Jane Doe Said She Was In Shock And A State Of Denial Depending on where you stand, some new information about the Derrick Rose case either looks really good or really terrible. TMZ found a police report Jane Doe filed after the incident where it’s alleged Derrick Rose and his friends gang raped the young lady. The problem? The police report wasn’t filed until two YEARS afterward. Granted, it’s not unusual for women who’ve been raped to take a while to walk through the legal procedures. Unfortunately, some might look at this as a ploy for that young lady to try and get one over on the former Chicago Bulls player. via TMZ The accuser in the Derrick Rose rape case filed a police report with the LAPD two years after the alleged incident … after she had already sued the NBA star in civil court … TMZ Sports has learned. We broke the story … a woman identified as Jane Doe is suing Rose for more than $20 MILLION, claiming he and friends gang raped her in 2013 after a night of partying. The obvious question … why didn’t she go straight to police? We asked her attorney, Brandon Anand, who says there’s a perfectly logical explanation. “She was scared and didn’t know what happened. She was in a state of shock and denial.” Doe filed her lawsuit in August 2015. Law enforcement sources confirm she filed her police report AFTER she filed her lawsuit. Anand says he can explain that too … the statute of limitations on civil suits was winding down and they wanted to file the lawsuit before time ran out. After that, they filed the police report. We’re told Doe tried to reach a settlement with Rose before she took legal action — “but [Rose] didn’t acknowledge any wrongdoing,” so she decided to get the authorities involved. The civil trial is set to begin in October. The criminal investigation is ongoing. We reached out to Rose for comment. So far, no word back. What do you make of this new information? In order for him to reach his true artistic potential, West has announced that he’s parting ways with his phone. “I got rid of my phone so I can have air to create,” he tweeted on September 14th. It’s never not a weird time for West to get rid of a phone, and he might not have any particular reason for getting rid of it now, However, perhaps the criticism from his Yeezy Season 4 show prompted West to put the phone down. Permanently. It wasn’t a total wash, though. Without a phone he wouldn’t have been able to antagonize his future wife over her romantic choices. Donald Trump Jr. SLAMMED for Holocaust Reference One always has hope for the younger generations, but when it comes to Donald Trump’s kids, one just has to expect the worst. While speaking on Philadelphia radio station, 1210 WPHT , Donald Trump Jr. addressed his father’s Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton . “The media has been her No. 1 surrogate in this,” the 38-year-old said. “Without the media, this wouldn’t even be a contest, but the media has built her up. “They’ve let her slide on every discrepancy, on every lie, on every DNC game trying to get Bernie Sanders out of the thing.” Wait. It gets worse. “I mean, if Republicans were doing that, they’d be warming up the gas chamber right now,” he continued. “It’s a very different system — there’s nothing fair about it.” Ummm. The National Jewish Democratic Council released a statement in response to Trump Jr.’s comments. “With its allusions to the Holocaust, remarks such as these have no place in a presidential campaign,” the statement read. “Yet, it is not surprising that the Republican nominee’s son would use such language, given the pattern of frequent dog-whistling to anti-Semites and that both Trump the elder and Trump the younger previously have retweeted postings from known anti-Semites. “Both father and son should apologize immediately for this completely inappropriate and offensive reference.” Independent presidential candidate Evan McMullin tweeted this in response to Trump Jr.’s comments: “An unsurprising Nazi reference from the “alt-right” movement’s presidential campaign. This is the real Trump.” The Anti-Defamation League was jumped in to offer their opinion. “Trivialization of the Holocaust and gas chambers is NEVER okay,” the organization tweeted, linking to a PolicyMic.com article about the comments. “We hope you understand the sensitivity and hurt of making Holocaust jokes. We hope you retract.” Sarah Bard, Clinton’s Director of Jewish Outreach said Trump Jr.’s comments “just how insensitive, divisive, and reckless the Trump campaign is.” “The bottom line is this—offensive references to the Holocaust are never acceptable, especially from a presidential campaign. This was in response to Trump’s team saying that Jr. was not making a reference to the Holocaust. Jason Miller, the Trump campaign’s senior communications advisor, released a statement declaring that “Don Jr. was clearly referring to capital punishment to make the case that the media continues to take words out of context in order to serve as the propaganda arm of the Hillary Clinton campaign – something that’s only gotten worse as Trump’s poll numbers have improved.” No more Holocaust references, please.

Back in a letter for the Lenny Letter newspaper (titled “The Sickest Girl”), Dunham explained that the condition is heightened during a woman’s menstrual cycle. This causes the aforementioned tissue to swell and bleed, leading to pain, fatigue, nausea, gastrointestinal problems, and a number of other physical problems. Dunham has battle Endometriosis for many years now. As she mentioned in her Lenny Letter entry, she has attempted numerous different treatments to alleviate the symptoms. They haven’t produced great results. “Out of tangible options, I started Lupron: monthly injections that shut down the production of estrogen and therefore the proliferation of endometrial cells where they shouldn’t be,” she wrote. “It’s a temporary menopause of sorts, and while it solves certain issues, others pop up like whack-a-moles. “I no longer felt a fist was unfurling in my uterus, but I did have zero ability to regulate my temperature, achy hip joints, and the emotional sensitivity of a drunk girl at prom. “Life is a series of trade-offs, I suppose.” Dunham has learned how to regular the disease a bit, but it still gets in the way of her career on occasion. Earlier this year, for example, Dunham skipped the Girls press tour “due to a “a rough patch with the illness” that required her to get rest.” “I’m lucky enough to have support and backup from Jenni, Judd and the whole Girls gang,” she wrote in an Instagram post at the time. “So many women with this disease literally don’t have the option of time off and I won’t take it for granted.” Dunham may be sad that her “Endo” is acting up, but perhaps she’s happy that attention is now on parts of her body that are NOT her mouth. The outspoken star stuck her foot directly into it this month when she wrote that New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. gave her a glimpse at the MET Gala in May and then decided she was most definitely not his type. Beckham didn’t say anything of this nature. It was simply the impression Duham got from the professional athlete. After receiving backlash for making this kind of assumption, for making it appear as if Beckham simply had to be viewing a woman as a piece of meat, Dunham issued an apology. “I struggle at industry events (and in life) with the sense that I don’t rep a certain standard of beauty and so when I show up to the Met Ball surrounded by models and swan-like actresses it’s hard not to feel like a sack of flaming garbage,” she wrote, adding: “This felt especially intense with a handsome athlete as my dinner companion and a bunch of women I was sure he’d rather be seated with. “But I went ahead and projected these insecurities and made totally narcissistic assumptions about what he was thinking, then presented those assumptions as facts. “I feel terrible about it.”
Justice??? Sandra Bland’s Family Settles Wrongful Death Suit The family of Sandra Bland will be awarded $1.9 million for the Texas woman’s death. Furthermore any legislation passed which benefits Waller County must be named after Bland. The New York Daily News reports: The family of Sandra Bland, the woman who died in a Texas jail after her controversial arrest, has settled a wrongful death lawsuit for $1.9 million, an attorney said. The family’s lawyer told ABC13 Thursday the civil suit has been settled, and the jail where Bland died will pay the bulk of it. The Waller County jail is on the hook for $1.8 million of the settlement, the attorney said. The Texas Department of Public Safety will pay $100,000 — the maximum amount allowed under state law. The case was scheduled to go to a jury trial in January 2017. Bland, 28, died in the jail in July 2015, days after her arrest after a traffic stop. A medical examiner, as well as the FBI, said she committed suicide by asphyxiating herself with a plastic garbage bag behind bars. But Bland’s family has said she may have been murdered, and would not have killed herself. No investigation has substantiated their claim. Is $1.9 million a fair settlement for Sandra Bland’s family??? It will never bring her back, but hopefully the settlement and the changes to the jail where she died brings them some comfort.
