Kim v. Kourtney: Klash of the Similarly-Klad Kardashians

Their first names begin with the same letter, they share the same DNA and they collaborated on the same clothing line. Now, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian are adding another similarity to their resume: they’ve been spotted out in the same dress from their Bebe-sponsored collection . In separate public events, both sisters bared a shoulder and posed for the camera in the single-strapped black ensemble below. Kim accessorized with a dangling necklace, Kourtney showed off her neck. Whose look do you prefer?

J-Woww on Jersey Shore Fashion: Do-Over!

Jersey Shore star J-Woww (Jenni Farley) was known for her risque fashion selections on the first season of MTV’s breakout hit show. To her chagrin. She wishes she could have a few fashion do-overs when it comes to her style. Asked to pick her biggest fashion regret, she couldn’t even pick one. “Oh! Everything on the show,” J-Woww told MTV News . “I was really sick during the shooting of it. I ended up going to the doctors and the hospital.” “So, like, everything!” Even the relatively conservative outfit seen here … J-Woww’s not kidding about earrings. [Photo: PacificCoastNewsOnline.com] While she still has Season 2 to think up some better looks, she knows the one thing she will always include in any one of her outfits: “Earrings!” We suppose that even if you see J-Woww nude , she will be wearing those: “I have chubby ears, so I gotta wear my earrings, no matter what.” J-Woww should start packing up all hers, since the Jersey Shore cast is hitting the road for and getting ready to take South Beach in Season 2 . “[Expect] more hookups,” J-Woww said. “More drama – a lot more. I don’t know [what the drama will be about]. We haven’t really changed, but we have.” Of the Jersey Shore cast , she adds: “We’re a bigger family, which I love. So, when we’re all together, we know each other, so there is no [holding back].”

Tim Gunn Slams Kardashian Klothing Line

So far, THG readers seem generally impressed by the Kardashian clothing line. Check out a sample from it NOW . But don’t count Project Runway star Tim Gunn among those impressed by Kim, Kourtney and Khloe’s stylings. Far from it. “I just think the Kardashians have an absence of taste and I don’t think that that should be perpetuated. I’m sorry I’m sounding like an old farty snob, but it bothers me,” he said during New York Fashion Week. If it makes the reality stars feel any better, Gunn doesn’t have anything positive to say about the clothes worn by Jersey Shore cast members, either. “Don’t even get me started. It is not a style to emulate. I know that the show is hugely popular. I will tell you it pains me when I hear 12-year-old girls say it’s their favorite show. You shouldn’t be watching it!” It sounds like Snooki may be listening to Gunn. After all, she’s reportedly ready to ditch any and all clothing and simply appear in the buff . No way Gunn could object to that, right?

Lady Gaga: What’s Her Best Face Mask?

Most female stars wear dresses or outfits. Lady Gaga wears elaborate performance art pieces. Sometimes that includes a hair phone ; quite often a face mask. Most recently, the always outrageous singer donned a flowing, white three-tiered gown topped with a towering cotton candy wig at the Brit Awards last week. That may have even been tame by Lady Gaga fashion standards. You may recall her raising eyebrows with a blood-red lace Alexander McQueen archive dress and matching headdress and veil at the MTV Video Music Awards. Or at the ACE awards when she showed off a similar veil lace headpiece, this time in black to match her Marc Jacobs outfit. Flat-out face-shielding madness. Which look do you like best? Whitney Port Talks Fashion, City Life

Whitney Port spoke on City life (living in New York, that is, not specifically about her reality show) and her new fashion line in an interview with Zink magazine. The publication’s stylists fashioned Whitney in the style of Jerry Hall, using Port’s own clothes of course. The result was classically glamorous and a little racy. Naturally, she can pull off both. She should be a model if her designing career doesn’t work out! Speaking of her clothing line, Whitney is inspired by the street. Literally, that is. She takes her camera out every day looking for inspiration for her designs. That will get you a good feel for the customer, that’s for sure! First Look: Lady Gaga in Cosmo

For most women, this outfit would seem rather outrageous. But Lady Gaga being Lady Gaga, a peach-colored lingerie-corset thing is pretty standard fare. She pulls it off, too, although it is unclear at this time what advice only Gaga would give, or what THE SEX ARTICLE WE CAN’T DESCRIBE HERE entails. Something about how Lady Gaga is a hermaphrodite , perhaps? Hard to say. We’ll find out in April. Lady Gaga Debuts Hair Phone

Already well known for outrageous hairstyles and fashion, Lady Gaga may have outdone even herself this time, debuting a hair phone in her “Telephone” music video. By hair phone, we mean a phone made of hair. Literally! In stills from her latest performance art piece, with which she collaborated with Beyonce, Gaga is seen with a phone stuck to the side of her head. Somehow it works. She’s really weird. She’s also really talented. When you’re a rumored hermaphrodite who dresses like Marie Antoinette on HGH, what’s a little phone made of hair? It’s not the first time Gaga and Beyonce have combined their talents. Britney Spears Featured in New Candie’s Ads

Britney Spears is featured as the model for Candie’s spring 2010 ads, with famed photographers Annie Leibovitz, Mark Seliger and Terry Richardson doing the honors. The campaign’s name: “Britney Spears Through the Lens.” Deep. “Annie, Mark and Terry are three of the biggest photographers in the world and I am honored to be working with them for my Candie’s ads ,” Spears said in a statement. “It was an amazing shoot, and I know my fans are going to love the cool images.” We’re sure they are too, as they eat, drink and breathe all things Britney. Here’s the first of many new Candie’s ads … Britney Spears for Candie’s … only at Kohl’s . The photo shoot, which took place at Paramount studios in Hollywood late last year, had three different themes for each photographer featuring Spears. Leibovitz’s photos feature Spears against an industrial backdrop, while Richardson photographed the superstar on a plain white set with colorful props. Seliger created elaborate sets, such as a French burlesque-inspired pink dressing room and a field with a custom-designed pink Harley-Davidson bike. “This is the most exciting shoot we have ever produced for Candie’s,” Dari Marder, the chief marketing officer of Iconix, said today. Chris Brown & Naomi Campbell: Together For Haiti

Haiti relief efforts will not cease … nor should they. Naomi Campbell was the latest to pitch in, throwing a Fashion for Relief runway show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Among the attendees? Chris Brown. So many violent thoughts together in one place. At least it was for a good cause this time. Earthquake relief tops thrown phones and pummeled ex-girlfriends. Helena Christensen, Selita Ebanks, Agyness Deyn, Kelly Osbourne, Malin Ackerman and others did their thing on the catwalk, sure. But Chris Brown in a tux? That really got the audience going. Chris Brown, Naomi Campbell and others united for Haiti . “[Events like this] are definitely important, not necessarily for me,” Brown told E! News . “It’s important for Haiti because you get a chance to see artists and entertainers and fashion icons come together to do something nice for a good cause.” “It’s very humbling being able to come and help, it’s nice to see.” Nothing you can say negatively about that classy attitude, or the collaborations by so many celebrities to help this case, such as the We Are the World remake . Rachel Zoe pulled together the 92 looks for the fashion show, including the moving finale tribute to Alexander McQueen that had the models holding back tears.
