the CBS hit. Oh, and he’s also shaved his facial hair. Completely. The new look is “related to the show, completely,” he said at the panel. “Tune in Monday.” But should you, really? Duchess Kate Middleton certainly looked festive on Christmas in her plum-colored coat and coordinating hat as she joined Prince William, Prince Harry, Prince Charles, Duchess Camilla and Queen Elizabeth II for church services in Sandringham, Norfolk, UK. Here’s a nice shot of the royal family members … Queen Elizabeth, 85, took a car, while the rest of the family walked. Her husband Prince Philip, 90, underwent emergency surgery Friday for a blocked coronary artery. Saturday, members of the royal family visited Philip in the hospital. Buckingham Palace officials issued an update, saying he had “a good night” following his procedure. The royal family spent Christmas day at the Queen’s Sandringham estate. Today, Pippa Middleton will join her sister and the royal family for a pheasant shoot. Kate, William and Pippa will then travel to the Middleton family’s home in Bucklebury. The big question: Will Kate Middleton pregnancy rumors or gossip about Pippa and Prince Harry hooking up become the UK tabloid story of the week? Stay tuned!
The Kardashians stand accused of using “slave labor” and turning a blind eye to human rights atrocities to produce their multimillion dollar fashion lines. A human rights group is investigating claims that workers in China – as young as 16 – work in squalor to manufacture merchandise for the famous family. The labels in question: K-Dash by Kardashian (which Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian are all involved with), the Kris Jenner Kollection and ShoeDazzle, according to Star . The institute for Global Labour and Human Rights has in fact launched an investigation, amidst claims the Kardashians’ products are inhumanely produced. With factories reeking of stench from sewage and temperatures north of 100 degrees, an official from the group says conditions in the area are “horrific.” There are also claims the employees work up to 84 hours a week, earning $1 an hour … while the Kardashians rake in approximately $65 million a year. However, a leader of the human rights group quoted in the story implying the Kardashians use “slave labor” says the story is misleading in many ways. Charles Kernaghan, Executive Director of the Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights, says he told Star , “It was a wise idea to wait on the article.” Reason being: No proof had been found that the specific factories the Kardashians use violate child labor standards or human rights. That’s a good reason. Kernaghan is quoted as saying, “The Kardashians are in bed with some pretty bad people” and “not only are they taking advantage of these workers, they are holding hands with a government that spits on democracy and women’s rights.” Kernaghan tells says his quotes were taken out of context, though, that the violations he described to Star apply to the REGION in China where clothing and other items are manufactured, where child labor practices are often quite appalling. Again, he was not calling out specific factories the Kardashians use. At least not yet. Kernaghan does say that at least 75 percent of the factories in the region have violations similar to the ones described in Star . Kris Jenner tells TMZ in response to the story that factories the Kardashians use are “strictly policed” to avoid child labor or human rights violations. The company behind the Kardashian shoe line is also adamant that there are no violations and that the “agency” making the claim has not contacted them. Robert Shapiro, the famous lawyer-turned-entrepreneur (he and the girls’ father, Robert Kardashian Sr., co-defended O.J. Simpson), owns ShoeDazzle and says he invests time, energy and money to ensure the factories are in good standard. One of the people who has personally visited the factories is ShoeDazzle COO Deborah Benton, who weighed in as such: “These issues of child labor are always of paramount importance to us. We’ve been very focused on this from the very beginning.” She adds, “Factories are routinely inspected and always pass inspection.”

His name is Justin Bieber and the couple went public in February, showing up together at the Vanity Fair Oscar party and stealing the sexy show. The two have been relatively drama free since then, avoiding the sort of tabloid fodder that has marked the reign of their competition for cutest young Hollywood couple, Robsten. Meanwhile, Gomez has watched her professional life reach the same heights as her personal one. She anchored the movie Monte Carlo ; she embarked on a successful summer tour; she released hit singles that included “Who Says,” Bang Bang Bang” and “Love You Like a Love Song.” She even added host to her resume, taking center stage at the MuchMusic Video Awards in June and later at the MTV European Music Awards in October. The pinnacle of Selena’s year may have taken place in July, when she actually topped Lady Gaga, Shakira and Bieber himself on the Billboard Social 50 , a ranking of those most popular/referenced across a variety of social networks. Selena has also graced the covers of numerous magazines throughout 2011, while entertaining millions of fans across the land.
