Source: Steve Debenport / Getty Indiana School District Packs Unused Food Into Take-Home Meals for Underserved Kids A school district in Indiana is reportedly launching a program that would allow schools to package up catering leftovers and send them home with students in need. According to U.S. News , a huge percentage of students enrolled in Indiana’s Elkhart School District receive free or discounted prices on cafeteria food during the school week. The resources provided ensure that the children don’t go hungry. Thanks to a partnership created with Cultivate Culinary School & Catering and other food-service providers, the school district is launching a program to send students home with prepared but unserved food from the cafeteria & other local catering companies. “Mostly, we rescue food that’s been made but never served by catering companies, large food service businesses, like the school system,” Cultivate’s Jim Conklin explained. “Over-preparing is just part of what happens. We take well-prepared food, combine it with other food and make individual frozen meals out if it.” The pilot program will do a test run by giving 20 students eight meals every Friday to be taken home for the weekend.

Probably not, wonder why that is… According to NYTimes , three historically Black churches have been set ablaze in the past ten days in the Louisiana parish of St. Landry. Police have found what are being described as “suspicious elements” at each crime scene and haven’t ruled out arson or the idea that all three crimes are related. “There is clearly something happening in this community,” State Fire Marshal H. Browning said in a statement on Thursday. “That is why it is imperative that the citizens of this community be part of our effort to figure out what it is.” All three fires happened on March 26 and a fourth fire was set that same Thursday that was said to be intentionally set in a the parish of Caddo. When it comes to suspects, motive, and potential hate crimes, the local police seem to be lost in the sauce. “There certainly is a commonality, and whether that leads to a person or persons or groups, we just don’t know,” Mr. Browning said at a news conference on Thursday. St. Landry is reportedly 56% white and 41% Black, but race relations are said to generally be good. But who are we kidding, it’s the deep South, racism is always a possibility. We hope that the cops figure out wtf is going on before another church burns or someone gets hurt or killed.

While in the hot seat, Jordyn talks about how she handles social media trolls by sending them love, her mission to empower other women, and what she’s got in the works as far as new ventures in the beauty world. Audrey and Jeremy Roloff are talking a lot about their sex lives these days. Like, an awful lot about their sex lives these days. Like, far more about their sex lives than many fans of the famous couple may be comfortable with. Audrey, for example, recently delved into the ways in which she was impure on her wedding night , explaining that she and Jeremy engaged in some red hot and quite heavy action before exchanging their vows. Jeremy then offered up a detailed explanation for why intercourse can still be orgasmic even when a married couple must fit it into their busy schedule. The former Little People, Big World cast members either wrote about these subjects in their newly-released memoir, “A Love Letter Life,” or talked about them while doing press for the book. But while it sounds like both Jeremy and Audrey enjoy sex because it makes them feel good, let’s face it… … some people believe the only reason to have sex is to pro-create. Which leads to an inevitable question: When might Audrey and Jeremy do so again? The Roloffs are parents to a precious 18-month old daughter named Ember, over whom they gush as wildly as any parents we know read about on the Internet. It would simply be astonishing if Jeremy and Audrey did not want to become parents again, which is a thesis the latter has now backed up in an interview with Us Weekly. “We do want to have more kids,” Audrey tells this tabloid, adding: “We’ve always wanted to have a big family. … We don’t put a timeline or a number on it, but Lord willing, we definitely want to have more kids and we’ll take them one at a time.” That really is the best attitude, isn’t it? No judgement at all against anyone who plans this stuff out, but it’s also perfectly fine to wait and see how life brings you. These days, it brings a lot of traveling for Jeremy and Audrey as they visit various cities to promote their memoir and sign copies of it. The picture snapped above, for example, was taken in Union Square, which is located in New York City, which is the opposite side of the country from where Jeremy and Audrey reside. It might be tough for Jeremy and Audrey to squeeze in another kid right now, but they know they have plenty of time. Okay, that’s been the case for a while, but it’s recently reached the point where it seems the ladies of the Kard clan can do no right. Over the past year, even stories that captured national attention — such as Kylie becoming the world’s youngest billionaire — eventually became burdensome, as the definition of “self-made” was hotly debated on social media. The situation is dire, no doubt about — and it seems Kris is convinced that there’s only one man who can fix this mess. If you caught KUWTK this week, you may have noticed that the show has made several changes for its 16th season. In addition to the sleeker production design, Kim Kardashian’s husband, Kanye West, now participates in confessional segments . And that’s not the only way that Yeezy is taking a more active role in the show that helped make his wife a household name. Insiders say Kris has fully handed the reins over to Kanye, who’s essentially serving as an uncredited executive producer this season. Not surprisingly, it seems all this new power has gone to Kanye’s head, and he now wants to exercise control over everything from the tone and style of the show to the physical appearance of his sisters-in-law. Equally unsurprising is the fact that the current state of affairs is beginning to rub some folks the wrong way. “Kanye wants to give Khloe a total makeover,” a source close to the situation tells Life & Style . “He’s been talking about it for months,” the insider adds. “Now that she’s single and getting back to her old self he thinks the timing is perfect.” Yes, ‘Ye thinks he’s just the man for the job of helping Khloe bounce back from her ugly breakup with Tristan Thompson . Never mind the fact that she seems to be bouncing back perfectly fine on her own, without any assistance from her batsh-t brother-in-law. Unfortunately, it seems Kim agrees with her husband’s assessment of the situation. “Kim is all for it and of course, Kris thinks Kanye is a genius,” the source says. “He wants her to have that same fashion Cinderella moment [as Kim].” In yet another sad twist to this story it seems Khloe is on the verge of caving after years of peer pressure: “Khloe has heard this kind of thing from Kim and Kanye for years, so it’s not new to her,” the informant claims. And apparently, Kanye’s not planning to stop with an overhaul of the show and Khloe’s wardrobe: “Kanye sees himself as like a creative director for the entire family and the Kardashian brand,” the source reveals. “He’s taken it upon himself to become more involved with the show, with their wardrobe choices, with everything.” Sounds like a nightmare!
