It’s only been five months since Meghan Markle welcomed her first child . But given the fact that they went with “Archie” for the kid, it stands to reason that she and Harry would want another crack at the naming process. We kid the Sussexes because we love them! But seriously, folks, word on the street is that Meghan is pregnant with baby number two . And when we say “the street,” we mean social media, because we never actually go outside. Anyway, as you may have heard, Meghan and Harry are on tour in South Africa at the moment. It’s one of Meg’s first royal engagements since becoming a mom, and not surprisingly, she and Harry are being photographed non-stop. And as with past royal tours, this means Meghan is forced to endure two very specific types of scrutiny: First, there’s the never-ending commentary about her fashion choices. Don’t get us wrong, we’re sure a limitless supply of cool clothes from the world’s top designers is one of the major perks of being a royal — but it must be more than a little annoying to catch flak for repeating an outfit while touring a foreign continent. The other type of constant inspection Meghan is forced to endure comes courtesy of the millions of amateur obstetricians who are forever holding her midsection up to a microscope. Many of these people are convinced that Meghan is currently expecting her second child. This conclusion appears to be based on nothing other than a handful of amateur photos. But hey, let’s indulge the rumor mill for a moment, shall we? “The camera never lie[s],” a fan named Fanie Jason captioned the pic above. “Meghan Markle could be pregnant again or my imagination is running ahead of me. Some of the photos I took of Meghan and Harry in Cape Town,” she added. Sure. It’s entirely possible that Meghan is pregnant in this photo. But it’s possible that this is just a case of an awkward angle. It’s also important to point out here that Meghan just passed an entire human being through her birth canal less than half a year ago. There’s an outside chance that she’s a mere mortal, and is therefore not rocking six-pack abs at the moment. Harry and Meg say they’re planning to have one more kid , and sadly, this sort of speculation will likely continue until the day they make the announcement. It’s a sad part of the lifestyle that Meghan signed up for when she married Harry. But hey, at least her outfits have been on-point! Jackson Gives His Two Cents On Martin Scorsese’s Marvel Comments Martin Scorsese’s comments about Marvel films rubbed a lot of fans the wrong way, but MCU star Samuel L. Jackson’s unbotheredness is something we should all aspire to when responding to haters. Jackson–who has been in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since day one in his role as Nick Fury—spoke to Variety about Scorsese’s comments, saying, “I mean that’s like saying Bugs Bunny ain’t funny. Films are films. Everybody doesn’t like his stuff either. Everybody’s got an opinion, so I mean it’s okay. Ain’t going to stop nobody from making movies.” Of course, Samuel L. wasn’t the only Marvel alum to share their feelings on Scorsese’s belittling comments. Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn really wasn’t happy with Scorsese’s criticisms. He tweeted on Friday, “Martin Scorsese is one of my 5 favorite living filmmakers. I was outraged when people picketed The Last Temptation of Christ without having seen the film. He wrote, “And I’m not saying religious zealotry is the same as not liking my movies, or in the same category. The director went on to argue that the 20+ MCU films should be considered something other than cinema. “I don’t see them,” he proclaimed. “I tried, you know? But that’s not cinema. Honestly, the closest I can think of them, as well made as they are, with actors doing the best they can under the circumstances, is theme parks. It isn’t the cinema of human beings trying to convey emotional, psychological experiences to another human being.”

Source: Stewart F. House / Getty Joshua Brown, Key Witness In The Botham Jean Trial, Killed According to Dallas News , Botham Jean’s neighbor, Joshua Brown, was killed Friday. He was a key witness in the Amber Guyger murder trial that ended last week. The news came from social media posts by Lee Merritt, the lawyer who represented the Jean family: “Joshua Brown, the next door neighbor of #BothamJean was killed last night after being shot several times by an unknown assailant. Local media have began reporting on the shooting but have not confirmed Brown’s identity,” Merritt wrote on Facebook. “[…] An ADA has confirmed that it was in fact Brown who was killed although they have yet to identify a suspect or motive for the shooting. The case is now in the hands of the Dallas Police Department.” View this post on Instagram Joshua Brown, the next door neighbor of #BothamJean was killed last night after being shot several times by an unknown assailant. Local media has reported on the shooting but have not confirmed Brown’s identity. Because, Brown worked closely with prosecutors just a week ago to ensure Amber Guyger was properly convicted in the murder trial, the DA’s office has fairly direct contact with Brown and his family. An ADA has confirmed that it was in fact Brown who was killed although they have yet to identify a suspect or motive for the shooting. The case is now in the hands of the Dallas Police Department. Brown’s testimony stood out as a fact witness who was approaching his apartment directly across from Botham Jean’s apartment when shots rang out. Brown was still visibly shaken up from the incident when he took the stand to testify on behalf of the prosecution. His murder underscores the reality of the black experience in America. A former athlete turned entrepreneur— Brown lived in constant fear that he could be the next victim of gun violence, either state sanctioned or otherwise. We have more work to do deal with the constant threats to our community both from within and without. Brown deserves the same justice he sought to ensure the Jean family. The Dallas County criminal justice system must mobilized to identify his killer and see that he is held accountable for this murder. A post shared by S. Brown took the stand during Guyger’s trial, delivering an emotional testimony on the events of that tragic day. Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and no one is in custody. Unconfirmed rumors spread that Brown was shot in the mouth, but the Dallas News has since confirmed that he was shot in the back and thigh. This story is still developing…
Source: Joe Raedle / Getty A Flordia Mom Allegedly Tried To Kill Her Kids Because She Believed She Was Cursed According to the Ocala Times , a Florida mom is accused of telling her four kids to take off their seatbelts before crashing into a tree. She is now facing four counts of domestic attempted murder. Calicia Williams was allegedly driving erratic before she crashed into a tree after striking a curb and traveling across a grassy median. Members from Ocala Fire Rescue advised officers that none of Williams’ children were wearing seat belts belts during the accident. When officials arrived, Williams was observed making “”spontaneous utterances while her children were being treated by paramedics. People on the scene reported that Williams was traveling at a high rate of speed and had told the children to take off their seatbelts and stretch out their hands. She also reportedly yelled out “The devil can’t hurt you. He only hurts bad people. You have the light of Jesus in you and only Jesus can cure us.” The children sustained injuries consistent with not wearing seatbelts or proper restraints and their condition is unknown. Williams will be transported to the Marion County Jail once released from the hospital.
