F**k 12 (Days Of Christmas): Minneapolis Police Decorate Department Tree With Racist Stereotypes

Source: picture alliance / Getty Minneapolis Police Decorate Christmas Tree With Racist Stereotypes Police should no longer wonder why people generally hate them . It should be abundantly clear. But being that they aren’t always the sharpest knives in the drawer, we’ll provide another example. According to the Washington Post , the Minneapolis police department is under intense fire and two officers have been placed on leave after people caught wind of officers’ offensive token of holiday cheer. The cops in MPD decorated the tree that stood proudly in their precinct with half-crushed cans of Steel Reserve malt liquor, crumpled bags of Takis chips and Funyuns, a cup from the fried-chicken oasis Popeyes and two packs of Newport cigarettes, and was wrapped in crime scene tape. “These pieces of trash were deliberately chosen to represent how certain officers feel about the community they serve: that black people are a stereotype to be mocked and the lives of those they serve may as well be reduced to trash in the gutter,” said City Councilman Phillipe Cunningham, who represents constituents in the majority-black Near North neighborhood where the MPD’s 4th Precinct is located. Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey said the tree is: “…racist, despicable, and well beneath the standards of any person who serves the city of Minneapolis.” Suffice to say, this tree does nothing to improve community relations in the 4th Precinct after the questionable shooting death of Jamar Clark three years ago. That shooting lead to an 18-day protester occupation of the police headquarters. “I just could not believe that after everything we’ve been through to try to change the narrative about the African American community, that our police officers still held that same mind-set,” Black Lives Matter Twin Cities activist Chauntyll Allen said at the news conference. “They have no respect for the lives that have been lost.” They never do and they never will. So again, we scream “f**k 12” and their racist days of Christmas.

Kandi Explains Why She Was Reluctant To Tell Porsha The Tattoo ‘Truth’ About Dennis McKinley

Source: Charles Sykes/Bravo/NBCU Photo Bank via Getty Images / Getty Were you watching??? Kandi Speaks On The Dennis McKinley Rumors Kandi is speaking out on last night’s episode of “Real Housewives Of Atlanta” that finally put her face to face with Porsha. As previously reported Kandi said that she knows someone whose name and face Porsha’s fiance Dennis McKinley tattoed on his body. And on Sunday she took the information to Marlo, Cynthia, and NeNe to ask the ladies if she should tell Porsha herself. NeNe and Kandi agreed that it was too soon afte r Kandi and Porsha’s dungeon drugging dustup for Kandi to say anything and the group collectively agreed not to tell Porsha. That notion was emphasized by NeNe who said that the ladies should let it go. Kandi: “What advice are y’all giving to Porsha with her new boo? Me and Porsha are getting to be cool but when it comes to her relationship I don’t think she and I are in a place where I can speak on it.” NeNe: “Y’all aren’t there yet.” […] Marlo: “Don’t say anything about the tattoo it’ll be interesting to see if he gets her name…if he does I’m falling out on the floor.” Fast forward to later in the episode and Kandi revealed that someone told Porsha what was said about her boo and Dennis retaliated by angrily calling up his gossiping exes. That lead to an uncomfortable sitdown where NeNe told Kandi she didn’t spill the beans to Porsha—but then got quickly outed by RHOA producers. RHOA rolled footage showing Porsha admitting that NeNe told her what Kandi said—and that’s why NeNe and Porsha are in that BIG battle right now. Kandi reiterated on Twitter last night that she was reluctant to tell Porsha what she heard about Dennis because of timing. They apparently hadn’t spoken in MONTHS before they started taping the new season. I hear you but this was early in the summer. She & I really hadn’t talked before we started taping so I definitely didn’t feel like she would’ve wanted to hear that from me. You can’t go months without speaking & then say this is what I know about your boo… Neither way works — Kandi Burruss (@Kandi) December 3, 2018 Do YOU agree with Kandi that the timing was wrong for her to tell Porsha about her boo??? #RHOA: Nene And Porsha’s Friendship EXPLODES, Spills Out On Instagram And The Internet Is Picking Sides

Source: Bravo / Getty Nene vs. Porsha Goes Nuclear Sunday night’s Real Housewives Of Atlanta turned into a complex a$$ episode of Game Of Thrones. It was hard trying to keep up with who was being the shadiest to whom all night. So let’s start: Kandi, who is, for some reason, moderately obsessed with Porsha, did some digging on her man, Dennis and found out that he allegedly likes to buy women Rolexes and get their names tattooed on him – like he did Porsha. She told this news to Cynthia and Nene who urged her to not say anything to Porsha because it would come off wrong. Fast forward a few minutes and Porsha had heard about what Kandi did. How did she find out? Well, due to some nifty editing by the RHOA cameras and Porsha, it all came from Nene. Welp. Nene knows that was editing! Everyone can see that was the last part of a sentence asked waay after the lunch even took place! They added it to make it seem like I confessed who told me. I never said Nene told me what Kandis said. I only said why nene felt it may be kept from me! — Porsha Williams (@Porsha4real) December 3, 2018 Yep…. crazy the smallest of things makes “friends” give me they ass to kiss https://t.co/vwmhwik3eX — Porsha Williams (@Porsha4real) December 3, 2018 So the whole argument shifted from Porsha and Kandi to Porsha and Nene and it spilled all over IG. Hit the flip to see the fight and nasty words that got shared and peep all of the hilarious reactions from people picking a side.

Springing Into Action: Nelly Allegedly Comes To The Rescue During A Dust-Up On A Dubai Yacht

Source: Tim Mosenfelder / Getty Nelly Broke Up A Fight During A Dubai Yacht Party There was reportedly an incident in the desert last week when a fight broke out on a yacht full of rappers while they were sailing near Dubai–it was the result of a number of party go-ers eventually being questioned by the police about the situation. According to an exclusive report from Page Six , a brawl is said to have broken out on a party yacht. Guests in attendance at this shindig included rappers Future and Akon, with one unfortunate guest getting a bottle thrown right in their face. A “spy” told Page Six that Nelly  is the one who ended up springing into action once the violence started. “When Nelly heard the commotion, he went running in to help the person who was hit in the nose,” their source told the publication. The “Country Grammar” star along with others were said to be questioned by local police about the fight, but Nelly was in the clear following his heroism in the situation. The region was filled with so many big stars because of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on November 25. Post Malone, The Weeknd, French Montana, Tyga, Craig David, Guns N’ Roses and Sam Smith all performed concerts in the days surrounding the race, which ended up being won by Lewis Hamilton. The Weeknd’s show actually ended up being cut short when rowdy fans stormed the gates at a local arena. “The show had to stop early because it was so dangerous,” a source for Page Six recalled. It’s lucky for everyone involved that none of the stars in attendance got arrested following the alleged fight. Back in 2015, Future’s DJ, Esco, was arrested during the Grand Prix after being caught with marijuana at the airport. He ended up spending a whopping 56 days in jail in a harrowing experience that inspired Future’s album 56 Nights . “When they arrest you, they don’t have to say, ‘You have a right to this’ . . . There’s no judge, no jury. They assign you to a prosecutor, and the prosecutor can just do what he wants with you. They don’t have to tell you anything. They don’t even have to explain what the charge is.” At the airport after he was freed, he said, he bought headphones, ice cream and cookies, “and I was like, ‘I can’t believe this. Like, what just happened?’” Good on Nelly for breaking up a brawl that could have gone downhill quickly.

Ariana Grande Is Still Thinking About Pete Davidson’s Pecker In “thank u, next” Music Video

Source: Nicholas Hunt / Getty Ariana Grande Reminisces About Pete Davidson’s D In New Music Video Ariana Grande has never been shy about her ex-fiancé Pete Davidson’s Big D*** Energy. She even responded to a fan once sharing TMI about the exact length of his member. Only a few weeks after their break-up, Ariana’s latest single “thank u, next” not only mentions Pete, but her other ex-boyfriends Big Sean , Mac Miller, and Ricky Alvarez . On Friday, Grande finally released the highly-anticipated video for the smash hit, and of course, gave us some more tea on the relationships she mentions throughout the track. If you haven’t already seen all the hype leading up to this visual, the “thank u, next” video features Ariana playing some classic early 2000’s leading ladies including characters from Mean Girls , Legally Blonde , Bring It On , and 13 Going On 30 . In one portion of the video, Grande opens her version of the Mean Girls  Burn Book, but of course, hers instead reads, “Thank U, Next.” She flips open to individual pages as she glues down pictures of her exes and writes some notes on their relationship. On Ricky’s page, Ariana wrote “great dancer,” “good times man,” and “friends forever.” Big Sean’s page mentions that the rapper is “so cute” and “so sweet.” There’s no page in the book for Mac Miller , but Ariana already mentioned on Twitter that she had a picture of the late rapper next to her bed, instead. As for Pete, as she glues down a photo of the two of them together, we see the words “I love you always” written along with her jotting down, “sry I dipped.” On the bottom of the page, Ariana wrote “HUUUUUUUGE” which could be a cue to some sort of inside joke between the two, but more than likely, she’s talking about his penis. Or in the very least, she’d know we would all think we’re talking about his penis since his BDE has been the topic of conversation before. This wasn’t the only time Grande mentioned the size of Pete’s Davidson in the video, either. In one segment that mirrors a famous scene from Legally Blonde , the singer speaks highly of an unnamed counterpart saying, “I mean, he was really cute, ya know? He was really cute. And it was…..it was….really big.” Jennifer Coolidge jokes back about dating a man with a big tooth but…we all know where Ariana was going with this one. You can check out Ariana Grande’s video for “thank u, next” below to see for yourself. You can also expect a surprise cameo from Kris Jenner.

In White Folks News: Disney Screenwriter Criticized For Comparing Being Anti-Vaccination To Calling Someone The N-Word

Source: Barry King / Getty Screenwriter Uses The N-Word In Tweet About Being Anti-Vaccination Oscar-nominated screenwriter Terry Rossio, who worked on films including  Shrek ,  Aladdin , and the  Pirates of the Caribbean  franchise, is getting a lot of heat on Twitter for using the n-word in a tweet about vaccines. Earlier this week,  The 100  writer Julie Benson posted information via Twitter on how people could donate vaccinations to others through UNICEF. In the post, screenshot by Julie, it was suggested as a way to donate vaccines in the name of a relative who is anti-vaccination. Brilliant! pic.twitter.com/O08JZWu5is — Julie Benson (@TheJulieBenson) November 23, 2018 Rossio responded to her tweet the next morning, writing, “My heart goes out to all the parents of vaccine damaged children, who have to not only endure the sadness of their loss, but also the vitriol of ill-informed and insensitive people (such as those here). Anti-Vax is equivalent to calling someone a n***er and makes as little sense.” My heart goes out to all the parents of vaccine damaged children, who have to not only endure the sadness of their loss, but also the vitriol of ill-informed and insensitive people (such as those here). Anti-Vax is equivalent to calling someone a nigger and makes as little sense. — Terry Rossio (@TerryRossio) November 23, 2018 Of course, Terry is being roasted by critics, noting that calling someone anti-vaccination is literally not at all the same as calling them the n-word. He even doubled down on his point in a later reply. Do you realize that you are using the equivalent of the 'n-word' in promoting memes that tag people as 'anti-vax?' Do you realize that the same collectivist stereotyping lies behind belittling any group with a label? Do you have no feelings for vaccine damaged kids and parents? — Terry Rossio (@TerryRossio) November 23, 2018 Fellow writer Jeff Grubb joined in on those criticizing Terry, sarcastically replying, “God, this is such a good point. I remember how American founders and citizens enslaved vaccine skeptics for decades. And then, even after freeing them, the government enshrined laws to marginalize vaccine deniers and to deny them wealth and opportunity. That’s just history.” God, this is such a good point. I remember how American founders and citizens enslaved vaccine skeptics for decades. And then, even after freeing them, the government enshrined laws to marginalize vaccine deniers and to deny them wealth and opportunity. That's just history. — Jeffrey Grubb (@JeffGrubb) November 23, 2018 Check out some more tweets below of people going in on Rossio for his completely misinformed comparison of being anti-vaccination to being called the n-word. Seems like just yesterday that Dylan Roof slaughtered that room full of the un-vaccinated. — Sean E. (@SeanMichaelE) November 24, 2018   And it’s not like anti-Vaxxers have any control over being anti-Vaxxers. — Irina (@IrinaMikhale) November 24, 2018   They aren't vaccine skeptics. They are raving anti-vaxxer loons who ignore the overwhelming body of scientific evidence on vaccinations. And these nutjobs endanger children's lives. — John Smith (@GOP_U) November 24, 2018   pic.twitter.com/qR9ZAwTRV2 — Horatio Velveteen (@illbegotdamn) November 24, 2018   There are no peer-reviewed scientific journals that conclude vaccines are harmful. You have no proof, and your anti-intellectualism is going to get kids killed when hapless parents see your posts and decide that *their* kid can probably survive measles (spoilers: they can't). — Jimi Brady (@JimiBrady) November 24, 2018   You’re right. “Anti-vax” is an inaccurate term. “Pro-disease” is far more appropriate. — Deborah Cottrell (@batgirlgsxr) November 24, 2018   This tweet is disgusting, of all the words in the English language you had to use that one? Yet you call yourself a writer? As a white person that word makes me feel shame, and sadness I could never use it. This tweet says a lot about you, none of it good. — Terri Thompson (@oneleglover) November 24, 2018
