Heather Locklear Arrested for Domestic Violence, Assault of a Cop

Heather Locklear is in pretty serious trouble with the law. The veteran actress was arrested Sunday night on suspicion of domestic violence and assault on  police officer, Captain Dean Cook of the Thousand Oaks Police Department tells The Hollywood Reporter. She was booked into the Ventura County jail, but has since been released on bail. Not many details are available at this time, but authorities reported to a disturbance call at a home in Thousand Oaks, TMZ writes. During the arrest, Locklear allegedly became combative and even attacked an officer on scene. Cook explains the one count of domestic violence is a felony and the three counts of battery of emergency personnel are misdemeanors. Locklear also posed for this mug shot, which doesn’t exactly flatter the long-time sitcom and drama star: UPDATE : According to the 911 call, per TMZ, the actress’ brother came to her residence and witness Locklear arguing with her boyfriend, whose name has not been released. The brother is in the individual who dialed 911. Upon their arrival, the cops noticed that the boyfriend had a visible mark on his face and proceeded to take Locklear into custody. But she was NOT having it. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that Locker flailed, kicked and actually struck three deputies while they attemped to detain her. Eventually, the star was handcuffed and taken to the hospital for evaluation. The 56-year-old has gotten into plenty of hot water in the past, often related to her substance abuse issues. She’s been arrested for drunk driving and battled an addiction to prescription drugs. In 2011, Los Angeles cops was dispatched to Jack Wagner’s home – her then-boyfriend and former Melrose Place colleague – after the pair allegedly got physical with each other during a heated argument. At the time a law enforcement source said the following to TMZ: “She lost it on him and he retaliated.” Neither wanted to press charges against the other at the time. Locklear is best known for her roles on Spin City and Melrose Place. She’s been nominated for six Golden Globes and guest-starred last year on an episode of the ABC sitcom Fresh Off the Boat. But her successful career has stalled over the past decade or so, ever since she started to get in trouble with both the law and alcohol/drugs. It’s a shame, really. Jeremy Calvert Slams Jenelle Evans & David Eason: They Should Be Afraid to Leave the House!

Last week, Teen Mom 2 fans rejoiced when David Eason was fired from the show for hurling homophobic slurs on social media. Even before he revealed himself to be the most abhorrent type of bigot, David was not exactly a fan favorite. And it seems viewers weren’t the only ones who were not totally enamored with Jenelle Evans’ controversial husband. In the days since David’s firing was made official, several stars of the Teen Mom franchise have openly condemned Eason and applauded MTV for cutting ties with him. The most vocal critic has been Leah Messer’s ex-husband Jeremy Calvert, who went full 8 Mile on David and Jenelle in an Instagram Live rant. “[Jenelle’s] apology is cracking me up … you can’t sit there and say you didn’t know what was going to happen when you tweeted that stuff about the gay community,” Jeremy said. “You say you don’t know how to use Twitter but, goddam it, you use it an awful lot for not knowing how to use it.” Calvert went on to say David should be living in fear these days: “If I were them I’d be scared to leave my f**king house or even show my face in public right now,” he told the camera. Jeremy even went so far as to encourage Jenelle’s previous baby daddy, Nathan Griffith, to fight for full custody of his son: “If Nathan don’t try to get his kid, I don’t know what to tell that dude,” Jeremy said. “I would have already been in court … even if I had to empty my savings account out, I’d go broke.” Jeremy went on to deliver a vicious finishing move, deriding Jenelle as “idiots”: “I know a lot of people in production who won’t go out to Jenelle’s house and put a camera in her face anymore,” Jeremy said. “I’ve had enough of MTV putting up with these two idiots.” He drove the nail into David’s coffin with a crack about his lack of employment: “David’s ass is in hot water, might lose that MTV money, might have to get a f**king job—uh oh,” Calvert said. As the only Teen Mom baby daddy with a job outside of the show, Jeremy is allowed to talk smack on this subject. As for Griffith, he’s also speaking out against his ex and her deeply problematic new husband: “I have my own beliefs and my own opinions but to segregated, belittle and to hate someone based on their opinions, lifestyle, region, race, and/or sexual orientation is wrong,” Nathan tweeted. “PERIOD! It’s 2018! As long as it doesn’t affect your life, then let it go. #lovemorehateless” It seems the moms and dads of the Teen Mom franchise are fully woke these days! Nathan Griffith SLAMS David Eason for Homophobic Rant

Earlier this week, David Eason launched into an unprompted homophobic rant on Twitter that horrified fans — and Teen Mom 2 fans are not easily shocked. MTV has ended their relationship with David Eason, which makes things even more awkward for the already controversial Jenelle Evans. Nathan Griffith is stepping up to the plate and condemning David Eason’s words. Just days ago, while arguing with fans on Twitter about his and Jenelle’s decidedly pro-gun response to the tragic shooting at a Florida high school on Valentine’s Day, David Eason got called out on his atrocious parenting. (And that’s putting it nicely — fans who’ve seen him in action wouldn’t trust him with a pot roast, let alone a child) David’s response was to pivot by attacking LGBT parents and children, tweeting: “Why don’t you go tell the homo and transgender parents to start teaching their kids better morals. Oh, I forgot, that’s supposed to be normal.” There’s nothing abnormal or immoral about LGBT parents, but David Eason says that he’s going to make sure that his kids steer clear of them. He tweeted: “I’m going to teach them not to associate with them or be that way…If you lay down with dogs, you get up with fleas.” A disgusting sentiment and a deeply offensive analogy.  When David Eason was accused of homophobia, he decided to take a literal approach to the word’s etymology. “Homophobic? You really lost it now. I’m not scared [of] s–t, especially a homo.” That’s right, he decided to make it worse. (By the by, folks, “homo” in this context is a slur, but that’s hardly the worst part of his tweets) MTV pulled the plug, firing David Eason with six weeks of production remaining. Nathan Griffith sometimes feuds with Jenelle Evans , which really fits the Teen Mom 2 brand because they’re exes. And, in particular, he’s Jenelle’s ex. And now he’s speaking out against her current husband, David Eason. He started his series of three tweets with well wishes for everyone. “Please take care everyone! Especially, with the terrorist attacks in the east and the families suffering in Florida.” Every day is one nightmare after another, it seems. “God bless and remember that God is the only one that judges and loves all his children of all races, sex, personal orientation, and belief.” That seems like a direct reference to David Eason. He then goes on to admit that (quite frankly, like every man who’s ever been in Jenelle Evans’ orbit) he is far from perfect, writing: “I know there are some things that I have said out of pure ignorance on my part.” You know what — not that it’s an excuse — but everybody’s learning all of the time. “And if I have offended or hurt anyone out there, I am truly sorry and the door is always open to vent or even ask for advice.” That  Once could cynically suggest that perhaps Nathan is simply hoping to make sure that he never becomes unfilmable, but his message is a positive one. “I have my own beliefs and my own opinions but to segregated, belittle, and to hate someone based on their opinions, lifestyle, religion, race, and/or sexual orientation is wrong. PERIOD!” When he talks about segregation, he’s clearly talking about David Eason’s vow to teach his children to never associate with LGBT people. He then goes on to lament that people are still having to preach basic equality in 2018. “It’s 2018! As long as it doesn’t affect your life, then let it go. # lovem​orehateless” That’s a very positive message. Nathan Griffith does have a tendency to come across as the more reasonable of the two when he feuds with Jenelle. (Admittedly, that’s not super hard to do — we’re talking about the Carolina Hurricane here) We’re not going to endorse him for President any time soon, but it’s probably fair to say that Nathan said some good and fair things in these tweets. And he didn’t actually mention David Eason by name — though, obviously, anyone who saw them knew what brought on his statements. Josh Duggar: Still a Pervert, Still Making Anna Miserable (Report)

It’s been almost three years since the world learned that Josh Duggar molested five young girls , four of whom were his sisters. Initially, it looked as though the scandal would bring an end to the Duggars’ wildly lucrative media empire, especially after Josh was caught cheating on his wife using an online account he created solely for that purpose. In that time, the rest of Josh’s family has gone to great pains to distance themselves from the disgraced former lobbyist. He rarely appears on any of his siblings’ social media pages, and the Duggars have gone to such great lengths to keep Josh off their popular reality show that he was once digitally erased from a scene in Counting On . These days, Josh works on a used car lot owned by his father, and while he’s still invited to family functions, sources say he’s mostly cut off from his siblings and parents. Along with his wife and five children, Josh lives in a separate town, attends a separate church, and has little involvement in the day-to-day lives of his more famous family members. Josh’s parents helped him to avoid criminal prosecution, but there’s a modicum of comfort in knowing he has at least paid some small price for his deplorable actions. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem that Josh’s exile had led him to change his ways. In a recent discussion on Reddit, one verified user described himself thusly: “I live in Springdale and my uncle and aunt go to the same home church as the Duggars. They’ve attended my church multiple times and I’ve hung out with them at family camps and home school retreats a lot. “There seems to be a huge misconception that they’re insane (I grew up around this so my definition is probably different than yours) but if you have any questions I can try to clear anything up to the best of my ability.” He encouraged other users to ask him questions about the Duggars’ lifestyle and not surprisingly, it wasn’t long before the conversation turned to Josh. Asked if the family seems happy despite the tumultuous events of the past three years, the Springdale resident had this to say: “Honestly, yes, the only one who seems like she’s miserable is Anna. And as someone who has met Josh multiple times, he’s not someone who seems like he’d be a whole lot of fun to be married too.” He elaborated: “[Josh] just stares at every girl he meets like she is an object for him to do something with.” “Most of the Duggar boys are very respectful and are good at keeping their eyes up — Josh never has been, and I know he was reprimanded a lot for his wandering eyes as a kid,” the source adds. Obviously, it’s disturbing to think that Josh’s parents may have ignored early warning signs of potentially deviant behavior. But it’s even more disturbing to think the father of five may not have changed his ways.  Sadly, with the wall of secrecy the Duggars have built up around themselves, it seems extremely unlikely that any further misconduct from Josh would ever become public knowledge. Hip Hop’s Helpers: Big Boi Is Taking Hospice Patients In His Celebrity Trailers To See ‘Black Panther’

  Marcus Ingram/Getty Images Big Boi Is Helping Hospice Patients See Black Panther Big Boi says that he hopes to “bring a little light” to a group of Atlanta hospice patients by taking them to see Black Panther on Friday. The Atlanta legend has rented a theater at Stonecrest 16 in Lithonia and will transport about 30 patients at Loving Arms Hospice to watch the film. He said about his good deed, “I’ve had my father and both my grandmothers go through hospice and I’d want to take them to places they couldn’t go. This might be the last movie they get to see. It’s like a little field trip.” Of course, medical staff will accompany the group, who are set to travel to the theater in one of Big Boi’s Celebrity Trailers, his company that supplies luxury trailers to movie sets–he wants the Loving Arms patients to experience the ride in one of the “super plush” vehicles. Like most of us, Big Boi has already seen Black Panther, but he’s looking forward to watching it again. He expressed his love of the movie saying, “The movie is incredible. Just the different layers – the storytelling, the writing, and of course the action. I love seeing the High Museum in there. ATL is thriving, man.” Other celebrities who have bought out theaters in their community for Black Panther viewings include Kendrick Lamar’s label TDE, Desus & Mero, Serena Williams , Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade, and more.

Shooting Victim In Raleigh Says Remeesha Blount Didn’t Pull Trigger & Run Her Over The victim from the Raleigh shooting for which Rameesha Blount has been arrested is speaking up and saying they have the wrong person! Previously, we reported Rameesha was arrested on multiple gun charges for being allegedly involved in a parking lot shooting. Reportedly a car carrying 3 women was shot at and one of the victims from the shot up vehicle was hit with a car, driven by the shooter. Well, a young lady named Dericka Godly claims she’s the car accident and shooting victim and she says Rameesha was not the shooter, but knows who is! No that’s a lie she did not do this sh-t to me and me and her knew who did this that’s why she hiding so come out the closet stop punk fake ng got this girl down town like she hit me with a car a shot at me see how streets talk.. smh I pray to God she get out… Dericka says she’s doing fine after the shooting and getting hit by a car in a Facebook status from yesterday: Thank you Lord thank you Jesus I’m feeling fantastic why do my physical therapy so I wanted to go to physical therapy in this program place I can go home ready to walk on my own still a bit sore got me taking Percocet morphine and Tylenol and all above yes I’m in Wake Med and is really messed up how they did the girl that got locked up and I want her fault but if somebody else fault that hit me and she’s hiding but I can say one thing with me it’s kind of slow the kind of tic ked off the brain but they will help you put when your feet I know like crazy today but I’m not perfect trying to not try to look impress nobody I want thing all the family and friends that can support me who came to see me and laugh with me in jail with me kept me company and they know who they are I give me a high five to the ones that say it was coming you are I see see you in the long run I’m just ready to see my kids my babies are missing my babies my sweetheart judaea fighting Nevaeh and my son’s zollie got a cell phone he really don’t know how to act what’s will tell the Lord thank you Jesus for let me see another day I’m feeling good wonderful fantastic ready to get the hell up out of this place keep me in prayer in Jesus name we pray amen.. Jennifer Aniston: Devastated, Humiliated By Justin Theroux Split

As you’ve likely heard by now,  Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have called it quits after two and a half years of marriage. As is always the case when an A-list couple splits, there have been countless theories as to why Jen and Justin decided to go their separate ways. Some say Aniston wants to get back together with Brad Pitt . Others claim Justin never wanted to marry Jen in the first place. It may be quite some time before we know exactly what happened, but for now, accounts concur that Justin is the one who initiated the split, and geography played a major role in his decision. Yes, geography. It seems Justin just wasn’t willing to part ways with his beloved New York City, and Jen is too much of a West Coast girl to relocate. So how does Aniston feel about basically being dumped for a city? Not surprisingly, she’s less than thrilled about it. “They’ve been separated for two months now,” an insider tells E! News, “but were having intense issues for about eight months.”  “She really tried to make it work with him but the distance was a factor as he only wanted to live in N.Y.C. and there was no compromise with her.” The source adds: “Their lifestyles were completely incompatible, and ultimately Justin decided to leave.” It seems that though she and Justin were broken up for several weeks before they announced their split, Jen has been having an especially hard time since news of the breakup went public: “Jen was doing OK for a few weeks after Justin left, and then things got stirred up again when the announcement was made to the media,” the insider claims. “Adjusting to living by herself and not having Justin around,” the source adds. “She is used to the empty house since it’s been months now without him, but it’s still an uneasy feeling for her. She knows in due time she will feel tremendously better, but is really going through the motions right now.” Of course, this isn’t Jen’s first high-profile breakup, and those who know her best are confident she’ll pull through: “Jen knows she is strong and knows things will smooth over in time,” the insider continues. “She’s been through this before, so she is trying to lay low for now and knows it’s best if she doesn’t go out in public for awhile.” And just as she did when her first marriage ended, Jen has been drawing strength from the support of her Friends friends: “Courteney [Cox]’s been at her house many times, and has been by her side through it all,” says the source. “Many of her friends have known about this for months and knew it was coming. A lot of people didn’t think that Jen and Justin were a good match from the start, but ultimately supported her decision.” Guess they really will be there for her when the rain starts to fall. As for those rumors about Jen rekindling her romance with her first husband, the source says that while Aniston has reached out to Pitt in the months since her split, the actors have no intention of being anything other than friends. “Jen never talks about Brad,” the insider claims. “Rekindling is not even a conversation. Tavis Smiley Sues PBS For Cancelling His Talk Show Over Sexual Misconduct, Claims It’s Purely Racially Motivated

Tavis Smiley Sues PBS For Firing Him Tavis Smiley is swinging back at PBS after they canned him and cancelled his 14-year-run talk show over multiple instances of sexual misconduct. The talk show host has filed a lawsuit against the network, claiming that the allegations against him were “trumped up” in an attempt to push him out for other reasons. If you’ll recall, Smiley was suspended from the network back in December. He almost immediately he admitted to having multiple sexual relationships with some of his female subordinates, sometimes even telling them in the interview process that he’d much rather date them than hire them…but still somehow defended his actions as not at all creepy or inappropriate . Either way, he was officially fired before the beginning of the new year. However, in his lawsuit, he claims that all his in-office booty-chasing had nothing to do with the “real” reason he was canned by the network. According to TMZ , Smiley claims in a new lawsuit that there was always racial tension at PBS. He says network bigwigs routinely: “…hassled Mr. Smiley when he had African American guests who espoused controversial positions and effectively tried to stop any such guests from appearing.” Meanwhile, PBS says this whole thing is a pathetic attempt to distract the public from the revelation of Tavis’ nastiness, and it’s absolutely “ridiculous and false” to claim that their decision was based on anything else. We’ll see how far this suit goes. Bottom line…you generally can’t smash half the office and think it will all be okay forever. Splash/Getty

Cruise Ship Brawls: Horrified Passengers Ran For Their Cabins

Cruise ships are just supposed to be places where a bunch of drunk strangers form a giant petri dish of potential ailments while trying to enjoy themselves. But one recent South Pacific cruise was totally derailed by brawling passengers engaging in fights. The cruise line lays the blame at the feet at 23 members of one Italian family. Warning: the video below, which shows just one of the brawls from aboard the cruise ship, may be disturbing due to its content. At the beginning of this video — a recording of one of multiple brawls, only some of which were filmed — a quick-thinking cruise passenger on this Carnival Legends ship can at first only see the periphery of the fight. And, of course, hear the screams. Most of the passengers were apparently Australian. The man recording the video below certainly sounds like he was. As the brawl moves closer, a number of people flee to avoid being drawn into it or injured by the participants. You'd think that a fight on a boat would have a vibe like something out of a pirate movie, at least. instead, this looks like an unarmed version of The Purge . To add to the disturbing elements of this video, people who appear to be cruise ship employees are shown appearing to engage in two different unacceptable behaviors. One person who appears to work security is shown repeatedly kicking a man who is laying on the ground. It appears that someone throws themselves over that man's body to protect him. Some reports claim that the man on the ground is a 17-year-old boy. Either way, that looks horrible. Multiple employees appear to try to deter filming, which is not even acceptable when actual police do it. Some reports claim that cruise ship employees stole people's phones in order to delete incriminating videos. The key culprits in the actual brawling and fighting, however, were reportedly members of a 23-member Italian family. One cruise passenger described this “big Italian family' assailing other passengers, resulting in people “getting strangled and punched up.” “Very violent, they were full-on attacks.” At least one passenger called his father in Australia to plead for him to get the government to send help. Though members of the crew eventually locked a number of passengers in their rooms after days of terror, there wasn't really a place where they could lock up a couple dozen troublemakers. Cruise ships don't have the authority to make people walk the plank , folks. Some passengers point to what they believe to be the real culprit. One chose to blame alcohol, as many passengers have unlimited passes to the bar. Which, she claimed, means that a lot of people are just super drunk by 6 or 7 in the evening. The problem with that accusation is that this cruise ship, which was traveling from Melbourne to New Caledonia, had 2000 people on board. Two thousand. Versus what, a couple dozen — let's say a few dozen — troublemakers. This wasn't an alcohol problem, this was a terrible people being violent problem. The frightening brawls sent a number of guests to lock themselves in their cabins for their own safety. Not exactly an ideal vacation. Carnival Cruise Line says that they've sent people to provide comfort to passengers who were understandably upset. Apparently they offered passengers 25% off on a future cruise, which is … well, that's gotten a mixed reception. Some passengers aren't planning on ever going on another Carnival Cruise Line, as you may recall that some were just as horrified by the behavior of employees as they were by the brawlers. So a 25% discount — or one of 100% doesn't mean that much. Watch this video, if you're feeling up to it, and decide for yourself if that's an experience that you'd want to risk repeating:
