Alyssa Milano and a host of female celebrities are doing what they can on social media to raise awareness about sexual harassment and/or assault. In the wake of the troubling Harvey Weinstein rape allegations , and the ways in which Hollywood has appeared to cover the producer's actions up, Milano has Tweeted a call-to-action. She's asking people to speak out about being sexually harassed or assaulted by replying to her tweet with the words “Me Too.” (According to Twitter, #MeToo has been tweeted nearly half a million times in the past 24 hours.) Patrick Demarchelier Nicki MInaj Covers T Magazine’s “The Greats” Issue While Cardi B has pretty much eclipsed every artist on the charts, both male and female, Nicki Minaj remains a central figure in pop culture — at least as far as The New York Times’ T Magazine is concerned. After all Nicki did land one of the seven covers designated for their “The Greats’” issue. While much of the article retreads familiar territory to any seasoned fan (her background as a waitress, her quirky character voices, her status as a fashionista, etc… ) but the good news is that Nicki is talking new music and a new attitude in the article revealing what this next project will sound like: “sonically, I know what the album’s about to sound like. I know what this album is gonna mean to my fans. This album is everything in my life coming full circle and me being truly, genuinely happy. It feels almost like a celebration. The last album, ‘The Pink Print,’ was almost like my diary, closing the chapter on certain things and not knowing if I was happy or sad about beginning new chapters. I was really writing about feeling unsure. Now, I can tell you guys what happened for the last two years of my life. I know who I am. I am getting Nicki Minaj figured out with this album and I’m loving her.” Nicki avoids taking shots at the competition for the story, but she does quite a bit of name dropping that we foresee plenty of folks reading into. Take for example, her checklist on what makes a great rapper: “Do you sound intelligent? Does your flow switch up? Are you in command of the beat? I listen for things like that.” Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Foxy Brown — “Those are the three I keep in my head when I’m writing because they’ve influenced me so much,” she says. “I feel like I’m a part of all of them.” She tells me that around two years ago, Kanye West said to her, “ ‘Every girl I hear rap, I can hear Nicki in her rap.’ I didn’t ask him who, but that was such a great compliment. Image via Mario Tama/Getty Images Puerto Rico Still Suffering From Lack Of Clean Drinking Water While our headline might not make sense to you, it makes plenty of sense to desperate Puerto Ricans like 39-year-old Juan Carlos Oquendo who spoke to CNN about how’s he’s been living since Hurricane Maria: “I’m going to drink it. I’ve drank it before. It tastes fine,” Oquendo told CNN as he filled his jugs. “If I don’t drink water I’m going to die. So I might as well drink this water.” The water that Mr. Oquendo is referring to was gathered from a potentially contaminated water well. Clean water isn’t exactly in abundance since Maria tore through the beloved island. According to the EPA: The area is polluted with industrial chemicals, including tetrachloroethylene and trichloroethylene, “can have serious health impacts including damage to the liver and increasing the risk of cancer,” the EPA said when it designated the site as contaminated. So, no, it is not “fake news” when Puerto Ricans say they are “dying” and in need of serious aid. Sh!t ain’t sweet regardless of what Donald tries to tell you about the “great job” that’s he’s doing to help. By the way, three years later, Flint, Michigan still doesn’t have clean water either. Amy Roloff isn’t having the best week. During what ought to be a very exciting time for the Little People, Big World star (it’s pumpkin picking season on her farm!) has instead turned into a controversial one. It all started last weekend when tourists streamed to the Roloff compound in Oregon to select decorations for Halloween and the upcoming fall season. According to various witness accounts, Amy was basically shoved to the background on her own property, as ex-husband Matt Roloff and his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, took over the proceedings. Chandler was spotted greeting customers and acting as if she owned the place… even though Amy literally owns the place. A Radar Online insider said this week that Matt and Caryn “ran the show,” as the latter “even posed with fans” because she’s now a TLC cast member. We love meeting and seeing all of you. “There is a lot of time hard work and heart goes into hoping you have a great time and in picking out that perfect pumpkin. The news has been everywhere for almost a month, but interestingly, Kylie has yet to officially confirm that she’s expecting. Of course, the 20-year-old mom-to-be certainly isn’t denying that she’s knocked up, and she seems to be enjoying teasing her fans with subtle hints about how far along she is: That’s Kylie’s latest Instagram photo. As you can see, it’s strategically cropped and considerably less revealing than most of Kylie’s pics. It’s part of her new trend of remaining mostly covered-up and captioning her posts with some inane comment like what shade of lip liner she’s wearing. Obviously, Kylie is far too savvy to believe she’s actually fooling anyone. It seems she’s simply enjoying the act of stringing her fans along by hinting at the big announcement, but never actually delivering it. It’s a gloriously petty move, and we applaud her for it. When Kylie posts a photo of herself wearing a ski parka on a day when the temperature is approaching 90 in LA, she’s 100 percent aware of what she’s doing. And it’s a win-win situation, as her fans seem to be totally on board for it. Further proof that at the ripe old age of 20, Kylie has amassed such a faithful following that she can pretty much do whatever she wants. Elsewhere on the landscape of Kylizzle pregnancy news, there’s some paternity drama brewing, as Tyga claims Kylie is carrying his baby , not Travis Scott’s. Of course, if this turns out to be true, it’ll result in some major drama as Kylie has been dating Travis Scott since at least April. She’s reportedly only about four months into her pregnancy, so … Well, you don’t have to be a mathematician to see how Kylie might wind some major explaining to do. In all likelihood, however, the claim is just a desperate bid to remain relevant on Tyga’s part.
