In the clip on his Instagram, East says: “That ‘Old Town Road’ sh-t is wack. I don’t know what the f-ck is going on with hip hop, with rap, but — I ain’t no hater man, but that sh*t is wack with a cape on it. It’s super wack.” Uh, okayyyy. When John David Duggar married Abbie Burnett back in November of 2018, the ceremony and reception differed from the usual Duggar nuptial events in a number of important ways. The most obvious departure, of course, was the age of the participants. John David is 29; Abbie is 27. That’s certainly not an unusually old age at which to get married — unless you’re a Duggar. You see, the Duggars are taught from a young age that their primary objective in life is to marry young and make a whole lot of babies. The family belongs to the Quiverfull movement, subsect of evangelicals who believe that it’s every Christians duty to birth as many believers as possible in order to shape governmental policy, create communities, and essentially overwhelm the Earth. By waiting until his (very) late twenties in order to tie the knot, John David cost himself a solid decade’s worth of procreation years. (It’s not uncommon for Duggars to start families while still in their teens.) Of course, John David is not alone in his decision to take much, much longer than his siblings in his search for love. John’s twin, Jana Duggar, is still single , and looks like she’ll remain that way as she centers her thirties. Jana and John David have broken with custom in a big way in their decision not to enter the “courtship” process in their teens or early twenties. And some fans think it’s no coincidence that the famously close twins both made the choice to wait. It’s widely believed that some Duggar kids marry the first person to come along simply because they know that’s what’s expected of them. Many of the fans who subscribe to that theory also believe that John David and Jana made a pact at a young age — no matter what happened, they would only marry if they actually fell in love. That brings us back to John David and Abbie Burnett’s wedding. Many noted that it was a much livelier affair than the typical Duggar ceremony, complete with airplane theme to celebrate John David’s love of aviation. John David and Abbie celebrated five months together last week, and they marked the occasion by paying loving tribute to one another on social media. They continue to commemorate their romance by posting loving selfies on their shared Instagram page on an almost-daily basis. What we’re saying is, John David and Abbie appear to be very much in love. We’re not saying, necessarily, that the other married Duggar kids are not in love with their partners, but we are saying it’s quite clear that JD and Abbie are not stuck in some awkward arrangement. It’s been widely speculated that Jana is resentful of her brother’s marriage because she’s now alone as the oldest unmarried Duggar. But we can imagine a scenario in which she looks at her brother’s happiness as a sign of hope and an indication that she made the right call by refusing to settle. What happens in Miami stays in Miami. At least that’s what Teresa Giudice is telling herself when it comes to her recent cheating scandal . Radar Online broke the news of Teresa’s Miami hookup with Blake Schreck back in February, exposing shocking photos of the couple holding hands and him sneaking out of her rented condo. All while husband Joe Giudice sat in prison. The photos were released after the RHONJ reunion taped and according to a close insider, while cameras are starting to roll on the new season the cheating scandal has yet to be brought up. The reality star is keeping her lips tight when it comes to her infidelity reports with her much younger boy toy. “It is like it never happened,” an insider told Radar about Teresa’s strict instruction that her castmates not talk about Blake, who is 20 years her junior. And to all of our surprise, no one on the show has made a big scene about Teresa cheating on her poor, detained husband. Joe, 46, is currently in a Pennsylvania ICE detention center awaiting his deportation back to his native Italy, and he is now one step closer, as his appeal against the ruling was denied earlier this month. “We are extremely disappointed that the Board of Immigration Appeals has denied Mr. Giudice’s appeal,” family attorney James J. Leonard told People . “We have filed a stay with the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and will continue to fight to keep Mr. Giudice in the United States, the only country he knows, and reunite him with his wife and four daughters.” With Joe’s future up in the air and Teresa’s cheating scandal being brushed under the rug — we have no idea what’s to come for this couple. However, we do know it’s not going to be pretty . “No one has ever seen anything like it,” the source admitted to Radar about how silent Teresa is staying regarding her affair. “After the reunion, the story was just dead.” Teresa’s secret fling with Blake happened while Joe was still behind bars in a federal prison serving his 42-month sentence for tax fraud. His brother Pete Giudice told Radar that he wasn’t supporting Teresa in the cheating scandal. “That’s his thing. Let him figure it out,” Peter said about the photos of his brother’s wife of 20 years with Blake, a local to New Jersey that lives just nine miles away from her home. The show insider said that this silence and secrecy comes as a total shock to fans as it is a complete contrast to other scandals that have been covered on RHONJ over the years. Back in November, we reported that Chip and Joanna Gaines were returning to television . Now, we know which TV network they’re taking over and they’ve announced their very own streaming service. But some fans are feeling a little put out — and see this as nothing but a calculated business move designed to enrich the Gaines brand. The Wrap reports that Allison Page of HGTV has been named the president of an exciting new project. That project will be a “multiplatform joint venture between Discovery, Inc. and the Gaines’ Magnolia brand.” The Fixer Upper stars will be taking over what we currently know as the DIY Network, which falls under the Discovery umbrella. Though we do not yet know the names of this new channel, TVE app, and SVOD service, we do know one thing. The world has been told to expect to see “Magnolia” somewhere in there. Discovery CEO David Zaslav released a statement on this new venture. “Chip and Joanna Gaines have become trusted, household names since the debut of Fixer Upper ,” Zaslav notes. “And through this joint venture,” he continues. “Discovery is proud to extend our relationship with them.” “They’ve got authenticity and relatability,” he observes. Zaslav describes those traits as forming “that special something that is so difficult in our business to find.” Zaslav goes on to explain why Discovery knows that investing in the Gaineses is the right move. “People love them, their taste, their businesses,” he points out. “They’ve built an ecosystem that aligns perfectly with our vision at Discovery,” he adds. Zaslav points out that Discovery has a lot of motivation “for fueling people’s passions.” So it seems like the brands are a natural fit for each other. Chip and Joanna Gaines also released a joint statement about this exciting new development. “Our intention with this network,” the statement begins. The Gaineses continue: “is to create and curate content that inspires, encourages, and helps to build bridges across our communities.” “We want honest, authentic programming,” the statement affirms. They want to create content “that brings families together.” “We believe David Zaslav and the team at Discovery are the perfect partners for this ambitious joint venture,” The Gaineses express. “And,” their statement continues. “We know Allison Page is the right person to lead this charge.” She’s certainly going to have her hands full, but she’s proven herself already at HGTV. “We’re ready to get started,” Chip and Joanna’s statement concludes. “And are expectant for all that’s ahead.” We’re still waiting on the names that all of these things will have, however. So when is all of this going down? The launch is scheduled for the summer of 2020. As exciting as this is for fans, others feel a little put off. It seems clear that Chip and Joanna have made a number of business decision with the aim of raking in as much cash as possible. Some of us would say that there’s nothing wrong with that, but others feel that this is a betrayal of their wholesome family image. Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville doesn’t make many headlines these days. That’s not surprising, given that Brandi was fired from RHOBH way back in 2015, and life after reality fame usually isn’t very kind to those who have been chewed up and spit out by the Bravo machine. But Brandi has never been one to relinquish the spotlight without a fight, and so, she’s clung to relevance in the usual ways — snarky comments about her former co-stars, a sporadically-produced podcast, etc. Of course, none of that has helped Brandi retain household name status (if she ever reached such heights to begin with) and these days, it seems she’s very much in danger of fading into obscurity. The good news is, Brandi is once again garnering major attention on social media this week. The bad news is, it’s all because of some unflattering photos and her facepalm-inducing response. The images below appeared on Twitter and Instagram earlier this week. They appear to show Brandi during a night out, and as you can see, she looks somewhat worse for wear. Glanville quickly took to Twitter to offer an explanation: “I’ve been VERY open about Suffering from depression and having recently switched antidepressants,” the mother of two wrote. “So please please stop these negative comments unless you really just want to send me over the f–king edge. I’m sad and ashamed isn’t that enough?” She later added: “Sorry for my tweet I just realized the only people I owe explanations to are my family. “I’m not 25 my body isn’t perfect and I got wasted i’m sure it’s happened to plenty of you however you don’t have people taking your picture and putting on the internet.” Sad stuff, to be sure, but did Brandi really think she would lessen the negative attention by revealing that she’s in the habit of binge drinking while experimenting with new psychiatric medications? That’s simply not a good look at any age, and not surprisingly, Brandi received even more blowback from her explanatory tweets. And here’s how she responded: Brandi Glanville Begs For Compassion “I’m telling you I’m embarrassed,” Brandi tearfully admits, as she pleads for compassion. She also admits to struggling as she watches her friends enjoy lives with their “perfect husbands.” (You may recall that Brandi’s ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian, left her for LeAnn Rimes following a very public cheating scandal.) It’s hard not to feel sympathy for Brandi, but many Instagram users commented that they don’t feel bad for her in the slightest, as Brandi has rarely shown compassion to others who are suffering. It’s a complex situation, but we say a good rule of thumb is to always ease up on those who appear to be suffering. Here’s hoping Brandi will eventually get whatever kind of help she needs.

Source: ENT / Splash News Chrissy Metz Talks To BOSSIP About Joyce Smith Role Last month we were moved to tears while watching an early screening of ‘Breakthrough’ — a new film in theaters today, which was produced by DeVon Franklin and Stephen Curry and stars “This Is Us” actress Chrissy Metz. Metz plays Joyce Smith, a Missouri woman whose adopted son and two of his friends fell through ice while playing. Two of the boys were quickly rescued, but Joyce’s son John remained under water for some 15 minutes before being rescued. Paramedics couldn’t find a pulse for Smith for a full hour before his mother was called to the hospital to say her final goodbyes. What happens next is truly miraculous — and this is a film based on a TRUE STORY! The film also stars Josh Lucas as Joyce’s husband Brian, Topher Grace as the family’s pastor Jason Noble, Mike Colbert as the paramedic who ultimately rescued John from the lake and Dennis Haysbert and Sam Trammell who played roles as the two doctors who were vital to Smith’s survival.
