Ex-Cowboys Player John Rohrer Marries Boyfriend A former NFL player has said “I do” to his longtime boyfriend yesterday on a day when he used to walk into the locker room and keep his sexuality to himself. Former Dallas Cowboys linebacker Jeff Rohrer (1982-1987) wed his partner Joshua Ross yesterday in a ceremony at the Wattles Mansion in Los Angeles. In attendance was 12-year NFL punter Jon Ryan who said this about the significance of what he witnessed: “I can’t wait for the day when somebody drafts an openly gay man and nobody says anything,” Ryan told USA TODAY Sports. “But I think we’re decades away.” Also in attendance was Roher’s extremely understanding ex-wife: Among the first people to congratulate Rohrer after the service Sunday was his ex-wife, Heather. For the past year, she has lived with Rohrer, their two teenager children and Rohrer’s new husband in a house in Manhattan Beach. “It was a long road to get here,” Heather Rohrer said. “I am happy we’re here. Jeffrey is a good man.” Congrats to John and Josh, but discuss this ex-wife part amongst yourselves.

Cassie penned a sweet message to Kim Porter today, November 19, one day after her homegoing. The singer noted that Kim was an “amazing mother” and sent sincere condolences to Puff who she called “the best father.” She also shouted out the rest of the baby’s mothers in Diddy’s life; Sarah Chapman and Misa Hylton and the children Kim’s leaving behind. “There are no words…. An amazing mother to her beautiful family, lit up every room she entered and now the most beautiful angel Sending so much love and my condolences to the Porter and Combs family. I love you @quincy, @kingcombs, Jessie, D’Lila, Chance, @princejdc and @diddy. Puff you are already the best father. I know you will be amazing. That’s the question that’s being asked now that two exes are publicly bashing each other AGAIN. Bow Wow and Erica Mena have been at war on social media this weekend over a comment Erica made about her #GUHHATL ex. After TheShadeRoom posted a video of Shad asking women why they’d want to eat at Applebee’s instead of Nobu (Uh, what?), Erica commented; “Can y’all forget I ever dealt with him PLEASE!” The comment apparently pissed off Shad because he brought up an old social media rumor that Erica Mena slept with over 500 people, and Erica clapped back in an EPIC way. “Nope. Just like we won’t forget them 500 bodies,” said Shad. “You mean the 500 bodies you stayed eating between my legs standing up little man,” replied Erica. Kendrick Johnson: Third Autopsy Claims Foul Play In Gym Mat Death Of Georgia Teen

Source: D-Keine / Getty Kendrick Johnson’s Parents’ Conduct Third Autopsy, Find Foul Play The parents of a Georgia teen who was found dead in a wrestling mat have conducted a third autopsy. The AJC reports that Kendrick Johnson’s parents Kenneth and Jackie Johnson paid for an autopsy that found that the teen died nearly six years ago from non-accidental blunt force trauma between his neck and abdomen. The results match the first autopsy done on Kendrick, also paid for by his family. The AJC adds that the results will make “minimal impact” considering that a federal investigation ruled out foul play As previously reported the state medical examiner’s office said Kendrick’s 2013 cause of death was “positional asphyxia,” after he accidentally became rolled in a gym mat while allegedly trying to retrieve a pair of sneakers. His death was ruled an accident and in 2016 the Justice Department concluded there was “insufficient evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that someone or some group of people willfully violated Kendrick Johnson’s civil rights or committed any other prosecutable federal crime.” His parents believe that two sons of a local FBI agent; Brian, and Branden Bell murdered their son. The parents previously filed a whopping $100 million lawsuit against 38 people they believed were involved.   A judge accused the Johnsons of fabricating evidence to support their claims and they were ordered to pay attorney’s fees to multiple defendants. SMH…this is all so sad. All these years and still no answers for this family.

Mama’s A RIDER: Man Captured At IHOP After His Mother Helped Him Escape From Jail

Source: Radio One Staff / Radio One Houston Man Found At IHOP With Mother After Escaping From Jail A mother in Georgia helped her son escape jail this week, then took him to celebrate the feat with some pancakes. But unfortunately for the tag team, her son wasn’t out of jail for long. Soon enough the mother and son duo were captured at the most popular pancake place of them all, the International House Of Pancakes (IHOP) . The Heard County Sheriff’s Office told local  TV station WSBTV  that 27-year-old Joshua Gullat slipped out of the jail while mopping floors and cleaning bathrooms on Monday night at around 11:30 p.m. Gullat’s mother, 54-year-old Kathy Pence, was reportedly waiting in a Black Cadillac Escalade to whisk him away from the jail. Investigators reportedly tracked Pence’s cellphone—apparently after she had earlier received directions from her son, via a phone call, about where to pick him up at the jail—which led them to an IHOP in Coweta County, Georgia. Heard County Sgt. Dan Boswell told WSBTV, “He said they were sitting at the table eating. He was sitting with two of his kids at the table. His mom, him and two of his children.” According to authorities, it only took about two hours to recapture Gullat. “With the good work between our dispatchers and the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office, this escape was resolved in a timely fashion,” Boswell said, according to  the Newman Times-Herald.  “We appreciate all their help.” Police said Gullat apologized for the escape but wouldn’t give up how he got to the restaurant alongside his mother. WGCL reported that Gullat had been serving a 24 to 36 month sentence on two charges of burglary, but of course, he’s now facing additional felony charges for the escape. His mother faces a felony charge as well for helping the escape.

During her announcement, she said, “This is not a speech of concession.” She shared that she plans to file a federal lawsuit to challenge the “gross mismanagement” of elections in the state of Georgia. “I will not concede because the erosion of our democracy is not right.”
