Britney Spears Models For Dolce & Gabbana

In music and in fashion, Britney Spears is back on top. She’s not renowned for stepping out in high-fashion threads (she prefers the hooded sweatshirt and jeans look, y’all), but she sure looks the part if she tries. Case in point? Sexy ensembles from Italian designers Dolce & Gabbana in a new set of promotional ads for the company. See Britney Spears pictures below: “We love Britney Spears and we love to dance to her new songs! We can’t wait to hear the whole album,” the design duo told the Telegraph (UK). “She has always been among our favourite artists because she has been able to remain true to herself and to her style throughout the years.” “With her music she influenced and inspired generations of people for more than 10 years, and we can’t but congratulate her for this achievement.” Indeed. She looks a little confused in the first image above, but that’s pretty much par for the course these days. Confused but oh-so-sensual.

Mel Gibson Mug Shot: Grumpy, Unamused

Mel Gibson’s latest mug shot has been released. We didn’t expect the guy to be happy after being booked and fingerprinted , but still. Lighten up man! Just hours after making his way into the El Segundo P.D. to be processed following his no contest plea to battery last week, this booking photo leaked. Especially compared to Mel’s previous effort , it’s kinda scary … Mel was released right after this mug shot was taken last night . It’s rather nondescript as celebrity mug shots go. Not unlike the resolution to Mel’s criminal case, it’s a bit anticlimactic. Sadly for him, more drama awaits. His no contest plea resulted in no jail time and was not a legal admission of guilt. But he is likely to face myriad civil lawsuits from Oksana Grigorieva. Don’t expect him to cave this time around. He will fight them tooth and nail and probably countersue. We just hope he keeps the rage under control.

L.A. Reid Named X Factor Judge

It looks like Simon Cowell has found the next version of… himself? Record executive Antonio “L.A.” Reid has been tapped as a judge on The X Factor , the singing competition Cowell is bringing over from Great Britain and which will debut on Fox in the fall. While he makes no mention of the new gig, Reid sent out an email to his staff this morning that read: “I have decided to leave my position as chairman of the Island Def Jam Music Group. I have always thrived on growth and the next great challenge, and I look forward with much enthusiasm to what the future holds.” Reid is a three-time Grammy Award-winning executive who is responsible for signing such talents as Mariah Carey, P!nk, Justin Bieber , Rihanna, Kanye West and Usher. An official announcement of his X Factor role is expected soon, but Cowell said of Reid a couple weeks ago: “We always wanted to work with L.A., whether it was now or in the future. Because in terms of his credibility and what he’s achieved, he’s always somebody who we would love to work with… He’s had so much success. And he’s also a good friend of mine.”

Vanessa Hudgens Meets with the FBI

Just how seriously is Vanessa Hudgens taking the latest round of scandalous photos that depict her making out with friend Alexa Nikolas? The actress met with the FBI for over an hour today in her lawyer’s office, providing federal agents with information about her computer and email and whatever insight she could assist with regarding a hacker who may have done this before. Authorities suspect the same person who leaked Vanessa’s pictures has also broken into the accounts of over 50 A-listers, including Scarlett Johansson, Ali Larter, Busy Phillips, Miley Cyrus , Emma Caulfield, Addison Timlin and Renee Olstead. This is serious business and let’s hope the pervert is apprehended and brought to justice. In the meantime, though, let’s also back up for a moment: are there Scarlett Johansson nude photos out there?!?

Jersey Shore star Sammi Giancola, a.k.a. Sammi Sweetheart, is getting her jewelry line on. Her signature bling will be called … wait for it … Sammi Sweetheart. The line will be seven pieces focused on her (wholly inaccurate) “sweetheart” image, includes heart-shaped pendants, crystal bracelets and large hoop earrings. There will also be a necklace modeled after the leash around Ron’s neck. You too can dress like a Jersey Shore star!!!!!!! Fortunately for fans, Giancola tells People she isn’t charging sky-high prices: “I love that the RichRocks brand and my collection retails for just under $100.” “It was very important for me to keep all of the pieces affordable for fans so they can purchase more than one piece and add to the collection,” she adds. “I’ve created some great fun and flirty pieces to wear day into night.” They may even look great on the floor of a Seaside Heights shack. Charlie Sheen Bringing Torpedos of Truth to Five More Cities

With his tour dates in Detroit and Chicago selling out in mere minutes, Charlie Sheen has added five new dates to his upcoming Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not an Option Show. The actor, who will be donating one dollar from each ticket sold to the Red Cross Japanese Earthquake Relief Fund, will be ranting and raving in front of audiences on the following dates next month. Torpedo of Truth Tour Hype April 5 : Playhouse Square Center, Cleveland April 6 : Palace Theatre, Columbus, Ohio April 8 : Radio City Music Hall, NYC April 9 : Oakdale Theater, Wallingford, CT April 12 : Agganis Arena, Boston With tickets ranging from $50-$80, the only more obvious use of one’s money is to wager it all on a Brad Womack/ Emily Maynard split.

Donald Trump recently took a $2 million pounding for charity . But The Situation, one of the people who roasted The Donald, was really the joke of the night. Talk about grenades.
