ESPY Awards Fashion Face-Off: Maksim Chmerkovskiy vs. Zac Efron

Total hunk alert! A pair of talented dancers walked the red carpet of last night’s ESPY Awards in Los Angeles, as Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Zac Efron both posed without their significant others. For Maks, Erin Andrews was busy battling Lindsey Vonn in her own Fashion Face-Off; while Vanessa Hudgens simply didn’t accompany Zac to the event. But that just gave Efron more time to prepare for this match-up against the smooth Dancing with the Stars professional, a man who makes his living competing with other attractive people on a global stage. Will that experience carry Chmerkovskiy to victory? Or will Efron’s boyish charm be too hard to resist? You tell us! Who looked hotter at the ESPY Awards?

Lady Gaga Rocks Hello Kitty Dress

Having already worn an Animal skirt and an ensemble of Kermit the Frog dolls last year, Lady Gaga is not opposed to melding high fashion and stuffed animals. The outrageous star traded in her favorite Muppets for another childhood icon last night, though: Hello Kitty! The occasion? Tuesday’s episode of Double Exposure. Lady Gaga elevated Hello Kitty to a sexy new level while shooting the 35th Anniversary campaign for the character at the London shoot for the Bravo series. Famed photographers Markus Klinko and Indrani (who was linked to Lindsay Lohan recently) chronicled the shoot with the “Alejandro” singer in all her glory. The songstress and girlfriend of Luc Carl donned a custom gown adorned with stuffed Hello Kitty dolls and accessories, from sky-high pumps to a bedazzled belt. What do you think? Best of Lindsay Lohan Fashion: Ankle Monitor Style

Being shackled with a court-ordered SCRAM alcohol monitor device around one’s ankle would crimp the style of many stars, but Lindsay Lohan rolls with it. Girl is nothing if not flexible. She’s also used to it by now. Whether she’s hitting the clubs or the courtroom, the troubled star has turned a fashion challenge into an opportunity. Let’s just say she has a lot of boots! As for why she goes clubbing while unable to drink, and while staring at a jail sentence for violating her probation, we have no clue. That’s Lindsay for you. The good news: The ankle monitor finally gets taken off July 20. The bad news: She’ll be wearing an orange jumpsuit for awhile after that. Kind of a drag. We’re behind you all the way, girl. Amazingly, both The City star and fashion designer and the pop star manage to make their looks work well with wildly printed, black and white harem pants. MC Hammer would be proud … if he could afford an Internet connection and read this. Just kidding. Probably. Dude was in serious financial trouble for a time. Anyway, who looks better? Eclipse Premieres in London

Who says The Twilight Saga is all about Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner?!? Aside from THG in our review of Eclipse , that is. At the London premiere of this movie, none of the film’s three stars showed up on the red carpet. But that didn’t stop fans from camping out for a spot near the action and then screaming over Kellan Lutz , Ashley Greene and company. The latter looked ravishing in a silver dress, but those in attendance have been debating whether she was more radiant than co-star Nikki Reed. Whitney Port knows a thing or two about style, which you know if you watch The City or just read websites like this one. The Cali cutie’s got an eye for design. Brooklyn Decker , meanwhile, tends to make fairly decent style fashion selections herself, though it certainly never hurts to be a Sports Illustrated cover model. Who rocked this similarly striped look better, however? The reality star and Whitney Eve entrepreneur pairs her Alice + Olivia sequined top with ripped jeans and a blazer for shopping in the Big Apple recently (left). The wife of Andy Roddick paired her white and black striped shirt with a khaki skirt while in N.Y.C. Was she able to out-duel Whitney in this style showdown? They are two of the most beloved, gifted young stars alive – and they might get along very well in real life. But this is the virtual world, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Swift, and there are no friends in the world of fashion face-offs! The actress and the singer each wore the same J. Mendel dress out to public events over the last few months, although Stewart chose the strapless ivory version, while Taylor rocked it in lavender. This photo of Kristen is also outdated because she’s cut and dyed her hair since she walked the red carpet for the premiere of New Moon, but that doesn’t mean she can’t still take on Swift below. While most attention paid to male stars of the Twilight Saga is centered around Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, these two studs aren’t exactly hard on the eyes themselves, are they? Lutz and Facinelli joined their Eclipse co-stars at that movie’s Los Angeles premiere last night.
