According to NYDailyNews , a man named Alex Coreas was walking his dogs through the parking lot at Stuebner Airline Veterinary Hospital when he was struck by lightning . Fortunately, hospital employee Christy Mittler saw the whole thing happen and instantly rushed to administer first aid. When she and several others got to Coreas’ side, they reported that his clothes were charred, his socks and shoes were completely gone, and there was a huge hole in the ground. Coreas survived his ordeal and local police found the three dogs that ran off.

He was a key witness in the Amber Guyger murder trial that ended last week. The news came from social media posts by Lee Merritt, the lawyer who represented the Jean family: “Joshua Brown, the next door neighbor of #BothamJean was killed last night after being shot several times by an unknown assailant. Local media have began reporting on the shooting but have not confirmed Brown’s identity,” Merritt wrote on Facebook. “[…] An ADA has confirmed that it was in fact Brown who was killed although they have yet to identify a suspect or motive for the shooting. The case is now in the hands of the Dallas Police Department.” View this post on Instagram Joshua Brown, the next door neighbor of #BothamJean was killed last night after being shot several times by an unknown assailant. Because, Brown worked closely with prosecutors just a week ago to ensure Amber Guyger was properly convicted in the murder trial, the DA’s office has fairly direct contact with Brown and his family. An ADA has confirmed that it was in fact Brown who was killed although they have yet to identify a suspect or motive for the shooting. The case is now in the hands of the Dallas Police Department. Brown’s testimony stood out as a fact witness who was approaching his apartment directly across from Botham Jean’s apartment when shots rang out. Brown was still visibly shaken up from the incident when he took the stand to testify on behalf of the prosecution. His murder underscores the reality of the black experience in America. A former athlete turned entrepreneur— Brown lived in constant fear that he could be the next victim of gun violence, either state sanctioned or otherwise. We have more work to do deal with the constant threats to our community both from within and without. Brown deserves the same justice he sought to ensure the Jean family. The Dallas County criminal justice system must mobilized to identify his killer and see that he is held accountable for this murder. A post shared by S. Kelly is being accused by prosecutors of hiding a boatload of cash in his childhood friend’s bank accounts. Court documents show that prosecutors believe the R&B legend is flat out lying about being broke and that he has been diverting his music royalty payments to a third party. Prosecutors state: “the defendant’s contention that he has “almost no financial resources” is also misleading. In fact, the defendant continues to receive hundreds of thousands of dollars in connection with royalties he is owed for his music. The government’s investigation has revealed that earlier this year, the defendant re-directed those royalties to the bank account of a childhood friend. Regardless of where those funds are being held, however, they belong to the defendant and, at any time, the defendant can redirect those funds – and future royalty proceeds earned – to an account in his name.” If true, things could get even uglier for Kelly as he sits in jail already facing a slew of other charges.

Source: SMXRF/Star Max / Getty Ronnie Ortiz-Magro Booked For Kidnapping After Alleged Domestic Assault Involving Girlfriend Jen Harley After ignoring friends and family who say the two should breakup for good because they have a toxic relationship, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Jen Harley got into yet another domestic dispute. Ronnie was tased, arrested, and charged with kidnapping. The Jersey Shore actor allegedly chased Jen with a knife…. while holding their 18-month-old child in his arms. Apparently, Jen told cops Ronnie lost it after doing cocaine. From TMZ : Ronnie and his GF, Jen — who’ve been on and off due to several violent incidents — got into another heated argument early Friday morning, shortly after 2:30 AM, at an Airbnb they’re renting in L.A. … according to our law enforcement sources. As we’ve seen in the past … the argument got out of hand quickly, because we’re told Ronnie allegedly slapped and punched Jen … who then went running out of the house, screaming for help. TMZ states cops received multiple calls about Jen being “in distress.” Our law enforcement sources say Ronnie gave chase … running after Jen, allegedly with a knife in his hand, and horrifyingly, also with their infant daughter! We’re told Ronnie was holding 18-month-old Ariana as he yelled at Jen to get back in the house. We’re told Ronnie eventually dropped the knife and locked himself and Ariana in the house. That’s where he was when police arrived on the scene, and he did not respond to their commands to come outside. Believing baby Ariana might be in danger, the police reportedly broke down the door to the house, at which point Ronnie still didn’t calm down… so they tased him. TMZ reports the girls suffered no major injuries, though Jen has visible marks on her face according to what the site is told. The site also states that 12 hours before the incident they were hand-in-hand, happy about getting back together although their loved ones warned against it… see that HERE .
